We had dinner here. The food tasted okay, but for the price we paid this is certainly not a good place. The presentation of the food was also very simple, which I did not expect for the price we paid. The service was good but nevertheless I would not recommend visiting this place if you find yourself in Berlin.

Ottimo ristorante, per un italiano che si trova a Berlino è un post top. Cibo buono, abbiamo assaggiato una focaccia, il carpaccio di manzo, pasta aglio e peperoncino e le tagliatelle al tartufo. La qualità della pasta ottima. Il personale appena ha saputo che fossimo italiani ci han fatto le feste. Il tutto accompagnato da un buon vino chianti classico. I prezzi sono giusti per ció che viene offerto. Ne vale la pena.

A nice, small restaurant - right in the middle of Berlin, on the street, easy to reach on foot. - Delicious food, good service, priced a little higher than a regular pizzeria, but absolutely reasonable and good. -> highly recommended 😊👍

Just had something to drink as it felt like it was 40 degrees 😅 Limoncello Sprizz was very good. We looked at the menu - Very, very nice menu - Great Italian dishes. It's a shame, if we had been hungry we would definitely have eaten something. The ambience is really nice and the service is very accommodating.

We ate on the terrace and were completely satisfied. The service was extremely friendly and attentive and gave us the best advice. The wine was excellently chilled and delicious, the food was great, pasta flambéed in parmesan cheese, the dessert plate was very tasty and the coffee at the end was a delight. In the last few days we have often eaten in the restaurant but this was by far the best without being overly expensive at the same time. We would love to come back here.

Perfect place to have a dinner. You may choose either short visit with a main course or all the way from the appetizers to the dessert. Personnel welcomes you and makes you feel important for them.

The chairs were the only pleasant thing in this terrible restaurant Pizza Margarita sweet like sugar and had no spices whatsoever. The pasta with tomato sauce and vegetables also tastes completely bland and absolutely too sweet. When the waiter asked if we liked it, we said yes. He didn't let us speak at all and didn't listen or show any interest and said, "Well, that's just fine." When we wanted to pay we were shocked. For a meal like this 37 euros. The cashier came and just took the 50 euros and ran away. A while later he came with the change. Absolutely not recommended, no upscale Italian food.

The entire restaurant, the service, the food and the experience was very high quality. You had the feeling of being a guest in a renowned, noble restaurant. The price is accordingly reasonable. The service was attentive and polite. The food was very tasty with, apparently, very fresh and high-quality ingredients. I can highly recommend that you come by here and see for yourself.

Pricy food for the quality and aspect of it. Focaccia looked like a frozen flat bread, the gamberoni main came with 4 king prawns over a bed of salad leafs with not much flavour and the pasta tasted bland. The service was ok, very scattered.

I felt compelled to write this review as the service is the worst I've experienced in a very long time - long wait to order, no water offered, had to get up to ask for the bill after I was ignored while 3 staff gushed over an American couple (who arrived after me) at a nearby table. The olives & bread were nice but the 'chefs recommendation' of chicken pesto pasta was bland & tasteless & no offer of parmesan or black pepper. Overpriced for what it is. Definitely not an authentic Italian and I definitely don't recommend it! I'm sorry I didn't go to Casa Italia next door!

My wife and I ordered a couple of 4 cheese pizzas for dinner. They were nice but not awesome. I think they were 15 inches. Would go back and try something else.

