Was there for the first time today. The food and drinks were excellent. A very nice and quiet place.

The place is truly top-notch. The service, the food, everything was great. We discovered the place by chance and will definitely come back. We've already planned what we'll have next time!

We tried ViVo's out of curiosity. I have to say, we weren't disappointed. The menu offered a wide selection, the service was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive, and the food was truly delicious. This was my first encounter with traditional Syrian cuisine, and I have to say, it definitely won't be my last. The restaurant has both an indoor and an outdoor area, which is beautifully designed. In total, we paid around €75 for two people for the starter, main course, dessert, and drinks, which is definitely a fair price. This won't be our last visit.

I came across this restaurant by chance via Google Maps. The food is absolutely amazing! This is the second time I've been there. The starter with the bread and the sauce made from walnuts, etc. is to eat. The yogurt soup (No. 12) is the tastiest soup ever and this first dessert (angel hair, cream, ice cream, pistachios) is world class.

I'm just thrilled. The service was so good and the employees were very friendly and the food came quite quickly. I initially thought it wouldn't taste as good since it was ready so quickly, but it was one of the best grilled dishes I've ever had! The boss kept coming to the customers' tables and asking if everything was OK and also chatted a bit. I wholeheartedly recommend this store. I was really excited and pleased to see that there are still people who do their job with heart.

I was there a while ago and still think about going there again almost every week. The food is just something different and not absolutely standard, that's what makes it so great! The food is delicious, the service is incredibly friendly and quick, the atmosphere is warm and inviting and, above all, the arrangement of the tables means it's not so loud that you practically have to shout at each other. I thought it was really great!

The Vivos in Recklinghausen is really an insider tip! The food tastes really delicious – you immediately notice that everything is freshly prepared. The selection is great, there is something for everyone, and the atmosphere is totally pleasant. Whether with friends or family, you immediately feel at home. As guests from Croatia, we are absolutely delighted with the food. It's our first time in a Syrian restaurant because we don't have that type of restaurant at home. The food is tasty and light. The portions are big, and the wine is correct. Pleasant experience.

We were the only guests. The atmosphere is a bit sterile, but clean and inviting. The food tasted quite good, but it was obviously pre-cooked and was simply thrown out of the storage box onto the plate and served like that - embarrassing. All in all, the price-performance ratio was not right. The menu on the homepage is no longer up to date.

Great Syrian cuisine in a very pleasant atmosphere and friendly service! We had kibbeh in yogurt soup and a grilled lamb skewer. The meat was tender, pink and cooked to perfection. As a starter there was a tabbouleh salad with flatbread. Delicious! But my special recommendation goes to the yogurt soup with veal and kibbeh. This is really something special and cannot be compared with, for example, Turkish yogurt soup. I also had frikeh, a type of roasted grain. Rarely eaten so tasty, healthy and high quality. There are two versions of the kibbeh. One hot with chilies, the other milder with pomegranate. Both species are fantastic. We are thrilled and look forward to the next time! Full recommendation!👍

ViVo's is a very cozy restaurant that mainly serves Syrian specialties. This nice family business took the time to explain Syrian cuisine to us. The starter plates in particular are very tasty and varied with various dips, vegetables, cheese puff pastry rolls and hummus. The Syrian main courses are a hit! Whether vegetarian or with chicken or veal, it was very tasty and plentiful. We recommend ViVo's and would be happy to come back.

Super tasty and very friendly service. After I read an article about it in the newspaper, we finally went. We ordered the mixed starter plate (lovingly presented and every dip was delicious, but the garlic cream and Muhammara were the best), Kibbeh (new to us and really tasty!), Kibbeh Labaniyeh (a warm yogurt soup with veal - one of the best dishes ever I've had lately) and Kabab Kheshkhash (good). Portions were large, we took some home with us. The service was very attentive and friendly, as was the owner. Facilities are also very nice and modern. We are usually disappointed by the restaurants in Recklinghausen (either by the service or the quality of the food), but not here at all. We'll be back very soon!!!

Went here for the first time with three friends. We came up with it because of the extremely good reviews and the interest in trying out Syrian cuisine. As soon as you enter the (still) empty restaurant at 6 p.m., you notice a very pleasant and clean atmosphere, along with tasteful furniture (also extremely comfortable) and a nice room layout. The room tapers towards the back and ends in an open extra room for about a dozen people. Our waitress, who is probably Syrian, explains the individual dishes to us when we ask, being reserved but attentive throughout Course of the evening. The cold starter plate for two people (€19.90) was ordered by us for four, which was quite sufficient if you wanted to choose a main course, plus it was very tasty: dips, grape leaves, dough rolls and enough Arabic bread, a perfect start !Of course there are also other typical soups, salads and starters. The main courses fall under typical Syrian, international and grill, although I prefer a mixed one Meat skewer plate (chicken, veal and lamb) with fries and a side salad was chosen, which at €20.90 was also the most expensive individual dish. For the quality and quantity, an almost outrageously low price, as was the whole evening anyway including several drinks (homemade lemonade, water for everyone, beers and at the end fresh mint tea) was incredibly low at 120€ for four people. By the way, the beers are neither mentioned on the menu nor on the website There is an extra beer menu. There are also wines, cocktails and mocktails. An absolute recommendation for people who are looking for a pleasant and quiet atmosphere for great food and drink at absolutely reasonable prices. You will see me there more often in the future!

A new classic not far from the center of Recklinghausen. I usually visit this restaurant whenever I am in the area, and every time I go, they surprise me with the friendliness of the service and the great quality of the food. The mixed starters are anthology, simply fabulous (don't leave this place without having tried them). Both the traditional Syrian food section and the grilled options are great; The last time I went I opted for a kebab, and it was wonderful. The food is usually abundant, but if you have some space left, also try the desserts, especially the traditional ones, which are very worth it. I usually go in summer, and the atmosphere in the small Biergarten they have right next to the place is pleasant and pleasant. A great addition to the city's gastronomic scene!

I discovered this restaurant by chance and was there with a second person. Staff is very nice, hospitable and accommodating. The ambience is modern and you have the option to enjoy the food in the restaurant or outside in the garden (which I would also recommend) in the backyard. Modern tables and seats and a very pleasant place to sit, especially outside if you want to enjoy the weather, because you are surrounded by plants and flowers, which makes the whole thing very authentic. The food was very good, the portions were large and the taste didn't disappoint at all. We ordered Vivo's Grill menu as well as Freekeh with rice, meat and nuts. To drink we had Caipirinha and a homemade lemonade drink with strawberries. Overall, I would give the whole thing a 10 on a scale of 10. So gladly again. 👍🏻

This restaurant is by far one of the best places to enjoy authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. I know this because I have tried many of them. It's a family-run establishment and the owner told me that she puts her heart into every dish she prepares for her guests. You can tell because you can taste it. Were there as part of an Art Night and ate afterwards. Location is cozy and the staff is nice. Fries and vegetables were very good, but the meat (minced meat skewers) was unfortunately a little weakly seasoned, so 1 star less for the meal. All in all we can only recommend it. Very tasty food and nice service. You wouldn't expect from the outside that there is a beautiful beer garden spread over several levels. The mixed starters for 2 are an absolute recommendation. Each dish is perfectly balanced and offers different flavor nuances. Lots of choice for vegetarians, but rather small portions for the price, so order a little more. Everything tastes fantastic!
