Meine Familie geht schon seit 1978dort essen! Früher relativ häufig, aber die Parkplätze sind sehr rar! Da ich nicht mehr so gut laufen kann. sind unsere Besuche nicht mehr so häufig. Heute hatten wir mit dem Parkplatz mal wieder Glück. Aber dafür war die Bedienung überfordert ! Der Grieche hatte geschlossen, dafür war hier einiges los. Die Bedienung (2) kam nicht hinterher. Ich habe mehrfach versucht zu bezahlen , ich habe gute 20 Minuten versucht, den Ober auf mich aufmerksam zu machen. Ich finde es sehr schade, vielleicht kann man besser planen

Wir gehen seit Jahren mit der Familie ins Sole d‘Oro und sind immer sehr zufrieden. Pizza und Pasta sind sehr lecker und die Portionen sind reichlich.

Tolles klassisch italienisches Restaurant! Die Pizza war super lecker, die Pasta frisch und perfekt gewürzt und das Tiramisu zum Nachtisch ein echtes Highlight. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat uns richtig gut bei der Weinauswahl beraten. Einziger Minuspunkt: Wasser ist hier wirklich ziemlich teuer. Richtig cool ist außerdem die Kegelbahn im Keller, ein großer Bonus, der das Restaurant noch vielseitiger macht. Sie ist zwar schon etwas älter, macht aber trotzdem mega Spaß. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Abend!

Ich habe dort meinen Geburtstag gefeiert, erst auf der Kegelbahn und dann haben wir oben im Restaurant gegessen, es war toll und hat allen Spaß gemacht...gute Möglichkeit nicht nur am Tisch zu sitzen und zu essen sondern eine runde Sache mit dem Kegeln zu kombinieren. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Das Restaurant ist generell empfehlenswert, das Essen war phantastisch und lecker 😋

I haven't had such delicious Italian food in a long time. Swapping the Penne all'Amatriciana for Spaghetti della Casa was truly delicious. The service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant with unobtrusive background music. There were eight of us—family and friends—and we were given a lovely table at lunchtime without a reservation. Highly recommended. I hope to be able to enjoy another wonderful meal here with friends soon.

We visited the restaurant for the second time today. The older waiter was more pushy than attentive. On our first visit, the pasta dish with truffles from the daily specials menu was below restaurant standard. Completely tasteless. The pizza was okay, although again today it was missing the garlic we ordered. The entrecôte was almost raw and had to be sent back. What's particularly irritating, however, is that the water bottles arrive on the tables sometimes with and sometimes without the ring under the cap, leaving us to wonder if we're being served bottled tap water for a not insignificant amount of money?! If that's the case—and in good restaurants, water bottles are only opened at the table in front of the guest, which wasn't the case here—then that's a huge rip-off, and we're still considering whether to report this suspicion for investigation. Conclusion: There are indeed good Italian restaurants in Berlin.

I thought the pizzas were great, much better than the pasta. We had Gorgonzola one and pasta with chicken, capers, and olives the other...I think the second version with chicken was called d'Oro. It was okay, but I wouldn't go back. The gray-haired, older waiter was very annoying and constantly made jokes that no one found funny. When taking our card payment, he made mistakes and simply said cheekily that we should sort it out between ourselves. We found that rude. One of the other very friendly waiters (dark-haired with a full beard) solved our problem. It's worth going there once, but it's not my favorite.

I've eaten here several times, and it's always been excellent. The sirloin steak and the daily specials are absolute highlights. The servers are always very friendly, too. All in all, a great restaurant!

After eating the carbonara, my girlfriend and I felt sick. The lasagna tasted like ready-made food and was rancid!

Unfortunately, the tomato sauce, in addition to the calamari, was topped with olives and capers, which I didn't know and didn't like. It should have been on the menu. They used to have a real tomato sauce with just garlic and maybe parsley. A shame.

