It deserves its name. I had a filling gyro and I'm set for the next three days :). Jokes aside, this is a great family-run Greek snack bar with excellent food. I'd definitely go back.

Super delicious dishes and friendly staff. I personally had a grilled platter, which I couldn't finish due to the portion size. It was also completely hassle-free to let them pack up the rest. My companion was also impressed with the food (both taste and size). I liked the option of eating outside, despite the traffic. Given the speed limit, it was perfectly acceptable. I'll be happy to come back again.

So first of all, the most important thing is that you will always be full😂 The prices are slightly higher but you feel like you get twice as much on your plate. The owner always responds to my special requests and I am always greeted very politely. Tastes vary but so far everything has been fine, just snack quality. Never had a problem with eating. If you really feel like eating meat, just order the large meat dishes... they are fresh and well prepared and I can only recommend that to everyone. There is a small drawback and that is the very fatty dishes, not a problem in itself but be careful with the gyros pita 🤣🤣🤣 that often falls apart... I've been a regular customer for 4 years and can't miss it. The employees are always friendly and funny. But it has become very expensive, it is everywhere but he has exaggerated it to the extreme

Simply amazing! I can't say much more. The food is excellent. Very friendly and relatively quick. The gentleman has a penchant for chatting, which helps build customer loyalty. The outdoor area needs updating. The interior is very modern, clean, and tidy. A bit cramped for my taste, but cramped is a loose term.

Everything is perfect, food is quick and tasty. And the name fits. We ALWAYS get full. :)

I have eaten at Sattmacher many times and have always been very satisfied. BUT! Last time I got a really bad stomach and intestinal upset. I had a cordon bleu with hollondaise sauce and fries. About 45 minutes later I had a terrible stomach ache and couldn't get off the toilet for the next 48 hours. Maybe you should work on kitchen hygiene. I won't be entering this store again!

The name fits exactly. A family business. The portions are as you wish. AND it tastes good. Prices are ok.

I have known the "Sattnacher" in the Recklinghausen Nordviertel district on Börster Weg since my early childhood... Practically from the first owner, through all the others over the last 40 years, to the current owner, who I appreciate very much. .... There is a very large selection of dishes here, but that doesn't reduce the quality of the dishes here.... People like to meet here for nice conversations after work and meet a lot of people from the northern quarter who come here order food regularly and enjoy staying here.... In the summer months, guests sit outside under the old "gas station roof" and enjoy the beautiful weather while eating, as the restaurant is located in an old "Westphalia gas station" that was built in the 70s was shut down... Since then the "Sattnacher" has been located in the walls of the old gas station....... As a child I bought my fries with mayonnaise for 1 mark there...... Prices from that we can only dream of today.... 😁

The food was delicious, but I personally didn't like the sauces that much. But I would say it's a matter of taste. The Metaxa sauce was very sweet. Otherwise everything was good. The service was nice. You have to order at the counter, not at the table. But I wouldn't expect that there now. I liked the atmosphere, it was modern and clean.

Ate gyro fries here. Portion was more than enough to fill you up. Everything was well seasoned. Prices ok too. I'll definitely come back when I'm hungry for it. Staff friendly

Not everyone is served here. We entered the snack bar, greeted politely and sat down at the table. Then nothing happened for 10 minutes. I then went to the front and wanted to find out what was going on. But I didn't get around to it because a lady called out to me: "Cards here in front". When asked whether you had to place your order at the front, the lady replied: “We’ll come to the table”. That didn't happen for the next 20 minutes. Instead, 8 orders were taken at the front. Those who ordered then sat down with us in the dining room with a lot of beer and talked quite freely about what they had experienced today. That was a little too much for us and we left the location. The indifference with which our departure was accepted by the two ladies suggests that this happens more often. Only the two smoking gentlemen with the 6 empty beer bottles and the full ashtray on the table grumbled disapprovingly. So if you're looking for a mix of drinking hall, chip shop and the charm of Hartz, you've come to the right place!

Portions, quality, meat and all the side dishes are a dream! Also really large portions, a great selection of beer and ouzo and a wonderfully nice owner couple! All the employees are also nice, friendly and do their best every day! We come regularly and always receive great service! Thank you!!

The best chip shop with the largest portions and the best Greek salad around! They live up to the name & the owners are so welcoming! We will always come back.

I won't visit again. The gyro was more than "crispy" and my wife's small farmer's salad didn't even deserve the name "small". The taste was OK, but as mentioned, far too little.

Man konnte bei angenehmen Wetter bis 22h noch draußen sitzen. Dann wurde das Licht ausgemacht/Ende Aber es reichte auch Essen war gut und viel. Bedienung freundlich Alles in Einem - es hat uns gefallen danke

Das Essen ist super und der Sattmacher hält, was der Name verspricht. Die Betreiber sind ebenfalls nett und freundlich. Es gibt viel Stammkunden, das will was heißen! Und im Sommer draußen sitzen und die Atmosphäre im Viertel zu genießen, das hat was. Leider können die Wartezeiten zum Teil sehr lang sein. Vor allem wenn viel los ist, werden manche Bestellungen vergessen, da heißt es selbst erinnern und (bitte freundlich!) nachfragen.

Abiente oki.Schön ruhig.Man kann sich auch draußen hinsetzen.Aber das Essen.Es ist nicht mehr.Was es früher wahr.Ich merke den Unterschied.Da ich sonst immer dort hinfahre.

Sehr leckeres Gyros - endlich mal hauptsächlich Fleisch und nicht Fett :-) Was die Portionen angeht macht der Laden seinem Namen alle Ehre :-) Günstige Preise :-) ...und nettes Personal :-) Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

3x Reis 1x pommes ohne alles....fast 20 euro. Der reis war eher suppe...sehr flüssig/ölig.

Meine Gyros Pita hat vor Fett getrieft 😏 Das Fleisch war auch überhaupt nicht nach meinem Geschmack. Das war leider nichts. Mir hat es leider nicht geschmeckt.

Für Fastfood hat die Bestellung, obwohl kaum einer da war, extrem lange gedauert. Nach der Wartezeit kam ein EXTREM öliges und fettiges Gyros an. Die Pommes waren okay.

Manch einer hier sollte nochmal einen Mathegrundkurs machen, denn wie hier auf die Preise gekommen wird, ist mir unverständlich. Der Sattmacher ist Preis-Leistungstechnisch oben mit dabei. So ziemlich der einzige Laden bei dem man die Inflation nicht mitbekommt. Die Portionen sind riesig und man wird satt. Das Essen ist allerdings ziemlich fertig, das muss man mögen oder auch nicht. Es ist halt immer noch mehr Imbiss als Restaurant. Dafür geht's schnell.

Die Qualität war nicht gut. Es gibt über 100 Gerichte auf der Karte, so ist frisches Essen kochen überhaupt nicht möglich.

Ganz ok, aber viel zu teuer. Für eine Thunfisch/Zwiebel-Pizza, Taxi-Teller mit Tzaziki und Pommes Currywurst Mayo 37€?! Vollkommen überzogen für einen Imbiss.

Ist wirklich lecker und die Preis Leistung stimmt
