The food was ok, I got the truffle pasta, but it didn't really taste like truffle🙁. The olives and bruschetta were great 😃. I got the chocolate mousse for dessert, and it was amazing. The service was great and the place was cozy.

Nice little pasta restaurant near Alexanderplatz. There were two of us there and we shared a starter and dessert and each enjoyed a main course. Everything was very good, fresh and homemade.

It’s a cozy restaurant. We were more than 12 people and couldn’t get tables which could fit all of us together though booking it almost a month in advance. But there is no doubt that Ravioli was absolutely delicious. But the portions were like for kids. Other people ordered pasta and some other dishes those were of good quality. Even during the weekdays it can get really crowded so better to make the reservation. They accept the card payment. I find the restaurant bit of expensive side.

I love this place, it's comfortable, relax, the wines are good, the atmosphere is wonderful, it's quiet and of high quality, the staff is attentive... Everything I eat is always delicious. It is a very nice place to take a break from shopping right at the beginning of Mitte, you can also choose it for dinner or lunch. It is very enjoyable to sit at the table in front of the door and watch the street for hours.

We had no reservation but had possibility of a table for an our. That was good. We came 1830. We had the gnocchi beetroot and would have liked the bolognese, but was sold out already at 1830. Instead I took pasta with basil tomato and ham. I was so disappointed with that dish. Plain pasta with no flavour tomato’s with no flavour. 2 basil leaves and cold ham ( intended ) on top. I didn’t understand the dish. I can’t recommend the restaurant.

Pasta was overcooked, didn’t like it at all!

Nice atmosphere but for us personally a very chaotic organization. We were a larger group. When making a reservation online, it is stated that for groups of 7 or more, the dishes will be served in bowls. What exactly that means was not explained further. It turned out to be difficult to order on site as three people had to decide on a dish. The waitress openly expressed her frustration with the situation, which didn't necessarily make our experience any nicer, and rolled her eyes in front of us. We were later informed that the standard dish we had chosen, the Bolognese, was sold out. The information would have been important earlier. The pumpkin ravioli was super tasty, but the bowl for 3 people meant 3 pieces of pumpkin and 3 slightly larger ravioli per person. The dishes weren't particularly warm. Truffle pasta was delicious but the portion was far too small. San Lorenzo underwhelming. NOT recommended for larger groups. At least there was an espresso or a drink on the house after the excitement.

Tagliatelle served in starchy clumps, and the ravioli portion was a little miserly, but flavours were on point. Maybe more covers than the kitchen can adequately handle during a rush? Attention to detail suffers. Our waiter believed 'charm' more important than a good job, making mistakes more than I want to list - though he was busy. Bucolic restaurant decor and vibrant, buzzy atmosphere does lots of heavy lifting here to raise up the experience. Despite the faults, it was an enjoyable meal overall.

Good taste. However, I mistakenly only received half a portion during my visit today. When I commented on this matter-of-factly, the service staff dealt with it in a rather unfriendly manner and then, without saying a word, slapped a small portion onto the table to supplement it a few minutes later. Too bad.

Beautiful, friendly designed shop with very friendly staff and great simple food! Simply what you want for a good girls' night out. Be sure to make a reservation as it is also full of other enthusiastic fans. P.s. Truffle pasta is a must! Great value for money for an incredible amount of truffles! 🤩

The quality of service has unfortunately declined significantly over the past year. I used to visit frequently due to the excellent food and relaxed atmosphere, but I no longer plan to return. The staff now seem disinterested in serving customers, and the place could use more frequent cleaning.

The food is good, the drinks too. The interior could be improved. Overall, the price is a bit high for this.

I always come to this res for that whenever I come to Berlin. Balsamic-based, sweet and salty. The one with sundried tomatoes was also my second fav

The Italian restaurant is always full and the entire restaurant smells incredibly good and delicious The service was totally friendly, very attentive and helpful Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the vegan dish, the gnocchi tasted fresh but the sauce (Lorenzo) was nothing special and I didn't like it The finesse of the other dishes should also be transferred to vegan options, so it seems a bit careless and so on, so you just want to have “something vegan” on the menu

Lovely place! Good service and food felt very traditionally Italian. Cannot recommend this place enough. We were looking for a good pasta place, and that’s what we found! Pleasant to sit both inside and outside. The charcuterie board was beautifully presented!

Our food was decent. My wine arrived at room temperature on a 30°C day. I had to ask for ice. The guy who served us was quite nice. After we paid and had already walked 10m away from our table, a young woman, who we had nothing to do with until this point, came up to us and asked us loudly if the low tip was intentional, obviously trying to shame us publicly.

For years...our favorite pasta restaurant in Mitte...pasta with fennel salami and fig...a MUST! The truffle pasta...a culinary delight!! Sit outside...drink good wine and enjoy the hustle and bustle!

