We ended up at the Drosselhof quite spontaneously and were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance. The wines were delicious and easy to drink. The food was top-notch. We really enjoyed the musical accompaniment by the three-piece band, which enhanced the evening. We were particularly impressed with the service. We'd especially like to highlight our server Kerstin, whose cheerful and relaxed manner made the evening unforgettable. We also spent the following evening at the Drosselhof. We'd love to come back again.

A lovely place for getting under cover but enjoying the natural light and food. The waitress is actually nice, just having a cool face because she was too busy. The Apfelstrudel was excellent. We like the Federweisser + Zwiebelkuchen too. There is a set for trying 3 kinds of Eiswein, which was sooooo good. (9 euro for trying, but a bottle was like 5X euro) The main dish smells nice, too. We'll try next time! Oh, but the Rüdesheimkaffee is not recommended. This restaurant did not stirred like others. The flavor was not as good.

We visited the Drosselhof following a stay in Rüdesheim. The Drosselhof is generally very well located, and the ambiance is also very nice. Unfortunately, we lose points for the service and the food, which arrived at the table only 10 minutes after ordering. That was too fast for me, and it just made the whole thing seem like a mass-processing operation. We weren't asked for drinks or dessert. For the price, there's definitely room for improvement in terms of food and service. It's a shame, but I wouldn't recommend it.

An absolute disaster! This restaurant is a complete tourist trap. The prices are completely exorbitant—significantly more expensive than other restaurants in Rüdesheim. The food was disgusting: The chanterelle mushroom cream sauce looked like vomit and had maybe 2% mushroom content. Tasteless and unappetizing. Charging €6.50 for a glass of Federweißer is outrageous! On top of that, the staff made lame, unfunny jokes—simply embarrassing. We've rarely felt so ripped off and uncomfortable. Never again!

The corn-fed chicken was still bloody on the bone, and the light cream sauce was anything but light, very flaky. The simple dishes like cordon bleu and roast beef with onions were okay. The staff were sometimes very unfriendly to us. The atmosphere was okay. A tourist joint, after all. The price/performance ratio was borderline poor.

We were served so nicely by Kerstin! An incredibly kind and direct waitress who made our rainy day a little more pleasant.

The location in the Drosselgasse is, of course, perfectly central. The service is excellent. They're used to handling large crowds of tourists. The food was generally okay, but too expensive for the quality offered. Unfortunately, my chicken with chanterelle mushrooms, which cost €28.50, was undercooked on the bone. That's annoying and shouldn't happen. Other price examples: A salad with the main course was €11, a bottle of water was €7.50. The wines were also too expensive. Since most of our group was satisfied, I'm still giving it 4 stars. Personally, I would have given it only 3.

I was unfortunately very disappointed with the Drosselhof restaurant in Rüdesheim. The quality of the food was extremely poor – it didn't seem freshly prepared, but rather assembled from ready-made products. Unfortunately, attention to detail or passion in the cooking was not evident. The Sauerbraten was particularly disappointing: the taste took some getting used to, and the consistency was anything but convincing. Overall, a true disaster that in no way matches what you would expect in this location and price range. I definitely wouldn't recommend it – neither the quality nor the feeling of being welcomed is up to scratch.

The food was okay but nothing special. For the price, we expected more, and there are definitely better options in this town. The ambiance was okay. The service was rather mediocre.

It's a very beautiful location! Of course, Rüdesheim is a tourist hotspot, and you have to be aware of that! The farm is legendary, and you simply have to go there!

We were there two weeks ago and were absolutely thrilled. We've rarely had such great service. Kerstin was wonderful. The food was delicious, and the Riesling was perfect. We'd love to come back.

Super friendly service and delicious food

The service was excellent, some of the best I've ever received. The food was very good, and the ambiance was very, very nice—traditional, lively, cheerful, simply amazing.

Actually, a bad joke. The "band" is a nightmare; I've even heard cats scream more beautifully. The vegetarian schnitzel is just fried cafeteria food, but given the location, you don't have to make any effort; it's enough if each guest only comes once. Service was good, and I really feel sorry for the employees, as they have to endure the constant musical terror.

