It has become a classic for the Berlin city center - just a must to stop and eat -

Everything is just mediocre. The spaghetti stuck together, but the salad was good. The guests were terribly loud; a pot clattered to the floor in the kitchen every 10 minutes. Eat quickly and leave.

For years...our favorite pasta restaurant in Mitte...pasta with fennel salami and fig...a MUST! The truffle pasta...a culinary delight!! Sit outside...drink good wine and enjoy the hustle and bustle!

This Italian restaurant offers some of the finest pastaa in Berlin. We had tried without succeeding to get a table for dinner two times. Next time we reached early for lunch and got a table. The ambiance may appear modest but food is superb and delicious. Their Truffle Tagliatelle are a must try. The ravioli vegetarian as well as vegan option are superb. A must try.

We were super satisfied and felt completely at home :) the food was absolutely great, as was the service. Absolute recommendation! Because of a birthday, we were brought a small table firework with dessert to go with the super delicious meal, because the waitress noticed the birthday and suggested it to us (without the birthday child's knowledge, of course ;)), which was really nice! We had a really nice evening :)

I would go again for the truffle pasta, I created a subtle taste experience this way, the pasta was al dente and the truffles tasted like standard quality truffles but all in all very tasty and a good taste that is underlined by the sauce. Biggest problem only card payment, unfortunately I didn't see a big exit sign and it was problematic at first, the employees were friendly except for the waitress who cashed us in, she got a tip of over 10% and no real thank you, all of course.

It was a very nice evening with delicious food, good service and good company. During the unexpected downpour, the awning was extended - thanks again for that! I had the vegan ravioli and ordered some bread with it. The white house wine is also recommended.

Delicious food, but very small portions for around €16

That was nothing. The most positive thing was the wine from the bottle. We had to wait over 3/4 hour for our food, only when we were informed did we get our food (pasta + truffles) within 5 minutes, after two groups of guests came after us and ate before us. The noodles were so soaked in oil that I had to put on a new T-shirt afterwards. The noodles were ok, but the portion was small and mini compared to other guests. The venue's greatest achievement was the cold bottle of wine. There was no apology from the house. The location fits the twisted view of Berlin that confuses dysfunction with charm. Slightly run down and unclean. The volume was similar to an AC/DC concert and the service staff were obviously more interested in interacting with each other than with the guests. The toilets were dirty and there was a lack of toilet paper. In the end we had to pay 65 euros for a disappointing job. Never experienced anything so bad. Not recommendable.

I had heard about this legend of a place before so I really wanted to check it out. So I went. And everything was true! Truly amazing food (truffles for the win), buzzing atmosphere, and the service? Out of this world!!!!!!!!!!! I’d go back just for this amazing experience, delivered by amazing people. If I could… I would…

Absolute gem of a place! We had the fig pasta and the sage gnocchi, and they both blew my mind. The service is super quick and friendly and we even got our very own Dachshund colouring page. Can’t wait to come back.

amaaaazzziinnggg pasta for sure one of my favorite! 😍Always full of customers, def need a reservation or go early like us at 5pm, there was a super friendly waitress taking care of us (she looks like mini jennifer lawrence), my favorite dish was the “tagliatelle con fico”, the pasta is so flavorful and rich, I could eat that everyday!

Cute little restaurant in Berlin Mitte. Spartan, clean, brightly furnished with a few tables outside under an awning. The highlight for me was the tagliatelle from fico. Absolute blast. White wines Gavi and Roero Arneis go well with it. Service was quick and immediate because it was rather reserved. A delicious evening

worst pasta ive ever eaten. it was more like oil with pasta. only had two bites and felt full and grossed out afterwards.

The restaurant has two rooms and seems quite small at first glance. Nevertheless, many guests fit in. As a result, the background noise was quite loud. We still had a great evening. The food was really good and we also found what we were looking for when it came to the selection of drinks. There's something for everyone. The service was super friendly and everything was served quickly. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of the main course - I ate it so quickly 😅 but the dessert wasn't just an eye-catcher in the photo either

Couldn’t get a table, two women with a baby stole the bar seats from my girlfriend as she was about to sit (you should not be sitting at the bar with a baby where alcohol is being served) and the staff did nothing. Then the host proceeded to tell us we could sit outside in the rain. Will not return.