EXPENSIVE PUSHY AND RUDE The waiter didn't seem sober, the food was bland and way too expensive. The moment of payment was the most embarrassing, the waiter tried to force us to pay a tip while they did not deserve it at all, the moment we did not want to give a tip for the bad food and the rude attitude of the staff, the waiter became very angry and made a big play out of it in front of the other guests. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

The service I received at this restaurant was really unfortunate. The head waiter refused to give us a carafe of tap water, something that has not been a problem across Berlin and other countries in Europe. Strange, but not a dealbreaker. As an American, I understand we eat pizza differently than those in Europe — hands vs knife and fork. However, as I picked up my slice, the head waiter came up behind me and decisively put a steak knife next to me and told me off for eating my pizza “incorrectly”. While I understand culture differences are present and real, I was shell shocked. It’s important context that this restaurant is in a very touristy area of Berlin, and has an English menu, leading me to believe I am not the first American to set foot in the joint. He said nothing to the Brits in the corner of the restaurant (all male) who were also eating their pizza with their hands. Stay away from this restaurant if you don’t want a sexist or stressful experience as a woman, or if you want to eat with your hands in peace.

A positive thing to mention is that despite reservations, a table for 9 people was made possible for 13 people. Afterwards the service was overwhelmed. Try to be kind to my feelings. But it comes across as very unfriendly. Quote: If no one comes forward, I'll take the court back. Fish soup is delicious. The other dishes average. Price performance doesn't fit

I chose it because it was close to the hotel I was staying at. The Margherita pizza was very tasty and satisfying. Peperoncino is also delicious with just the right amount of spiciness. The staff was also kind and friendly. The atmosphere of the shop is also good. This is a recommended Italian restaurant.

One of the best restaurants in have ever visited

Authentic Italian restaurant with outstanding (and incredibly kid-friendly) staff. The entrecote was first class and the truffle pasta tossed in the cheese wheel right at the table was heavenly! A huge compliment to our waiter Carlos and the rest of the staff! This is rarely seen today.

Unfortunately, my enjoyment experience was marred by an older German couple who racially insulted two Russian ladies because they were speaking in their language. It was shocking and uncomfortable to witness these disrespectful and hurtful actions. What was even more disappointing was that the restaurant staff did nothing to resolve the situation even though the ladies asked for help. It is unfortunate that such inappropriate behavior is tolerated in a restaurant. I hope that such incidents do not occur in the future and that the restaurant responds appropriately to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all guests. I am attaching a picture of a racist person

The atmosphere and flavors were great. We stopped in for coffee by chance. We became regulars in the following days during our trip to Berlin. The cappuccino pizza was hot and decorated, all were great. Complete Italian flavors. The staff was friendly. It's a stylish and quiet restaurant.

Probably the most friendliest restaurant I have been to in Berlin. The food is fantastic, in fact, we went back several times to experience more of the menu. The wines are also great and the waiters very well informed woth regards to menu selections

It's quite expensive, which of course has to be attributed to the location, but I had some of the best food of my life here. If you have the money or are celebrating something special, you can't go wrong here. The truffle pasta is so good that just thinking about it makes me want to smack my lips

After visiting the opera, my wife and I wanted to end the evening with a great dinner. The reviews of the chosen restaurant were promising. When we arrived we were greeted warmly by the staff. The ambience is great. Now all that was left was to get the service and the food right. Unfortunately my food was anything but great. Neither the eye nor the taste were spoiled. Tasteless, cold vegetables and a few pieces of potatoes, all probably prepared hours ago, lay unattractively on the plate. Plus a piece of meat, which luckily for me was perfectly cooked. The herb butter that was served with it didn't have the slightest chance of running. My wife's food was good and plentiful. The eyes were also spoiled. So at least she got her money's worth. Conclusion, in the evening we can recommend Taglierini with truffles.

We stumbled into Calice D'oro by chance and had a wonderful dinner. The highlight was the Tagliarini al Tartufo y Parmigiano, which were prepared at the table. The steak is tender and cooked to perfection. Attentive and friendly service, we'll be happy to come back!