I really wanted to try the local delicacy, saumagen. But I was also a little apprehensive, because, as you know, it's offal, and can have a strong irony, bitter taste, and an unappealing texture. However, this place was recommended to me, and it turned out to be a bull's-eye. The saumagen turned out to be absolutely delicious, full of umami flavor, meaty, firm, and dense, and the additions of local sausage, classic sauerkraut, and potatoes were absolutely remarkable. It's a simple dish, without any special philosophy, but it's so satisfying that I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. My beloved, on the other hand, opted for the classic schnitzel served with potato salad, and it was also very good, with a predominance of meat rather than breading, as is sometimes the case. The salad, on the other hand, perfectly balanced the flavor of the potatoes, the vinegary acidity, and the onion-chive elements. Everything was complemented by the excellent local wine; dinner wouldn't be complete without it. And the friendliness of the staff only enhanced the experience. A great place and excellent German cuisine! Thank you :)

We went there last weekend with friends on the recommendation of a friend of the establishment, and we were not disappointed. The service was exceptionally friendly and the food was delicious. Since we came on the recommendation, the chef (Sören) insisted on playing a birthday song for our friend, whose birthday it was, and even gave her a small gift. All in all, a wonderful evening. A great atmosphere with a live band!

The restaurant is in its fifth generation and is approximately 300 years old. It has a lively atmosphere, with live music, where people get up and dance, interact, and the servers are super lively and good-natured. The food is delicious. I didn't remember to take pictures because I danced so much.

The service was unfriendly. The live band was simply awful. They kept playing even when the Glockenspiel was playing. The food was okay, but it arrived late. At least they gave us a free wine spritzer because it arrived late. Disappointing.

I had a wonderful time at Drosselhoff — the food was excellent, beautifully presented and full of flavor. The attention to detail in both the menu and the service made the evening really enjoyable. A special mention goes to the duo musicians playing that night (27 July) their set was the perfect backdrop to the evening, elegant and atmospheric without ever overwhelming the conversation. Their musicianship brought a lot of warmth and charm to the whole experience. Thanks to the entire team — looking forward to returning!

Ladies and gentlemen, how this restaurant received such a positive review is a mystery to me... The schnitzel came straight from the deep fryer. The fried fish had to be returned to the kitchen after two attempts (unfortunately not cooked through). It's clear that we're in the Drosselgasse, a tourist area. Anyone who has come to know and love good German food won't award this restaurant more than three stars.

A rustic restaurant with an outdoor terrace. We were a group of 30 people, and our tables were set in a truly old-school style, with folded napkins (simple paper napkins) in a water glass. The menu we received wasn't bad in concept. But the quality, or rather the result on the plate, was rather basic cafeteria fare. The vegetarian menu was particularly unimaginative. The service was very fast but, with the exception of one younger colleague, very brief. My questions about the wine or the menu were either answered incorrectly or curtly. For example, the answer to my question about what kind of sauce the chicken would be, "Just a sauce." 🧐 But the live music deserves special mention. They were very attentive, but the quality took some getting used to. All the songs were very dated. 😀 If you only stayed for a short time to eat, you could definitely bear it. We were there for over two hours... But at the end, there was also a real highlight: the preparation of the Rüdesheimer coffee.

We had a wonderful meal and received excellent service. Our waitress, Mr. Hamodi, was very kind and attentive. We felt very comfortable, a huge compliment.

What a fantastic evening! The food was simply amazing and tasted top-notch. Huge praise goes to the kitchen, who really went out of their way to accommodate us with a guest who had very specific dietary requirements. That's definitely not to be taken for granted! The value for money here is also absolutely spot on – you really get what you pay for. A very special thank you goes to our waitress, the lovely Kerstin. She was incredibly attentive, super accommodating, and also incredibly personable. Waiters like her are unfortunately far too rare these days. Keep up the good work, Kerstin!

Fantastic German experience, especially the live music...seems like the place to be...

Finally, a vegan dish on the menu, which Amudi brought out in no time. Totally reasonable value for money. And don't worry, the menu says meat eaters won't go hungry either. ;-)

We visited the Drosselhof today with a large tour group and felt "incredibly comfortable" from the very first second. The service was absolutely prompt and very friendly. I especially want to mention Kerstin. Despite the busyness, she always had a smile for us and we laughed heartily with her. The food was very good, and there was plenty of everything. The location is also charming, and the entire restaurant is beautiful, quaint, and cozy, and to top it all off, there was live music. Thank you so much for the wonderful time with you.

This restaurant cafe is located in one of the gorgeous alleyways in the historic yet charming Drosselgasse village in Rudesheim. It was raining hard and we decided to take a pit stop at this restaurant. The waitress was very rude and forced us to order from the dinner menu. We insisted we just wanted an apple strudel (which was just okay), wine flight and a glass of Riesling. There are plenty of choices in the village, so I would not recommend this establishment

The food was OK. Unfortunately, it was very expensive and the whole place was a bit dated. The service was super friendly.

