We were there during the week, currently the small plates in the bistro are Japanese inspired. A real treat and prepared with great attention to detail. Plus a wonderfully curated wine list and very friendly and helpful staff. Eating and drinking here is an experience.

My wife and I had an unforgettable anniversary dinner at this restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly special with their warm hospitality and attentive service. The entire experience lasted about three hours, allowing us to fully savor each moment. The breathtaking views and the peaceful ambiance created the perfect setting for a romantic celebration. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate our special day.

Excellent and courteous service, exclusive menu accompanied by high-quality wine (main wine), simply a successful surprise for my husband.

If you can only go to one fine restaurant in Munich, it is undoubtedly Jan. Almost every aspect is perfect, the food is impeccably delicious and innovative, the desserts are amazing, and the color matching of the dishes is pleasing to the eye. The service is meticulous and thoughtful. I have been there twice, once to celebrate my birthday with friends and once when I went there alone at noon. The perfect service is not awkward even if I go alone. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite good, not particularly depressing but very relaxing.

Why doesn't this restaurant have a star yet? - Food, service and ambience were first class. We'll be back! (Just a note: the sudden loud birthday music for a neighboring table didn't fit with the dignified atmosphere.)

Unfortunately! We've been there several times over the last few years. It was always great and we were always 100% satisfied. On February 14th We were back and very disappointed. Now there are “share” appetizers? Means e.g. E.g. there are 6 Minni Pulpo slices on “one” plate that you then have to share. Why ? We used to always enjoy the wonderful "greetings" from the kitchen as a surprise intermediate course... that's no longer the case... Why? Man, Tim... do you really have to save on materials and thereby jeopardize your exclusive, very good ambience? Why? I think 90% of your customers who spend that kind of money on your food are happy to pay €10-20 more. We would certainly like to do that. What we absolutely don't like is the "cost-cutting and rip-off shadow" that hovers behind us when we want to spend an enjoyable, undoubtedly expensive evening with exclusive food. ...Let's see.

It's inconspicuously located in Gostenhof, but the food is excellent and the staff is very friendly. We've booked another table for another special occasion.

The Blue Castle is a wonderful boutique hotel decorated with lots of charm and love. You immediately feel completely comfortable.

We stopped there on our tour to the Altmühltal. Quaint restaurant with extremely attentive service and very tasty food. The prices are high, but not excessive. We really liked it.
