Bereits der Gruß aus der Küche war eine wahre Geschmacksexplosion und hat uns auf den Rest des Abends eingestimmt. Die Vorspeisen und Hauptgänge waren ebenso exquisit – wir haben uns entschieden, die Land und Wasser Menüs zu kombinieren und quer zu genießen. Diese Kombination war eine wahre Entdeckung und ein Genuss für die Sinne. Ein ganz besonderer Höhepunkt waren die selbstgemachten Pralinen als süßer Abschluss – eine kreative und köstliche Kreation, die den Abend perfekt abgerundet hat. They not only know the supplier, they also know the animal and accompany it the entire way. People who really want an extraordinary culinary experience at the highest level can expand their taste and sensory horizons here, apart from the haute cuisine typical of many star restaurants, as well as their knowledge of old preparation methods and ancient varieties. Felix Schneider and his team not only pamper and delight, they inspire.

The visit to the Kingfisher was perfect. Both the taste explosion of the dishes with the accompanying wines as well as the friendly and professional staff made us feel completely at home. Thank you very much for that, we would love to come back.

Update It was another nice vacation. The warmth of the entire team at the hotel makes every stay special and relaxing. There are also constant improvements such as the new and expanded buffet area or newly renovated and redesigned rooms. I'm already looking forward to the next vacation. ------ This was my second time at the Bayerwaldhof and I booked again straight away because everything was perfect and I felt completely comfortable. All areas are very inviting, modern and at the same time cozy. I personally think the large outdoor brine pool and the three hot saunas in the wellness area are particularly great. The treatments in the spa were also all carried out very professionally by very nice staff. I was able to relax a lot. The room, the Josefstube, was also very nice and clean. The food in the restaurant fulfilled all wishes and was always very good, whether at breakfast, in the afternoon or at dinner. The cocktails at the bar were always very well mixed. All the staff in the house are very nice and helpful with any questions or requests, so I really enjoyed my vacation and am already looking forward to the next time!

A wonderful evening with an excellent 4-course menu! The “amuse-bouche” was a successful introduction, followed by tender cod with Flöns – a highlight of the intermediate courses. The main course, a perfectly cooked piece of deer meat, was ideally complemented by a full-bodied red wine cuvée. For dessert, a fine sweet dish rounded off the evening harmoniously. The bottle of Chardonnay from Styria impressed with its mineral elegance. Particularly pleasing: Andreas Hillejan, like me, comes from a small village on the Lower Rhine – a charming surprise! Perfect service and pure enjoyment – ​​we’ll be happy to come back!
