ViVo's is a very cozy restaurant that mainly serves Syrian specialties. This nice family business took the time to explain Syrian cuisine to us. The starter plates in particular are very tasty and varied with various dips, vegetables, cheese puff pastry rolls and hummus. The Syrian main courses are a hit! Whether vegetarian or with chicken or veal, it was very tasty and plentiful. We recommend ViVo's and would be happy to come back.
Was there with my wife. Ordered a doner plate.
Positive: The fries and the tzatziki were good.
There was even cherry ayran in the drinks fridge.
Negative: The meat was dry, tasteless and the salad had no taste.
In addition, there wasn't really a large portion on the plate.
The meat was also only at room temperature.
The cocktail dressing we ordered for the salad wasn't put on it either.
The owners (at least I think) were very nice.
Then came the hammer when paying. THIRTY euros!!!
That was the first but also the last time we were guests there...
A thoroughly enjoyable evening! The food was outstanding, the service attentive and with a charming touch of humor. We were particularly impressed by the excellent selection and matching of the wines. The atmosphere was stylish yet cozy—perfect for relaxed conversation for two. Highly recommended; we'll definitely be back!
My favorite snack bar with good food and friendly staff. It's worth taking a look at the weekly menu, which often includes hearty and interesting dishes.
