We eat here regularly. In my opinion, it's the best Indian restaurant in the area. Cozy, authentic atmosphere, attentive service, super-friendly owners, and, of course, delicious food.

Excellent Indian meals, extensive food and drink menu. Very friendly service. All in all, highly recommended. Located in the heart of Nördlingen's old town.

I ordered the Butter Chicken for dinner here – and it was simply fantastic! The sauce was wonderfully creamy, perfectly seasoned, and had just the right balance of sweetness and spice. The chicken was tender and juicy – you can tell that the food is cooked with quality and love. The service was also very friendly and attentive, and the ambiance in the restaurant is inviting – warm, cozy, and decorated in a typically Indian style. I will definitely be back and can recommend the Butter Chicken to anyone who loves authentic Indian food!

The food tastes really bad by far this is the worst Indian restaurant and overpriced The butter chicken masala taste like water Even the chicken was uncooked. I dont recommend you eating there.

We had a butter chicken, a chicken tikka masala, a garlic naan with pulao rice: everything was so good. The service was great, too.

We came here for lunch as a couple and had a very comfortable experience. The menu is extensive, and you can combine meat and vegetable dishes with the sauce you like. The service was very friendly and attentive.

Yesterday I had dinner here with 3 people, the food was good, you can't say anything but I find the menu a bit confusing in the sense that there is a lot on it but most of the dishes are almost the same.... They have beef on the menu in India, I thought it was a cow sanctuary. Sorry for the harsh review. Well, we also found something unpleasant in the food - there are enough of them on the floor at the hairdresser. But it can also happen sometimes. We didn't say anything to the waitress and even gave a tip, but in moderation of course. I don't think I'll come anymore.

When I arrived at Nordlingen and parked in the parking lot, I was greeted by the delicious smell of curry when I got out. Of course I chose it for my first meal! The staff are friendly and the place is clean. Seekh kabab has little odor and is delicious! There was plenty of curry too ^^

The employees are very nice, polite and courteous. The food is absolutely delicious and also cheap, especially at lunchtime. The menu is super vegan marked. There are some vegan dishes :-)

We were here as tourists because a local recommended the restaurant to us. In short, the food was just perfect. The portions are a decent size and I say that as someone who eats a lot. The prices are also extremely good, especially for the drinks. The waiters/staff are very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxed, although we were there during the week.

Located in the central part of Nördllingen, Taj Mahal provides good and tasty food. The staff here are super friendly. You also have a common free park Platz near by. Strongly recommend to try varieties of breads (roti & naan) they have.

In Germany, almost all restaurants were closed on Monday. We chose this place and we're glad we did. It was very successful, there was a lot of variety. The service was also very fast.

I don't know why I don't give it 5★, but I-what tells me 5 would be too much. It's probably because I've been to India several times and I miss the intensity of the taste. I still find this Indian restaurant very good and recommended. Tip for those who are not familiar with Indian cuisine, just order Tali - there are various dishes there.

Von der Begrüßung über Präsentation der Gerichte bis hin zu Aufmerksamkeit während wir gespeist haben hat uns alles hier positiv überzeugt. Das geschmacklich hervorragenes Essen war schnell und heiß serviert. Die 5 Sterne sind hier wohlverdient, klare Empfehlung!

Ich war gestern geschäftlich beim Essen in diesem Restaurant. Wie bei Indern üblich, richten diese ihre Restaurants mit ihrem speziellen Flair ein. Deko, die typische Musik (irgendwie schaffe ich es immer am Lautsprecher zu sitzen 😂) Ich persönlich brauche es nicht - aber es ist halt Geschmackssache. Die Speisekarte ist schön übersichtlich. Die Klassiker sind darin natürlich auch zu finden. Viele Currygerichte - auch reichlich Auswahl für Vegetarier. Ich mag generell diese Art Küche. Es wird auch klar darauf hingewiesen ob etwas scharf bzw nicht scharf ist . 🌶️ Chillis geben den Schärfegrad an. Ich habe mir die Okraschoten mit kräftiger Currysauce bestellt. Dazu Reis als Beilage und ein Nanbrot Curry war lecker - in meinen Augen etwas mau - hätte mir mehr Würze gewünscht. Aber okay, trotzdem gut Brot sehr lecker Reis (gut - aber fehlt auch etwas Geschmack/Gewürz) Saftschorle war lecker (Maracuja) Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend Summa summarum: Solider guter Inder Für 5 Sterne reicht es nicht ganz - 4,5* Gerne wieder

Wij hebben hier heerlijk Indiaas gegeten. We hadden de chana masala (kikkererwtencurry) en palak paneer (spinaziecurry met paneer), die waren allebei erg goed. Ook de pappadum en naan waren erg lekker. De bediening is vriendelijk en erg attent, de inrichting binnen is gezellig en er is een leuk terras. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding voor het middagmenu is erg goed. Je krijgt bij het hoofdgerecht zelfs een soep en een dessert.