A nice place to eat, good flavor in the food, the only thing that can improve is the attention from the Italian waiter, very hostile and rude

It’s unfortunate, the food is great. However, the service is the worst. We saw tables arrive after us, get their food, pay and leave before we got our food. When bringing it up with the waitress “your food is great, but your service is terrible”. She reacted with “no it isn’t. You’re wrong. We’re busy.” No empathy was shown, and no apology was made even though we asked for our food two times. Offer some form of empathy, we weren’t expecting anything other than acknowledging. Being sassy and giving us the cold shoulder did not help the situation.

The tagliatelle con fico and San Lorenzo tasted fantastic, as did the ricotta with honeycomb. Unfortunately, everything around it was horrible - after a very long wait, the wrong drinks were brought, which only came after the starter, another 60 minute wait for the main courses, which were prepared twice and came again when we had already finished eating. Unfortunately, prices are significantly too high for the size of the portions.

Yes, it's loud when it's full. Yes, you may have to wait a moment for food. To be honest, neither of these things bothered us because the antipasti alone tore it up. Quality is on point. Pasta too. Perfectly seasoned, just the right portion size. All this from a 4sqm kitchen? Respect. It was a perfect evening for us. Thanks!

Service takes an extremely long time and doesn't try very hard. The food is good. Unfortunately always extremely loud.

The service is much better than the food. The food wasn't very good for all of the people sitting next to me at the table. Requests that had been asked for were answered in the affirmative but then not fulfilled. The pasta was a mess for two of us, so we had to cut it first. My rhubarb spritzer was almost transparent like pure water, which is almost how it tasted.

Generally a cute shop, unfortunately far too little selection for me. Not well suited for people with intolerances as it is not addressed enough. We enjoyed our first visit so much we went again two days later. The food was very good on both occasions. The tagliatelle bolognese was plain and simple, but tasted good, and it was fun to get four plates and a huge bowl of the pasta to share. The service was friendly and nice. I like the look of the place, the music's just a bit loud when the restaurant is not full. Getting a table without a reservation was easy on both occasions.

Unfortunately, overall disappointing food. The tomatoes in the starter had dents and looked half wilted, the gnocchi with sage had no taste at all. It's a shame because it's a nice atmosphere.

Unfortunately I didn't like the food, it wasn't value for money for me. For a restaurant that specializes in pasta, I was pretty disappointed with it. The ambience was ok, it blended in with the area.

Lunch break here with a mixed salad and a plate of bresaola and parmesan. Absolutely recommended, generous portion, fast and smiling service. Comfortable environment

One thing in advance: the food was pretty good. Unfortunately, the service is impressively lousy. It feels like there are 10 employees walking around there, but none of them can be identified as such. The waiter forgot half of it, then it took another 45 minutes longer. Paying was also a real act. I can't recommend the restaurant! You can get good food elsewhere, but also in a nicer place.

I actually think the restaurant name is very cute - even if it's so simple. I've eaten here a few times in the evening with friends and it's always advisable to make a reservation in advance. The restaurant is in demand and very busy at peak times. From the operator's point of view, it makes sense to reallocate the tables again after two hours. It should just definitely be communicated in advance and (in my opinion) that is unfortunately not the case with online reservations. The staff is young & hip, very hard-working and attentive. The menu is clear, which I personally think is good, there are various pasta creations, delicious drinks and great desserts to finish off. The portions aren't huge, but I think the quantity is just ok. The prices of the food are normal for the (tourist/scene) area, I would say. The atmosphere in the back room is actually very loud when it's full.

Good! They have a lunch menu for 12.50 with pasta of the day and a salad (it was not written anywhere, so maybe some kind of secret goodie?). We had a tasty putanesca, nothing super special though. Service good and very fast, lovely spot outdoor in the sun. Espresso is good as well!

Overrated and too expensive for just pasta.

