A bit like a clubhouse. The food was so-so. Pudding sauce for the schnitzel and very fatty fried potatoes. Unfortunately you could only pay with cash. Actually a no-go for a restaurant/snack bar in 2024. A pity. The name sounded cool as a dog owner

Very very poor experience! Travel a long way to this “nice” restaurant at 8:20pm. Open the door, staff only said two words to us, “No!(shaking her head)” “Full (stiffly)!” But we still can see nearly half empty seats inside, meanwhile even other customer shows us the table where we can seat. Probably we need to reserve first, but two words feedback was too disappointed, at least a short explanation could be accept! :\ No recommend ! No recommend !

We went to the Bavarian Wirtshaus for the first time today. The service is very friendly, the food was really a treat and the people are very child-friendly. Definitely found our favorite restaurant.

Wonderful German restaurant on the Drosselgasse – we had Sauerbraten, local beer & Riesling, and an authentic Rüdesheim coffee. Everything was very good!!!

The restaurant is really worth the trip. The furnishings are lovingly designed with beautiful accessories that tell the story of the house. We had a wonderful evening. The food was fantastic. The service is top! The Kaiserschmarrn is a poem and has addictive potential! I'm not a dessert eater, but this made me weak.

Away fans should best avoid the Marktstubb! The furnishings and breakfast invited you to linger. But when I was waiting for my food, I went to the landlady's counter with my cell phone and charging cable and asked nicely if I could charge my cell phone...First of all, a direct "no". I thought it was a joke of the sometimes direct Hessian kind and asked again. Then a little more feedback in the form of..."Nät mit deem Stickäää" to which she pointed to my jersey, along with an incomprehensible shake of the head, along the lines of: How can I actually dare to ask? (?!) Actually, I should have left straight away. But the food was ordered and tasted pretty good. It's a shame that you, as a very quiet and polite visitor to the city, are not welcome here.