Italian food near the brandenburg gate. Reservations recommended, but we were able to step in for dinner with no problems. Friendly staff and good food. People were dressed up having a nice dinner, or tourists were having Margherita pizza. All welcome. The tomato soup was delicious, very fresh. Seafood pasta was tasty. Truffle pasta was made at our table, but the parmessan cheese overpowered the dish. Beef macaroni was tasty. We should have ordered only 2 entrées since we filled up with the bread and an appetizer platter. Even though we were ready to explode, we managed to make room for the tiramisu 😋

Nettes türkisches Restaurant mit italienischem Anstrich. Ambiente Top! Essen absoluter Flop. War früher mal gut. Heute gab's eine Gans aus Gummi mit Klößen vom Aldi, das Kalb war hoffnungslos versalzen und der winzige Teller Pasta hatte auch schon bessere Tage gesehen. Vorspeisen und Dessert waren okay. Früher bin ich oft und gerne hingegangen. Heute war das letzte Mal.

Enjoyed it so much that we had dinner here two nights in a row! Carlo took such good care of us and truly went above and beyond to make sure we were well-attended to. The vongole was the best we have had outside of Italy, the bread basket is made fresh in-house, the fish was very tender (consistently so on both visits) and the burrata also divine!

Went here for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. They could not cook a 44€ steak to a proper medium rare not once but twice. Hopefully the chef reads this. Medium rare is 57c or 135 F.

Meine Freundin und ich wollten uns einen netten letzten Kurzurlaubs-Abend in Berlin machen, aber daraus wurde nichts. Das Ambiente im Calice D'oro war ganz nett und das Essen okay (Geschmack der Maronensuppe durch viel zu viel Muskatnuss leider unkenntlich gemacht, Pasta für al dente zu hart), aber der Kellner schlicht eine Zumutung. Zuerst hat er allen, die es hören oder nicht hören wollten, von seiner Einbürgerung vor 30 Jahren und einem Deutschtest erzählt, dann darüber geurteilt, dass es den Einbürgerungswilligen heute zu leicht gemacht wird, und schließlich hat er irgendetwas darüber gesagt, dass seine 13-jährige Tochter unsittlich angefasst wurde. Meine Freundin hatte etwas völlig anderes verstanden und gelacht, worüber der Kellner sich aufgeregt und sie lautstark zurechtgewiesen hat. Sie hat drei Anläufe gemacht, um zu erklären, dass es sich um ein Missverständnis gehandelt hat, aber er hat ihr jedes Mal das Wort abgeschnitten. Er ging dann kurz weg und als er zurückkam, hat er allen Gästen an den umliegenden Tischen erklärt: "Erst lachen und dann behaupten, es sei ein Missverständnis gewesen". Zu guter Letzt hat er uns dann mit Nichtbeachtung "gestraft", bis wir gegangen sind. Was bildet der sich eigentlich ein, wer er ist?

Selten sooo gut italienisch gegessen - und das in der Lage Unter den Linden! Wunderbar eingedeckt, toller Service durch Carlos, göttliches Lammcarree, wunderbarer Wein aus Sardinien. Wir waren so begeistert dass wir morgen gleich wieder kommen…..

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Abend im Calice D‘oro verbracht und unser Kellner Carlos hat für gute Stimmung gesorgt. Es war eine herzliche Atmosphäre mit gutem Essen. Preislich gehoben, was in der Lage nicht ungewöhnlich ist. Leider bietet die Karte nicht all zu viel Auswahl. Das Lokal ist hundefreundlich.

Très bon restaurant italien dans un beau cadre avec la vinothèque occupant tout un mur et des nappes blanches sur les tables. Très bien localisé dans le centre ville sans être en rien un piège à touristes. Serveur amusant et pro. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Ne pas manquer les pâtes aux truffes flambées dans une meule de parmesan. Délicieuse saltimboca. Excellent primitivo au verre à un prix abordable. Excellents desserts.

Delicious! I had the pesto pasta with chicken which was listed under the chef's recommendations and it was so good. The service was outstanding. Loved that the waiter would bring these delicious baskets of fresh cut bread to go with some tasty olive oil that was on the table. The bottle of wine the waiter suggested was perfect. Definitely recommend this wonderful Italian restaurant.