We made a reservation in advance for 14 people, and the reception and service were very friendly and seamless! Overall, we were all very satisfied. We just felt sorry for the solo entertainer, as his 1970s music wasn't very popular. But it was still a good choice to start the evening 😁. Keep up the good work and stay as friendly as I've seen you!

The food is convenience food, all swimming in oil, really not good. Tough meat, soggy, dripping fried potatoes, and onions that are liquid instead of having any consistency. You basically just taste the fat. The fries and salad were okay. The atmosphere is very central and the location is great, the decor is traditional and nice. Unfortunately, the live music is way too loud. The service is fine, friendly, and super fast. The food arrived very quickly!

Unfortunately, the food wasn't that good. Horrible live music played for a group of 80 English people. We quickly ate the not-so-tasty food and then immediately left.

Last Friday, 13 of us were at the Drosselhof. The food was good, and we had a great time. Our server, Kerstin, was in a good mood, very friendly, and joined in on the fun.

Tourist Trap. Food is fine, service was really bad and unfriendly. When we tried to get our food packed, they just gave us a piece of aluminium foil (which is not a good option for liquids). They also tried to delete this review which explains why the overall reviews are so good.

The food was prepared without love. Doreen was very unfriendly and in a bad mood. I wouldn't recommend it.

The meat tasted like shoe soles and the service was very unfriendly. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it despite the good location.

We take schnitzel and mix grill that was good wven if there is better. Ok in all.

We entered the restaurant and, according to the waiter, we had free seating. A friendly waitress came immediately and took our order. The food arrived very quickly, about 5 to 10 minutes later. So, neither fish nor schnitzel, and certainly not asparagus, which is prepared freshly that quickly. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was too salty, and the asparagus was partly soggy, partly hard, simply bad. While we were eating, the waiter put out a "reserved" sign without comment. We'd barely finished our food when the friendly waitress came to take the cash because of a shift change. I had already finished my drink, and my wife was still half full. I was wondering whether I should have another drink. The friendly waitress said why not, and I ordered another drink, paid, and gave a generous tip. As soon as I had my drink and the friendly waitress had left, the waiter came and asked us to vacate the table, as he now had guests who had reservations. If he had said that earlier, we wouldn't have sat there, and I wouldn't have ordered another drink. I told him we'd be leaving in five minutes because we had to catch the train anyway. But that wasn't enough for him; we should vacate the table immediately. Honestly, that's not possible. You won't see us there again. That wasn't correct.

Absolutely fabulous restaurant. Enjoyed our Sauerbraten. 2nd time here. I also lost my phone at this restaurant down between a wall & window(long story) while on a river cruise and the owner later got it out of the wall and posted it back to me in Australia. The gentleman serving us was uncooperative, didn’t provide good service ( no napkins for main course , for the cheese plate we asked to take away what was left and we were serve with aluminium foil?!? , and for the meal I got a sauce in a straight package , not even a small bowl ) Food was 2/5 comparing to other restaurant in Rudesheim and the service really bad.

All in all, I found it a bit bland. We expected better quality food, especially at such high prices. The asparagus cream soup was very watery and was served with toast. The mountain snails tasted a bit bland and not particularly fresh. Overall, the menu was very meat-heavy. The service seemed a bit overwhelmed, rushed and not that attentive. When the roof was raised halfway, another guest was dripping from the roof directly onto his head. Why did every waiter miss this, but not our table? Atmosphere was good, you are right in the middle of the action on Drosselgasse. Unfortunately, the furnishings and location were my only highlight of this visit.

The location of the Drosselhof is really great – in the middle of Rüdesheim and very beautifully located. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio leaves a lot to be desired. A small side salad for €5.50 came with hardly any dressing, which also tasted of almost nothing. My asparagus dish cost around €33, but there was only a little hollandaise sauce. When I asked for a little more, I got some - but had to pay an extra €2.50 for it. I honestly find that disgraceful.

The restaurant scores with its central location and the charming view of the carillon - definitely a plus for visitors looking for a special atmosphere. The kitchen is rather conventional, but in the high-priced segment. The dishes are solid, but for the price asked a little more sophistication would be desirable. A real insider tip if you want to dine in a pleasant environment - although I would advise against the "vegan schnitzel", unfortunately that wasn't convincing. :)

Friendly environment, Tourist trap dinner…..

