Lifesaver – on a very windy and almost deserted day, we unexpectedly stumbled upon this fantastic food truck after the overly dramatic words "I'll die if I don't eat something soon!" Very friendly lady and excellent spaetzle at a good price. Thank you!
Met up with my friend and his family for lunch, and in the process stumbled upon a little gem of a bistro that felt like it had been hiding in plain sight. To my surprise, it was my very first time trying Brazilian cuisine and honestly, what a way to start. Consider me spoiled for life.
The service was quick, but more importantly, the chef and his partner radiated warmth. You know the kind of people who make you feel like you’ve been invited into their home kitchen? Exactly that.
I went for the Feijoada Bowl, while my friend’s crew ordered Tortilla Española, Estofado de carne and Moqueca de Peixe. Naturally, I made sure to “help” them with their plates purely for research purposes, of course. Every dish was delicious, and sharing bites only made it better.
All in all, a lovely meal with good friends, great food, and the kind of hospitality that leaves your stomach full and your heart fuller.
Perfect all around!
We went there three times this week because we were so satisfied. The service is excellent, and the food is divine. We tried everything from soups, salads, tarte flambée, schnitzel, and mushroom noodles, and everything was delicious.
The vegetarian selection is fantastic, and the desserts are also incredibly delicious.
The drinks menu leaves nothing to be desired—I especially recommend the homemade cucumber and basil lemonade and the latte macchiato.
The ambiance is quaint and cozy, creating a family-friendly atmosphere.
This restaurant is an absolute must!👌
Hello everyone,
At the beginning of September, it was time again to head towards Bella Italia. However, on our journey from northern Germany to the Adriatic, shortly before our first stopover, we received a message from the engine compartment that we couldn't continue our journey in the French car that had carried us for the first 600 kilometers. So, we made a more than involuntary stop in Ingolstadt. Starving from the day's exertions and facing an uncertain future, a glimmer of hope, red as tomato sauce, would soon appear on the horizon. Mario welcomed us with open arms and, within minutes, conjured up the finest pizza and burgers. I, for my part, opted for a solid pizza. The Coke from the traditional aluminum can was also impressive. Even though Mario hadn't promised us anything beforehand, he exceeded every expectation with his craftsmanship and, at least culinary-wise, saved the day. Thank you Mario, thank you Ingolstadt, thank you Citroen.
see you at the next breakdown
I can only agree with the previous reviewers!
The food is truly excellent.
From the gyros, to the very crunchy and tasty pita bread and tzatziki to the calamari, everything tasted absolutely excellent.
The very friendly owner told us that she cooks everything herself and is freshly made - and you can taste it!
Unfortunately, the restaurant still suffers from the stigma of being a “former Pilsner bar”, which scares off many potential guests (unfortunately this was also the case with us).
However, I can assure you that a visit here is absolutely worth it and is a great place to stop off.
We will definitely come back and bring friends with us!
