The ambience is okay. Service was so mediocre. The bill was simply brought to several people at the table without even being asked whether they should pay together. Omelette was also just average in terms of food.

It's very unfortunate when you ask the waitress the price of a beer and she answers the question and I quote "I don't know, €4.90 or €5" and the beer ends up costing €5.70 😂. So I'm sorry, but that really can't be it and I would be interested to know what you would think of it. The lady hasn't been working in the store since yesterday as she already served us last year. Unfortunately, the portion of cheese spaetzle for €14.50 wasn't reasonable, and unfortunately it didn't taste the way you would imagine cheese spaetzle to be. I gave the store a second chance because I wasn't enthusiastic back then, but I won't go there again, especially since I'm from the region and there are much more sensible stores.

Spent a great evening with my wife. Great atmosphere and good entertainment. Even the boss of the house found some time and sat down at the table with us to chat a little.

A quaint restaurant that is particularly popular with Americans traveling through. Live music and service excellent. The food was good and plentiful.

Unfortunately the schnitzels weren't good. They all had the same shape and didn't look fresh. More like frozen goods. The fries weren't tasty either. Service was friendly and quick.

The interior environment is spacious and there are many seats. The pork ribs are tender and tasty, while the lettuce salad, vegetable soup, and bread are just average. I also tried the signature wine and coffee here, which is quite interesting!

Considering that the restaurant is designed for tourists, the food was really exceptionally good. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is good.

Service quite nice. The hunter's sauce for the schnitzel didn't look appetizing and tasted like it had been thawed. The fries were not seasoned and the schnitzels were also very tasteless.

Nice, outdated restaurant in the middle of the tourist alley. But the food was good and tasted delicious. If you like the 70s charm you should go here. The service is nice and quick.

We have already eaten in many restaurants in Rüdesheim, but “Zur Hannelore” cannot be compared with all of them. The ambience is catastrophic and the service is absolutely unfriendly. A job in prison would suit them better. The food is inedible and cannot be compared with the competition. The music evening was a total failure. The few people from the bachelor party created some atmosphere and that was the only point worth mentioning. There are many good restaurants, but “Zur Hannelore” is definitely not one of them. Anyone who wants to have a good meal in Rüdesheim and wants to feel comfortable/welcome should avoid this restaurant.

I didn't know that such a large restaurant wouldn't accept credit cards. I finally went to the ATM and took out some money. It was an unpleasant experience.

International menu and cuisine very good. Service courteous and friendly. Live music and a rustic restaurant in Drossselgasse in Rüdesheim. Recognizable from the alley by a red lantern. Always my pleasure!

The inn itself has apparently either never seen its best times or at least has left it for a long time. The furnishings, probably from the beginning or middle of the last century and certainly quite acceptable for the time, now seem very worn and, together with the decoration on the walls in the form of framed photos that provide information about inn life in days gone by, and old porcelain plates which, among other things, were dedicated to a silver wedding anniversary, the restaurant has the charm of a club bar from the 70s. The last renovation of the premises probably took place at this point. The design highlight can be found in the toilets; spooky, colorful wall tiles arranged in a harlequin pattern are hidden behind shiny aluminum doors. In this place, the guest cannot shake the anxiety of becoming the murder victim of a psycho clown. At least it was clean there. Back at the table, with an incomplete cup of tea and a latte macchiato that otherwise required no complaints, the food took a long time to arrive. This circumstance gave time and opportunity to look in vain for a better located table. We ordered 2 x Viennese veal schnitzel with fried potatoes from relatively friendly service. We secretly hoped that we would be enchanted by the hidden culinary skills of the house. What came to the table was a big disappointment. At first glance everything was as ordered, nothing more, nothing less, so no side dish. We expected the food to be prepared the old-fashioned way using a pan. But not here, no chef but the deep fryer sets the tone in the kitchen. The (fried) fried potatoes, bland and boring, also gave rise to the suspicion that they had been prepared as jacket potatoes the day before. The breading of the schnitzel was so puffy due to the deep-frying process that one would have thought it was baked cauliflower underneath. The meat itself was ultra thin, but as compensation there were two on each plate. The meat was otherwise okay, only the taste of the greasy breading remained unpleasantly omnipresent for some time. Conclusion: Carelessly presented fast food at inflated prices with low quality. A reunion is more than unlikely.

