A fantastic Italian restaurant, lovely food, and some really nice and skilled waiters

The restaurant is very well located and has been my go-to spot for over six years. The atmosphere is nice, and the food is exceptional, complemented by a superb wine collection. The waitstaff are friendly and attentive, making every visit a fantastic experience.

We ate at this restaurant two nights in a row because we liked the food, the ambiance, and the service.

We stopped in spontaneously and were warmly welcomed even without a reservation. The service is truly outstanding and the food is excellent. We had a tuna pizza and the lamb dish from the daily specials menu. We will definitely eat here again on our next visit to Berlin!

The atmosphere was nice, the staff was attentive. Six of us went. The pizza and tomato soup were good. The starters, carpacio and burata salad, were nice. The pasta was disappointing. The risotto was the worst I've ever had. I think they washed the rice. A mediocre rice pilaf is better than a mid-range Turkish restaurant.

The food was still perfect even at 9 p.m. The mushroom risotto, carpaccio, and salmon tartare were fresh and prepared to perfection, even at this time. Tiramisu and panna cotta topped it off, also fresh from the ground up. And all at a very good price. Many thanks to the restaurant team.

Mixed experience. "Old-style" Italian atmosphere from the 50s. The dishes themselves are quite good, but the quantities are ridiculous and served on very large plates. The service is not very pleasant. Considering the rather high price, the value for money is poor.

Nice ambience and delicious food

Top-notch food in a top location! Even the prices were reasonable, especially considering the excellent quality offered here. One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten, and the pasta was also perfectly prepared. On top of that, they arrive very quickly. A real tip! Bonus: The tiramisu is mouth-watering!

Lovely spot, im often put off by the tourist traps but this was a genuine Italian in a great location, food was excellent, lovely wine, service was spot on, friendly polite staff, there when needed, otherwise left alone, clean premises, toilets immaculate. I loved the place and can't wait to go back. Priced quite reasonable given location.

We were in Berlin over the weekend and wanted to treat ourselves to some culinary delights – and stumbled upon this restaurant. And what can I say: we were absolutely not disappointed! The food was amazing – incredibly delicious, perfectly seasoned, and the portions were just right. The pasta with truffles, tossed in a cheese wheel, was a particular highlight and simply unbeatable in terms of taste. The staff was also more than friendly. Our waiter was not only attentive but also really funny – you could tell he puts his heart and soul into his job. This made us feel at ease right away. All in all, a fantastic evening: great food, a fantastic atmosphere, and service that you could only wish for. We'd go back anytime! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat really well in Berlin.

The restaurant is beautiful and has tables outside. The food is very tasty. We went for dinner three times and ordered grilled salmon, grilled manzo fillet, seafood stew, pizza, pasta, and desserts, all delicious. And above all, the service from the staff who served us was excellent. The location is excellent, very close to Berlin's tourist attractions.

This is a prefectly okay restaurant. Service is alright, the food is good, prices are good. There is nothing to overpraise, but you will have a nice meal if you decide to come here.

The staff blows the napkins lying on the ground out onto the street with leaf blowers. When asked to dispose of their own trash properly, the staff member replies that it all comes from the trees. So, if you want to see napkin trees, this is the place to be.

A particularly fine restaurant with a good selection on the menu. Also a good wine selection. Tip: choose the pasta with truffle and Parmesan! It's prepared tableside, including flambéing.

We ate here yesterday and today with my husband and our two children. Our hotel is right next door. What can I say? Simply fantastic! The service was super friendly, the food was truly delicious, and the value for money was absolutely fair. I would especially like to highlight our waitress (I think her name was Laila or Leyla?) who was very attentive, warm, and professional. Just the way you like it! A place where you feel welcome and enjoy your meal. Absolutely recommend it, we'll be back!

We would especially like to emphasize the warm welcome we received from our little son, Milo. The hospitality was palpable from the very first moment, and we felt completely at home. This is the best Italian food I’ve had outside of Italy. Let me stress the very high quality of service, of food, of how quick we got our food, and of the value. The staff did not speak English, but were exceptionally kind, charismatic, and professional so that the language barrier wasn’t even an issue. It was a quieter day but the food came very fast and was delicious. It was so good we came back the very next day. I hope this restaurant is still around the next time I visit because it really was the best. Authentic Italian cuisine run by Italians. Don’t listen to anyone else. Eat here.

The three of us were there after the half marathon, and the spaghetti vongole was to die for! Service was extremely slow, but it was also packed... The wines were also excellent!

Absolutely magnificent setting! The atmosphere is warm and refined, a real feast for the eyes. The service is impeccable: the servers are not only very friendly but also highly professional. My food was bad. I had colic all night and wanted to throw up. The spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino was al dente, but dry, not creamy. The garlic was sliced ​​but raw, and the olive oil didn't taste virgin. The children had pizzas and they were very good. I wanted to remember Italy and ordered this spaghetti but had no luck. Otherwise good restaurant and good service. Update: I reviewed 3 instead of 4 stars. Still sick after two days.

Vores Påske tur til Berlin bød på flere kulinariske oplevelser, hvor Ristorante calico D’Oro har én af dem. Restauranten bød på klassiske italienske retter. Begge retter, som blev nydt ved bordet var Tagliatelle med laks og pizza Parma med rucola, var velsmagende.

We recently visited Ristorante Calice d’Oro, a cozy Italian restaurant with a beautiful interior and a romantic atmosphere. The dim lighting, elegant decor, and pleasant music create the perfect setting for a leisurely dinner. The evening started off promising – we were immediately served a complimentary treat from the restaurant: fresh bread and flavorful olives, a nice touch that set a positive tone. We ordered two vitello tonnato and rack of lamb. Unfortunately, our expectations were not fully met. The vitello tonnato was presented differently on each plate – one had arugula, while the other did not. The dish was tasty, but not particularly memorable. The rack of lamb was a disappointment – it was drenched in oil, making it heavy and greasy, completely overshadowing the tenderness we were hoping for. In the end, despite the beautiful presentation and cozy ambiance, the overall dining experience was underwhelming. We won’t be returning.

We were on the terrace, very pleasant. By the way, be careful not to say “yes” too quickly to the question of whether you want a bottle of water, since the 0.75cl one is worth €7.5! It may be normal in some European cities, but for Spaniards it is theft!! In Madrid, for example, the drinking tap is free. Come see the restaurant!

Love love love the atmosphere there. Chic & cozy restaurant. So far i have dined here twice, on both occasions i got the seafood pasta. However their service is not really outstanding to me. It’s just ok. Food was actually enjoyable & pretty decent, but the presentation was below my expectations, my second plate was pretty messy. Prices were fair.

It is a tourist spot, pizza is ok but not recommended, risotto is delicious, water is overpriced at 7.50 euros, salad is very tasty at 16.50, but also more of a tourist price. Service very attentive. Overall conclusion, there are significantly better ones in Berlin.

Fantastic food and very friendly and helpful staff

I asked for information about a dish and the waiter brought it right away. According to the food, it was tasteless. The pasta with salmon and the matriciana were awful. I didn't even touch the matriciana dish and asked for it to be removed. The waiter didn't even ask why the dish was untouched.

We chose this restaurant for our last evening in Berlin, a wonderful conclusion to the holiday! Elegant environment, friendly staff and good Italian food. My 12 year old son and I travel and he often asks me for Italian cuisine abroad and here I have to say they are good (for being outside of Italy!!).
