We ate there for the first time last night! The food was fresh, super tasty and the steak was on point! The dessert was heavenly! Pleasant atmosphere and very friendly service! Will definitely come back!!

Delicious chip shop food, just like we appreciate and love here on the edge of the Ruhr area. Super nice owner couple and employees. Rustic ambience, as befits a decent chip shop. Special requests are always possible, a wide selection of food and drinks, even home-cooked lunch. Price is reasonable, nothing gets cheaper and compared to other chip shops it's great value for money. In summer you can even get your wheat beer in iced glasses. In summer there is nice and surprisingly quiet seating outside under a large parasol with chairs that are also suitable for larger people. Extremely clean toilets. My recommendation: chili cheese meatball with onions, pepper cream schnitzel or giant cheeseburger. By the way, the raw vegetable salad is freshly made with a lot of love by the owner. They serve real Coca-Cola, not some newfangled stuff. Real currywurst needs real Coca-Cola. Zero for all I care. WARNING: If you don't like this kind of thing, you can go to the nearest kebab shop and hope to be happy there. ;-) P.S. Ingolfs Futterstube is one of the last real chip shops in the southern Borken district, without any new culinary bells and whistles that you don't need after your shift with a hungry stomach anyway. Absolute recommendation from me, because I know all the chip stables within a 50km radius. Herbert Grönemeyer would have thought of Ingolf's feeding room while singing Jürgen von der Lippe's song "Currywurst" if it had already existed back then. Super lecker gegessen, sehr sympathische Besitzer die auch vegane Kunden gleich behandeln wie die fleischesser was immer noch nicht üblich ist. Am Schluss auch noch ein Lob an die Bedienung. Hätte eigentlich 6 Sterne verdient 😀

After you have easily parked your car near the restaurant, you enter the ancient inn and almost feel like you have been transported to another time. In a positive sense. The waitress welcomes you straight away and you end up in one of the guest rooms, which are slightly separated from each other, and the evening can begin. The menu is clear, but there is something for everyone. There are also daily specials on offer on a regular basis. Most of the ingredients seem to come from the surrounding area. The companies that work with the restaurant fill up a lot of space. There were three of us and we tried three different dishes. Plus a soup and two desserts. We all really enjoyed it. Three thumbs up. The prices of the dishes are above average, but the taste of the main courses in particular is worth every cent. The soup was also very good, but “one euro” less would do the trick. I actually found my dessert, the Violet Trio, to be too expensive for what it was worth. Didn't pick me up and I PERSONALLY wouldn't order again. What we found very pleasant: You weren't dispatched in a hurry, but had a little more time between dishes than normal to enjoy the evening... and the bottom line was that it was wonderful👌. Since there are still a few things on the menu that appeal to us, we will definitely spend one or more lovely evenings there again.
