My mother and I had dinner here once three months ago because this is the only fine dinning restaurant in Duce that is open on Mondays. Overall it's not bad and worth a try. The non-alcoholic drinks that accompany the meal are average. A lady from Luxembourg who was in charge of greeting guests that night left a deep impression on me. She was not only friendly, but also very attentive and aware of every detail.

Dear Sascha and Walter Stemberg, You gave me an unforgettable birthday today. A Saturday lunch with so many little unexpected and great attentions. The service is absolutely outstanding. The BEST thing I have experienced in recent years. What can you say about the food? 12/10 ;) incredibly fresh and delicious. Very few can compare. Even the little attention for my 3 companions when there was an intermediate course so that they didn't have to "watch". Like many things: unexpected and great. I could agree with the previous reviewers in many areas: one of the best restaurants and hosts in Germany. For the fact that this was our first time visiting the restaurant (and certainly not the last time) I have the utmost respect. Anyone who shows such good taste with the wine list.....

Yesterday we were guests at Shiraz in its new location and with a new chef. The ambience of the restaurant, which is now located in the oldest inn in Wuppertal, is very nice and characterized by a homely atmosphere. We were excited to see new chef Reyad Danah's creations and we were not disappointed in any way. The young gentleman knows his craft. His creations are clearly on a star level. All dishes were extremely tasty with finely balanced components. Of course, the team around Maitre Serkan Akgün also shone with the well-known and experienced service that one could already enjoy in the previous location. We will happily continue to be regular guests at Shiraz.

Anyone who likes inspiring cuisine at the highest level is in good hands at “The Stage” with star chef Michael Dyllong. The individual courses make the eyes, palate and heart beat faster. Everything is perfect, atmosphere, service and time between courses make a visit to Stage an absolute gourmet highlight.

After we were able to convince ourselves of the culinary lobster menu last year, we decided to try another dish this year. The choice fell on the Chateaubriand. We were fascinated by the taste of the tender meat together with the culinary side dishes and the matching red wine that Maitre Mr. Angeli recommended to us, it was another delicious taste experience. The delicious dessert rounded off the meal. A big compliment to the chef, Mr. Groß. The maitre d'Angeli with his very good wine recommendations and his great team pampered us once again. The Chesa Rössli is the ideal address to let yourself be pampered in an elegant ambience and enjoy an unforgettable evening. See you next time! We will be back and can highly recommend it.

We were there today for Valentine's Day. It was really a great atmosphere, great staff and what is most important: a great menu. New and tasty experiences. I really like being surprised and picked up by a menu that I can't choose from.

The food is a revelation. You also feel very well looked after, which is not least due to the fantastic service, which creates the perfect setting with a healthy mix of expertise, friendliness and humor.

The hotel is very nice. The rooms are large and tastefully decorated. The hotel itself is spacious, and it's not always immediately clear how to get where. The spa was completely overcrowded on the weekend. There are far too few loungers for such a large hotel, and the saunas are designed more for a smaller hotel. The prices for breakfast and drinks are not cheap. The parking fee is €34 per day - we probably could have easily parked nearby on the street.

Top restaurant in Duisburg – absolutely recommended! 🍽️✨ Went to Küppersmühle for lunch - and no wonder it's one of the best restaurants in the city! The location is simple but stylish, with a tasteful atmosphere. We spontaneously decided on the ribeye steak with truffle fries – simply perfect! 🥩🍟 In the evening there is an even larger menu that I will definitely try out when I get the chance. If you're looking for good food in Duisburg, you've come to the right place! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First of all: the food and the dishes were really very good, there is little to complain about, except that the portions could have been a tiny bit bigger. Unfortunately, the service and the drinks were average at best. It started with the drinks order getting mixed up at the aperitif - it can always happen, but then at this level I would expect them to say "sorry, we'll correct it". Instead, it got a little uncomfortable for a moment and we took the wrong order. The empty aperitif glasses were still on the table until the second course. There was a very tasty greeting from the kitchen at the beginning - here too, the plates and leftovers were still on the table until the third course, and were not cleared away. Then on to the wine accompaniment: here the wines were sometimes only served after the respective course, and they were not really matched to the food either. We had half and half with and without alcohol. Here, too, the agreed order was not adhered to. An even bigger flop was the purely alcohol-free accompaniment. While other restaurants of this level (NeoBiota, Sahila etc.) offer creative alternatives, here the same non-alcoholic wine was served three times in a row. That was really disappointing for the price. Overall, the staff were very nice, but unfortunately not really attentive. Even when I asked questions about the food, they could only read out what was on the menu. There was no background information on the dishes. I did think it was very good, however, that there was a shot on the house at the end of the evening. It was a nice gesture! Overall 3/5 stars - but there is definitely potential for more here.
