The restaurant is nicely located, right in the pedestrian zone. The food is quite good, even if I didn't find the mushroom sauce to go with the schnitzel as it had a sweetish aftertaste. The portions were generous, which is appropriate given the fairly high prices. Unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired. The waiters react to special requests - we're not talking about extravagances here, just about separate payments, for example - with great annoyance. They fulfill your wishes, but as a guest you quickly feel like a nuisance. Not a single smile from the waiters that evening. As a Bad Nauheimer, I wouldn't eat there again!

We got a table without a reservation, but the male waiter with a missing front tooth was extremely unfriendly, the tortellini ala panna was oversalted and too much pepper, the ham tasted strange and the schnitzel was fried to death. The kids didn't even like the lasagna. But the beer was good😉

I had a meal here with my mother - including pasta made from a Parmesan wheel. I could have eaten three portions, it was so delicious. Unfortunately, our seats were rather cramped and in close contact with other guests, which is not my thing. But the restaurant also seems popular.

Very good food, great hospitality and a long tradition characterize the family-run La Toscana. Due to its (understandable) popularity, it is advisable to reserve in advance.

You can also sit outside here when the weather is nice. The toilets can be reached via a steep staircase. Ordered a pizza with a side salad for 2 people in July 2024 (Wednesday pizza day = pizza with a free side salad). The pizza came on two plates as requested, but the pepperoni sausage, which we didn't want, was included. Since we were hungry, we put the pepperoni sausage on the edge of the plate. It's a shame that the sausage was so intense that the whole pizza took on the flavor of it. When the plates were cleared there was no comment about the sausage being on the plate. When we paid we were initially told an amount that couldn't be that. There were 2 pizzas charged instead of one. This was changed at our request.

Totally inflexible and unfriendly to customers. Service is the lowest cannon, they haven't understood yet that we don't live from stretching, but from us. Highly recommended! Also for people with celiac disease or gluten intolerance. It's rare to find such delicious gluten-free pizza and pasta. There was even gluten-free bread to accompany the aioli and olives. Very attentive and friendly staff. Five stars is almost not enough. Thank you! We would love to come back 😊

One of the unfriendly service I have experienced in Italian restaurants. Anyone who can tolerate being treated badly and can cope with a 'don't feel like it' mentality is in good hands here.

We ate at "La Toscana" for the first time on Wednesday and will definitely come back. Small, cute restaurant. We sat by the waterfall. It might be a bit disruptive during a conversation, but it didn't bother us. Before dinner there was some garlic cream, olives and bread on the house. I think something like that is great. A small effort for the innkeeper, but a happy customer who passes on exactly the same thing. We were also lucky that it was Wednesday. There is always a side salad with the pizza. The pizzas and especially the dough were very good. The salads were also fresh and the dressing was delicious. After dinner there was grappa on the house. Our conclusion: Nice hosts, ambience and service top and delicious food.

My husband and I come to Bad Nauheim for wellness twice a year and discovered La Toscana for the first time by chance - luckily! We were thrilled. Excellent food, top ingredients, very, very friendly staff, short waiting times for food and drinks. We make reservations here every time we come - most recently at the end of May for our anniversary. We'll definitely be back at the end of the year! The limoncello could be a little colder, but a gift horse... ;) Thanks, looking forward to next time.

Ate here for the first time and we really liked and enjoyed it. The pizza 🍕 is simply wonderful. The innkeepers are very nice and the service is good. It is very comfortable in the dining room but you can also sit outside in a pedestrian zone. Recommendation.

We were at La Toscana together for the first time this afternoon. First of all, I would like to say that we consistently experienced friendly and fast service. The food was fresh and the composition was very appropriate. We had everything you needed for a comprehensive visit to the restaurant (food, cold and warm drinks, dessert) and I have to admit that the prices didn't shock me. Fair is apt! I can only recommend a visit here to everyone and I can already say that it won't be our last visit!

Bad service, just very bad! They simply drive away customers. They couldn't have made it clearer that they don't want customers. Well then, we won't go there anymore. No points, Zero!

