Everything was great, but if you want to eat gyros on the weekend, you should make a reservation in advance and let them know or come earlier 😉

We went to the Elektro Museum on Sunday with two families and had dinner here on the way back with 8 of us. We thought it was great. The owners are simply TOP. Very family friendly. Definitely worth a recommendation.

Friendly, tasty and reasonable portions!

So what can I say... Spent €70 for 5 people and the food went straight into the trash. The fries were too salty, as was the hunter's sauce. The gyros were partly undercooked and gristly. The farmer's salad was simply cut large enough to make the plate look nice and full... sorry, but that was unfortunately the last time :/

Super delicious snack bar, they know their stuff. The best souvlaki skewers around, super friendly staff, and very generous portions are great value for money. They're from Essen, and for such delicious products, I'd happily drive 20 km 👍👍😃

We ordered for the first time and were very happy with our gyro plate. Very tasty and large portion, very tasty coleslaw, meat not greasy and not dry! It wasn't the last time. Poly Kalo!!!

It's a small but very cozy shop and the service is really very nice. I can only recommend this shop to everyone. And the food is also very, very tasty.

Greek enjoyment with a pinch of indifference – an unforgettable experience! An experience in a class of its own! The warm welcome (presumably from the owner himself) let us know straight away: we are not welcome here - a real insider tip for everyone who likes to be ignored. The choice of salad for the dish? An interactive guessing game! We said what we wanted, but of course we got something completely different - surprise included. When I politely pointed out that it wasn't what I had ordered, there was a bonus charming saying: "Then next time you'll have to say how you'd like it!" – Customer service at the highest level! The promised waiting time of 20 minutes? Oh, why such a hurry! We were able to enjoy an impressive 40 minutes while other guests (who happened to just be picking up their food) were given priority. Of course, online orders took precedence - as a normal guest you can stew in the corner for a bit. And then the food – a feast for the taste buds! The fries looked seasoned but tasted like... air? Bifteki? A true homage to the Sahara. Souvlaki? Yes, it was okay - and that's a big compliment. The gyro? Well, there are certainly better ones in Recklinghausen, but hey, at least the portion size was “okay”. Conclusion: If you like to be ignored, like exciting waiting times and love a little Russian roulette when ordering - definitely go! For everyone else: There are alternatives.

The food was again very tasty and the conversation with the ladies was very nice, but we found out that the tavern will most likely be closed on December 31st, 2024. This is a huge loss!
