Very tasty, large pizzas, also available for takeaway... Good service, fast service!

We had a friendly, but still new server. The service was accordingly uneven. When we complained, they immediately responded very kindly and corrected our problem. To our surprise, the manager came back to us at the end, apologized, and treated us to tiramisu on the house! Very friendly and perfect customer service! And the food was absolutely delicious! All in all: We highly recommend Pizzeria Roma!

Actually, it's a good pizzeria. But it only serves takeout. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait an hour for our food. The waitress apologized, but the owner wasn't aware of any wrongdoing and didn't apologize. Quite the opposite... The customer is king... He doesn't know what he's doing and has an arrogant demeanor. Things can only get better.

We went there on a Sunday lunchtime without a reservation. We got a seat right away; super fast service, and everyone was super nice! The food was incredibly good, with huge portions and a very reasonable price! A big thank you goes to Dahap, who looked after us so well. We'd love to go back!

This review is only based on the takeaway pizzas we bought. First the positives: very generous portions and big pizza. Now on to the areas of improvement: - hollandaise pizza was very bland and flavourless. I would’ve wished for more flavour of the sauce and more Brokkoli. In general a little disappointing - the Mexico pizza had a similar problem - quite bland and tasted mostly like “bolognese sauce” which means minced meat and tomato soup but without flavour. - the crust of all pizzas was burnt and too dark -The three sauces we had (samurai, 2x aioli) were not good at all and had a very cheap mayonnaise taste In general good if you focus on eating a lot but not if your main point is flavour.

Very friendly staff and fast service. You feel like you're in good hands. The food was delicious, and we'd be happy to come back.

We entered the restaurant because of the visible indoor playground – it looks inviting from the outside, especially with children. We also regularly order pizza to go, which remains the only bright spot: the pizza is decent and perfectly edible. Unfortunately, the positives end there. The other dishes on the menu are very disappointing in quality. The lasagna consisted mainly of a thick layer of cheese – no meat or discernible sauce, and tasted inedible. The spaghetti carbonara bore no resemblance to the original: cooked in vegetable broth, the ham was hard and dry – all in all, a bland, disappointing dish. They charged an additional €2 for a tiny portion of dry Parmesan cheese – completely disproportionate. The children's playroom inside was also a disappointment. Although it looks inviting from the outside, access is only permitted with an adult – even for children aged 6 and 8. A large poster hangs in front of the room, which, according to the staff, must be read before entering. The whole thing seems more off-putting than child-friendly. The staff's unfriendly demeanor was particularly negative – there was no sign of hospitality in either the service or their interactions with families. Another criticism: card payments are not accepted. There's a machine outside where you have to withdraw cash – also outdated and impractical. Conclusion: The takeaway pizza is okay – everything else is a disappointment. Unfriendly service, inedible food (except pizza), no child-friendly access to the playroom, and no card payments. We were initially surprised why it was empty on a Sunday afternoon.

Delicious, huge pizzas – no one will leave hungry! The pizzas are really large and delicious – anyone who eats here will definitely be full. The other dishes are also highly recommended, and there's the option to order takeaway, which is super convenient. If the place is full (which happens often – that speaks for itself), it may take a while for the food to arrive, but the team is always friendly, attentive, and helpful. Important: For groups of 4 or more, make sure you reserve in advance, otherwise it can get crowded! Unfortunately, card payments aren't accepted, so be sure to bring cash. Overall, a very friendly place with delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere – we'll be happy to come back!

Very tasty food, comfortable seating and very friendly and helpful staff.

Unfortunately, the lasagna wasn't lasagna at all, there was no trace of béchamel, and it was topped with too much cheese. Tasteless Bolognese topped with slabs of pasta. There was no sense of love in the cooking. The ambiance from the outside was so bad you wouldn't even want to go in, and the 30-year-old wallpaper inside made it impossible to feel love at all.

I recently visited this restaurant and was completely impressed. I received a friendly welcome upon arrival, and the entire staff was attentive, helpful, and warm throughout my visit – you feel truly welcome. The food was excellent: freshly prepared, with a very well-balanced flavor, and beautifully presented. I was particularly impressed by the fact that the dishes were not only delicious but also plentiful. You definitely get quality on your plate here. The value for money is also absolutely spot on. The prices are very fair for the quality offered and the friendly service. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable restaurant visit. I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience and will definitely return!