Extraordinarily average pasta. Mädchen Italiener has been having an issue in quality over the last several years. It's been around in Berlin for quite a while but has basically turned into an underwhelming Italian tourist spot. The overall point is the food is bland, the ingredients are of ok quality one can tell the pasta is hand made, but that's it. Bland little flavour and very small portions. There are three other Italians within 300 meters which have a much better menu. It's a 2.5/5 place, really don’t know why you would go here. If you’re passionate about food then this is not your place

Noise like in a canteen. Completely overcrowded, no atmosphere. Very clear menu (spaghetti, ravioli, gnocchi, tagliatelle). Wine ordered not available. Portions are also very clear, but very expensive. I don't understand why you pay €16 for a small portion of pasta. In addition, the noodles were almost cold, but nicely sticky - as if they had been standing around in the kitchen for some time. Anyone who can cook halfway can prepare it better/more refined. A single waitress for the inside and outside area - was of course correspondingly stressed. A typical middle-of-the-road hipster thing. No one needs it (apart from the hipsters and tourists who have moved here). Only the name is cute.

The food is delicious and the waiter was super friendly. Ober speaks both German and English. We had a burrata starter, deliciously prepared with tomatoes and olives. The main course was also very good. It is a restaurant with smaller spaces where the tables are close together, so it feels quite busy. The tables also have a table leg that you can touch with slightly longer legs.

The Mädchenitaliener restaurant is an absolute pearl. The pasta is to die for! Super tasty, balanced and very good portion sizes. The antipasti and olives are delicious. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back! Keep it up!

Unfortunately, after 20 years of really nice evenings, now a bitter disappointment. We were asked to vacate our table after exactly 2 hours and without warning. We have now learned that double bookings are standard in many restaurants - but please let us know when booking. The classic pasta with figs contained exactly 2 pieces of fig and was also disappointing.

Very tasty noodles, average prices, delicious wine. Family restaurant, full seating, a lot of people.

Unfortunately, this was by far the worst truffle pasta I have ever eaten. The pasta only tasted oily, the truffles smelled delicious, but you couldn't taste anything at all. We also had to wait quite a long time for it, even though most of the tables had already had their food and the kitchen wasn't overloaded.

I went here with a large group, and was let down by the pasta that I had. The choice I made was a truffle pasta, and saying that I was disappointed, is an understatement. I was unable to finish my meal, although I went in starving. The pasta wasn’t salted, and overall the dish lacked flavour. I asked others around me to try it, and they agreed with my opinion of the meal. I really enjoyed the ambience and the service was friendly, so I am willing to someday give it another shot, and try another pasta maybe.

Cool little Italien restaurant with local and hip crowd. They cook in the same room so you can smell parmesan a lot... The antipasti was good but not special. The Angel hair pasta was too thin and Not Al dente enough. The portion was only ok. Wouldn't have been enough if I hadn't had a starter.

Quite disappointed with the vegan options. It didn’t feel really authentic Italian (odd combo of texture) and lacked flavour. The service was average.

Welcome to Italy! Or perhaps more like what you would imagine in a small Italian restaurant in the suburbs of an Italian metropolis. Little space, hustle and bustle, happy faces, wonderful food. The air is humid with steam from the pasta pots and service staff make their way to the tables with full trays. The guests are delighted with fresh pasta variations beyond the familiar and the taste surprises that they bring with them. You should definitely go here to eat!

A pity! Things used to be better here... I was happy that we got a place on Saturday without a reservation. But unfortunately the disappointment was great in the end, because it used to be better here! 1. First the bread was forgotten, which is placed on the table before the main course. Then the waitress forgot the olive oil and vinegar. Then the salt was missing. We also ordered olives as a starter. Before the olives arrived, the main course was already on the table. So no more olives...and a mood downer. 2. For the main course we ordered “Truffle Pasta” and “Bolognese”. Then, 5 minutes after we placed the order, we were informed that the Bolognese was unfortunately already "out". Just before 7 p.m.? I then decided on "Truffle Pasta" and the waitress replied with "Yes, that's a great decision! You won't go wrong with that!" ... puff cake. 3. Everything happened quite quickly, so we got the feeling that we shouldn't stay here too long. 4. Then the main course (truffle pasta) and a real disappointment. It didn't taste like anything except some butter. Don't worry, I've eaten this dish many times, but it's definitely not a flagship dish for the store (anymore). In addition, our portions varied extremely from “very little” to “very much”. After a few bites I no longer had any appetite because it really just tasted like cooked pasta. 5. When the drinks were finished, no one noticed. That's not something I would necessarily list here, but it was even more annoying when the waitresses were completely overwhelmed and didn't pay any attention. Why didn't we say anything? Not worth the effort. The day was already stressful enough. That's why our "faux pas" is freely available here in the hope that you can do something with this feedback. Unfortunately for us today it was: get up quickly, go away and best note this visit as the last visit.