Everything is just mediocre. The spaghetti stuck together, but the salad was good. The guests were terribly loud; a pot clattered to the floor in the kitchen every 10 minutes. Eat quickly and leave.

This Italian restaurant offers some of the finest pastaa in Berlin. We had tried without succeeding to get a table for dinner two times. Next time we reached early for lunch and got a table. The ambiance may appear modest but food is superb and delicious. Their Truffle Tagliatelle are a must try. The ravioli vegetarian as well as vegan option are superb. A must try.

We were super satisfied and felt completely at home :) the food was absolutely great, as was the service. Absolute recommendation! Because of a birthday, we were brought a small table firework with dessert to go with the super delicious meal, because the waitress noticed the birthday and suggested it to us (without the birthday child's knowledge, of course ;)), which was really nice! We had a really nice evening :)

I would go again for the truffle pasta, I created a subtle taste experience this way, the pasta was al dente and the truffles tasted like standard quality truffles but all in all very tasty and a good taste that is underlined by the sauce. Biggest problem only card payment, unfortunately I didn't see a big exit sign and it was problematic at first, the employees were friendly except for the waitress who cashed us in, she got a tip of over 10% and no real thank you, all of course.

It was a very nice evening with delicious food, good service and good company. During the unexpected downpour, the awning was extended - thanks again for that! I had the vegan ravioli and ordered some bread with it. The white house wine is also recommended.

Delicious food, but very small portions for around €16

That was nothing. The most positive thing was the wine from the bottle. We had to wait over 3/4 hour for our food, only when we were informed did we get our food (pasta + truffles) within 5 minutes, after two groups of guests came after us and ate before us. The noodles were so soaked in oil that I had to put on a new T-shirt afterwards. The noodles were ok, but the portion was small and mini compared to other guests. The venue's greatest achievement was the cold bottle of wine. There was no apology from the house. The location fits the twisted view of Berlin that confuses dysfunction with charm. Slightly run down and unclean. The volume was similar to an AC/DC concert and the service staff were obviously more interested in interacting with each other than with the guests. The toilets were dirty and there was a lack of toilet paper. In the end we had to pay 65 euros for a disappointing job. Never experienced anything so bad. Not recommendable.

I had heard about this legend of a place before so I really wanted to check it out. So I went. And everything was true! Truly amazing food (truffles for the win), buzzing atmosphere, and the service? Out of this world!!!!!!!!!!! I’d go back just for this amazing experience, delivered by amazing people. If I could… I would…

Absolute gem of a place! We had the fig pasta and the sage gnocchi, and they both blew my mind. The service is super quick and friendly and we even got our very own Dachshund colouring page. Can’t wait to come back.

Cute little restaurant in Berlin Mitte. Spartan, clean, brightly furnished with a few tables outside under an awning. The highlight for me was the tagliatelle from fico. Absolute blast. White wines Gavi and Roero Arneis go well with it. Service was quick and immediate because it was rather reserved. A delicious evening

The restaurant has two rooms and seems quite small at first glance. Nevertheless, many guests fit in. As a result, the background noise was quite loud. We still had a great evening. The food was really good and we also found what we were looking for when it came to the selection of drinks. There's something for everyone. The service was super friendly and everything was served quickly. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of the main course - I ate it so quickly 😅 but the dessert wasn't just an eye-catcher in the photo either

Couldn’t get a table, two women with a baby stole the bar seats from my girlfriend as she was about to sit (you should not be sitting at the bar with a baby where alcohol is being served) and the staff did nothing. Then the host proceeded to tell us we could sit outside in the rain. Will not return.

It’s unfortunate, the food is great. However, the service is the worst. We saw tables arrive after us, get their food, pay and leave before we got our food. When bringing it up with the waitress “your food is great, but your service is terrible”. She reacted with “no it isn’t. You’re wrong. We’re busy.” No empathy was shown, and no apology was made even though we asked for our food two times. Offer some form of empathy, we weren’t expecting anything other than acknowledging. Being sassy and giving us the cold shoulder did not help the situation.

The tagliatelle con fico and San Lorenzo tasted fantastic, as did the ricotta with honeycomb. Unfortunately, everything around it was horrible - after a very long wait, the wrong drinks were brought, which only came after the starter, another 60 minute wait for the main courses, which were prepared twice and came again when we had already finished eating. Unfortunately, prices are significantly too high for the size of the portions.

Yes, it's loud when it's full. Yes, you may have to wait a moment for food. To be honest, neither of these things bothered us because the antipasti alone tore it up. Quality is on point. Pasta too. Perfectly seasoned, just the right portion size. All this from a 4sqm kitchen? Respect. It was a perfect evening for us. Thanks!

