Bad food, bad service - I don't need to go again.

We didn't go to the restaurant, but only to Café Davide. We had a latte and cake there, which was very tasty.

We were there on Sunday lunchtime and luckily got a table for two. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We had a calzone and a build-your-own pizza. It tasted absolutely amazing and the price was right too—highly recommended.

Once and never again! We sat outside and waited 60 minutes for two pizzas (without special requests), even though it was quiet. Regulars were obviously arriving on our left and right. They were greeted enthusiastically by the manager, who ignored us. They arrived after us, but they had their food before us. I find a large 0.4 Coke for €6 extremely overpriced. A nasty "surprise price" because the waiter couldn't tell us how much this 0.4 Coke cost when we ordered, and the menu only listed the 0.2. There was heavy smoking all around us, and the smell of fish was strong. Fresh fish should be relatively odorless?!? The tennis court was packed, so we couldn't get any peace and quiet. To top it all off: we had a dish from the neighboring table added to our bill. It's a good thing we insisted on the receipt. Because paying by card isn't an option, and the waiter apparently didn't mind the mistake. It was "only" about 20 euros too much.... The taste of the pizza was okay, nothing special

Yes, as I said, the food was great.

We were very happy to find a supposedly nice restaurant... Upon entering, we were first greeted warmly by the supposed waitress... As she approached, one of us stepped slightly to the side and accidentally bumped into a wine bottle... The shelf was constructed in such a way that many of the wine bottles, stacked on top of each other, had their necks sticking out... The waitress immediately stood there accusing us: oh no, that's an expensive bottle of wine... It felt like she wanted us to pay for the wine bottle... After a short discussion and this reception, we only wanted to pay for our drinks, which we were allowed to order in the café/bar in front and take with us... Then she said: and the wine bottle and did we want something to eat? We said no... Then she got angry and held the expensive bottle of wine in our faces again, saying that we were so cheeky as not to even eat anything here... She should have spent 15 minutes cleaning and had to leave her workplace because of us... Moreover, we hadn't even said sorry, which was definitely not the case... If we had come in and caused a disturbance on purpose, I would have We can understand this behavior... We were also uncomfortable with this mishap, and we could certainly have come to some sort of agreement... But if you put a wine rack there and receive guests like that, in my opinion, you lose the appetite for food and the willingness to compromise...

I only go to Davide's occasionally, but every time I eat there, I'm impressed. The dishes are honest, well-made, and taste truly Italian – no frills, but full of flavor. What I particularly like is that the OMTC regional league tennis team often eats there after training or matches. Some of the guys are from Italy, have traveled extensively around the world, and they always say how good the food is. When even world-traveled Italians smile contentedly and say, "It's like home," that really says it all. For me, it's simply a place where you can eat very well in a beautiful atmosphere – always friendly and with a kitchen that lives up to its promise.

Well... charging almost €20 for oily pasta and then another €5.50 for a Spezi is pretty cheeky... It shouldn't happen again. Apparently the card machine is broken... Everyone can guess what's going on. It's a shame.

We regularly come to Ristorante Da Davide with our team – and we always feel completely at home. The food is always excellent, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasantly relaxed. You can simply feel the passion that goes into the cooking and the work here. It's a place where people enjoy getting together and simply feel at home. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, our visit to the restaurant on June 19th wasn't so great. We had reserved a beautifully set table for five people on the terrace for an anniversary. When we arrived, the terrace was full. Our reserved table wasn't beautifully set, nor was it set at all. The waiter said it was a holiday and very busy! But they knew that beforehand. After ordering, the plates were hastily slammed onto the table, and the cutlery was shoved into our hands. It took a while for the food to arrive. The food was so-so, but nothing more. It was also absurd, however, that payment was only possible in cash. Only the manager is allowed to take the money! There was no indication of this beforehand. If a friend hadn't pointed this out to me, I would have had to look for an ATM. That's simply not acceptable. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it.

Wir waren hier 2x Abendessen und haben auf der Terrasse gesessen. Herrlich. Schönes Ambiente drinnen u draußen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Gute Auswahl an Speisen und Weinen. Köstlich gegessen. Frisch zubereitet. Einfach toll. Tischreservierung empfohlen. Leider keine Kartenzahlung möglich.

We were there on Sunday. The food was good. Unfortunately, orders took forever after the meal, and we had to ask several times for a refund. Both of these conditions made us feel unwelcome. Unfortunately, I tipped too much, which was also not honored. I'm a guest in Germany, and once again, the service was deserted. It's a shame, because the manager was nice and the food was OK. But we won't be back.

We went to Davide's for dinner. The antipasti della Vitrina were so wonderful and truly among the best we've ever had! We also each had an excellent pizza! But what was truly remarkable was the service we received on the beautiful sunny terrace! Our young waitress, in particular, was extremely friendly and attentive. That's what true service should be: fantastic, professional, and very warm. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Davide, keep up the good work!!