We were here by chance. The food was very tasty. Small but nice card, our wishes were taken into account. My parents' shared dish was appetizingly served on two plates. We were in the internal room at the main time. It was a bit cramped and not entirely quiet because of all the people. But that was clear beforehand, so we consciously went for it and were anything but disappointed with the rest. We'll definitely come back.

Delicious and beautifully prepared pasta dishes. Personally, I don't really get full from 10 gnocchi and I think the price is ridiculous, but it was definitely delicious!

It was very good here in the girls' Italian restaurant today. Everything was perfect: buffalo mozzarella with figs as a starter, truffle pasta, pasta with fennel salami and anchovies. Perfect portion size. Great value for money. The friendly service, the very good house wine and the Pilsner Urquell on tap made the stop perfect. Thanks!

An Italian in an atypical restaurant :) A selection of dishes that can often also be offered vegetarian. Reservations are recommended, especially for the evening.

Very tasty, nice atmosphere and the service was lovingly attentive. We each had the truffle pasta, shared a bottle of white wine and water and for dessert we had panna cotta and chocolate mousse.

The girls' Italian restaurant is a classic in Mitte. The quality of the food is consistently good. The pasta dishes are a little different than the typical Italian (pasta with figs or bressaola, highly recommended). The truffle pasta is cheap, but you can get it better elsewhere. The coolness factor among guests and service staff is naturally high here based on the area (or would like to be). However, the service staff has become so cool over time that a smile or friendly words are no longer enough. It's a shame, otherwise it would be 5 stars.

amazing pasta, i had the one with figs it was the first time i ate such a dish, all the flavors were perfectly mastered ! The restaurant was very enjoyable, the ambiance was perfect for a night with friends. The staff was also very welcoming and we’re making sure everything was good. So I definitely recommend the place !

Ein unvergesslicher Abend im Mädchenitaliener Bei unserem Besuch im Mädchenitaliener in Berlin wurden wir sofort von der herzlichen Atmosphäre und dem stilvollen Ambiente verzaubert. Die Speisekarte bot eine super Auswahl an italienischen Köstlichkeiten, die jedes unserer Gerichte zu einem kulinarischen Höhepunkt machten. Besonders beeindruckend war die Trüffel- und Maronenpasta die ein echtes Geschmackserlebnis darstellte. Was uns ebenso begeisterte, war der aufmerksame und freundliche Service. Das Personal war nicht nur äußerst hilfsbereit bei der Auswahl unserer Gerichte, sondern sorgte auch dafür, dass wir uns rundum wohl und geschätzt fühlten. Mädchenitaliener ist mehr als nur ein Restaurant; es ist ein Ort, der die Liebe zur italienischen Küche in jedem Detail widerspiegelt. Ein Muss für jeden, der in Berlin nach einem unvergesslichen Essenserlebnis sucht.

Taste, service and atmosphere was very good. The only minus was the price compared to the portion. But the taste was a 10/10. I had the rote Beete Gnocchi.

It was such a lovely experience. The setting is intimate and the food is fantastic.

Vorab: das Ambiente ist aufgrund der Schlichtheit ganz nett und auch das Servicepersonal ist höflich und zuvorkommend. Aber halt auch insgesamt nichts Besonderes. Hinsichtlich des Essens hatten wir schon mehr erwartet, war uns dieses Restaurant doch von Dritten empfohlen worden - gerade als Pastarestaurant. Als ich dann jedoch meine Tagliatelle bekam, war ich schon sehr enttäuscht. Diese sollten mit einer Tomatensauce inklusive Basilikum und Knoblauch sowie Parmaschinken serviert werden, und stattdessen bekam ich die besagte Pasta mit ein paar Tomaten in Tomatenbrühe, einer Knoblauchzehe am Tellerrand und ein paar Scheiben Parmaschinken. Die Pasta konnte kaum mit den anderen Zutaten zusammen gegessen werden, da es halt eben keine Soße im eigentlichen Sinne war, was sehr schade war. Folglich habe ich im Wesentlichen die pure Pasta gegessen, unterbrochen von einigen Stücken Tomate und Schinken. War leider nicht wirklich das, was ich mir vorgestellt hatte. Der als Vorspeise bestellte gemischte Salat war überdies von Balsamico förmlich ertränkt, sodass man leider die anderen Zutaten nicht schmecken konnte. Die außer dem Hauswein ebenfalls als offen angebotenen weiteren zwei Rotweine waren nicht vorrätig, und es war leider nicht möglich, einen der angebotenen Flaschenweine als halbe Flasche anzubieten. Haben dann den Hauswein genommen, was wir besser gelassen hätten, denn der schmeckte quasi nach gar nichts. Schade drum - hatten uns aufgrund der bisherigen Empfehlungen eigentlich auf ein gutes Essen gefreut.