Ein Restaurant mit DJ und Tanzfläche, das dem Charme der 60er Jahre treu geblieben ist, bei der Einrichtung. Von Schunkelliedern über Helene und Elvis wird hier alles gespielt. Wünsche werden gerne erfüllt. Das Essen ist gut, der Sauerbraten erstklassig. Wer feiern möchte, ist hier richtig.

Great place for a group. Music and fun. Try the white wine. It’s delicious. Pork was a little dry. Excellent sauerkraut, salad and soup.

Leckeres gut bürgerliches Essen in uriger Atmosphäre, Service könnte etwas freundlicher und aufmerksamer sein. Hätten gerne noch mehr zum Trinken bestellt, wenn man beachtet worden wäre. Alleinunterhalter war ganz ok. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis im oberen Bereich. Dirndl im Rheingau hätte ich jetzt im Lokal weniger erwartet, aber für amerikanische Reisegruppen wird diese deutsche Kultur am Rhein scheinbar gerne vorgeführt.

In Rüdesheim in der Drosselgasse bei"Hannelore", da steppt der Bär, zumindest war das unser Eindruck, als wir durch die Drosselgasse am Sonntagabend liefen. Und so war es nicht verwunderlich, dass wir hier einkehrten und eine tolle Atmosphäre vorfanden. Zwar war es eine Schiffsreisegruppe, die hier eine bunte Kuh fliegen ließ, aber wir hatten auch unseren Spaß, der Wein war lecker, die Bedienung freundlich und der Alleinunterhalter amüsant. Also ein toller Abend in einem tollem Restaurant. Super. Urlaub in Deutschland kann auch Spaß machen.

Ambiente urig, es gibt überall etwas zu entdecken, man kommt rasch mit "fremden" Menschen ins Gespräch. Das Essen war in Ordnung, es ist aber noch Luft nach oben. Die Bedienung war leider nicht wirklich freundlich oder motiviert. Wir hatten zwar einen lustigen Abend, hätten aber bestimmt noch diverse Getränke mehr verzehrt, wenn sie denn gleich serviert worden wären.

"Hannelore" ist eine Institution in der Drosselgasse. Wer noch das ursprüngliche Flair aus den 60er Jahren sucht, ist hier richtig. Wir haben mit einer Gruppe, 12 Personen, gegessen. Wer Hunger hat und deutsche Küche liebt, ist hier richtig. Der Sauerbraten war hervorragend und alle anderen Gerichte auch. Der Service war super und der DJ gab sein Bestes und erfüllte alle Musikwünsche, hier kann man tatsächlich auch noch mal "Standard" tanzen.

Zeer matige schnitzel uit de frituurpan volgens mij. En de serveersters keken alsof ze taakstraf hadden. Maar de sfeer was super door de muzikant en een groep Engelse gasten.

La comida deliciosa, calidad-precio estupenda. Las porciones gigantescas. Con menú infantil muy completo y variado. Las camareras muy atentas y pendientes. Sin duda volvemos.

Went as a group with a set menu, the salad, potato soup, pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes and veggy was very good and the service was great. The dark beer was excellent.

Rigtig - meget god restaurant. Dejlig betjening, smil og stemning. Mindre menukort men med lækker mad. Alt en rigtig god oplevelse. Der var leve musik så stemningen fik et løft. Kan varmt anbefales.

Küche zu früh geschlossen🙄, nicht ausreichend Käse Spätzle vorhanden wegen Reisegruppe 🙄 waren 3x da und immer gab es irgendetwas nicht🙄🤷‍♀️

Don't bother! Bei Hannelore is a sad, worn remnant of what might once have been a fairly nice establishment. Now, they're just phoning it in. It's a restaurant run by sleepwalkers. The decor is tired, worn and dated, as are the wait staff, who are surly, worn out looking and clearly uninterested in their job. Add to this a broken down singer/musician playing sad, dated synth music and you have it all. The food, such as it was, was acceptable, but nothing to go out for: some bread slices and cheese whip for starters, a garden salad, followed by 2 slices of pork roast and gravy with some mashed potatoes and a microscopic vanilla pudding. Dreary doesn't do justice to it.

Unfreundlicher habe ich persönlich noch nicht erlebt. Wollten nach dem Essen noch etwas trinken und tanzen und kamen an Hannelore vorbei, wo noch Musik spielte. Wir kamen rein und wurden direkt aufs unfreundlichste bedrängt, dass wir sofort bestellen sollten (was wir ja auch vorhatten). Drei von uns erbaten sich Bedenkzeit, der Rest bekam Getränke (6 Stück). Nach wenigen Minuten, wir befanden uns noch keine 10 Minuten im Lokal, wurde die Musik gestoppt und die Bedienung rückte mit zwei Türstehern an, um diejenigen die nichts bestellt hatten, hinauszuwerfen. Keine Verhandlungen möglich. Der Laden war nicht mal halbvoll. Beim Rausgehen wurden wir noch beschimpft. Hände weg!