Service takes an extremely long time and doesn't try very hard. The food is good. Unfortunately always extremely loud.

The service is much better than the food. The food wasn't very good for all of the people sitting next to me at the table. Requests that had been asked for were answered in the affirmative but then not fulfilled. The pasta was a mess for two of us, so we had to cut it first. My rhubarb spritzer was almost transparent like pure water, which is almost how it tasted.

Generally a cute shop, unfortunately far too little selection for me. Not well suited for people with intolerances as it is not addressed enough. We enjoyed our first visit so much we went again two days later. The food was very good on both occasions. The tagliatelle bolognese was plain and simple, but tasted good, and it was fun to get four plates and a huge bowl of the pasta to share. The service was friendly and nice. I like the look of the place, the music's just a bit loud when the restaurant is not full. Getting a table without a reservation was easy on both occasions.

Unfortunately, overall disappointing food. The tomatoes in the starter had dents and looked half wilted, the gnocchi with sage had no taste at all. It's a shame because it's a nice atmosphere.

One thing in advance: the food was pretty good. Unfortunately, the service is impressively lousy. It feels like there are 10 employees walking around there, but none of them can be identified as such. The waiter forgot half of it, then it took another 45 minutes longer. Paying was also a real act. I can't recommend the restaurant! You can get good food elsewhere, but also in a nicer place.

I actually think the restaurant name is very cute - even if it's so simple. I've eaten here a few times in the evening with friends and it's always advisable to make a reservation in advance. The restaurant is in demand and very busy at peak times. From the operator's point of view, it makes sense to reallocate the tables again after two hours. It should just definitely be communicated in advance and (in my opinion) that is unfortunately not the case with online reservations. The staff is young & hip, very hard-working and attentive. The menu is clear, which I personally think is good, there are various pasta creations, delicious drinks and great desserts to finish off. The portions aren't huge, but I think the quantity is just ok. The prices of the food are normal for the (tourist/scene) area, I would say. The atmosphere in the back room is actually very loud when it's full.

Good! They have a lunch menu for 12.50 with pasta of the day and a salad (it was not written anywhere, so maybe some kind of secret goodie?). We had a tasty putanesca, nothing super special though. Service good and very fast, lovely spot outdoor in the sun. Espresso is good as well!

Overrated and too expensive for just pasta.

Extraordinarily average pasta. Mädchen Italiener has been having an issue in quality over the last several years. It's been around in Berlin for quite a while but has basically turned into an underwhelming Italian tourist spot. The overall point is the food is bland, the ingredients are of ok quality one can tell the pasta is hand made, but that's it. Bland little flavour and very small portions. There are three other Italians within 300 meters which have a much better menu. It's a 2.5/5 place, really don’t know why you would go here. If you’re passionate about food then this is not your place

Noise like in a canteen. Completely overcrowded, no atmosphere. Very clear menu (spaghetti, ravioli, gnocchi, tagliatelle). Wine ordered not available. Portions are also very clear, but very expensive. I don't understand why you pay €16 for a small portion of pasta. In addition, the noodles were almost cold, but nicely sticky - as if they had been standing around in the kitchen for some time. Anyone who can cook halfway can prepare it better/more refined. A single waitress for the inside and outside area - was of course correspondingly stressed. A typical middle-of-the-road hipster thing. No one needs it (apart from the hipsters and tourists who have moved here). Only the name is cute.

The food is delicious and the waiter was super friendly. Ober speaks both German and English. We had a burrata starter, deliciously prepared with tomatoes and olives. The main course was also very good. It is a restaurant with smaller spaces where the tables are close together, so it feels quite busy. The tables also have a table leg that you can touch with slightly longer legs.

The Mädchenitaliener restaurant is an absolute pearl. The pasta is to die for! Super tasty, balanced and very good portion sizes. The antipasti and olives are delicious. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back! Keep it up!

Unfortunately, after 20 years of really nice evenings, now a bitter disappointment. We were asked to vacate our table after exactly 2 hours and without warning. We have now learned that double bookings are standard in many restaurants - but please let us know when booking. The classic pasta with figs contained exactly 2 pieces of fig and was also disappointing.

Unfortunately, this was by far the worst truffle pasta I have ever eaten. The pasta only tasted oily, the truffles smelled delicious, but you couldn't taste anything at all. We also had to wait quite a long time for it, even though most of the tables had already had their food and the kitchen wasn't overloaded.

I went here with a large group, and was let down by the pasta that I had. The choice I made was a truffle pasta, and saying that I was disappointed, is an understatement. I was unable to finish my meal, although I went in starving. The pasta wasn’t salted, and overall the dish lacked flavour. I asked others around me to try it, and they agreed with my opinion of the meal. I really enjoyed the ambience and the service was friendly, so I am willing to someday give it another shot, and try another pasta maybe.