A really nice and cozy place. The welcome, the recommendations and the service were great. Friendly and quick. The quality and quantity of the food was very good. The free salad was very fresh and tasty. I'll be back, I'm curious about the other dishes ;o) I came back and can write, it's worth it. Just the boss, he could be a little friendlier or more open-minded. 😏

We had reserved a table for 12 p.m. We were lucky because a little later the restaurant was completely full. About the food: The pizza was tasty, but it might have needed to be baked longer - not that bad. The size of the pizza was okay. The schnitzel was tasty and the portion was large enough. The side salad tasted good. You were definitely full. The leftovers that we hadn't made were packed up for us without any problem. The atmosphere was quite good, the restaurant is attractively designed. We would visit the restaurant again. Price-performance ratio was good.

Nach längerer Zeit waren wir endlich mal wieder im "La Toscana". Es war immer gut dort, diesmal fanden wir es besonders lecker. Wir hatten Spaghetti mit Meeresfrüchten und Gnocchi gefüllt in einer Gorgonzola Soße mit Walnüssen. Die Portionen waren für uns gut ausreichend, Vorspeise und Dessert gingen nicht. Der Pinot Grigio ebenfalls gut, alle waren sehr freundlich. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal !

Wir waren wieder einmal zum Valentinstag da. Das für diesen Tag kreierte Menu, u.a. mit dreierlei Pastas schmeckte ausgezeichnet. Der von mir bestellte Fischteller mit Lachs, Schwertfisch und Rotbarsch sowie ein paar Muscheln und Tintenfischringen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Alle Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wie üblich ging der letzte Drink nach dem Bezahlen auf‘s Haus. Ich kenne das Restaurant nun schon seit 1999 und bin noch niemals enttäuscht worden.

Since I have celiac disease, I can only eat gluten-free foods. After the original waitress responded quite unfriendly to my questions, she sent a colleague. She was super friendly and explained to me that they have 2 different types of gluten-free pasta and even gluten-free pizza dough. Special molds, utensils, etc. are used during preparation and both pasta and pizza are suitable for those affected by celiac disease. There was no mention of this great offer on the menu, so I was very happy and decided on a pizza. This was really tasty, large, reasonably priced and I can definitely recommend it! It's great that this offer exists 😊

Das La Toscana in Bad Nauheim kann ich nur empfehlen. Hier bekommt man all das geboten, was man sich von einem guten italienischem Restaurant wünscht. Das sehr nette Personal serviert hervorragendes Essen in wirklich angenehmer Atmosphäre. In jedem Fall ist diese Location ein absolutes Highlight.

Das Ambiente war super. Die bieten Menüs an, die sehr preisgünstig sind ca. 15€ (Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und Nachtisch). Was ich allerdings nicht empfehlen kann ist dort Fisch zu essen. Der war nämlich leider nicht frisch, aber ansonsten sehr gut.

Der wahrscheinlich beste Italiener in Bad Nauheim und Umgebung… Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt - wie im Urlaub! Der Bedienung immer überaus aufmerksam und freundlich! Meine Tochter liebt den Lachs, mein Bruder die Pizza mit den frischen Champignons und ich kann nicht ohne die Trüffel Pasta leben😁 Absolute Empfehlung!!!

Sehr schönes Ambiente, netter Service (Familienunternehmen), saubere Sanitäranlagen und ein hervorragendes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Die Gerichte waren im Rahmen des 3 Gänge Menüs sehr lecker, ordentliche Portionen zum satt werden und absolut preiswert. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ich war sehr positiv überrascht war mal vor etlichen Jahren hier hat ein Wandel Einzug gehalten der absolut super ist. Unsere Tischnachbarn waren ne ganze Ecke von Bad Nauheim entfernt aber einmal im Monat die Stadt besuchen und dazu gehört auch der Besuch des Restaurant was ich nachvollziehen kann. Bedienung locker und super freundlich 👍. Wir kommen wieder,!!!!

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir wurden perfekt bedient. Für das Ambiente gibt‘s nur 4 Sterne weil der Tisch für 2 Personen schon sehr klein ist. ABER das Essen ist dafür hervorragend. Habe selten so gute Pasta gegessen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt in ihrem Restaurant.