Gutes Essen. Aber nach 2 Stunden sollten wir den reservierten Tisch verlassen, weil er erneut vergeben wurde, was vorher nicht kommuniziert wurde.

Diese Bewertung fällt mir schwer. Vor allem, da ich beim Essen wirklich Sterne abziehen muss. Ich finde es gut, dass die Auswahl nicht so groß ist, vor allem, da ich Pasta Fan bin. Aber diese Nudeln haben einfach in zieviel Öl gebadet. Die auf dem Fotos abgebildeten Nudeln waren noch ok, aber auch hier hätte schon weniger gereicht. Die Vorspeise war so süß, dass sie eher als Dessert gereicht werden sollte. Ganz klar Geschmackssache, aber für mich wohl nicht nochmal.

Es ist rustikal. Die Küche ist einfach aber sehr liebevoll und wirklich gut. Die Preise sind richtig fair und das ganz hat Charme. Kein Nobelitaliener im Szeneviertel. Aber ein Ristorante zum Wohlfühlen.

Wir hatten einen gelungenen Abend, die Nudeln werden selbstgemacht und es gibt nur ausgewählte Gerichte in einer kleinen Menükarte. Insgesamt war es etwas laut aber bei der Größe innendrin total okay. Wir hatten Glück, ohne Reservierung noch am Tresen einen Platz zu bekommen. Gerne wieder, leckere Bolo!

Sehr schönes kleines Restaurant im italienischen Altbaustil. Die Getränke waren auch super gemischt. Leider kam das Essen nur in sehr kleiner Portion & das für einen hohen Preis. Vegane Ravioli, die ich bestellt hatte, kamen ohne Soße nur in Nudelwasser und Zitronensaft sehr pfad und wenig Belag. Der Kellner (Henk) war sehr unsympathisch, bedankte sich nicht für Trinkgeld & ging ohne sich zu verabschieden als meine Begleitung daraufhin kein Trinkgeld gab.

Alles Top. An einem Wochenende 2x vor Ort... das sagt alles.

Wenn der Laden voll ist, wird es schnell laut. Hat mich persönlich aber nicht gestört. Die Ravioli mit Maroni waren gut, der Service durchweg sehr gut. Reservierung empfohlen.

wir haben im vorfeld reserviert, wurden dann auch nett empfangen und die bestellung wurde zügig aufgenommen trotz vollem laden. doch dann wendete sich alles, ich hatte gnocci mit pesto bestellt und bekam trockene angebratene gnoccis mit ein paar grünen getrockneten blättern drin. nach ein paar bissen merkte ich dass es nicht stimmen kann und fragte ob das der richtigkeit entspricht. die bedingung (die meine bestellung aufgenommen hat) nahm den teller sofort weg und brachte mir nachher einen neuen diesmal mit pesto. ich war schon wieder am essen dann kam eine andere bedienung und fragte micj ob ich die gnoccis gekocjt oder gebraten haben will (???) man merkt dass die absprache kaum vorhanden war. essen war aber echt sehr lecker bis auf das fauxpas mit meiner bestellung

Cute candle lit vibe. But 1.5 hours for a starter and pasta is too long for a week day (Tuesday) lunch in mitte. The ricotta honey starter was outrageous. Powdered sugar over half a honey combs I’ll appreciate them trying to innovate with the fig pasta, but it felt like eating syrup. Sweet and sticky. €80 for 3 people lunch. Only water. Too expensive for quality.