This isn't the restaurant at the back, but the café at the front. The service is prompt and friendly. Unfortunately, the opening hours (evenings until 9:00 PM, Sundays until 8:00 PM) aren't ideal for sunny weather. Otherwise, highly recommended!

Das Essen war soweit in Ordnung. Was uns aufgefallen war ist die mangelte Sauberkeit aussen. Die Stühle waren zu 80% mit Vogelkot behaftet. Statt dass der Service mal einen Lappen in die Hand nimmt und wischt wurde lieber nur geschaut was die Kollgin macht. Auch der Chef hat kein Auge für die Mängel.

We reserved a table here in advance. It was a good decision because otherwise we probably wouldn't have gotten a place. The food (twice lasagne) was very tasty and absolutely affordable. The service was very nice and friendly. We will definitely come back when we are on a short vacation in Bad Nauheim again.

There is definitely still room for improvement. While we waited for service, the owner argued with the table next door for almost 10 minutes - not a good first impression. Unfortunately the pizza was just mediocre. The veal liver, on the other hand, was convincing in terms of taste, but the side dishes (frozen hash browns and bland vegetables) were clearly lacking. Another big negative point: card payments have not been possible for months - that is no longer appropriate these days.

The two of us had lunch here and we each had a pizza. My Popeye pizza was very tasty, but unfortunately the garlic was missing but ok. The Quattro Stagioni pizza was also very good. The dough and the seasoning tasted very good. The pepperoni sausage topping was excellent. The service is courteous and nice. Only recommended👍

Sehr netter Besitzer und tolles Personal. Hilfsbereit: wir waren 10 Personen und trotzdem wurden alle unsere Fragen ausführlich beantwortet. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt, nur ein bisschen zu fettig, meiner Meinung nach, aber das ist immer Geschmackssache. Im großen und ganzen waren wir zufrieden mit dem Besuch.

Ein Italiener vom Feinsten! Aus Zeitmangel hatten wir nur einen Rotwein (Montepulciano) und 2x Pizza Quattro staggione bestellt. Und das war ein echter Volltreffer: Eine wirklich gute Pizza herzustellen ist echte Handwerkskunst in Kombination mit einem hochwertigen Pizzaofen. Das scheint hier offensichtlich der Fall zu sein! Die Pizza ist überragend!!! Auch die Gerichte, die wir nebenbei an den Nachbartischen optisch bewundert haben, machten einen geschmackvollen Eindruck. Der sehr sympathische Serviceeindruck hat den ganzen Restaurantbesuch komplett positiv abgerundet! Sehr empfehlenswert!

I'm visiting Bad Nauheim for the first time. We went to the Italian restaurant here for dinner with my Filipino friend. This Italian restaurant is really recommended. I ate well. The service is great. I'll come back here no matter if it's far away for me. Thanks alot!!!!

An absolute insider tip for lovers of Italian cuisine! I loved this restaurant from the first visit. The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, the staff incredibly friendly and attentive. Every bite feels like you're right in Italy. The dishes not only taste excellent, but are also beautifully prepared. The homemade pasta and pizza are particularly recommended – crispy, fresh and simply delicious. I always enjoy coming back and can only warmly recommend this gem!

We were unlucky. The pizza arrived after an hour of waiting. It turned out to be not what we ordered. We didn’t focus on this so as not to spoil our mood and wait another hour. Plus the pizza was burnt! The dessert was also so-so. The staff was very polite but very slow. The cafe was full of people, but that shouldn't be my problem. Perhaps they need to hire more staff... Therefore only 2 stars.

We first ended up in the café and the nice waiter showed us the way to the pizzeria. A good decision! Really the best Italian in Bad Nauheim and the surrounding area. I ordered pasta and pizza (because it was so delicious) both were simply fabulous. Since I like spicy food, the boss even served me his own Mexican chilies at the table. Simply awesome. I can only recommend it.

The service was very attentive, very good. Unfortunately, the cutlery isn't good for cutting pizza, so you had to work hard first. There was no small starter, pizza rolls with garlic butter, for example, which is otherwise common in Italian restaurants. What annoys me a bit now at home, after looking at the bill again, is that requests for garlic (0.50) and a little spicy (1 euro) are charged extra for the pizza. I don't know that either.

Average restaurant with good but not spectacular food. The service is nice, but unfortunately not particularly attentive. You certainly don't eat badly, but you can find other alternatives in Bad Nauheim with (in our opinion) better price/performance ratio.

In contrast to my 40th anniversary at the Sparkasse, the service was top. Always asked if everything was still OK. without being intrusive. At that time, 35 people (colleagues - including the board) sat in front of empty glasses. And most of the money is earned from drinks. They were wearing tuxedos who didn't seem to be in the mood. The girls on July 12th were “on their toes”. Starter platter very good. Personally, my pizza was a bit too soft for me due to a lot of tomato sauce. But that's just my feeling. Dessert, espresso, non-alcoholic wheat, etc. 👍👍👍 The outside area could be made a little nicer, but it was okay. Very comfortable inside. Clear recommendation.