A restaurant with a really nice atmosphere. Satisfying the restaurant experience with the local smell rather than the taste of the food. I don't know if it's like this every night, but it's a fun atmosphere where everyone sings and dances together.

Rustic, quaint restaurant with good home cooking. The location in the middle of Drosselgasse and the hourly chimes are unique. The waitresses were very nice and we were served quickly. The mixed grill was very good and plentiful. Children are also taken into consideration.

Average food. Convenience products. Lacked spice and salt.

So we can't understand the positive recessions here. The food is really at the level of a snack bar/motorway service station and, considering the quality (it will primarily be frozen food), is very expensive. The service was very friendly, the restaurant and the sanitary facilities were clean. As I read in another review, the accusation of defamation is also being used here, which falsifies the rating. There is no other way to get such a good performance rating.

Although it was a little early for high season, customers were arriving one after another during dinner time. We recommend making a reservation to secure your seat. The food was very tasty. The Rheingauer schnitzel with mushroom sauce, the regular schnitzel, and the sausage platter were all delicious. When the camembert cheese croquettes are hot, the cheese melts from inside, so it's delicious when eaten with bread. There was live music in the store, and the store staff also participated in the performance. It's a crowded restaurant, so it takes a while for your food and drinks to come out.

I've rarely experienced such unfriendly service. The female waitress was completely annoyed when she had to take our order. All we heard was, "Let's see how long we're open, maybe half an hour." Then there was a spoiled blueberry in one of our drinks, and we still had to pay the full price without anyone apologizing.

Delicious food and very good service. The waiter who served us, Hamudi, impressed us because he is very professional, nice, with the smile on his face and attentive to all the details. Rare to find someone who works with so much passion. Thanks for that. We felt very good and we can only recommend the place for the food and the atmosphere.

Here are my experiences in this restaurant: first the positive ones: the reservation worked, the decorations are Christmassy and nice, the food was okay. Now to the negatives: I ordered a wine spritzer. 0.2 as wine on the bill for 6.90 euros. Pretty tight, I think. Whenever the door opened, it felt cold and uncomfortable. A complaint from a neighbor at the table about her dish was handled very unprofessionally. This then disturbed and affected everyone at the table. My conclusion: "Tourist check-in point" almost no one comes there again anyway...

I had the sauerbraten and it was also very tasty. Unfortunately some of the plates were still dirty. The service was a disgrace… We were assigned a table next to the kitchen. We could hear the service staff insulting each other or the guests. It was really strange because the staff knew full well that we could hear you, but they still behaved in an impossible way. The statement “only today the “crap” (Google didn’t want to publish the actual word used) is over” was really the most harmless statement.

Some guests enjoy belittling the restaurant's good reputation with inane statements. I would first like to mention that the Drosselhof has existed as a restaurant since the 1950s. If the previous and current managing directors had not worked passionately and with full commitment day after day, this restaurant would no longer exist. I've been here several times as a guest, it's always been tasty and no one has been rude to me. However, I also have the necessary respect for the employees in the industry, who do a backbreaking job for the well-being of the guests. Unfortunately, some guests do not see this, which leads to staff exodus. Love with guests If a restaurant owner decides not to accept card payments or to offer card payments over a certain amount, this is neither cheeky, impertinent nor impolite. The person who wants to impose his rules on others is rude.

We were there for dinner, overall average food, although the dessert was very good. The waitress was always in a hurry and had no time to answer questions about the menu - it seemed as if she had no desire or time to give any information. The drink is almost outrageously expensive.

We ate here as part of a Viking Rüdesheim dinner excursion 2 nights ago. DO NOT go. It was the worst meal I have ever had in Germany (and I have lived there off and on for past 50 years.) Ridiculous price. Dinner was bread with LARD (Schmalz), instant mashed potatoes, horribly cooked cabbge and two dry slices of pork. No gravy or sauce. I would have sent the meal back if I could have. It was a bad $10 convention dinner meal that Viking charged us $315 (for 2). Music was fine. They put some bottles of wine on the table to self-serve. It was clear that we were the stupid tourists to take advantage of for the night. Terrible, awful experience.

Unfortunately, the unfriendly staff ruined our evening on Thursday, December 28th, 2024; As soon as the boss left (who was sitting almost next to us) the waiter was really cheeky. Apparently you couldn't pay with a card for less than 20 euros, but since the waiter didn't speak German very well, we didn't understand that straight away; But he was able to make it very clear to us how stupid he thinks we are!

