A really cute restaurant. The food was delicious, the flavor was truly amazing, and the meat was fresh and high-quality. We both enjoyed it immensely! The service was also super friendly and attentive – we immediately felt at home. There's plenty of parking on the street. We'd definitely be happy to come back.

By far the best kebab I've ever eaten! I was particularly impressed by the exceptional cleanliness of the place – something that's unfortunately not a given in this industry. I originally arrived as a meter reader and was immediately warmly welcomed. The owner is not only very friendly, but also exudes genuine warmth – always with a smile. Without hesitation, I was offered a cup of tea to help me relax for a moment – a small gesture that left a lasting impression. During the short tea break, I noticed that the place doesn't smell strongly of grease or frying oil like many others. This clearly speaks to a regularly maintained exhaust ventilation system and a high level of hygiene awareness. In the end, I ordered a kebab – and it tasted excellent! It says "yaprak," but I have to say it doesn't have much to do with yaprak. The meat was more reform, so it was more of a 50/50 split. I've had many better ones in Gelsenkirchen and Essen.

By far the best doner kebab I've had in a very long time. The meat was flavorful, the vegetables (lettuce, onions, tomatoes, etc.) were fresh, and the flatbread was well-toasted and not too filling. I can recommend it to literally anyone.

In my opinion, this is the best kebab shop in Recklinghausen. It's owner-operated and has been around for years. They still serve authentic veal kebabs, and they also cater to chicken fans. The changing daily specials, especially the fried sardines, are amazing.

I went there for the first time a few days ago because of the good reviews, after driving past it countless times. What can I say? It's a shame I didn't discover the place years ago. Aside from the super friendly owner, it's simply a really good kebab place – I personally can't think of a better one in RE. Highly recommended!

Price-performance ratio is unbeatable here. Where can you still find a very good kebab for €5.50 today? The shop has a standard interior, but the food is fresh and the boss knows his craft. The kebab is well balanced, has fresh ingredients and solid meat. Doner kebab is not advertised here either. In terms of taste, the rotisserie pocket scores highly here. There is still good food here for little money. Would come again!

Problem in Recklinghausen: No sensible meat. Until I was here yesterday with my short one. I've been looking for a decent shop for a long time and have "overlooked" this little shop here over the years. The meat really overwhelmed me, so I wanted a second kebab. But it wouldn't have ended well in the end 😅 Wasn't my last visit. The conversation with the owner was as if we had known each other for 10 years. Simply top 🤌

I came based on the positive reviews and would not be disappointed. The Adana plate made me very happy, it falls apart in the mouth and is perfectly balanced. I also had a portion of kebab meat. The meat is delicious and well seasoned, just like it was in the 90s. Everything is great, the owner still does everything himself, as he says. Wasn't the last time I'll come.

I went there for the first time today based on a recommendation. The food was super tasty. I had chicken skewers with fries. The fries were crispy and hot. The chicken is super tender. The salad was also delicious. Prices are okay. All in all, I'm super satisfied and will definitely eat there again.

Hier wird die Dönertasche mit liebe zubereitet. Nebenbei noch ein nettes Pläuschchen mit dem Inhaber gehalten. Der Hänchendöner war wirklich gut und sehr lecker. Die Salattasche ebenfalls. Beim nächsten mal probiere ich Kalb. Wurde mir heute vom Inhaber wärmstens empfohlen. Danke für die Einladung.
