We recently went to the GALERIA Restaurant to enjoy coffee and cake on the panoramic terrace. The terrace was extremely full and it was impossible to get a seat there - people were already standing around everywhere waiting for the next space to become available. It was also full inside and the air was extremely stuffy. The view from the terrace is really great, but the implementation with the consumption cards, which you get when you take the escalator up to the restaurant and which you have to hand back when you leave, is simply extremely bad. You also have to stand in the normal checkout line if you want to leave the restaurant without eating, and if the store is jam-packed, that can take a while. It was only when we drove back down that access to the restaurant was limited due to the number of guests. This should have been done sooner, then we and others could have saved ourselves the time of pointlessly standing in that queue at the checkout. That was really annoying and will definitely stop us from visiting the GALERIA Restaurant again. It's a shame, because this location above the roofs of the Frankfurter Zeil is actually very beautiful.

Excellent food and top location. We had a very cozy seat on the 1st floor, with a beautiful view over Römer Square. Waiter was very friendly.

Hello everyone, I didn't really want to write a review, but because of what happened today I feel compelled to. Today I was at the restaurant with a colleague at 5:30 p.m. Although there were two large tables available inside, the waitress told us there was nothing available. Well, we didn't have a reservation. That's ok too! So we decided to sit outside. The waitress not only seemed stressed, but was also unfriendly. Of course I understand that you have to wait for your drinks when it's busy, but 20 minutes just for the drinks is really too long. We were told the wait time for food would be 20-30 minutes. We agreed - but in the end we had to wait over two hours. Occasionally we asked if we could sit down inside after some guests had finished eating. We were told we would be seated as soon as a table became available. In the end we were seated at a table that had been vacant the entire time. When our food finally came, it was burnt. After waiting over two hours, my colleague ate it anyway. When the waiter later asked how the food was, my colleague answered honestly that the fried potatoes were burnt and the breading on the meat was too burnt. Instead of apologizing, the waiter reacted extremely rudely and said: “You should have said that beforehand! First eat the food and then complain – that sucks!” He also asked us if we knew how he felt with such a busy operation. My colleague replied that he had only answered the question about how the food was. And since we waited over two hours for it, he just ate it. Particularly worth mentioning: My colleague is 60 years old. As a young person, you should have a little respect for older people! A full restaurant should actually be a reason for the team to be happy. But instead, the stressed-out employees took out their frustration on the guests - and that is unacceptable.

Cozy brewery in the center of Limburg. Rustic brewery cuisine at reasonable prices. In summer there is a beer garden in front of the restaurant.

Once again, the inn is closed contrary to the opening times stated on the Internet and only a note on the door indicates this. Maximum UNRELIABLE OPENING HOURS, therefore not recommended. It's a shame, because the food and the ambience would be recommended...

A fee is charged for a Styrofoam bowl to take away uneaten food. Given the high prices, this is an absolute disgrace. The ambience in the “crammed” guest room is subterranean!

So was hab ich noch nie erlebt, weiß gar nicht, ob ich lachen soll, weil es so absurd ist. Ich hatte Waffeln mit Nutella bestellt. Man bekommt ein kleines Gläschen mit ein wenig Nuttela (also nicht direkt auf den Waffeln). Ich fragte, ob ich noch etwas Nutella für die zweite Waffel haben könne. Die Bedienung sagte zu mir - und das ist jetzt kein Scherz - "nein, das ist nicht möglich". Ich was so perplex und fragte nochmal nach, da ich dachte ich muss mich verhört haben. Sie meinte dann, man kann Nutella nur mit Waffel im System eingeben und nicht nur so, daher kann ich keine Nutella haben. Ich musste die zweite Waffel dann "trocken" essen.

If you want a big plate of traditional German food then Gartenlaube is the place for you. There’s nothing subtle or dainty here: big portions of meat with dumplings or potatoes. Indeed, the portion size is the biggest drawback - it seems wrong to serve a schnitzel for one person that could easily serve two. Atmosphere and service were good, so we were happy as we waddled out.
