Inn Astoria in Nürnberg

We had the entree of Roast Pumpkin and Soup which were lovely. However the main course of vegetarian curry was very average and the rice was very hard. The service however was very good. But it’s not enough for me to go back.

Absolutely excellent food and outstanding service. I decided to go to the Arve on the spur of the moment because I was in the attached hotel as part of a training course. You really can't complain about anything. The price-performance ratio is also right. You can only recommend the Arve.

The prices are really very high and the quality is correspondingly high. Is it the best kebab ever? No. But I like it, you can afford it more often than some others and, in addition to the super friendly staff, it's an absolute recommendation.

The last free parking space was really a stroke of luck, because the parking situation is a disgrace - you either get one of the few free spaces or you pay €9.50 per night for the garage, which makes the already overpriced stay even more expensive. And €220 per night for a single room is simply outrageous for what you get at the Schindlerhof! The room was old and had a disgusting carpet, and in the evening only cold water came out of the shower - which is absolutely unacceptable for the price. Sure, the flexible check-in and check-out was convenient, but that doesn't justify the outrageous price. For €220 I expect more than an outdated room and cold showers! I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone unless they can even provide the basics like hot water.

Smaller portions are not so cheap The taste is quite ok. Beer selection: Tucher Hardly anything going on on Sunday evening. Ambience quite nice. Beer garden very nice.
