This was our second visit to this restaurant. On our first visit, we were absolutely thrilled – the food was a real highlight, exceptionally delicious, very filling, and the service was extremely attentive. Based on this positive experience, we were willing to make the four-hour drive again this time. The quality of the food was just as impressive on our second visit, if not even better. The taste was consistently excellent – ​​there's absolutely nothing to criticize. Unfortunately, the overall experience this time didn't quite live up to our first visit. We were seated at the Chef's Table, which is generally exciting, but the noise level from the kitchen was significantly higher than at a regular table. Combined with the fact that the very friendly server explained the dishes quietly and had limited German skills, the instructions were barely audible. Especially in a concept where presentation and explanation are integral to the experience, this is a crucial point that shouldn't be overlooked. In addition, we felt the portion sizes were rather small this time. In relation to the price level charged, we unfortunately didn't get very full, which was quite different from our first visit.

We ate there for the third or fourth time in March 2025. We were satisfied the previous times, but this visit was our last for the time being. For our main course, we ordered roasted veal fillet, which, according to the menu, should have come with a herb crust. When we asked why it was missing, we were told the herb marinade had spilled on the floor and was therefore unavailable. However, there was no substitute, not even herb butter, sauce, or anything similar. The side dish consisted of two (two!) tiny potatoes and a teaspoonful of ratatouille—practically nothing. You could have gotten the same thing in a steakhouse, probably with more sides. During the meal (we were a party of six, and the table wasn't particularly large), one of the wine glasses unfortunately broke. The real surprise came with the bill: €25 was charged for broken glass! We've never experienced anything like it. When we inquired, we received an "apology" that it was a very high-quality glass. Sorry, but that's a business risk, and if you can't afford it, you have to set the table with less expensive glasses. Other good restaurants also have expensive glasses, but we've never experienced or even heard of that. The room is quite echoey; it was full, and then it was quite loud, so conversation was a bit of a challenge.

A truly fantastic experience. A super friendly, very young team. A pleasantly diverse crowd. A lovely atmosphere. And the food... incredible. The amuse-bouche alone is worth the trip. Intense flavors unlike anything you've experienced before. The Russian influence makes it incredibly exciting. Both the dishes and the brilliant wine pairings are understated – and that's a good thing: intense, full-bodied, and full of contrast. Yet never pretentious or contrived. Highly recommended!

We were at Twenü at the Troyka restaurant and are still totally blown away! 😍 Even the online reservation was super easy. On the day of our visit, we even received a call because someone had canceled – and we were spontaneously given the chance to sit at the chef's table. We were so excited and thrilled! We traveled all the way from Wipperfürth in the Oberbergischer Kreis – and it was absolutely worth it. We had a vegan three-course meal with wine pairing, and it was simply unbelievably delicious. It came with bread and butter, a welcome from the chef, and chocolates to finish – an all-around unique experience. We don't want to go into detail about each dish because you have to experience it for yourself. But this much is clear: we've never eaten such delicious, creative, and special dishes. We were speechless after every bite – and when Marcel even offered us seconds (that sauce!!! 😍), we could hardly believe our luck. A real highlight: Many apprentices work in the kitchen, and because we were seated at the chef's table, they chatted directly with us while we cooked. They were super friendly, approachable, and at eye level – that made the experience even more personal. The wine pairings and the non-alcoholic pairings were also amazing: unusual combinations at first glance, but they ultimately worked perfectly and rounded everything out. Although we briefly thought we were underdressed in jeans and a T-shirt, the warm welcome immediately made us feel absolutely welcome. We hope the Twenü offer continues for a long time – we would love to come back next year with friends. Thank you for this offer and for bringing Michelin-starred cuisine so close to young people. 🙌

Dining here is simply an experience! I don't regret a cent and am very happy to have been here. One minor drawback, in my opinion, are the chairs in the "new winter garden" (which are presumably made of rattan, but are still very comfortable!). Not quite in keeping with the upscale standards of the restaurant. I was also a bit dissatisfied with the "opaque" pricing of the drinks. Perhaps a transparent price list would be possible? :)