Ein toller Italiener mit etwas anderen Gerichten. Kein Standard sondern wirklich kreative Gerichte, die einfach gut sind. Die Pizzen waren mir persönlich etwas zu voll geladen, aber das ist Geschmackssache. Aber wirklich alles war lecker. Kann man hingehen. Due Ausstattung fand ich etwas altbacken.

Essen lecker!Ambiente schön! Nachdem das Essen kam, völlig ignoriert worden. Keine Nachfrage, ob man noch was trinken möchte oder ein Dessert erwünscht ist. Kartenzahlung wird dort überhaupt nicht gerne gesehen. Schon beim letzten Besuch wurde pampig reagiert wegen fehlendem Bargeld. Beim jetzigen Besuch anderen Tischen mitbekommen, dass ungern Kartenzahlung angenommen wurde.Bei meiner Freundin wurde dann knallhart behauptet, Kartenlesegerät wäre erst kaputt, danach, es gäbe Internetprobleme. Unschönes Ende eines ansonsten schönem, leckeren Abends!

Sehr leckeres Essen, die Raumgestaltung ist mit Mauerwerk und Brunnen richtig schön, die männlichen Angestellten sehr freundlich, aber die Preise sind auch gut angehoben. Unser Tisch war zu nah an einem weiteren gestanden, sodass wir "genötigt" waren, das Gespräch der Nachbarn mitzuhören. Da das allerdings nur an unseren beiden Tischen der Fall zu sein schien, gibt's dafür keinen Punktabzug. Musik im Hintergrund hat gefehlt - hätte ich mir gewünscht.

Sehr leckeres Essen, super Ambiente mit Stil. Freundliches, aufmerksames Personal. Da das Resaturant beliebt ist, besser reservieren, waren am Sonntag da. Wir hatten Glück und wurden auch ohne Reservierung freundlich empfangen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Vor unserer Hauptspeise haben wir noch selbstgebackenes Brötchen und Oliven mit dip bekommen. Die drei bestellten Pizzen waren alle sehr lecker und reichlich belegt gewesen. Das Restaurant ist sehr kinderfreundlich und einen Räuberteller gab es auch. Zum Abschluss gab es eine Schnaps, der Sogar aufs Haus ging. Ich kann es nur sehr weiterempfehlen und ist einem Besuch wert.

The food is ok, nothing special, not creative or coming up with tasty nuances of spices, herbs or vegetables. The staff is friendly but not going the extra mile and the interior is a mix of '80's brickstone patio restaurant chic' and red plastic elements and lights to cover some of the brickstone and trying to give it a modern touch.

Food was ok, but service was terrible. We waited one hour for the food, one of the meals was only brought to the table only when the rest had already finished their meals. Probably not going there again.

Wie hatten zweimal das Mittagsmenü, bestehend aus einem Vorspeisensalat, einer Hauptspeise - für uns einmal Fisch, einmal Lasagne - und einem Dessert, diesmal Vanilleeis und Mascarpone. Wir kamen etwas früh. Das essen war gut. Es war nicht überragend in dem Sinne, dass ich bspw. den Käse auf der Lasagne nicht so gut fand, das Gericht insgesamt aber Klasse. Auch für den Preis war es richtig gut. Ich komme bestimmt wieder. Dass das Restaurant einige Jahrzehnte von derselben Familie geführt wird, merkt man. Gute Atmosphäre, gute Lage.

Wir mussten sehr lange warten auf das bestellen und auch bis das Essen kam hat es ewig gedauert. Die Beilagensalate kamen eine halbe Stunde vor den Hauptgerichten. An den anderen Tischen hat auch niemand gegessen, alle haben gewartet. Dann hat das Essen bei keinem von uns besonders geschmeckt. Die Dame die den Tisch bedient hat wirkte lustlos und ich hatte das Gefühl mich erstmal entschuldigen zu müssen dass ich es wage sie anzusprechen. Dafür sehr happige Preise, wir werden leider nicht mehr wieder kommen.

Essen und Trinken sehr gut. Wir hatten Glück und haben einen Tisch ohne Reservierung bekommen. Einzige Kritik: die eine Dame im Service war recht kurz angebunden bis hin zu unfreundlich.

