The black pudding hash brown from the restaurant menu was the reason for my detour via Nördlingen. The detour was worth it: the beer was excellent, pale ale style, a glass of rose wine with the "main course," and a gin and tonic to finish it off – everything was well-rounded and delicious. I would swap the orchids in the large vases for floral decorations; as a florist, I can't help it, sorry. I absolutely recommend this restaurant!

I went to Meyers Keller with a group of 14 people. It was a wonderful evening. I highly recommend the restaurant.

The brunch took place on the Malzboden - with beautiful lighting and candlelight! We had a cozy place - with very good service! Coffee brewed on site - brilliant! Aperitif was delicious 😋! Unfortunately there was a lot going on at the small buffet - we have to complain that there weren't enough plates! No matter when we were at the buffet, only bowls were available! We would have liked more choice at the "Kaiserbrunch" - as many things, such as salmon, were not refilled! The subsequent menu was very tasty! 😋 All in all, we had a lovely, entertaining Sunday in Meyer's Keller and would love to come back! 🥰

At the "after work" event, in the wonderful beer garden, we had nice conversations and didn't enjoy snacks as written, but 5 smaller courses, each one super delicious, the personal highlight was the gazpacho with jalapeno foam... and the culatello butter with bread is always delicious... we'd love to come back soon

Great food from great people in a great atmosphere

A wonderful brunch with friends in gorgeous weather! We sat outside with a great view, received super friendly service, and even had a chance to chat with the chef. The brunch concept is unique: first, a delicious breakfast with all the trimmings, followed by a creative 5-course menu. Everything was fresh, lovingly prepared, and very tasty. The staff was attentive, and our requests were immediately accommodated. A clear recommendation – we'll be back!

You'd expect a restaurant of this kind to cater to vegetarians as well. Unfortunately, there wasn't a single vegetarian dish on the menu (in 2025!!), and even when I asked, I couldn't be offered an alternative. At least they did have two children's dishes. For us, not having anything for vegetarians was a no-go. They need to keep up with the times. What a shame!

The evening was absolutely wonderful, especially since the weather cooperated. We shared several appetizers, which were absolutely excellent. For my main course, I chose the fish, which I was a little disappointed with. Not only were there a few bones, but the seasoning was also a bit bland, so the fish couldn't hold its own against the amazing appetizers. We'll definitely be back, even if it means we have to travel an hour.

I was at Jockel Kaiser's today for a business lunch. We were given a surprise menu. "4-5 small courses?" he asked us, to which we replied yes. And once again, it was absolutely fantastic!

Unfortunately, two main course items weren't available as advertised, but the alternatives were still delicious. A phenomenally good dessert was the curd soufflé: unbeatably good.

The Kaiser's collaboration with the North German guest chef Mike Süsser was a real highlight, not only from a culinary perspective, but also from an interpersonal perspective. It was a bit like the food and the wine that was served with it: powerful on its own - but when combined together it had a very special effect. The food was just wonderful. Every course is prepared with dedication and tastes at the highest level. In harmony with the respective dishes, the wine accompaniment unfolded in all its depth and made the culinary experience complete. For me personally, the saddle of venison was the absolute highlight: tender, sweet, fantastic in taste, perfectly accompanied by the puree - and simply fantastic with the wine served with it. The icing on the cake is the port wine surprise at the end. The chefs: true artists! The service team: attentive, friendly and professional – it couldn’t be better. Having something like this in Nördlingen is a real treasure! Thank you for this great experience – I’m already looking forward to the next time!

It was a really great evening in a relaxed atmosphere with very nice guests. The two chefs conjured up a menu that was fantastic. You could feel the passion, the courage and a lot of heart and soul for cooking. The wine pairing was excellent. ... one thing in advance: Meyers Keller is not only worth a stop, but definitely worth a detour. We went there three times this weekend because there was just too much to discover for just one visit. Here, in all the rooms, we cook both tavern cuisine "at its best" and star cuisine with an incredible amount of craftsmanship and absolutely in tune with the times. Jockl and his kitchen team manage to make every single food on the plate tangible and tasty and to present it in combination to create a real tongue circus. With the best food and the credo quality comes before regionality. The wine selection, presented by two committed and friendly young hosts (Lena and Nick), is also super exciting and, above all, SUUUPER fairly priced. You can drink wines here at prices that are otherwise only available with a deep pocket in this type of gastronomy. I could mention a lot more, such as the brunch on Sunday, which ends with a 5-course menu for only 89.00 euros and many other great events. You can already tell that I have fallen in love a little bit, and not just with the restaurant, but also with the lovely people who run this restaurant with absolute passion (Jockl and Evelin) and the people in the kitchen and service who put their personal stamp on the restaurant. Just great!

Simply great! We had the Body & Soul menu and were thrilled. The service is very relaxed, warm and at the same time very professional. The ambience is great. We definitely want to come back!!! (Only the toilets could use a renovation, but they were clean, so I don't want to deduct a star because the rest was just so great.)

