Schöner Biergarten im Hinterhof, Kellner sind sehr nett, schnell und zuvorkommend. Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Lemoncello Spritz ist immer sehr gut. Sehr zu empfehlen

Bestes Pizzaerlebnis in Ingolstadt. Essen ist sehr gut und preiswert (vor allem Mittwochs) und die Bedienung ist immer super nett, auch wenn sehr viel los ist. Sie gehen auch spezielle Wünsche ein z.B. Geburtstagskerzen auf den Kuchen aufzustellen und als Überraschung an den Tisch zu bringen

Also super tolle Pizza uns sehr freundliche Bedienung und sehr aufmerksam. Von ortskundigen wussten wir das hier die Pizza die Spezialität und der Hammer ist und die war auch echt toll. Aber auch die Vorspeise aus der Vetrineewar toll. Zudem sehr gutes Preis -Leistungsverhältniss.

Wir hatten Spaghetti Frutti die Mare (eher neutral, zu viel Tomate) und Pizza Nduia (lecker).

Wir waren zu fünft dort und hatten insgesamt echt einen super Abend! Der Service war mega aufmerksam, freundlich und schnell – genau so wünscht man sich das 😊 Das Essen war größtenteils richtig lecker, man merkt, dass hier mit Liebe gekocht wird. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt war für uns die Fischplatte, die hat uns geschmacklich nicht ganz überzeugt. Aber der Rest war wirklich top! Die Drinks waren schön groß und preislich absolut fair, was heutzutage echt nicht selbstverständlich ist. Alles in allem können wir das Restaurant definitiv weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder

Der Inhaber war unfreundlich, als wir ihm gesagt haben, dass mein Käse schlecht gerochen hat und offenbar nicht mehr gut war. Außerdem hatten von fünf Personen am Tisch vier danach Durchfall.

Sehr enttäuschend. Wir bestellten Pilztortellini und gegrillte Calamari. Die Tortellini waren nicht gar, die Soße wässrig und fade, und der Speck war verbrannt. Die Calamari waren geschmacklos. Das einzig Gute war das Tiramisu. Ansonsten war das Personal freundlich und die Atmosphäre angenehm.

Seit Jahren kommen wir hierher und wurden nie enttäuscht. Hervorragendes Essen, tolle Bedienung und immer ein rundum gelungener Besuch. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Sehr umfangreiche Speisekarte, hier sollte jeder etwas finden! Die Speisen waren frisch und es ging sehr schnell! Sehr kinderfreundlich und zuvorkommend das Personal!

Absolute Empfehlung! Ich war im Al Castello essen und bin wirklich begeistert. Als Vorspeise hatte ich die Bruschetta – super frisch, perfekt gewürzt und einfach richtig lecker. Als Hauptgang gab es Gnocchi Quattro Formaggi und ich muss sagen: ein Traum! Mega cremig, intensiver Käsegeschmack, perfekt abgestimmt und auf den Punkt gekocht. Der Service war genauso stark wie das Essen – sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Top Bedienung, top Service, top Essen – rundum ein gelungener Abend. Ich komme definitiv wieder! 🇮🇹🍝🔥

Ich habe Pasta bestellt, die leider geschmacklos war; sie schmeckte wie Fertigware, so wie man sie im Supermarkt kauft.

Wir besuchten das Ristorante Al Castello ohne Reservierung und waren absolut begeistert! Trotz des Andrangs wurden wir sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen. Die Kellner waren stets lächelnd, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend und erfüllten uns jeden Wunsch. Das Essen kam prompt, heiß und köstlich. Wir haben hervorragend gegessen und uns vom ersten bis zum letzten Moment rundum verwöhnt gefühlt. Ein wirklich angenehmes Erlebnis – wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können das Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen!

The delicious food immediately reminds me of my holiday in Italy.

We went there for the first time today at lunchtime, coming from Essen. I had linguine with salmon and spinach. The food arrived quite quickly, but unfortunately the plates were cold, the pasta only lukewarm, and the portion was rather small for the normal price. The taste was okay, though. The service was fine. However, I wouldn't come back.

Very good pizzas, service could be a bit more attentive, room temperature a bit low...

It's almost impossible to get a table without a reservation! Very friendly and prompt service! The food was very good, and even legitimate criticism was addressed immediately. That's how it should be, not like in Nuremberg, where people shrug their shoulders and don't seem to care! The place is large and very busy, with the corresponding noise level. A must-visit on your next trip to Ingolstadt!

As guests at the Rappensberger Hotel, we naturally ate at the hotel's Ristorante Al Castello on our first evening in Ingolstadt. Unfortunately, there were no tables available for us on the terrace, and even sitting right by the open window, we suffered from the heat. The service was quick and friendly, but more so on the crowded terrace. The shandies were a good mix and tasted good. The pizza with truffles and porcini mushrooms was far too overloaded with cheese and practically swimming in olive oil. However, it tasted quite good. The fresh pasta with porcini mushrooms and salsiccia, on the other hand, was excellent. Unfortunately, it was cooked a bit too al dente. As a result, it required a lot of chewing and felt a little heavy in my stomach. The prices were reasonable for a good Italian restaurant.

