Stopped in here to grab some potato dumplings and a beer with my wife and dad. The atmosphere is nice. The beer is beer. The dumplings were sub par. The waiter, I wish I could remember his name, is rude and condescending. My wife, who is Taiwanese but speaks perfect English, ordered a Radler. It is one of her favorite summertime drinks since having it for the first time in Munich a year or so ago. The waiter responded to her order, but none of us could hear what he said. So, my wife said... sorry, what did you say? He then condescended her speaking each syllable one at a time loudly, slowly, and condescendingly. Good for him that he speaks English as a second language, but English is also my wife's second language. She has a much better handle on the language than he, and she in no way deserved to be spoken to in that manner. He was the only waiter we didn't tip in our 2 plus weeks in Europe this past July. Do yourself a favor and try one of the other many available choices of eateries in Rudesheim.

A restaurant in Rüdesheim where I had a very pleasant and delicious meal. The staff is friendly, the store interior is clean and pretty, and the food is extremely delicious. :) The outdoor seating area was full of people, but the indoor space was quiet so I was able to eat quietly. It's a totally awesome restaurant!!

We had on July 13th. spontaneously had a very nice evening in the council chamber. Even without a reservation, we received a very friendly and warm welcome and the atmosphere lasted until the end. The drinks were very tasty, homemade lemonade is highly recommended, the food (salad with chicken breast and Rheingau schnitzel) was tasty, well portioned and absolutely expertly prepared. In our opinion, the council chamber is always worth a visit.

The food was incredibly tasty and great for the price. I can really only recommend it. And even though it was fully booked and the service was under stress, they were consistently friendly and accommodating. There is a star deduction for the partially covered terrace: if you sit under there and it is hot, the heat builds up underneath. A fan could help here.

Great place for different variations of tarte flambée. The first time I ate tarte flambée was really tasty. Service was very nice, prices were okay too.

Unfortunately the bratwurst was out of the deep fryer and was dripping with fat. The minced meat was steam-cooked and slimy. Unfortunately I can't confirm the good reviews. In addition, the waiter was insulted when I mentioned both things. I'm an expert myself and would never have prepared something like this for a guest. LG.

Steak to perfection, medium and tender, the goose leg was perfect, the sauerbraten and the dumplings were very good and the salad dressing was delicious. The staff is friendly, child-loving and accommodating. My son (8) couldn't manage the portion of sauerbraten, the rest was wrapped up and given on a plate. A successful lunch for us on Boxing Day.

Very tasty food, great wines and a wonderful ambience

I selected a dish of chicken breast wrapped in bacon served with a plum jam jus and a side of potato rosti which came in at 17.90 Euros and was good but the gravy was the best! We chose a bottle of Mannshauser Hollenberg Spatzburgunder Feinherb 2016 at 12.5% volume to accompany at 22.90 Euros. Overall it was very good and popular.

Wir hatten zum Abendessen den Sauerbraten und den veganen Burger gehabt. Beide Speisen absolut top. Das Fleisch war super zart, die Röstis auf den Punkt und die Sauce war genau passend. Der vegane Burger hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen: der Patty war saftig lecker, die Sauce rauchig und hat den Geschmack abgerundet. Die Pommeskartoffeln werden selbst hergestellt und das merkt man im Geschmack. Zusätzliche Empfehlung ist der Glühwein und die hausgemachte Zitronenlimonade (diese hat wie ein alkoholfreier Mohjito geschmeckt =). Pluspunkte: + sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung + das Ambiente im Wintergarten.

Tolles Restaurant. Beim Hirschgulasch Gericht hätte das Fleisch zarter sein können. Aber geschmacklich war es dennoch top. Meine Vorspeise die ich als Hauptgang bestellt hatte war super. Ich wurde auch gefragt ob ich eine größere Portion haben möchte oder mehr Brot. Das fand ich sehr nett und aufmerksam. Gerne wieder.

Schönes Restaurant mit einer überschaubaren Karte und sehr gut schmeckenden Gerichten. Das Ambiente ist etwas rustikal aber sehr liebevoll dekoriert. Sehr positiv fanden wir, dass es gut beheizt ist - zum Teil braucht man im Restaurant ja einen dicken Pulli weil gespart werden muss, das ist hier definitiv nicht der Fall. Nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir kommen wieder.

Es ist ein super Lokal. Das Essen ist sehr gut und die Preise vollkommen in Ordnung. Der Wildburger ist ein Traum. Schnitzel war auch sehr gut.

Haben mit acht Leuten die Ratsstube besucht und dort zu Abend gegessen. Die Reservierung wurde im Vorfeld schnell bestätigt und der Tisch war bei Ankunft auch tatsächlich reserviert. Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Die Karte ist nicht groß, aber man hat eine gute Auswahl. Hatten am Tisch vier Vegetarier, die alle auf ihre Kosten gekommen sind. Im Vorfeld war es nicht einfach in Rüdesheim ein Restaurant zu finden, das eine ordentliche Auswahl an vegetarischen Speisen hat. Es wurden bei uns am Tisch ganz unterschiedliche Gerichte bestellt, von Burger über Flammkuchen, Lachs und Fleisch. Die Speisen haben allen sehr gut geschmeckt sodass jeder am Ende satt, zufrieden und glücklich war. Bei 8 Leuten keine Selbstverständlichkeit. Preise waren völlig ok. Würde die Ratsstube jederzeit wieder besuchen, wenn ich in Rüdesheim bin.