When it comes to food, I can only say that I'm not the type who can judge, but I consider myself a "normal" guy, taking into account the fact that I had pizza, that's my grade. It is not to be avoided!!

The restaurant is very centrally located (at the spa park and next to a parking garage) and is very easy to reach. The selection of food and drinks is quite extensive. Very friendly and attentive but not intrusive staff. Sanitary facilities are spacious and very clean.

Really good Italian food, everything very tasty, good ingredients and above all authentic! Service is attentive and friendly. The ambience inside is appealing, but outside the immediate vicinity of the tennis grounds is a bit disturbing. Because the dishes were really so delicious (there were six of us and we all had different dishes) I recommend it without reservation.

The vegetarian pizza was not to my taste at all. There were hardly any vegetables to be found on it, but an extremely large amount of cheese or analogue cheese? The whole thing was totally greasy. The dough was dry and quite hard Unfortunately, the non-alcoholic beer was not chilled and was at room temperature, in summer... so it was more of a hop tea. Another person with celiac disease was served regular bread with her salad even though she asked for gluten-free options. It is negligent to serve gluten-free food with bread. A crumb of it can cause the worst pain. If you work in a restaurant, you should be aware of food intolerances. This restaurant is not suitable for people with celiac disease. The ladies in service were friendly and the atmosphere was neat and clean. I would find the prices reasonable if we had enjoyed the food.

Ich bin öfter im Da Vide - ich kann dieses Restaurant mit sehr gutem Gefühl empfehlen. Egal ob es ein Geschäftsessen oder ein privater Anlass ist. Ich wurde seither immer sehr gut bedient und die Qualität stimmt. Die Preise sind, wie überall, auch etwas angezogen. Das ist aber in vergleichbaren Restaurants auch so. Die Pizza ist sehr zu empfehlen. Was mir gefällt ist, dass es immer eine Tagesempfehlung gibt.

Price-performance is simply not right. The food tastes “ok” but not “wow”. We had a pizza that unfortunately tasted like a frozen pizza with a few ingredients. Unfortunately, the pasta made from the parmesan loaf tasted like oil, just oily. The beautiful truffle couldn't really work. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant. Unfortunately, the service wasn't very satisfactory either. The staff wasn't attentive, even though we had empty glasses and bottles for a long time. We basically had to ask about everything ourselves. Nobody had asked if we would like something more to drink etc., if necessary the menu for dessert or something similar. What a shame!

The restaurant opens on Saturday at 5:30 p.m., I think all the seats in the restaurant were filled within 30 minutes. No chance without a reservation on the weekend. Food was very tasty and tasty, especially the starter 😋. The service was very attentive despite the many guests.

Hat dermaßen nachgelassen. Nicht mehr zu empfehlen. Stoffservietten verdreckt, Pizza nicht durch und Dressing vom Salat ranzig. Schade, bin jahrelang gerne hin. Heute zum definitiv letzten Mal. Auch Spinnenweben an Decke, Staub auf Bilder und Holzleisten .. nicht wenig.

Wir fahren öfter nach Bad Nauheim. Dann gehen wir gerne in das da Davide essen. Heute hatten wir ein Negativerlebnis. Ein Paar (Stammgäste?) das hinter uns saß, bekam vom Chef ein Grappa auf das Haus angeboten. Obwohl wir die Rechnung immer sehr sehr großzügig nach oben aufrunden, wurde uns weder heute noch bei den vorherigen Lokalbesuchen solcher Service zuteil. Das großzügige aufrunden der Rechnung überlassen wir natürlich zukünftig den Stammkunden, sofern wir dieses Lokal überhaupt noch einmal aussuchen.

Wir waren gestern wieder einmal im Restaurant Da Davide und wurden wie immer nicht enttäuscht. Wir hatten einen Tisch für 10 Personen, sie waren ausreserviert. Aber trotzdem war das Team ein perfekter Gastgeber und entspannt. Das Essen war hochwertig und hat bestens geschmeckt, wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für das sehr gelungene Geburtstags-Essen! Sehr herzliche Menschen, die eine Leidenschaft ausstrahlen, welche sich im leckeren Essen wieder spiegelt. Danke, es war ein schöner Abend und wir kommen wieder. Spätestens wenn ich die fantastische Calzone wieder essen muss.

Habe mich sehr geärgert, das war Abzocke! Für 10 kleine Bruschettas kamen 25,00 € auf die Rechnung. Dort werde ich nicht mehr Essen gehen.

Essen außerordentlich gut, wir waren 10 Leute, Lokal sehr gefüllt, trotzdem super Service, alle auf Zack. Geräuschpekel dort sehr laut, deshalb 1 Sternchen Abzug. Davide, sehr zu empfehlen 👍