We were there twice during the Easter holidays. Once we brought friends with us. All in all worth the trip. Everything was wonderful at the first appointment. The second one somehow had a worm in it. Well, everyone has a bad day.

This was our first time at the Eat to the Beat event. The overall package was brilliant. Price/performance was right. We bought tickets to the summer party straight away.

A fantastic experience! The restaurant has a beautiful, authentic setting on top of a hill with great views. The staff is extremely friendly, and the chef personally checks in with guests, which makes it special. The wine list is excellent, and the menu includes some classic dishes with a unique twist. No unnecessary fuss—just pure, relaxed enjoyment. We had a wonderful time!

We enjoyed the excellent food in a very pleasant atmosphere. The service adapted to this, only the wines fell off a bit.

We would like to thank you for a very high quality brunch.. this formulation doesn't do the brunch justice.. it was incredibly tasty.. Great service, even the boss was present and always ready to provide information. Even a second dessert is no problem. Or bringing your own products is no problem! Main course was massively disappointing, potato croquette filled with "doner meat" is not a main course. The rest was great.

What a great event. Nördlingen meets after work. Great idea in a great location. Nice evening with Jockl Kaiser and his always nice and attentive team. Great aromatic dishes. This evening there will be great Mallorcan wines with a nice presentation. I'd love to come back soon.

An all-round successful evening. We had the menu “With loaf and soul”. The individual courses were excellent. We will come again. The atmosphere was also extremely pleasant. We felt very comfortable and were able to enjoy every course.

We ate there as part of a wedding. The menu consisted (simplified) of a gaspacho with jalapeno foam, a pollock with Bolognese sauce, an onion roast and the famous Kaiserschmarrn. The taste of the soup was very good, but for me the taste of olive oil in the jalapeno foam predominated a little too much. Perhaps a more neutral oil would not have masked the flavor of the jalapenos so much at this point. The fish was served in an unusual combination for me, which surprised me more than positively. Very well made and tasted. The onion roast was also well prepared, I suspect suevite cooked. The sauce served with it was rather standard and a little too little for my taste, but the Maultaschen was excellent. I would have liked some fresh pepper with it, but that's complaining at a very high level. The Kaiserschmarrn needs no further words - more than a clear recommendation. The service was impeccable, exemplary and fast - very good, my praise to the service staff. What needs to be improved a lot in my opinion is how the beer is served. Hefeweizen, Helles and Pils from the wine glass. I have no understanding whatsoever. However, I would be happy to be proven wrong. I'd love to come back to redeem my voucher. I look forward to it.

We had a small family reunion with 14 people from all over Germany. The "Lust und Mood" menu turned out to be exactly the right choice for us - vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Everyone was enthusiastic about the food and wine, we had fun in a friendly atmosphere, the atmosphere was simply great for the occasion and the service was perfect. Expectations fully met!

We were able to enjoy the “DNA of the house” with the Laib&Seele menu. Really recommended, great interpretations of regional cuisine prepared with the highest level of craftsmanship and served in a friendly manner. Very nice ambience in the “cellar”, the charm that this place exudes is captured and reflected in every employee. You immediately feel comfortable and can recharge and relax while enjoying yourself. The (sometimes surprising) wine accompaniment goes wonderfully with the dishes and ensures a well-rounded culinary experience!

Very tasty food, both the menu I had and the dishes my wife chose. Surprisingly large portions, great, friendly service. The rooms are nice, including the beer garden-like outdoor area. The only point of criticism: the toilets are extremely simple.

Meyers Keller truly deserves its Michelin star! It's been a long time since I've felt so comfortable in a restaurant and eaten so incredibly well at the same time.

Ambience: great / very successful Service and friendliness: top Food: the greeting from the kitchen was super awesome, so I think the boys can cook really well. However - which I very much regret - I didn't choose anything from the menu, but the Wiener Schnitzel. Unfortunately, that was a ready meal. After eating 2 of the 3 "slices" I had heartburn for several hours. I would like to come again and experience some of the real cooking skills. Then I would like to give more stars.

The young lady's service was excellent. The two tavern classics, Wiener Schnitzel and Maultaschen, that we had are convenience food at high prices and on the table in no time. Sparkling tap water, which is listed as giant water on the menu, is overpriced. We liked the decor of the restaurant. Investing any more in the commentary would be a waste of time, we definitely won't be coming back.

It started with a delicious beer as an aperitif, then a cold Franciacorta with the CULATELLO (a must)... the food at Jockl is more than delicious and the service from his wife Evelyn is courteous and competent. Meyers Keller is always worth a trip for us.

Great star restaurant on the edge of Nördlingen

Very tasty menu. Except for the 'interesting' lamb's lettuce, everything was delicious and attractively prepared. Great location and highly recommended.

Nice restaurant, you sit relaxed in a large room with enough space for the next table. The service was good, friendly and had a personal touch. The food was very good and price/performance is ok. Unfortunately (as is often the case) the toilets were not up to standard.