First of all: We've been to this restaurant several times and have always recommended it to others. As usual, the food was excellent: tasty, lovingly prepared, and generously portioned. The cuisine is impressive! The service, however, was disappointing this time. Although I – like several others – was still eating, the waiter attempted to clear my plate. When I politely pointed out that I wasn't finished, he responded with a pedantic comment about the position of the cutlery, which seemed more unpleasant than humorous. The behavior afterward seemed distant, almost mocking. What was particularly irritating was that I was handed the bill for the entire table – in public and with the expectation that I would pay everything. This left me with an uneasy feeling, especially since I had behaved respectfully throughout. The way we treat guests shouldn't differentiate between regulars and new customers. Relying solely on familiar faces risks alienating new ones. That would be a shame – the culinary potential is there. I'll give the restaurant one last chance. If the service is satisfactory again, I am happy to reconsider my assessment and edit the review.

We were there with a larger group, had made a reservation outside in advance, and immediately felt at home. The price of the restaurant is really fair - the quality of the food and the service are almost an insider tip for the prices. The food has little to do with Italian cuisine and this restaurant is not recommended. For example, the pizza has little toppings but a lot of oil, that has nothing to do with pizza.

But this was by far the best Italian restaurant we have ever visited. If we didn't live so far away we would dine there every evening. So, very tasty typical Italian pizzas, very friendly service, even sitting outside in sunny weather the traffic on Johannisthaler Chaussee was hardly a problem. It was our first time here and it certainly won't be the last.

This popular restaurant is located near the Gropius Passage on Johannisthaler Chaussee. In summer, you can sit outside on the terrace. The service was very attentive and friendly. During the week, there is also an affordable lunch menu. The regular menu also offers moderate prices. The pizzas are large enough to fill you up. However, the flavor could be improved. Nevertheless, a visit is still recommended. Update: I was there again today. The service and quality of the food are still good. I can therefore still recommend Sole d'Oro.

I ordered a pizza from Sole d'Oro via the well-known delivery website with the orange logo because I thought the local pizza was delicious last time. However, it was delivered by “Conte’s” in Schönefeld. Although Conte's also has its own website for ordering, which I deliberately did NOT order from because I don't like the store and I wanted to order my pizza close to home so that it would arrive hot, it was delivered without any indication of "Conte's" because according to the imprint it is the same owner. Pizza arrived almost cold and was different from Sole d'Oro in the restaurant. I think it's a disgrace to simply deliver from a different store than where you ordered!! Especially since Conte's currently only has a rating of 4.3 stars on the ordering page, while Sole d'Oro has 4.6 stars. So you lure people with a better rating and then deliver from the worse rated business. That's definitely the end of both shops for me, although we actually enjoyed eating at Sole d'Oro from time to time.

Celebrate my birthday there every year and we have to say that there is nothing better to eat there with your guests! Food, prices and service GREAT!

(Quality of food and cuisine) and order from you via (Uber Easts) but we get our delivery from Schönefeld/Grossziethen, from a location we don't know at all. absolute NOGO. By the way, delivery time is 1:15 a.m. and if you ask in the restaurant (Johannisthaler Chaussee - statement from the restaurant - please call the following number ********* as we cannot tell you when your order will arrive. 2025 4 stars again. Pizza was a little better in the delivery service. But she can't match the delicious local pizza. The restaurant on site is really good and would get 5 stars. 2022-12: 2 stars: Ordered pizza there again today via Lieferando because we thought of a “slip” last time. Unfortunately the pizza wasn't any better this time. On the contrary - my Bufalina had very little mozzarella on it (about 4, max 5, very small miniature blobs, which I wasn't quite sure if they were really real BUFFALO mozzarella) and exactly 4 basil leaves, which looked a bit sad, otherwise just (admittedly good) tomato sauce and not all the way to the edge. This made the pizza quite dry overall. An entire quarter consisted only of tomato sauce with a basil leaf because the extremely little cheese wasn't even well distributed. The pizza looked like a "blank with tomato sauce" that had just started to be topped but wasn't finished yet. Only the good taste of the dough and the sauce makes me give it 2 stars today. The pizza wasn't very warm either, even though the restaurant is right around the corner. It's a shame ☹️. We'll probably have to look for another Italian restaurant now and we always enjoyed going there and ordered very often. What's going on Sole d'Oro? This is completely different than before! 2022-10: (Delivery from lieferando) 3 stars: Today I was really disappointed 😞. Pizza was a little smaller than usual. I would have thought that was ok. But what wasn't ok was the extremely (!!!) wide and dry edge of the pizza. The small portion that was filled in the middle was quite tasty. However, I doubt whether the mozzarella on the "Buffalo" was buffalo mozzarella as stated. Pizza Parma should be with Parmesan. We couldn't find any parmesan here either. Too bad. The pizza was worth 5 stars. Today I have to correct my rating. 2020: 5 stars: Very tasty pizza in the delivery service. We order more often. Sometimes I would "only" give four stars (recently I found pizza tasty, but very thinly topped). Today the topping was really good and plentiful!!! That's why I give it 5 stars. The Sole d'Oro is a real Italian restaurant. The food is always fresh and delicious, the service is very warm and always friendly. The prices haven't been increased for quite a long time, but the portions have become a little smaller, but they are still sufficient and even as a grown man you will be full. Today I paid 9.50 euros for a quarter liter of wine. I found that to be an absolute rip-off. 0 points. I actually wanted to drink a Pino Grigio, but I was told that it was "out". I was offered another wine without telling me that it was disproportionately more expensive. That really annoyed me a lot.

