Great schnitzels, great fries and nice service and the price-performance ratio is also right.

This former Greek restaurant was taken over by the current operator, I missed the exact date. Although I am always impressed by the Indian dishes and flavors, they were also able to absolutely convince my friends with their typically 'bourgeois' selection (schnitzel, fries, croquettes, salad, etc.). Always happy alone because it's so delicious :-)

Home-style cuisine, friendly hosts, very quiet location and great climate.

Every music lover will find it a great pleasure to visit this place.

Wir waren im Brauhaus und haben eigentlich noch nie so miserabel gegessen. Die Haxe war nicht durchgegart, nur schnell in den Konverter geschoben, die Ofenkartoffel war schon tagelang gekocht gelagert und dann aufgewärmt worden und das sog. Jägerschnitzel hatte eine "künstlich angerührte Soße" mit Dosenchampignons als Beilagen. Gruselig! Auch das Bier ,weder dunkel noch hell, schmeckte nicht. Kurzum: ein absoluter Fehlgriff. Nie mehr wieder.

Very nice staff and cozy atmosphere and nice and clean. The only thing that bothers me personally is the fake flowers.

The best place for a good lunch as well as cider and a stop in the evening. A Frankfurt veteran, always recommended with top service and a top “Hessian” atmosphere. Unreservedly recommended!

Be sure to stop here on your next trip. Home-style food with a modern touch. Wild goulash is unique!

It's a shame that the barley will close at the end of 2024. We would have loved to come back and the positive comments speak for themselves!! Too bad ;-(

Home cooking, beer garden, best service

Wine is great, pasta exceptional, Kaiserschmarrn incredibly good.

I "only" give the room 4 stars because the joints in the shower, for example, were no longer completely clean, the bedside table was in front of the closet so that it could only be opened on one side and the bedside table lamp didn't work. But the room was clean, and a second pillow was provided immediately at my request. When we ordered the room we were asked whether we wanted fresh goose, which was only available to order, and I found it very attentive. This tasted excellent. In general, the owner was very nice and responded to almost every request. The house is in a quiet location, but it is only a few kilometers from Kassel. There are enough parking spaces at the house. The house is old but clean. You look in vain for elevators. Price/performance is top. When eating out, I found the Indian chicken dish with rice (which contained very little meat) quite expensive at 17 euros, while the goose with soup, salad, side dishes and dessert was ok at 30 euros. Conclusion: We'll be back next year

A great place with very nice views, great food and very friendly staff. The wine pairing was excellent!