Der kleine Italiener an der Ecke! Wenn man Lust auf Antipasti und Pasta hat... Dann ist man hier absolut richtig. Es Schmeckt unglaublich lecker und ist extrem schön angerichtet! Perfekt für ein Erstes Date. Der Laden ist abends immer sehr gut besucht, deshalb kann es hier auch zu Wartezeiten kommen. Aber wenn man weiß worauf man sich freuen kann, lohnt sich jede Minute. Zwischen 13 bis 17 Uhr ist es in der Regel weniger besucht. Die verschiedenen Pasta Gerichte sind alle hervorragend! Man kann hier keine falsche Wahl treffen. Die Desserts sind sehr üppig und zum dahin schmelzen. Preis Leistung stimmt auch absolut! Hier ist man richtig und geht mit einem Lächeln Nachhause 🤩 ABSOLUTE TOP Empfehlung! Gerne wieder 🙂

Уютный ресторанчик в одном из самых лучший районов Берлина. Если Вы хотите вкусную пасту, то Вам сюда! Готовят тут божественно, просто пальчики оближешь. Единственное, что можно улучшить- это качество обслуживание. Чуть больше обращать внимание на гостей и улыбок , и тогда это заведение будет 5 из 5.

Einfach der beste Italiener in meiner Nachbarschaft. Kleine Karte, guter Hauswein, netter Service.

Pasta with figs is great, a bit too sweet tho. Beetroot gnocchi is great thing to try.

Ich finde das Restaurant sehr schön und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und der Service ist sehr freundlich. Die Vorspeisen waren wirklich so gut, gerade das Sauerteigbrot mit Ricotta und der Honigwabe- einfach Hammer. Die Burrata war ebenfalls lecker. Die Nudelgerichte hingegen fanden wir weniger gut und preislich auch nicht gerechtfertigt. Die Trüffelpasta war sehr trocken und die Pasta mit Feige schmeckte als würde man Nudeln mit Marmelade essen. Zudem haben die Getränke zur Stoßzeit seeehr lang gebraucht. Ich würde trotzdem wiederkommen- man sitzt wirklich sehr nett.

Waiting to be served is common thing in this place. It’s mine second visit and finally I’ve get something to eat in here. Unfortunately the expectation was higher than the service and taste of food. Have to catch the waiter to make an order even though there were no people in there. The pasta is mediocre and the menu says one ingredients in the reality you get different thing. Ich fand das Essen super, der Service war teilweise etwas überfordert aber total nett und es ist schon sehr eng. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass es vielen auch super gut gefällt.

Kritik der Vorredner*innen kann ich nur bedingt nachvollziehen. Der Laden ist einfach nur mega sympathisch, authentisch und das Essen vom allerfeinsten. Service absolut in Action (weil es echt voll war), aber immer wieder aufmerksam und freundlich. Tagliatelle mit Feigen echt mal was anderes und saulecker. Klar ist es hektisch und voll und laut, aber genau das passt echt hierher. Lob an das Team, starke Leistung. Besser vorher (online) reservieren. Wir kommen wieder.

Süßer kleiner begehrter Italiener in der Ecke - auf jeden Fall ein Tisch Reservieren - ansonsten kann es schwierig werden sowie Mittags als auch Abends. Karte sehr übersichtlich gehalten / verschiedene Pasta Gerichte - diese allerdings sehr schmackhaft und gute Produkte als Grundlage. Jeweils 1 Stern Abzug - Essen hat etwas Würze gefehlt/ Service langsam/ Ambiente sehr Laut...

Bedienung leider vergesslich und deswegen langsam, die Trüffelnudeln sind leider in einer schweren käsehaltigen Sauce, die Trüffel laufen Gefahr vom Winde verweht zu werden … und die Tische außen sind klebrig, weil sie offenbar immer nur schnell abgewischt werden, aber nie wirklich gereinigt werden.

Had great vegan tortellini and gnocchi, not cheap but really delicious.

Mega gut. Jedesmal wenn wir in Berlin muss ein Besuch sein! Richtig tolles und leckeres Essen! Tolles Ambiente! Die Pasta mit Feigen und Mohn ist der Hammer ! Immer wieder !