The very personal conversations with two of the three managing directors – sommelier Ronny and chef Alex – were particularly enriching and made the evening even more unique. The ambiance is stylish, warm, and inviting. There were two minor points that could be improved, but these are so minor that they don't detract from the overall impression in any way. I can't say anything other than: perfect! We spent the evening here on our wedding anniversary and left Troyka completely happy. We had the vegetarian menu, and every course was amazing. My favorite catapulted me back to my childhood: the artichoke—Solero shots ice cream meets outdoor pool fries. Simply brilliant. The service was perfect, super attentive but relaxed, and we felt very comfortable. I loved that they also offered a very thoughtful, non-alcoholic accompaniment, and I was able to try it again and again with my husband—super delicious. I can't understand the few critical comments. Yes, Troyka isn't affordable every night, but the amount of work that goes into creating these dishes, selecting suppliers, and putting together the perfect accompaniments… that has to be paid for. Of course you are in an environment and price segment that you won't experience every week, but all in all: I would do it again and again. Often these types of restaurants have the “Etepetete” stamp. The Troyka by @alexander_wulf_russianchef @schreiberronny @marcelkokot maintains its absolute down-to-earth attitude, absolute sophistication and incredible, transparent hospitality! Breathtaking! This word sums up the evening in the Troyka restaurant very well. From the interior to the menu to the drink accompaniment, everything was truly breathtaking. But let me start from the beginning. The Troyka restaurant is considered the only Russian star restaurant in the world and that alone is reason enough to try a menu here. At 6 p.m. sharp, the doors open and the first guests are seated. I was allowed to choose whether I would like to sit in the hall or at the chef's table. With an offer like that, I'd happily take the Chef's Table! Sitting directly at the post, I was quickly greeted with a non-alcoholic aperitif and water. Both really refreshing and a nice start to the evening. In addition to the menu, I chose three signature dishes: goose liver cake, caviar fire potato and Guillardeau oyster. But I started with the classic amuse, the Troyka (=three-horse team) from Daikon. Fresh, crunchy, slightly spicy; That's how I want Daikon. Then a second greeting came from the kitchen: the Bardinova waffle, a malt waffle filled with cream. Really tasty and crunchy. After two greetings we move on to the first real course: Pot Schuba. Here we decided on a layered salad made from beetroot, dill and hamachi. A classic of Russian cuisine reinterpreted, giving the dish a modern touch. And the hamachi gives the dish a very unique taste. Before the second course continues, the signature dishes are served. Starting with the goose liver cake, followed by the fire potato and ending with the Gillardeau oyster, I am transported into a world that I don't want to leave. The goose liver cake was my personal highlight of the evening, the creaminess of the liver gave it a wonderful mouthfeel. After the signature dishes, we continue with the second course: the mushroom gateau. This gateau has a really woody, savory flavor, with the waffle exterior and pistachio coating also covering multiple textures and rounding out the dish. This proves once again that vegetarian dishes can easily compete with meat and fish. Now let’s move on to 3rd gear: Carabinero. As an exception, a slightly spicy dish is served, but not too spicy. So really very tolerable for non-spicy eaters. Aisle 4 represents another highlight: Piripjolka. A quail with duck liver and a variation of the well-known borscht is exactly the dish I was waiting for. The dish has depth, creaminess, tenderness, complexity and I never want to stop adding my spoon to the sauce. My favorite from the normal menu. In fact, after the excellent course, another meat course comes in course 5: rack of lamb. The back was cooked to perfection and the sauce took care of the rest. But actually the piroshki in that course got me even more. A dumpling filled with lamb and Roscoff onions brings fattiness and umami, but at the same time also a subtle sweetness. To round off the evening, dessert comes to the table in course 6: Tschak Tschak. Sorbet meets chocolate meets Smetana. Anyone who loves desserts will have a blast here. The acidity of the berries gives the dessert a freshness and lightness. Yes, the menu was truly a feast for the eyes and every dish brought me nothing but pure joy and happiness and showed me how versatile Russian/Eastern European cuisine can be. The wine pairing was great with the courses; the ice wine with the goose liver cake is highly recommended. I can only find nice words about the service. The service staff accompanied me warmly and advised me through this unique experience, generously poured wine and had conversations with me. All in all a successful evening. I've never been to a star restaurant before but the place is really great. The ambience is chic but relaxed and not at all aloof. The service was very accommodating, maybe even a little too much at times but I guess that's normal in restaurants like this. The food is obviously a matter of taste but I personally thought it was really good and the well-thought-out non-alcoholic drink accompaniment complemented it well, although to be fair it has to be said that some of the creations were quite beetroot-heavy and correspondingly earthy.

The food was very good. The courses seemed harmonious, with the starter being the highlight for me. In my opinion, the main course and dessert couldn't quite keep up. The service was super friendly, attentive and personable. I actually really liked the modern furnishings with the open kitchen and the outdoor area also looked very inviting. I would have given full marks here if the chef hadn't walked past me without saying a word when he visited my two tables next to me. When it comes to friendliness and appreciation for the customer, he is welcome to learn from his service.

Yes, admittedly, we are Troyka fans. We've eaten there a few times, be it for dinner in the evening or for one of the great events that take place there regularly. Every time we were completely thrilled and went home happy and completely full. Yesterday we took a cooking course there for the first time, which my husband gave me for Christmas. The warm professionalism was already evident in advance. I love my husband, but he's really not good at organization. A lot of things went wrong in the communication beforehand, but the communication always remained very, very nice and professional. Our wishes were taken into account 100%. At the end we made Georgian dumplings with Marcel and Leon. Many, many thanks to you two for this great day. It was incredibly fun. The food was just great. Time has flown by. We are already looking forward to the next course.