When we entered we were initially ignored by the waiter. After a while he came. We didn't have a reservation that day. He led us to the back corner and said we could sit anywhere where there were no napkins. Once we were seated we had to wait a long time again. We were neither given a menu nor asked for drinks. After what felt like an eternity, another waiter (the younger one) came and brought us a card. We ordered 2 pizzas and a pasta dish. As a starter, on the house, there was delicious fresh bread with garlic and chili in oil. My son put garlic on his bread. Then the (old) waiter came back and commented: "If you dirty the tablecloth, you can take it with you to wash it." Maybe it was supposed to be funny, but we weren't laughing. When the waiter brought the cutlery, he rudely threw it on the table. The food that came next was very tasty. We can't say anything bad about it. But the service was super bad. I would never go there again.

Pizza Marinara or Sole d’ Doro and also Spaghetti Carbonara are simply delicious. Tomassini Pizza y Pasta in Sineu Mallorca was number 1 with ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ while I was still living in Sineu, but it was around 2012 when I was there last time. Sole d' Doro now takes that spot with ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I can't say much about the atmosphere in the restaurant because I always have it delivered or picked up.

Total "rogue"... just ordered an Insalata Pollo to take away. Opened it at home and then saw the catastrophe for a whopping €14.40 (!!!!!) (see photo). 4 pieces of cucumber + 1/4 chopped pepper, 3 sticks of arugula and the rest of cheap iceberg lettuce. 4 chicken strips, no dressing. RIP-OFF!!

If you order here, the food comes from Conte’s in Schönefeld. This is fraud in my opinion. The pizza came ice cold. When I called Soledoro they were very unfriendly and said he would give me a number for someone responsible. That's how I know it's Conte's. The matter is now also reported to Lieferando.

Das Essen konnten wir leider nicht bewerten denn es wurde schlicht nicht geliefert! Trotz angebotenem Lieferservice über Lieferando war das Restaurant nicht in der Lage binnen 60 Minuten eine Pizza um die Ecke zu liefern! Auf telefonische Nachfrage hieß es dann in circa 15 Minuten könnten wir liefern. Wir haben dann dankend darauf verzichtet und uns selber ein paar Nudeln gekocht. Über diesen Service kann man sich wirklich nicht beschweren, denn er fand nicht statt.

Nice service and delicious pizza

I ordered a steak well done. But it was rare. So I didn't eat the steak. When the waiter asked if something was wrong, I told him the steak was too raw. There was no word of apology. He cleared the plates and left. Some time later, unannounced and without a word, something was held from behind so close to my face that I couldn't tell what it was. I wanted to push it away from me when someone said in a stern tone: "Not everything!". He tore away what turned out to be a plate with various small sweets. A strange and rather arrogant way to make up for a poorly prepared meal. Very unprofessional. We didn't feel comfortable and don't go there anymore.

Great cuisine, from classic Italian dishes to top steak dishes. Reasonable prices and great seasonal specials.
