It's been a long time since we had such a lovely evening as the one we had at the Alte Liebe Augsburg at the weekend. The food was indescribably good, as was the service and ambience - thank you very much for the great evening :)

Anyone visiting Nuremberg and the surrounding area should definitely try this unique restaurant in a rustic, traditional style. We were particularly impressed by the numerous amuse bouches. From the start it was a great experience and the menu fully met our high expectations. You can really feel the art of star cuisine here - sophisticated, creative and excellent in taste. We're always happy to come back!

In diesem Jahr wurde Ulrich Heimann, der Küchenchef des PUR (**) im Kempinski Berchtesgaden, mit seinem zweiten Michelin-Stern ausgezeichnet. Grund genug, wieder einmal ins malerische Berchtesgaden zu reisen. Wir bekamen in stilvollem Ambiente ein hervorragendes Degustationsmenü mit vielen Highlights, tollem Handwerk und Spitzenprodukten geboten, insbesondere der Lachs, der Carabinero und der Rehrücken ragten heraus. Was soll man sagen: Die Aufwertung ist hochverdient! 😁 Vielen Dank auch für den tollen Service von Restaurantleiter Christian und Team! Etwas verwunderlich ist die lediglich die recht übersichtliche Weinkarte, vor allem wenn man bedenkt, dass ein großes Hotel hinter dem Restaurant steht. Man findet schon etwas, aber es gibt vergleichsweise wenig trinkreife Highlights.

I spent a very nice evening there alone as a business traveler. I ordered the small bar menu and was more than surprised. In addition to the two very tasty courses (either from the large menus on offer), I was served with many small greetings. Perfect! The bread and fluffy brioche were also a delight. The wine selection and service are very good. I felt comfortable and would like to come back. By the way: The associated hotel, with a very lovingly prepared breakfast, is also a recommendation. The pictures show two of the surprises that just happened! Wonderful!

I had it in my head to eat pork in a star restaurant and where, if not with Ms. Schelling, the true heiress of Tantris. Suckling pig for 14 friends, an expensive dream, a pleasure, apart from the potato dumplings perhaps. No, everything offered here celebrates life. The way Ms. Schelling has been handling fish for years is crazy. Even a Roellinger caves to the spirit of the times, Tantris offers more anonymous nouveau riche cuisine, but the Werneck Hof remains a rock in the surf. One star, we laugh about it, count to three and are happy to come back. This time for the veal, see everything above.

We had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant some time ago. It was an unforgettable experience. The ambience is simply fantastic – a perfect mix of elegance and cosiness. The furnishings are stylish and inviting, so you immediately feel at home. The cuisine is simply excellent. Every dish we tried was a culinary masterpiece. The ingredients were fresh and high quality, and the presentation was a feast for the eyes. Particularly noteworthy is the diversity and creativity of the two menus, which have something to offer for every taste. What we particularly liked was the relaxed and informal atmosphere. Here you can relax and enjoy the food to the fullest without it becoming too stiff or formal. The service was extremely friendly and attentive without being intrusive. All in all, our visit to Restaurant 1804 was a complete success. It is the ideal place to spend a special evening or simply enjoy good food in pleasant company. I can only warmly recommend it!

Every single thing from taste of food, to presentation, to service and ambience was beyond our expectation. We recommended the place to some of our friends already. Looking forward to coming back to Mountain Hub Gourmet again.

Food started strong, but then I think the flavors tapered off. Usually water/coffee is included at such local places, unfortunately this was not the case here. Otherwise a very nice evening - deductions clearly due to the location, the toilets, the ambience and the food - the price/performance ratio isn't quite right and one of the service people wasn't very attentive, the rest was great.

Exclusive place, magnificent view, great hotel and exquisite cuisine.

Dear Rottner family, Our families have now known each other for three generations. We were able to experience many family celebrations, musical breakfasts and cozy evenings in the Rottner house. Even today, for my mother's 88th birthday, everything was great... even the little things, like the greeting from the kitchen with warm bread with a perfect crust and fine crumb, were designed with the same passion as the delicious starters and the finest main courses and were prepared as always accompanied by unobtrusive, friendly service. The sorbet variations were a final poem... Thank you for a lovely evening.

We were able to enjoy the “DNA of the house” with the Laib&Seele menu. Really recommended, great interpretations of regional cuisine prepared with the highest level of craftsmanship and served in a friendly manner. Very nice ambience in the “cellar”, the charm that this place exudes is captured and reflected in every employee. You immediately feel comfortable and can recharge and relax while enjoying yourself. The (sometimes surprising) wine accompaniment goes wonderfully with the dishes and ensures a well-rounded culinary experience!

Good weekend recommendation spot for a nice evening

The food and service at Essigbratlein is brilliant and should not be missed if visiting Nuremburg. Each dish was fresh and appealing. The hotel director at the Drei Raben where we stayed discovered we were dining at Essigbratlein and he was extremely enthusiastic telling us how the vegetables would “explode” with deliciousness and exquisite flavors. He was totally accurate! This restaurant was one of the highlights of our dining experiences on a long road trip through Austria and Germany. It would be our top pick to return and experience again. The wine pairing was also wonderful and my partner who doesn’t care for alcohol loved the non-alcoholic beverage pairing. I believe our dining experience lasted about 4 hours and we loved every minute. Vielen Dank! Bravo to the chefs and entire staff!

We stayed here during our spring break and highly recommend The Pantry. A very warm and friendly, but never intrusive service accompanied us through an excellent culinary evening. We had a lot of fun, delicious food and matching wine. We would love to come back