The food was delicious, and the portions were more than generous. The value for money was unbeatable. Even though it was very busy, everyone was super friendly and accommodating, and Justin was especially nice. At the end, we were treated to a delicious Italian schnapps on the house. I had visitors from the Palatinate region last week. Everyone loved the food. The taste was amazing, as were the portions. They don't skimp on anything. I had to look twice at the prices. They're relatively inexpensive. We'll be back anytime.

From pizza to pasta to schnitzel, everything is simply top-notch. Everything is super fresh, and the pizza is still made traditionally by hand and baked in a wood-fired oven.

I ordered two schnitzels and a large pizza today. Unfortunately, only the pizza was tasty; the schnitzels and sauces weren't at all. I don't recommend this place. They get one star because the pizza was okay.

For me this has nothing to do with an Italian restaurant, but rather something to do with a fast food joint where you can get large quantities for a small price. In my opinion, quantity over quality.

Today I went to eat locally with 4 others. Apart from the fact that the schnitzel consists of 80% breading, the waiter also deducted €5 from me. At the end I had paid my bill of 1x Hugo, 1x Fanta and 1x Cola and 2 schnitzels I gave the gentleman a tip He came back 2 minutes later and said he hadn't charged me for the Hugo. I wasn't entitled to a receipt either Well, I gave it. At home I looked at the menu and saw that I had wrongly given the waiter the €5. Sorry, but I won't be taken for a ride. Impudence!

Very large and tasty pizzas for an absolutely fair price.

The worst spaghetti Alio Olio. Instead of sautéing fresh garlic, the pasta was drowned in garlic oil. The Barbera tasted stale (at least it lacked pretty much everything that makes a Barbera). The espresso came from a machine - a no go for an Italian restaurant. The invoice came after the 3rd request - but without a printout of the invoice. Well, for me it remains a unique event (and by that I don't mean the quality of the cuisine). In my opinion, absolutely no recommendation

Mhmm, no card payment. Not exactly contemporary. Small pizza around 14, - is not exactly cheap, but the small pizza was quite large, on the table in no time and tasted quite good.

Two-part evaluation: Pizza and service very good, small pizza absolutely sufficient for normal eaters. Pay: Rather bad. There is no card payment, but there is an ATM in the entrance area from which most customers have to pay a lot of fees to withdraw. I think it's a very bad idea to do it like that. The store doesn't actually need it.

Unfortunately it became very expensive. We regularly order here as a whole company. From one order to the next the pizzas cost €3 more. It's not necessarily the high price that bothers me, it's just that I can no longer rely on the prices in the supposedly current brochures. But the pizzas are always good in taste. Too bad.

Unfortunately, my visit here was anything but pleasant. The schnitzel without breadcrumbs was much too thin (approx. 0.5 cm), the pizza seemed like it had been carelessly smeared together, and the toppings barely held together. The service was either arrogant or simply faulty. Particularly unpleasant: There was a strong smell of grease in the entire room, apparently due to insufficient exhaust air or not being switched on. My clothes smelled strongly of grease afterwards. Overall not a good experience - I definitely won't be back.

They were patient with us for not speaking German. Pizzas were larger than thought! We ordered two smaller pizzas and they were almost as large as the large pizzas! Also, very clean bathrooms and a clean dining area. Thank you for having us! Will visit again when we’re in the neighborhood

Yes. The large pizza is only for really good eaters. The little one is usually enough for me.

They don't even deserve one star, but rather zero. We, as a family (2 adults and 3 children aged 8, 5 and 3), were there with my uncle and wanted to order 3 large pizzas and 6 drinks. However, the waitress was not allowed to take this order because in her opinion it was not enough for 6 people. SO policy of this restaurant.. She even suggested that I order the children's menu, but I couldn't explain to her that the children often only eat one slice of pizza or even less. So I don't want to order an extra pizza just to have to throw it away later. For this reason we wanted to order 3 large pizzas and distribute them. This was completely unkind and such a policy is simply outrageous. In the end we got nothing. I've never had an experience like this and haven't heard of it from anyone.