I've been to the Castello in Ingolstadt several times, and every time everything has been top-notch. The food is incredibly delicious, the restaurant is lovely and cozy, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

I've rarely eaten such good Italian pizza. I had water there with my family, and my wife's pizza was also perfect. It's great that there are still restaurants like this. Passionately cooked food paired with very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We were already at Al Castello when it was still on the Ingobräu premises and we also come regularly to the Rappensberger premises. The pizzas are very tasty and the selection is large, and there are toppings that you can't find in every pizzeria. Antipasti also tasted very good, but the price was sometimes exorbitant. Unfortunately, the service quality varies from "passable" to "unquestionable", and that's the big sticking point here for me - a shame! Nevertheless, the restaurant is always full, reservations are highly recommended.

We love this restaurant very much😊. There is always room for a large group. The food is very tasty, the atmosphere is warm. Friendly and nice waiters who speak nice German with an Italian accent👍 The only downside is that parking is difficult. Maybe this is temporary while road construction is going on. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone as a regular!

The menus are placed on the table in packs. The children have delicious pizza, I have the fish plate. But two hours after eating, I can't get rid of the unpleasant smell of the fish. The squid and the fillet were not ok. Apparently not fresh. The three of us tasted the fish: it's not fresh! I had to leave it behind. Conclusion: despite communication to the kitchen and chef: no response. No liquor. NOTHING. I will never go there again!

After I often organize company-related meals, I found the Castello a perfect location where you can easily submit your reservation via the website. The staff is on top of their game, the food is surprisingly cheap as the ambience in the Rappensberger conveys a high-quality flair. The location is central on Hardestr. with two parking garages that are approximately the same distance away. I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

We were here on a Thursday. Although the restaurant was very full, we received extremely friendly and courteous service. We were all very satisfied with the dishes we ordered. My pizza was very tasty. The prices are very cheap.

Restaurant very good...very full...staff very friendly and attentive. Buffalo mozzarella pizza eaten with salad was good. Dessert was supposed to be tiramisu but it was more of a cheap imitation of it. There was hardly any mascarpone, if any. More of a pure cream slice with spoonfuls. Not even a trace of Amaretto. Wife had three kinds of desserts that weren't a hit either, including Muse Chocolat. The only really good one was the lemon sorbet.

The food on site was very good. Pizzas are highly recommended. The rest of the food is sometimes a bit small and you should add an appetizer. Service is top. Drink prices are cheap The location itself is very large

Nice and large restaurant with lots of seats. It can get a bit noisy in the back. The food is delicious and there is something for every taste. The service was nice and attentive. The portions could be a little bigger.

By far the best pizza I've eaten in a long time - even though there are definitely good competitors here in Ingolstadt ;-) Excellent dough, optimally topped and the “seasoning basket” with salt, pepper and chili oil rounds off the taste perfectly. The selection of pizzas is also gigantic and is estimated to be over 30 different ones? Small suggestion for improvement: due to the sheer number of pizzas, perhaps a future version of the menu will provide a little more overview, e.g.: using small icons next to the pizza name, for vegetarians and pescatarians. So I have to spend a lot of time reading through every single ingredient.

Ich war das zweite Mal hier, doch leider konnte mich die Pizza wieder nicht überzeugen. Der Teig ist kompakt und nicht fluffig. Der Rand überhaupt nicht knusprig, sehr schwer zu essen. Dafür war das Essen wirklich sehr schnell auf dem Tisch und die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Leider hat mich die Nachspeise auch schwer enttäuscht, denn das Tiramisu wurde mit Sahne zubereitet und hat somit nichts mit Tiramisu für mich zu tun.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed: 1) Cucumber salad: cucumber slices with oil + dry herbs 😬 2) Pizza a la Chef: 4 very, very small piles of salami + pickled mushrooms & canned peppers. The best part was really just the dough. What kind of boss?😬 3) Chianti: way too cold and not tasty😬 ....unfortunately...

The pizza was very, very tasty and on pizza day the price was unbeatable. The staff is very friendly, although we weren't served until later in the hour and were left high and dry. Regarding the ambience: it was very crowded and therefore very loud. You could only talk to your immediate neighbors at the table. Great food, atmosphere could be more pleasant :)

I was in this beautiful city for the first time and I had lunch and dinner for 3 days at Al Castello because it really deserves that you taste the entire menu. From the pizza with a unique and very light taste because it has a long leavening and therefore very digestible, to the delicious first and second courses, all prepared with excellent quality raw materials and without surprises. Truly an Italian restaurant abroad that deserves 10 stars. The extremely polite staff and despite always being full of people (the reason goes without saying), they never lose attention to the customer. To conclude with the owners Maria and Silvano who are super kind and will always make you feel at home. A wonderful experience, I will return whenever I can.

I had to wait almost 2 hours for my pizza, but when I got it it tasted very good. Staff really stressed but still nice.
