The place it’s in a beautiful are in Cologne, with terrace outside. We chose the inside with plenty of space. We ordered the XXL pork knuckle with mashed potatoes and chucrut. We got Coca-Cola and surprisingly was big glass! And we shared, as was big portion and enough for us two. Price was good for the portion and waiters where very friendly! Really delicious

Die Ofenkartoffel mit Sauercreme war lieblos serviert. In einem tiefen Teller lag eine nicht aufgeschnittene grössere und eine kleinere Kartoffel, vermischt mit Salat und die Sauercreme auf alles drübergegeben. Die Champignons, auf der Speisekarte extra aufgeführt, konnte man suchen. Das Essen ist stark verbesserungswürdig. Übrigens, der Salat war zu sauer.

Went there spontaneously to eat. Despite having many reservations, we still got a seat at another table. The food was good and plentiful, the salad was very fresh. We didn't have to wait long for the food. As with everywhere in Monschau, it was a bit more expensive. Very attentive and friendly staff. Please note that no payment by credit card is possible, but you can use a normal EC card. Disabled-friendly toilet. Cozy and service-oriented shop. Recommended

The waiters ignore you, even though they're staring right at you. Apparently, you have to flick your noses in front of them like you do with dogs to get them to respond. Well, we're not animal trainers—we waited in vain for someone to bring us a menu or at least ask for drinks. Finally, we left, wasting our time. We spent an entire hour trying in vain to get the staff's attention from our tables and at the bar.

I specifically asked if the sauces were made fresh. Instead I got an ice-cold sauce because it wasn't in the microwave long enough. That says it all.