Spontaneous without reservation, nice and friendly service, everything goes quickly. Toilets are in the basement and can only be opened by the staff with a key, which ensures that only guests visit the place. Since we were there at lunchtime, we were given the lunch menu in addition to the regular menu. Here you get a “small” Margherita pizza with an additional topping and a small bowl of salad for a small thaler. When the order came we were floored. A "small" pizza has a diameter of 36cm, which we didn't know beforehand. Unfortunately, we only managed half of it and were able to take the rest with us without any problems. If we happen to be in the area again, I know where we will definitely go again.

Today our children were there and wanted to share a large pizza in the restaurant and also order drinks. Unfortunately, you were not allowed to eat in the restaurant, but you still had to pay for the pizza and take it with you. At least one dish must be consumed per child. This is absolutely ridiculous and very unfriendly to children! By the way, the restaurant was absolutely empty! You have lost us as long-standing regular customers!!!

The pizza was OK, the service was good. The premises are ok. There is enough space but it doesn't look authentically Italian. It was a bit annoying to have to leave the restaurant via the hallway and first get a key from the kitchen in order to use the toilet. Not suitable for wheelchairs.

I ate a pizza, I couldn't finish the small one. Was really very good. Unfortunately there is one big drawback: my clothes smelled so much like the kitchen that everything had to be put in the laundry. Ventilation wasn't enough. Too bad.

We were in Bad Nauheim with a larger group and the pizzeria was recommended to us by the hotel because we spontaneously wanted to go out for dinner with around 20 people. We made a reservation at short notice which wasn't a problem at all. The prices of the dishes shocked us at first, but when we got the food we were reconciled. The pizzas are huge (everything else too) and were very tasty, so we went to Roma again on the second day. The service was on point and really nice, only the ambience is a bit cool. We will definitely come back when we are in the area.

For me: Probably the best pizza in the Wetterau! I'll limit my judgment to the pizzas I've tried so far... I love the slightly thicker base and the crusty edges, very well topped, all delicious... but be careful: only order the large ones if you're really hungry! Pay attention to the diameter... the small one is already big here 😉 The restaurant is simple but very attractive. Courteous service... Small drawback: No delivery service and therefore a parking problem in the immediate area (especially in the evenings).

We went to this pizzeria this evening based on a recommendation. However, we were a little disappointed. There were three of us and we ordered 2 pizzas and 3 water because one of us didn't have an appetite. We were then looked at strangely by the somewhat unfriendly waitress and understandably felt very uncomfortable. Two tables that came after us and ordered were served their food before us. The pizza didn't taste as good as we were told. We've eaten much better pizzas. The little, younger waitress who picked us up was friendly, but she packed up the rest of our pizza that we wanted packed, along with the trash, and gave it to us. We have never experienced this anywhere before. See photo below. Not recommended!

Better avoid! There were five of us there in the evening. The restaurant is quite large and also large and looks a bit like a hall covered in brick wallpaper, the tables are carelessly set with canteen cutlery, one of the tables had loose screws as a set. The service came quickly and was friendly. then the menu: around 200 dishes!!! - It becomes difficult to get by with fresh ingredients and without the use of convenience food... unfeasible. The bread (without oil and salt ;) was a kebab flatbread, followed by paste with seafood (easy on the stomach, lukewarm - went back immediately - in addition to paste, it consisted of ready-made sauce with a lot of surimi and 5% of other ingredients (mussels). The pizzas came out nicely wooden tray and looked quite good, but tasted sticky and were not crispy at all, but only a finger high - looked As if from an assembly line, the waitress asked kindly if she should pack up the (plentiful) leftovers, I said: please don't! Finally - as it should be in a pizzeria - an espresso: please never order again - lukewarm broth in a cold cup. We then asked the waitress why, among other things, the cups were cold: "They're just on the shelf and we don't have an espresso machine." Note: there was a small, fully automatic machine behind the counter. The friendly service can't help that!! That was by far the worst pasta and pizza in the Wetterau district, plus a loud waiting room atmosphere and espresso broth. We were really disappointed because before (2-3 years) it was always good.