Unfortunately, the food isn't particularly good, nor is the service. We wouldn't come back. Above all, the vegetarian/vegan food is carelessly prepared and far too expensive.

Always happy to have visitors. If you want to experience Drosselgasse in its historical surroundings, this is the right place for you. Steak and pork cheeks were delicious 😋. The service was very attentive. I'm looking forward to my next guests, to whom I can show a piece of Germany again.

Went there last weekend on the recommendation of friends and were very impressed! The food was just so delicious and you could taste the love. We will definitely come back. But you should definitely make a reservation ☺️.

Was there with a lange Group for Farewell Dinner, sooo friendly stuff, great food. We had a lot of fun.

Maximum average food. Rheingauer Schnitzel - drowned in sauce, and there were a whole 3 grapes in the sauce. Some of the fried potatoes were not completely cooked through and some were burnt. It almost borders on art. We were half-heartedly asked if everything was okay and our “well not really” was not responded to further. There is one star for the breaded schnitzel and one star for the quick meal.

Hello, I can't quite understand the high rating. The service is good, the food is ok, the background noise is borderline.

Von zehn Essen wahren acht mäßig. Fade gewürzt und nichts sagend. Zu den Pommes gibt’s eine Tube Majonäse vom Aldi und zum Saumagen ein kleines Tütchen Senf. Der Service war gut. Achtung.: Fast jeden Abend findet ein „Folkloreabend“ für Flusskruzfahrer statt. Das ist sehr laut und stöhnend.

In September we were guests at the Drosselhof. Our group consisted of 15 people. Not only did we eat well, but we also had a really nice and entertaining evening with a few bottles of the good house wine. We all really enjoyed the food and the menu just fits the location. The service was also excellent for us. We will definitely visit the Drosselhof again on our next visit.

The food was excellent. You could tell that the food was freshly prepared. The service was fantastic. To put it simply, we felt completely at home here.

This site is imposing over another similar business. It is a pity that good business manners are not being observed. when an internet sear h us done with a similar name, the true business cannot be located on trip advisor which is VERY ODD

We had pre-ordered food with a larger group. The portions were small and sometimes cold. The “vanilla sauce” on the dessert was 3-4 mini squirts. When we asked, the staff tried to bring us a little more sauce. However, the chef took a stand. The portions would be counted like this. All in all, the price for a “half main course”, without vegetables or a side salad and a “half dessert” for €25 was far too expensive. Just a tourist rip-off.

Yesterday we were at the Drosselhof with a group of seniors. Beforehand, I had the task of choosing a suitable restaurant for a group lunch after our boat trip. I chose the Drosselhof based on the reviews. The reservation was made promptly and the contact was friendly. The menu was emailed to us immediately and we were able to choose the dishes on the bus and give them over the phone. On arrival we were warmly welcomed, the seats were reserved for us and the drinks and food were served quickly by friendly staff. An ordering error was corrected quickly. The sauerbraten deserved special praise, as it was tender as butter and everyone enjoyed it very much. What we missed on the menu was a salad plate for not-so-hungry seniors. We were completely satisfied and can highly recommend the Drosselhof, especially for group trips. If the opportunity arises, we would be happy to come back. The personal farewell from the boss is also worth mentioning.

Be very careful with this establishment. They wanted to charge us more. More than €10 for the consumption of a Coca-Cola and 5 coffees. Shameful to want to take advantage of tourism in that way.

We visited the Drosselhof on August 17th because of the good Google reviews. Unfortunately, the beautiful ambience raised false hopes for the food. The dishes were a series of convenience products. Chanterelles with rösti, Rhenish sauerbraten, salmon trout fillet with green sauce - none of it seemed home-made or prepared. In terms of taste, it was correspondingly bland. The atmosphere in the restaurant, on the other hand, was good; a solo entertainer was playing for an American tour group. However, this also shows the target group. The restaurant offers good entertainment for foreign tourists, but for locals who have already experienced the above-mentioned dishes elsewhere and know how good they actually taste, it is unfortunately a disappointment. PS: Since the Google review from acquaintances who recently had similar experiences at the Drosselhof was deleted due to "defamation", I would like to note: I have kept the receipt and can prove my test meal to Google, so attempting to delete it is pointless.

Very nice and helpful service. The portions are large and the prices are affordable. Only the wine prices are too high in my opinion, the prices in nearby restaurants are much lower. Still, I recommend it.

