Update after move As always, very nice service and delicious food even late in the evening. We always enjoy going here. New address on the church square. The new rooms have a very nice atmosphere. Food has become slightly more expensive, like everything in life. It is still the Steeder Adler. Very pleasant. We always go there. Nothing has changed, it's still our home and stomach. What should you add is the Steeder Adler. It's nice to sit outside under the old linden tree 😁, but the linden tree unloads a lot. Luckily nothing has changed, the quality of the food on offer is still great and the service is A1*.

Smoking bar with food. You should know.

Every music lover will find it a great pleasure to visit this place.

Service quick and friendly. Price/performance good. It was really tasty and the steak was cooked exactly as I ordered it: medium rare.

Somehow the restaurant is always fully booked lately. It's a real shame because we would love to eat there again :) Very tasty and it is also very nice outside in summer.

Unfortunately we didn't have time to eat. But we'll be back.

Good schnitzels and friendly service

The Linde has been an established location in Anspach for decades, you can hardly be more central. However, the management of this institution has changed many times in recent years and no really convincing concept has been able to establish itself. As a location, the Linde deserves 4 to 5 stars, as I said, it couldn't be more central and the beer garden is definitely among the top 3 in Anspach. The selection of drinks is good and varied. However, there are also some points of criticism and in my opinion they are not exactly minor. It may be that there were problems with the daily routine, but on two visits within three weeks it was the same on both occasions. I would like to mention that my introduction to schnitzel took place in Vienna, so I may be a bit spoiled. So to put it kindly, I would like to say that the schnitzels in the lime tree are filling and are seasoned quite well. However, they are also thick and quite massive, they have nothing to do with the crispy, fine products that I am used to. A cordon bleu that is 3 cm thick is rather unusual. The design of the card also didn't convince me. With the schnitzel, croquettes, fries or rösti are included in the price; if you want fried potatoes, they cost 4.50 extra. A portion of fried potatoes alone also costs 4.50. If you want fried potatoes and are willing to pay 4.50, you should actually get the fries, croquettes or hash browns for free. There's something wrong with the pricing. When it came to the sauces, I suspected that they had been poured onto the schnitzel from some pre-packaged package. I'm assuming that our operation was retrained because the performance wasn't good. At the next table a guest was showered with a full tray. We had already been sitting for half an hour before we were asked what we wanted to drink and at that point we hadn't even received the menu. The division of the inside and outside restoration was not well solved, one had the impression that the tasks were not well and clearly distributed and that many unnecessary paths were taken. I can definitely imagine coming back again to have a beer in the really atmospheric beer garden/inner courtyard, but I won't make a third attempt to eat.

Der indischstämmige Wirt reagiert aggressiv auf die Bitte eines älteren Gastes, mit Visa zahlen zu wollen. Er schrie ihn an, er lasse sich nicht verarschen und würde nur Barzahlung akzeptieren. Er solle bar zahlen oder er würde die Polizei rufen. Er wurde immer lauter und erteilte dem Gast sofort Hausverbot. Später kam er zu mir und fragte, wie ich das sehe. Ich sagte ihm, dass ich sein Verhalten Gästen gegenüber total unangemessen finde und froh sein, genug Bargeld dabei zu haben. Er sagte, als Gast müsse man vorher fragen, wie man zahlen kann. Er könne zwar Karten nehmen, wolle dies aber wegen der Gebühren nicht. Gastro mache ihm eh keinen Spass mehr… Ein Erlebnis der Dritten Art. Das um 20:30 Uhr ausschließlich noch angebotene indische Essen war gut, jedoch würde ich den Laden nie wieder betreten.

Top service, food of very good quality. Price/performance is absolutely right. Delicious wines and child-friendly.

Yesterday's premiere in "Franziska" gets full marks - in all areas, from the service to the menu selection and quality of the food to the ambience - outstanding and definitely recommended!

Very tasty, exciting curry interpretation under wok vegetables - vegan dishes available, but there is something for every taste 😉
