I was pleasantly surprised by Hopes – the sports restaurant at ASV Fürth! The burgers were truly delicious and had a great taste. I particularly want to highlight the sweet potato fries – perfectly prepared, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just as you'd expect. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, and you feel very welcome as a guest. For a sports restaurant, the ambiance is also pleasant and inviting – attention to detail has definitely been paid to this place. One minor criticism is the burger buns: They were a bit too thick and some of them didn't seem quite fresh. This somewhat tarnished the overall excellent impression, but it doesn't detract from the restaurant's potential. All in all, a great place for good burgers in a relaxed atmosphere – we'd be happy to come back!

I can only agree with the previous reviewers! The food is truly excellent. From the gyros, to the very crunchy and tasty pita bread and tzatziki to the calamari, everything tasted absolutely excellent. The very friendly owner told us that she cooks everything herself and is freshly made - and you can taste it! Unfortunately, the restaurant still suffers from the stigma of being a “former Pilsner bar”, which scares off many potential guests (unfortunately this was also the case with us). However, I can assure you that a visit here is absolutely worth it and is a great place to stop off. We will definitely come back and bring friends with us!

Pre-ordered there several times. Never been disappointed - these burgers cannot be compared in the slightest with the rubbish from McEss and Co. Excellent quality, excellent taste - simply a delight for spoiled palates. Absolutely delicious - if you haven't tried it yet, you're really missing out!

Die wesentliche Frage stellt sich nicht erst beim Verlassen des Restaurants – sondern bereits beim Ankommen: Fühle ich mich als Gast wirklich willkommen? Bei Tohru in der Schreiberei ist die Antwort ein klares Ja. Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal hier – und jedes Mal erleben wir aufs Neue, was wahre Gastfreundschaft und kulinarische Perfektion bedeuten. Tohru Nakamura und sein Team halten derzeit zwei Michelin-Sterne. Aus unserer Sicht verdient dieses außergewöhnliche Restaurant drei. Warum? Weil hier alles zusammenkommt: großartige Saucen, fantasievolle Gänge, ein sensibles Spiel mit Säure und Textur, eine harmonische Verbindung von japanischer und klassischer Küche – immer mit Fokus auf saisonale und regionale Spitzenprodukte. Doch die Küche allein macht noch keine Drei-Sterne-Erfahrung. Was hier ebenso überzeugt: ein aufmerksamer, nie aufdringlicher Service, ein Ambiente, das dem historischen Gebäude gerecht wird und gleichzeitig modern und offen wirkt, und vor allem – ein Gefühl von Leichtigkeit und tiefer Entspannung über viele Stunden hinweg. Tohru in der Schreiberei ist für uns ein Ort, an dem Kulinarik, Atmosphäre und Herzlichkeit zu einem seltenen Erlebnis verschmelzen. Daher wundern wir uns, dass all das nicht zu genügen scheint. Bis dahin sind wir einfach glückliche Gäste.

Great food, nice people and very inexpensive

Top food and a great place for smaller events and celebrations. The atmosphere is ultra cozy and the great service means I can only recommend the place! The kebab salad is especially delicious 🫢

The coffee here is really, really good! Friendly boss and the general ambience is good - cool silverback on the wall.