Ziemlich runtergerockte Möbel, kitschiges Ambiente , ungepflegte Sanitäranlagen. Essen so lala! Die Bedienung war auch nicht sehr freundlich.

Restaurant vide à 20h, cela aurait dû nous interpeller. Nous entrons et attendons, au bout d'un moiment une personne nous accueille, efin, si ou peut appeler ça de l'accueil. Nous nous installons et commandons, bien peu de chois, hélas ! Nous avons tout de même droit à un sourire durant le ervice. Puis, plus personne, on se sent abandonnés. Nous allons chercher la serveuse pour commander un dessert, nous espèrions déguster la spécialité "Café de Rudesheim" et là on s'entend dite : " la cuisine est fermée". Une vraie grosse déception pour notre soirée dans la Drosselgasse

We waren met een groep en kozen dit omdat er iemand van de groep al eens was geweest. Het is groot, maar dat zie je niet van buiten. Leuk ingericht. 's Avonds is er live muziek. Onze lunch verliep prima. Ik had vermoedelijk een slechte keuze gemaakt want vond de goulash soep niet erg lekker (voldoende vlees, maar wat slap en weinig smaak). Anderen hadden een prima worst / patat / zuurkool schotel. Redelijke prijs, vlotte en aardige bediening.

Ein uriges gepflegtes Restaurant mit toller Küche. Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Essen war sehr lecker. Nur Beilagensalat für 4 Euro fand ich bisschen wenig aber war weiter nicht tragisch Ich kann jedem empfehlen hier mal rein zuschauen

Sehr gut nur zu enpfehlen. man sitze dort sehr angenehm. Rüdesheimer Kaffee war Super , genauso wie die waffeln.

Superb spisested, var en af en gruppe på 33 personer; fik suppe som for ret, derefter "Wienerschnitzel mit brass-kartoffel" og dertil hørende dessert. Maden var bestilt på forhånd, derfor kort ventetid

Domenica 18 Agosto abbiamo visitato Rudesheim questa cittadina ridente e di gusto, accolti da questo ristorante - birreria abbiam degustato oltre a dell'ottima birra per l'appunto 🍻🍻 dopo la serata si è dilungata con la fortuna di aver incontrato l'incantevole e bellissima cameriera del servizio personale 😍😘 con vestito tipico e piacevolmente mi sono fatto immortalare con lei in foto ma che purtroppo non ho nemmeno il suo nome... Pertanto a chiunque legga la recensione e sa qualcosa di più in merito per favore fate sapere 🙏, vi ringrazio in anticipo 😉👍

Enjoy the presentation and the flavors as the fraulein comes to your table to assemble this special drink. Sugar cubes are melted in flaming brandy, stirred into hot strong coffee, the topped with whipped cream and chocolate. Dessert in a cup! The distinctive cup and saucer are available in local gift shops. Enjoy!

Rüdesheimer Kaffee is a concoction invented in the late 60's to scam Americans out of excessive tourist dollars. Actually, I have no idea where the tradition came from, but it is a price drink compared to the awesome beer you could be drinking instead. I scanned the restaurant for what appeared to be locals, and I noticed they weren't drinking it. In fact, it appeared as though they were glancing at us with a smirk as if to thank us for supporting their local economy. Still, it's one of those things you have to try once so you can boast that you had a local experience. The ingredients include sugar, local Asbach brandy which is then flambéed, and then strong coffee is added. It is then topped with wicked sweet whipped cream and German chocolate. Witnessing it being made is part of the experience, plus you get an added buzz. I posted a pictorial sequence of the ordeal.

I've been here a few times, and it's always been good. Service is efficient, decor is nice and there are lot of nice German dishes to choose from. Try the Rudesheimer coffee. They make a big production of making it at your table. Keep your flammables out of the way though...

My sister and I enjoyed the famous coffee, with the flames and lots of whipped cream! It was delicious - especially on a cold rainy fall day.

Unsere Gruppe hatte Dinner hier. Enges Restaurant, aber alles an Tisch bedient. Ein Tanzorchester machte ganz viel Lärm; das war nicht bequem.
