Our favorite Italian restaurant in Spandau! We've been going here for many years. We love Saturday mornings, but also regularly in the evenings. The service is (usually) excellent, attentive, friendly, and very helpful. The food is consistently delicious, requests are catered for, and the pizza is the best, as I've found time and time again when comparing! There's always an additional menu for seasonal dishes. Plus, many Italians are customers themselves, which adds a very special touch to the atmosphere!

The food was super, super delicious. The atmosphere felt cozy, relaxed, and the server was extremely friendly and enthusiastic. We had to wait a bit because we were forgotten when paying, but it wasn't too bad. Definitely recommended if you're already in Spandau's old town :)

Centrally located in the heart of Spandau's old town, this Italian restaurant invites you to linger. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. A typically Italian ambiance, a bit dated but still charming. Service was attentive and quick. The bruschetta was great! The lasagna and vegetable pasta were also delicious. You can pay with cash or debit card. Some background music would have been perfect :)

We have been satisfied customers for years. Today, September 13, 2025, we were particularly satisfied. We had Spaghettie Frutti de Mare. The spaghetti was very underseasoned, we had to search for the seafood but couldn't find it, there was no seasoning, no broth, it was missing tomatoes, a little garlic, some parsley, and olive oil for flavor. We took the food home. When the food was in front of us, I thought, what's up with that? No Italian cooks like that. The next day, we brought the food back to show what had been cooked for us. The chef was very uncooperative and said we didn't need to order more; he wouldn't cook for us. He said he would have added 6 extra scampi. There wasn't a single scambi in the meal, it was shrimp. He doesn't even know the difference between scambi and shrimp. We got our money back; I would have preferred a delicious meal. This arrogant and bossy attitude from an employee gives me something to think about. What a shame, 25 years of our Our regular pizza is no longer available. We've found a new pizza place that's really good. The waiter, Stefano, was always very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you for that, all the best to you! I don't know what the boss says. First of all, I don't need to lie because the chef will deny everything. For me, there's only one thing: he couldn't cook our food, but the other chefs could.

I ordered spaghetti carbonara for lunch, and it was really bad. The pasta was completely watery instead of creamy and tasted of absolutely nothing—honestly, it was disgusting. This isn't what carbonara should be like. The waiters were friendly, but there was no real compensation at the end. A bitter disappointment for me.

2022: Here you'll find the best pizza in Germany. We always enjoy coming back and are thrilled by the typical Italian hospitality. We'll even drive 30 minutes to Spandau for that. See you soon... Update from September 12, 2025: It was a pleasure to visit you again... still the best pizzas 😋😋😋

The pizza wasn't crispy enough for me, but the toppings were good. Very friendly service, but the flies were a real nuisance.

The food is fantastic. The prices are good. The outside lacks a bit of Italian flair. The inside is a bit dated. The service is super nice, but unfortunately, there's no concept at all. You wait a long time for an order to be taken. And even reordering is difficult. They don't even ask if everything is okay or if you need anything else. That makes it feel a bit tiring. But the food is enough to make us want to go back ;-).

I ate a capacio. I thought the meat was already bland and thought, "Hmm, that's a shame." Afterward, I had pasta with salmon, which was very tasty and I can recommend it. My colleague had the same main course and bruschetta before that, which was very tasty. I would have given it a 4.5 up until this point, but we had to wait a very long time for everything, and I think that happens a lot here, so I decided on 3 stars.

Pizzas are very tasty and Pasta was okay. There is one guy who isn’t friendly at all. The rest were nice.

Das Essen war lecker, vor allem der Vorspeisenteller (siehe Foto). Aber als es ans Bezahlen ging, klemmte es. Der Kellner kam ewig nicht, rannte an unserem Tisch vorbei, aber wir mussten zum Schiff, also ging ich rein an den Tresen. Der Kellner gestikulierte, offensichtlich verärgert, keine Ahnung warum. Schließlich kassierte sein Kollege uns ab. Schade, wir hätten gerne eine höhere Bewertung gegeben.

Very friendly, attentive staff. We only asked in the afternoon whether a reservation was necessary for the evening. The answer was no; when we arrived in the evening, a table for two had already been reserved.

It was OK - we were there on vacation, but we also had to wait an hour for our food. I think they thought we were picking something up. Pizza is okay for the price. Drinks are quite expensive, though.