We were guests in August 2024 with a larger group, mixed with meat lovers and vegetarians. The positive first. The atmosphere is really nice and harmonious and you feel comfortable. No train station atmosphere, but a cozy old restaurant that knows how to present itself, which, however, has a bitter aftertaste, as you will unfortunately quickly notice when eating that you were relying on one-off guests. The service was very different compared to our group. Some of us complained of a rather unprofessional, cheeky behavior, others, including me, of a nice but not outstanding behavior. After us, a tourist tractor load of Americans came in, who were greeted with Cologne and whatever else the cliché heart could give. Unfortunately it was a tourism trap in my opinion. The food was OK, but for the price it was an absolute disgrace. The frozen food was an infusion in the local deep fryer and didn't turn into a 20-33€ dish. The selection for the vegetarian palate was clear and there was still a fried aftertaste even though everything ended up in the same deep fryer. Since we came here to eat, it remains an overall rating of one star. The postponed Cologne carnival stronghold was not ours at all. Service was OK on average, the ambience was great, but the prices weren't right at all. I cannot recommend the Drosselhof.

We met one of the owners. Jon and his brothers took over this establishment a little over a year ago. They have turned something which was already nice into an even more beautiful spot. The upstairs now consists of 2 flats for rent. They are brand new remodeled with great space, classic chic look, very clean, nice bathroom and kitchenette and an amazing view over the Drosselgasse, and a view up the grapes all the way to the Niedereald Monument. Their location is incredible. You can sit and enjoy wine while looking at the Drosselgasse and along the road, which takes you to Seilbahnen for the Monument. It's the perfect corner for relaxing. Jon is so friendly, and his wine selection and knowledge are awesome. His love for Rüdesheim is infectious, and we can honestly say that he made an awesome weekend even more romantic and beautiful.

Komen binnen in de tent drosselhof was druk en gezellig live muziek heel veel tafels bezet maar bij het podium waren tafels vrij moesten alleen nog afgeruimd worden wij wilde daar gaan zitten en werden als een hond weggejaagd dit was te asociaal voor worden leek wel of we de groots mogelijk fout hadden began we leken wel criminelen ze had gewoon kunnen zeggen wacht u even wij ruimen even de tafel af hebben daar alle begrip voor maar de bediening was te asociaal om dat te bedenken die stuurde ons liever als een hond weg al zou dit delaatste tent in rudesheim zijn ik zal er nooit meer een voet over de drempel zetten. Eerder ook om 21uur een wijntje bestellen om dan meteen de live muziek te stoppen is ERG GEZELLIG!! WAARDELOOS

We visited the Drosselhof with a large group of friends and hoped that the particularly advantageous location in the picturesque old town street that gave it its name would not only provide an aesthetically and stylistically appealing experience, but also good food. While initial expectations were definitely fulfilled - the old building has chic wall decorations and original decor - the food falls short of expectations. Obviously used convenience food, starter cheese platter, carelessly taken out of the Aldi packaging, chopped up and peppered with pretzel sticks and everything was slightly overpriced. Due to its location and the constant stream of Far Eastern tourists who may not have any reference sources for these dishes, the shop does not have to score points with special quality in order to make good sales and he knows that too. Regrettable.

L'ambiance est là, il y a un chanteur, de la musique, c'est très sympa mais vraiment un peu moyen dans l'assiette. Bons vins néanmoins.

Live music, great service, delicious food. Very large portions. A good vantage point.

We had dinner at the Drosselhof today, very good food (kudos to the kitchen), very nice, cozy restaurant, the food was served very quickly, the service was very friendly (Kerstin puts her heart into her work, thanks for the fun conversation , kind regards from the Palatinate and Franke 😉) we felt very comfortable and can only recommend it. We will be back.

Nog nooit zo slecht gegeten! Bij de buren was de soep al koud, mijn gebakken (gefrituurde) camembert was al niet beter: rechtstreeks van de vriezer naar de frietpan gok ik: koud en vettig, bah!! Verder geen salade, maar enkel een snede toast… ook voor de prijs of de gezellige bediening hoef je hier niet te komen.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, das Essen kam aber schon nach 3 Minuten, was uns stutzig machte. Naja, ein Fertigprodukt, was ein Rösti sein sollte und eine Bratwurst, die so aus sah, als ob sie aus der Fritteuse kommt, führt eben nicht dazu, dass Kunden vor Freude Purzelbäume schlagen.
