Simply one of the best fine dining experiences I've ever had. Not pretentious or stuffy, but rather relaxed and refined. Full tasting menu with the wine pairing and a few additional options are available to enhance the menu. Absolutely zero mistakes made throughout the service from start to finish. The whole team was in sync and it showed. I sat at the bar and could see directly into the kitchen the entire time, it was a perfectly executed service. Markus and Tobias (the brothers) curate everything in the space to make you feel comfortable and welcomed, an absolute masterclass in being an excellent host. Chef Daniel and his team are fluid and thoughtful with the flavors, presentations, and techniques used. Food highlights on this particular menu were the langoustine wrapped in knafeh and orange, the new brill dish wrapped in a squash blossom and served with a intense bisque like sauce, and the lamb served with perfect pomme frittes and a couple incredible lamb meatballs with yogurt on the side. The wine pairing was dynamic and wonderfully curated by Tobias. Desserts were wonderful and the petite four was a highlight rather than an afterthought as can so often be the case. Of all the Michelin and fine dining experiences I've been lucky to have over the years, this has catapulted to the top of the list for myself. An absolute pleasure and MUST if you are in the market for these types of dinners. I will make it a point to come back anytime I am lucky enough to be in Munich again. Cheers

If you can only go to one fine restaurant in Munich, it is undoubtedly Jan. Almost every aspect is perfect, the food is impeccably delicious and innovative, the desserts are amazing, and the color matching of the dishes is pleasing to the eye. The service is meticulous and thoughtful. I have been there twice, once to celebrate my birthday with friends and once when I went there alone at noon. The perfect service is not awkward even if I go alone. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite good, not particularly depressing but very relaxing.

Why doesn't this restaurant have a star yet? - Food, service and ambience were first class. We'll be back! (Just a note: the sudden loud birthday music for a neighboring table didn't fit with the dignified atmosphere.)

We enjoyed the menu in the studio at the beginning of May. A top performance from the kitchen. Very varied, wonderful aromas and also visually outstanding. The wine accompaniment we chose was excellent; However, it was a bit white wine-heavy. The service staff did a really perfect job. Very attentive, approachable and always with the guest in mind. The studio, if you want to treat yourself to it for the price, is worth a real recommendation. We'll be back ;)

I'm floating in 7th heaven 🫶🏼 The burrata lobster course as an appetizer is absolutely unsurpassed for me. And we have already visited a lot of star restaurants. It was and is always a highlight to dine here in the brasserie. I'm so excited 😍😍😍 We'd love to come here any time 🥰

It was okay. The service wasn't that attentive and we sometimes had to refill the water ourselves and we had to wait forever for drinks. The ambience is nice but not outstanding. Unfortunately, one of the spotlights was very inconveniently placed and shone heavily into my face. The volume in the restaurant is also a lot louder than in other high-quality restaurants. The food was good and nicely prepared.

Unfortunately no photos were taken because we were so busy eating and marveling. 3 hours flew by, our 8 courses were excellent and the service was super nice, pleasant and authentic. Thanks also to my friend who gave me this experience for Christmas - I can only recommend it as a gift idea 😉

We celebrated our wedding here in 2017 and we have wonderful memories. Note to owners: The parking spaces are monitored by Mobility and the signs are very small. We overlooked them on our last visit and received a payment request of €53 a few days later.

A perfect evening at Alois. The 16 courses were all sensational and a taste experience. Many thanks also to Julien Morlat and his team for the wonderful, friendly and uncomplicated service. We also had a lot of fun with the wine pairing. It will be an unforgettable evening for my son and me.

A real experience! We were there for a birthday dinner and had a really great evening! The best service was from Kaleb and the Somelier Maxime. The menu and wine pairing harmonize wonderfully. The ambience is somewhat alternative and modern, more a matter of taste.

I was there for dinner on the last day, and you quickly noticed that both in the kitchen and in the really emotionless service, everyone was completely out of breath. I actually had high hopes, but none of the dishes, which were almost all based on very earthy ingredients, caught the fancy. The wine accompaniment, which wasn't exactly cheap, was also pretty banal.
