A true institution in Recklinghausen! Great Greek dishes and a fantastic team! Somewhere between a snack bar and a restaurant, this place offers excellent quality at fair prices. On weekends, it's a good idea to reserve a table.

We really enjoy going out to eat dirt often. The owner is extremely friendly, the food is delicious and there is an ouzo at the end. What more could you want? Definitely a recommendation!

Been there a few times now Good gyros and very good salads, the price is slightly higher but it's fresh and tasty. I can miss everyone Very good quality meat, friendly owner, Generations Restaurant, very friendly, hard-working waitresses. Clean restaurant even the toilets. I'll probably eat there until I die, even if I move.

There is no better Greek restaurant in the Recklinghausen area than this one. My family and all my friends agree.

There are several patio heaters outside in the winter garden, so you can sit even in winter. There are only a few tables inside. It's better to make a reservation on Sundays. The food is freshly prepared and you don't have to wait long for it. The entire staff is very friendly. At the end you get an ouzo, especially the colorful ouzo, which is mixed by the boss himself, is recommended. Sometimes you can get pudding for free. This Greek restaurant is recommended and is always well attended.

I was here again today for the first time in about 10 years. It used to be one (if not the) best Greek restaurant in Recklinghausen. Today I was extremely disappointed. Gyros light, almost raw, fatty & 0.0 crispy. Mayo although not ordered. Drink came after meal. What I have to praise is the waiting time of less than 10 minutes, the rest was extremely poor.

You can sit there and enjoy Greek food. You're in the grill there with nice people.

But 1 x is enough. We were there this evening. Very nice service, we had reserved and sat outside in the winter garden. Starter took forever, we already had the salads and asked again. Main courses took a long time again, everything was very lightly seasoned. Overall it was all very disorganized, not really clean, see pictures. More of a pick-up snack. Finally, we had to pay for two tzatziki side dishes that we had never ordered, as you can see on the bill (photo).

Very comfortable. Food and service were very good. Can't complain. We were warmly welcomed and had a perfect evening.

I was looking for a Greek place where I could pay by card. And found what I was looking for here. It was nice to see when you got in, you were greeted in a friendly manner, the staff chatted a little with one or the other guest. Which I think is very nice when there is still time for a relaxed atmosphere. The food, I had two gyros plates, was really tasty. The portion was pleasantly large and very tasty.

I just have to give it 5 stars. We've recently started living nearby and we cook here with an incredibly intense passion. I could see in the store that the restaurant has been around since 1995. The food is incredibly tasty, card payment is possible. The ambience is INSANELY good! The selection is fantastic. And hey: the people there are really cool and really nice! The fact that the restaurant is a bit “smaller” and cozier makes the Syrtaki Grill a real “hidden gem”. I always order takeaway here and I think in the future this could become my "home office break spot", haha. Just have to give the store a solid 5/5.

It's just a chip shop, there's not much to say. It tastes typically Greek, nothing special, nothing bad. It's okay. They have pretty good meat. But now nothing out of the ordinary or anything. Always very nice, very polite. I usually pick up something when I eat. That's maybe four times a year, so I'm not really a regular customer. Generally, Fries Bude is my very last choice if nothing else works.

Great service, great winter garden with a fire pit that creates a pleasant warmth and atmosphere. Very tasty bifteki and gyros. Our taste highlight was the salad with the main course. We will definitely come back again.

Wunderschönes Restaurant. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und preiswert. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Speisen für jedermann. Der Service ist immer recht schnell, egal ob es voll ist oder nicht. Außerdem kann man das Essen zum abholen vorbestellen. Die Angestellten sind immer freundlich und empfänglich. Das Restaurant ist schön aufbereitet und hat eine tolle Ambiente.