Pizza wie in Italien? Leckere Pasta? Netter Service? Auf nach Bad Nauheim! Im La Toscana hatten wir zu 11. (!) fast gleichzeitig unsere Pizzen und Salate. Eine freundliche Bedienung und extrem schmackhaftes Essen, was will man mehr? Salate frisch, Pasta viel und mit Geschmack, Pizza nicht von Gouda ertränkt, sondern mit excellentem Belag obendrauf. Dazu ein leckeres Weizen, was will man mehr?!?

Wir waren zum Geburtstagsessen dort, wie immer nette Bedienung, die Fischsuppe grandios u. Pasta mit Filetspitzen sehr gut, die Bambini haben ein Dessert mit Kerze bekommen. Schönes Mittagessen, gerne wieder.

Wir waren schon oft im La Toscana. Auch dieses Mal wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Sämtliche Tische waren besetzt - das ist durchaus auch ein Qualitätsmerkmal. Wir haben eine wunderbare Fischplatte für 2 Personen gegessen. Alles Perfekt. Der Service war auch in Ordnung und nicht zu beanstanden.

Die Servicefrau ist äußerst unhöflich. Sie schlägt einen sehr schroffen Ton. Ich hatte in meinem Vorspeisensalat eine kleine lebende Nacktschnecke. Als ich Sie darauf ansprach, meinte sie, dass sei keine Schnecke und es wäre nichts. Es sei normal im Salat. Danach wurde ihr Tonfall auch nicht besser. Das einzige, was den Abend halbwegs rettete, war meine Hauptspeise. Alles in allem keinen zweiten Besuch wert.

The pizza was good, almost as food as what I get in Italy. The young lady that showed me to my table and took my order was wonderful, very friendly. The older woman who took my payment was terrible. She did not utter a single word but only scowled at me, took my money, then left. Interesting how the last experience is what I remember most.

Geschmacksorgie im La Toscana… Noch schnell vorm Winterurlaub ins Toscana….immer mal was neues ausprobieren…Muscheln ….Auswahl zwischen 4 Soßen….habe mich für die Sahnesoße entschieden…..toll Gewürzt….Super geschmeckt….auch die anderen Gäste gingen zufrieden und entspannt….bis bald….ach ja….bin Single(66 Jahre) und bin schon gespannt was es den 1 und 2 Weihnachtsfeiertag gibt…..bleibt gesund…

We have visited Bad Nauheim several times & eaten at many of the restaurants in the town. Without doubt La Toscana is the best for service, friendliness & quality of food. It is a family run eatery offering genuine Italian & European food at reasonable prices & the portions are ample. What impressed us as well was the willingness of the staff to go the extra mile & provide us with dishes that were not on the menu. For all you discerning foodies who enjoy fine food & attentive service this is the place to visit in Bad Nauheim!!

We went to this restaurant few times while visiting family in Bad Nauheim and it became my favourite. I have never eaten such a delicious pasta dish and the minestrone soup is out of this world. The atmosphere is very nice as it’s a family run business and Giovanni and his lovely wife Nicola made us feel very welcomed. We took our family there with young kids and they were very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Eine Bedienung war sehr unhöflich zu mir. Ich habe die Lachsnudeln in Sahnesoße bestellt. Es kam ein Lachs mit einer großen Menge an Pfeffer an. Die Soße wurde mit Sellerie und Fenchel angereichert (was jedoch nicht in der Karte erwähnt wurde). Das Gericht wurde dadurch total ruiniert. Es waren viel zu viele, starke Aromen wodurch der Fisch total unterging.

Das Restaurant bietet aktuell einen angenehmen Außenbereich. Die Freundlichkeit im Service ist etwas davon abhängig, mit welcher Kraft man es gerade zu tun hat. Aber insgesamt in Ordnung. Wir hatten das Mittagsmenü mit Lamm sowie Fisch. Vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hervorragend, auch wenn wir uns mehr mediterrane Würze in Form des Einsatzes von mehr Kräutern gewünscht hätten. Aber insgesamt macht man hier nichts verkehrt.
