I'm glad I made the extra few steps! Nice guy, we talked about Argentina. Then I ordered the meat, and the way it turned out wasn't what I expected. A pretty big chunk! Amazing and worth every penny. Next time I'll get the Argentinian classic, "Lomito"! But now back to my food for a moment; I didn't leave anything behind.

Highly recommended! Chimichurri Dortmund is a true culinary highlight. We had an incredibly delicious meal there – every dish was fresh, lovingly prepared, and full of flavor. I would especially like to highlight the excellent wine recommendation, which perfectly complemented our meal. You can immediately tell that the work here is done with passion. The owner is extremely hospitable and made the visit a thoroughly pleasant experience. You feel not only welcome, but downright pampered. We will definitely be back!

TripAdvisor claims Chimurri is Italian. Because of the linguini on the menu? Well, it's Argentinian. And how. Delicious! My Milanesa was exceptionally good. So was the dessert. So was the wine and Argentinian beer. The charmingly spartan decor and the Argentinian music round out the whole experience beautifully. Last but not least, the people there are very nice and they run the place with passion. I'll be back 😊

Most of my guests didn't know the small Argentinian restaurant before, but agreed that they would come back. Friends and family praised the quality, preparation and taste of all the dishes on offer without exception. My son says “Tastiest steak ever.” Thank you for the wonderful evening. Where should I start? A warm, friendly welcome in a great atmosphere. As starters we chose the prawns and 2 dumplings with cheese and corn, shrimp and as the main course we ordered milanesas argentinas. For dessert we chose the creamy caramel cream. We enjoyed everything very much and were completely satisfied.

Very tasty Argentinian cuisine, nice staff and a pleasant, almost family atmosphere. There was a soup as a starter, a salad as a main course and a selection of different desserts that left us wanting more. This included flan with caramel cream, raspberry ice cream and mouse de chocolate. As a welcome, fresh bread with three different dips was served. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos. 🤷‍♂️ I would eat there again at any time, but you should make a reservation in advance.

A nice little restaurant with Argentinian flair. It is advisable to reserve a table in advance by phone or online. The owner is very attentive and polite. As a guest you feel very comfortable. As a starter there were the filled dumplings (one with meat and one with cheese and corn). The main course was the Argentinian beef skewer. The meat was medium rare. For dessert there was quince pulp on medium-aged Gouda cheese & chocolate mousse. The quince and the cheese harmonize very well with each other. The mousse au chocolat had a fruit component that tasted quite sour on its own but combined with the mousse it was very harmonious. There was also a nice rosé wine that went well with the heat. We'd love to come back.

We were absolutely thrilled with everything. From the food, the service and the ambience.

I knew Argentina from 3 trips. Here I had the feeling of being back in Argentina for the first time in a long time: the ambience, the music, the type and style of the menu, the decoration... everything was perfect. Even the accent in the boss's Spanish :-). My wife grew up in Argentina, she and her mother had tears in their eyes because of the recognition... Note: In our German eyes, some things take some getting used to, e.g. the menu is in leather, but the pages are in plastic covers. This is 100% authentic! The food itself was great. Creative and yet typically Argentinian. Of course, the grilled beef is so typical (even if my adult son found it a little too underdone and not red enough) and first-class. You can tell how good the cook is from the vegetables - 5/5 points! And the lomito (fillet slices in white bread) was adapted from the province of Córdoba especially for us - with an extra fried egg instead of onions. We only received first-class ingredients that were excellently prepared. The dessert is something typically Argentinian - whether it's flan or the biscuit in a glass - lots of dulce de leche (obviously homemade or really top quality imported) everywhere. Plus the really good service, even though it was full to the brim - all tables had reservations (Whitsun Sunday). I can recommend it without reservation! Gratias Diri y las girls!

Very tasty steaks. Fresh ingredients, friendly service and nice atmosphere. Bread and dips were also delicious. In addition to Argentinian beers, Brinkhoffs is also on the menu, which I welcome. Unfortunately, my special request to leave out the tomatoes in the salad was not implemented. The toilets are clean, spacious and accessible at ground level. The Chimichurri is located in a beautiful area directly on Lake Phoenix. Perfect for a walk before or after dinner. Overall, a lovely evening with excellent food. Not exactly cheap, but also high quality and really excellent. Parking is free on the street after 7 p.m. If you can't get a space, you can use one of the surrounding parking garages.

Food A1 quality was also very tasty and the ambience was very nice, but... we were there with 4 people, everyone had a starter, main course and dessert. At a price of around €100 for 2 people you should actually be full, the portions were really very manageable and in my opinion I don't think the price-performance ratio is justified, the other 3 people also had the same opinion. Answered in another review by the owner "you should ask for a second helping" Sorry, you don't ask for a second helping, you go with the expectation that you'll be full. A great restaurant in Hörde that I can only recommend. A family-run restaurant where the mother creates real highlights in the kitchen with a lot of love. Pure Argentina. The service is really great, friendly, attentive and fond of children. The food is convincing across the board. We had the grill plate deluxe for two people. Yummy. We'd love to come back. Das Chimichurri ist ein einladendes und gemütliches Restaurant in Dortmund Hörde. Es ist besonders, da es argentinische Küche bietet und somit in Dortmund ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal hat. Das Essen ist durchweg von hoher Qualität und frisch zubereitet. Als Amuse gueule gab es sehr schmackhafte selbstgemachte Dips mit Brot. Der gemischte Vorspeisenteller bot u.a. eine Auswahl an frisch zubereiteten Gemüsen und einen leckeren Salat. Wir bestellten unterschiedliche Hauptgerichte. Hier sind insbesondere das argentinische Steaksandwich, die Linguine mit Filetstreifen in Tomatensoße oder in Chimichurrisoße, das argentinische Schnitzel Mailänder Art, Filetstreifen auf Ofenkartoffel und die Linguine mit Gemüsesauce hervorzuheben. Alles sehr lecker, das Fleisch zart und gut gewürzt, die Tomatensoße hervorragend, die Pasta al dente gekocht. Der argentinische Flan und der Don Schmitt haben das Essen perfekt abgerundet. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Toiletten sind sehr sauber. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Das Chimichurri bietet spannende und sehr schmackhafte argentinische Küche unter den üblichen Restaurants in Dortmund.

Ladenbesitzer und Personal suuuuper nett und zuvorkommend! Er hat uns Vorspeisen empfohlen, nachdem wir sie bestellt hatte, sprich er kam nochmal zum Tisch und hat gesagt wir sollen lieber so und so machen. Und man sieht: er hatte absolut Recht und es war eine hervorragende Empfehlung! Der Laden ist auch super schön und kreativ gestaltet, man fühlt sich sehr wohl und bekommt rein NICHTS von der Hauptstraße mit.