We were there on Boxing Day (Chef Table). It was a great end to Christmas. We were able to watch our food being prepared. It was a delicious Christmas menu. We were always well informed about what we had “on our plates”. We also ordered an upgrade. Everything was delicious, but the upgrade, the liver, was the “highlight” of the meal for me. Erkelenz isn't exactly within walking distance, but Troyka delivers via getvoila. And what can I say, what a great trip! With every course we asked ourselves how it would fit together - and each time with the first bite it became clear how much thought had gone into the combinations. That was really exciting - and of course very tasty. In addition, the entire menu gives the feeling of your own mother or grandma wanting to do something good for you. Home cooking at star level, so to speak :)

I'm completely open. Food ok. Service!? I always helped myself... nothing special, to be honest. The salmon in the starter was very good. The rest... well... 3 Gillardeau oysters for 29 euros!? Sorry, that doesn't work! I don't pay that at Wissler (3 stars). And finally a dessert, which is not possible at all. Too salty and too bitter. Visually great! Too bad! In addition: dear management. I raised the problem with the champagne being too warm as well as the price and criticism of the dessert directly to the service. Nothing was done anonymously here, but communicated directly and openly as you wish. Your service also offered an alternative, which I politely declined. So stick to the truth

We took advantage of the JRE's "TWENÜ" (an offer for young people under 30) to get a taste of the world of fine cuisine. For €95 per person we received a 3-course menu including a drink accompaniment. Even though we probably brought TROYKA the lowest sales that evening, we didn't feel like second-class guests for a second - quite the opposite! The service was friendly and attentive. A compliment at this point to Christopher Stockmann! The food was also exceptionally good. No matter whether sturgeon, salt marsh lamb or the rhubarb dessert: every course is a hit. We were particularly surprised by a dish with eggplant, which wasn't even on the gourmet menu, but was specially prepared for a vegetarian friend. Also recommended: the wine created by sommelier Ronny Schreiber. We took a few bottles of TRY Sweet with us. It definitely won't be our last visit.

A very special experience! After we first heard about the restaurant through Sturmaffel, it was immediately on our list. 3 weeks ago we treated ourselves to something and combined it with a Borussia game and were there for the first time. Luckily we were offered 2 seats at the chef's table and what can I say...it was an absolute experience from minute one. Looking into the kitchen and seeing this flawless interaction up close was very exciting. That evening Robin guided us through the evening. The experience doesn't stop with the meal, thank you very much for the very pleasant company. The owners also take the time to speak to the guests personally and also include a subsequent visit to the kitchen. About the food: We've never eaten like this before! For us it was 2 star level 😉 Really great cinema, you just didn't want the evening to end. You created very special memories for us. Big praise and many thanks to the whole team.

A stay in the TROYKA for more than four hours is an event and not a normal dinner. Of course everything has its price, but we don't eat here every week. An evening like this can be compared to a concert in the VIP lounge. It also costs money, but we're not interested. TROYKA - An evening to enjoy Modern and very attractive ambience, the overall atmosphere is very relaxed and informal. Ob Sommelier / einer der Inhaber oder der fachlich sehr versierte Azubi - die Liebe zum »Produkt« ist deutlich spürbar und erlebbar. Auch die Damen im Service waren immer mit einem Lächeln dabei und haben den Charme des Troyka mit positiver Energie erlebbar gemacht. Viele Einzelelemente bei der Einrichtung des Gastraums laden zum genauen Betrachten ein. Man spürt deutlich, wie gerne man sich hier bei der Ausgestaltung der Location mit vielen Kleinigkeiten und raffinierten Details ausgelebt hat. Die Küchenleistung punktet zu Recht mit einem Stern! Am vergangen Sonntag sogar gleich mit zwei Sternen, da ein Gastkoch aus Trier dabei war. Wir erlebten einen ehrlichen und sehr harmonisch abgestimmten, leckeren Abend mit 6-Gängen. Eine Mischung aus Crossover-, Regionaler- und Russischer Küche. Liebevoll arrangiert und souverän per Mikrofone annonciert. Chapeau an den Chef und seine Crew. Fazit von uns: wir kommen gerne wieder!

Troyka - a culinary experience - "in the country". It was our first time in this tasteful oasis. Top service, some real entertainers at the table. Always present and yet not intrusive. Hosting is actively practiced here with a lot of charm and personality. Whether it's a sommelier / one of the owners or a very technically experienced trainee - the love for the "product" is clearly noticeable and tangible. The ladies in service were always there with a smile and made the Troyka's charm come alive with positive energy. Many individual elements in the furnishing of the guest room invite you to take a closer look. You can clearly feel how much they enjoyed designing the location with lots of little things and sophisticated details. The kitchen performance rightly scores one star! Last Sunday it even received two stars because a guest chef from Trier was there. We experienced an honest and very harmonious, delicious evening with 6 courses. A mix of crossover, regional and Russian cuisine. Lovingly arranged and confidently announced via microphones. Chapeau to the boss and his crew. Our conclusion: we would love to come back!

Wir waren zum Mittagessen im Restaurant, haben das Bistromenue auf der Terrasse bei tollem Wetter genossen. Ich mag die entspannte und lockere Atmosphäre in dem Sternelokal. Das Essen - Rehkeule bzw Heilbutt mit tollen Saucen und Beilagen war ausgezeichnet. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und gut drauf. Für uns als "Normalos" ist die Troyka eine Besonderheit.Die Preise sind den tollen Produkten angemessen und ab und zu muss man sich etwas Gutes tun.