Good Italian in the middle of Bad Nauheim. There are no parking spaces and you have to search a bit on the street. This pizzeria is known for its huge portions. Even the small pizza is hardly manageable. We always take some of the big pizza home with us! Crazy, the prices are great! The salads are also very rich and tasty and inexpensive. Unfortunately the staff can be a bit moody at times, which I think is a shame. The other day around 8:50 p.m. we wanted an espresso after dinner (4 people) and we were told very rudely “we're closing soon, the machine has been cleaned”... and that's it It's only over at 10 p.m. We paid, there was less tip and then we went for an espresso in the pub around the corner.

I've eaten here many times, but unfortunately the quality has declined. At least when it comes to the steak meat and the tzatziki sauce, I was very disappointed. You couldn't chew the meat properly because it was very tough and the sauce was definitely not a tzatziki sauce but some kind of mayonnaise sauce. So definitely not what I ordered. Either the chef has changed or the quality standards have gone down. Things used to be quite good, so make sure you get back to your old standards with steak and tzatziki sauce.

Tried the Groß Pizza, and it definitely delivers on size! Perfect for 2-3 people with medium appetites, making it good value for the price. The pizza tasted fresh, and the undercarriage was solid—no soggy crust here. The spot has a nice vibe, great for a casual hangout with a friend or a group. While it didn’t blow me away, it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in the mood for something satisfying

Very nice restaurant that was almost full to a few seats. Was given a friendly welcome and was served promptly. My order arrived quickly considering there were so many people. Approximately 25 minutes. Had a large pizza frutti di mare. Maybe there could have been a little more toppings on it at a price of 17 euros but it tasted great and I left the restaurant satisfied and full.... Note for several people it would be better to have a table at mealtime pre-order..... I'll be happy to come back.....

Disgusting establishment, I do not recommend it to anyone! I won't go here again - there were several unpleasant moments. I'm not allergic - but after I ate several pieces of pizza two months ago, I became covered in spots. This has never happened before or since in my life! It feels like they are saving a lot on quality products. It is also alarming that they are constantly looking for staff and no one works there for a long time - i.e. cooks change like gloves - which also does not add optimism. In the establishment itself (inside, by the way, it smells like a factory canteen, and these cheap tablecloths on the tables, terrible cutlery and crockery, lack of napkins - I’ll keep silent about this for now) you can’t sit at a table either - we came with 3 children, they wanted to feed them pizza and more something, but drink something yourself - no, you can’t do that. How is this possible? I'm not hungry - why should I order for a large amount? Are you short of money, or what kind of service is this? Moreover, the order was not for a small amount. They turned around and left. I don’t recommend it to anyone - there are places in the city that are more welcoming.

Our group of five walked in and requested a table, though only three of us planned to eat. The restaurant was nearly empty, with just one table occupied and all others available. However, the staff member informed us that we could only be seated if everyone in our party ordered a meal. This policy might have made sense if the restaurant had been busy, but with almost all the tables vacant, it felt unreasonable. Overall, the experience left us feeling unwelcome and disappointed.

Delicious pizza and great service

We have often ordered from Roma to pick up and it has always been good (also price/performance). Today we ordered again to pick up (1×pasta, 1×pizza). It would be ready after 30 minutes. After 25 minutes we were there, there was already a packaged dish at the counter that had not yet been picked up. Our food wasn't ready yet, but we were a little early. After another 25 minutes (50 minutes after our call) we asked what was next and how long we would have to wait. The lady said our food had just been finished. Among other things, she gave us the packaged dish (where the pasta was inside), which had been sitting at the counter at least since we arrived. I asked how that could be and that it would definitely be cold already. “Unfortunately” the packaging was still hot from below, otherwise I would have checked more closely on site. I'm sitting at home now, the pasta wasn't even lukewarm anymore... I expected something different! Especially how the situation is handled, of course there are days when there is more going on, but open communication helps! Then the customer can decide for themselves whether they come that day or maybe another day.