Space was made. The order was delivered very quickly. Service was very friendly.

The antipasti starter platter was varied and delicious. The bread wasn't your usual boring baguette, but rather fluffy and flavorful. Very friendly and fast service.

After a negative experience at another restaurant, we went to La Bottega where we received a very friendly welcome. Despite it being Boxing Day, the food was on the table quickly and was very tasty. If you are looking for a good Italian, La Bottega is the right place. We will definitely come back ;)

Unfortunately, disappointment...dirty table (tablecloth covered in crumbs and sauces/grease splashes). Waited for service...no one came...so I changed my mind and left. Too bad----according to the reviews, the food is supposed to be good.

We came from the street and went in. Super friendly waiters. Got a table quickly. Ordered and got food and drinks fairly quickly. Really good food. Large portions, so much so that we couldn't finish it. Then of course we had to pay. And here came the problem "the machine" wouldn't take Master Card. We tried several Master Cards. So other guests had the same problem. They only accept cash and Visa Card. (it doesn't say anywhere) That's not right. So therefore only 3 stars for service. Quite a shame for the restaurant. That means we won't be coming back.

Don't eat here under any circumstances! The food is awful. The waiters looked around like they were on drugs and behaved aggressively toward our table! I can't recommend it!!!

We had a quick bite to eat here. It was delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection, the liver perfect. Followed by a delicious tiramisu. A recommendation in the pedestrian zone.

This has definitely been my favorite Italian restaurant for many years. The food is excellent, the Chianti is delicious, and the bread, which you can also buy on its own, is crisp and flavorful. I've never eaten such a delicious pizza, and the salad is also super fresh. If you're a little peckish, I recommend the tomato soup; the cappuccino afterward rounds out the meal. The service is very attentive and friendly. The only thing that loses a star is the prices; they would increase them by €1.50-€3.00, which is noticeable in your wallet.

In the old town of Spandau the Italian restaurant!!!. An institution for me for over 20 years. It is centrally located, has a wonderful outdoor area and is also cozy and attractive with its interior design. All food is delicious and tasty and served quickly. The service is friendly and helpful. The price=performance ratio is absolutely correct and appropriate

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. When I went to pay, I was suddenly informed that no credit cards or Visa debit cards were accepted - this was neither signposted nor mentioned before. I had to leave the restaurant to withdraw cash. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was shown to a table where he sat and only passively acknowledged my complaint - no apology, no explanation. We live in 2025 – it felt like a trip back in time. I have already asked my hotel to stop recommending this restaurant and informed my network. We come to Spandau regularly for business - but we definitely won't be coming back here.

Cozy, very nice service and the wine was surprisingly cheap considering the slightly high prices for the food.

Personally, I’d much rather dine somewhere with average food but warm, friendly service. Unfortunately, this place didn’t deliver on either front. The Carbonara wasn’t very tasty, and the staff came off as impatient and unfriendly. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Very tasty, had pizza and pasta. Carbonara here is more like the original, the pizzas here are delicious and very fresh. The crust as tender as a baguette, I was very amazed. Food came after 7-10 minutes, drinks after 3 minutes. Friendly service. Big praise to the service and the kitchen. PS: (we were only in the restaurant at 10:30 p.m. on Women's Day and there were only a few tables occupied, so I can't judge what it's like here when the hut is full)

The food here is so good...you'll love coming over from Tempelhof every now and then! The calzone is highly recommended!

Came here from belfast,northern ireland for a competition and came here 2 NIGHTS IN A ROW for dinner it was that good! The waiters welcomed us and tried their best with english which I appreciate. I got a tomato based pasta which was OMG…A M A Z I N G. Good prices and the waiters were so kind and welcomed our huge competition team with smiles and good service. If you live in berlin or are just visiting the La Boggeta is the restaurant to go to! (P.s im very sorry to the waiter who had an argument to my teammate over carbonara without the cheese)

If you get a frozen molded schnitzel for €17.00 with a really disgusting consistency and the only apology you get is I'm sorry, I think that's cheeky. We always enjoyed eating there but I think that was the last time.

A very friendly welcome, a very good price/performance ratio. The Foccacia Bruscetta was great for sharing and was spicy. The pizza was rather neutral, but you can order spicy or spicy when ordering.
