We spontaneously went there for dinner this evening and it certainly won't be the last time there. The owners are very, very friendly and the sushi is really, really good. We had various rolls and previously tuna tartare. Everything was very fresh and extremely tasty! It's not exactly cheap there, but the quality is worth it. We paid almost €100 for one drink, but we went home very satisfied. We'll be back...

We went to the Altes Brauhaus for the first time today and left full and satisfied. We had a super juicy schnitzel and delicious pljeskavica. The service was very friendly! And the price is absolutely right. We'd love to come back!

I've been a customer since it opened five years ago and Two Eggs Jian Bing is probably my favorite place in Essen for a snack. Jian Bing is an omelette filled with salad, crispy bread and various toppings of your choice. In the end the whole thing resembles a savory filled crepe. I like Jian Bing very much and I think it is a refreshing new addition to the culinary landscape in Germany. The crispy bread and the hot sauce are particularly delicious. The restaurant is run by the owners themselves. Both are very friendly and warm people. The shop is very small. The kitchen already takes up half of the room. There is only a table with four chairs for seating. You sit directly at the checkout area. It is therefore more worthwhile to take your Jian Bing with you to Hirschlandplatz on dry days and enjoy it on one of the benches there. The decoration is also very cute and has a kawaii feel. I highly recommend Two Eggs Jian Bing to everyone.

We went to Chimichurri today and absolutely loved it. All dishes are cooked with love and everything is homemade. It was a real fireworks display of enjoyment. Thank you

Lovingly furnished snack bar where the owner and his wife lend a hand and cook with passion Located in the idyllic Erle, with a lovely little beer garden. Found it by chance while passing through and found it to be good and recommended!

The food was delicious. What's a shame is that the online menu isn't up-to-date; it's been reduced considerably. There are only meat dishes now, no pizza, pasta, casseroles, or burgers. There used to be a much better selection. It's a shame.

The ambience is very nicely done. Clean and tastefully decorated. The service is nice and polite but seems a bit overwhelmed, even though it wasn't that busy when we were there. My tip here would be to play less on your cell phone when there are three of you standing behind the counter. Unfortunately, the food wasn't convincing. The schnitzel looked like it was a convenience product. The breading was very compact on the schnitzel and the color was not good. There is still a lot of room for improvement here and, above all, more air in the breading. The taste was ok but nothing why I should go here again Update to the comment: Even with a little oil you can still fry it with a nice color, but why you don't do it remains a mystery to me. The fries certainly don't come out of the hot air fryer... regardless, it works great with less oil...

ViVo's is a very cozy restaurant that mainly serves Syrian specialties. This nice family business took the time to explain Syrian cuisine to us. The starter plates in particular are very tasty and varied with various dips, vegetables, cheese puff pastry rolls and hummus. The Syrian main courses are a hit! Whether vegetarian or with chicken or veal, it was very tasty and plentiful. We recommend ViVo's and would be happy to come back.

I was there for the first time yesterday with my boyfriend, the food was really tasty and there was a lot of it ❤️ the service was really nice and totally attentive, there was a lot going on at this point 😊 the coffee was also really tasty and the beer too. The shop is also really nice and cozy.

This small, inconspicuous bar/restaurant really surprised us very pleasantly. Delicious food at fair prices and very friendly service. Is definitely a recommended location.