Wir waren zu dritt, an zwei Tagen hintereinander in der Ratsstube. An beiden Tagen wurden wir von sehr freundlichem Servicepersonal bedient. Das Essen war außerordentlich gut und das zu vernünftigen Preisen.

Wir waren am letzten Tag unseres Aufenthaltes dort Mittagessen und ich kann es nur empfehlen, wir hatten den Wildburger und die die Bratwurst von Wildschwein, Top

Needed a gluten-free dinner, and had a party of nine, coming off of river cruise. Big dining area made this spontaneously possible without reservation. Also great beer garden outside for nice weather. Just up from main market square and short way off of bustling Drosselgasse. Professional service. Simple menu with classics done very well and specials to supplement. Reasonable wait time. Great schnitzle and burger, something for kids too (bratwurst/Pommes). Seems like modernized take on typical Rüdesheim eatery- the old school places were mostly empty; this place was packed, with good reason ;) Highly recommend.👍👍

Wir haben im Außenbereich gesessen, welcher durch die alten Mauern und die ansprechende Bepflanzung sehr schön gestaltet ist. Zu dem Innenbereich kann ich leider nichts schreiben, da ich diesen nicht gesehen habe. Das Essen war wirklich überragend lecker, die Portionen waren in Ordnung, wobei man mich nicht als Referenz nehmen kann, da ich unheimlich viel futtern kann. Der Service war sehr freundlich und makellos. Die Preise waren ebenfalls völlig in Ordnung. Ich kann die Ratsstube definitiv uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Sehr schönes Restaurant, sehr leckeres Essen. Getränke, Vorspeise und Hauptgang kamen zum perfekten Zeitpunkt. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend.

Druk bezocht restaurant met groot terras. met het mooie weer op het terras gegeten. Allemaal goedgehumeurde mensen die een leuke avond met een mooie maaltijd wilden hebben. Jammer van een bus Duitsers die het nodig vonden lollig naar elkaar te blèren. We hadden een gang (rollade en zalm) met daarbij een mooie lokale wijn (Gulle glazen en heerlijke smaak). Vriendelijke, rape bediening. We hadden gereserveerd maar door de grote omloopsnelheid was er altijd wel plek.

Haben sehr gut gegessen. Habe den Wildburger gewählt, war sehr gut und mal was anderes :-) Das Fleisch ist halt ein wenig trockener als ein normaler Burger . Dazu den kleinen gemischten Salat und Tzaziki. Alles lecker , komme gerne wieder.

Sehr leckeres Essen, sehr aufmerksame und freundliches Personal, absolut angemessene Preise (was in Rüdesheim nicht selbstverständlich ist) und insgesamt nette Atmosphäre. Total empfehlenswert.

Hier kann man essen...muss man aber nicht... Freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service, sauber, die Terrasse und der "Biergarten" sind gemütlich, drinnen schön renoviert, das Essen allerdings hat uns nicht überzeugt. Fertig Burger Buns, das Patty ein wenig wie Gummi, das Schnitzel klein, die Currywurst nicht schlecht aber Best Worscht kann es besser... Die Preise erscheinen auf den ersten Blick fair - aber die Portionen sind klein... Schnitzel haben wir auch schon bessere gegessen. Im top Touristen Ort Rüdesheim wird der Laden schon weiter überleben - auch wenn wir nicht wieder kommen. Gibt sicher noch schlimmere "Tourist Traps" rund um die Drosselgasse.

Meine Frau hatte das Hirschgulasch und ich das Elsässer Schnitzel. Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und der Service war auch sehr freundlich.

Service was nice, but the food was very bland. The burger bun was clearly store bought and the beef patty was overcooked. The chocolate souffle was almost just a muffin, with vanilla ice cream. The food took around 40 minutes to arrive

I had the pleasure of trying the Viel Sausage and Goulash at the Ratsstube restaurant, and it was absolutely delightful! The sausage was flavorful with nice texture and perfectly cooked, while the goulash had a rich, savory sauce that complemented it perfectly. The mashed potato mixed with pumpkin is very cute autumn dish)))And the cranberry sause😍just love! A must-try for anyone visiting this restaurant!

Wonderful friendly service and great food! Whiskey & Pepper sauce Schnitzel was delicious as was the Lemon & Cranberry Schnitzel. Both cuts were tender and the breading was light.

Das Essen schmeckt gut. Die Kürbis-Kokos-Suppe ist super. Der Wildburger war mir zu langweilig und trocken. Die Salate und und der Lachs sehr gut. Federweißer war köstlich. Der Service großartig und aufmerksam.

Food was so good and reasonable we came back again. We found the service fine . It is less expensive than some other restaurants in the area. The warm apple strudel is delicious.

Quick lunchtime stop.There’s a lot of restaurants here so we singled out this one by filtering for dog friendly places with outside seating,best nearby. We weren’t disappointed. Quick & friendly service,(the server fortunately spoke pretty good English). We both had the pork cutlets in whiskey & peppercorn sauce. I don’t think there was a lot of whiskey in the sauce but there was a lot of peppercorns & it was delicious. Loads of chips too. A good sized portion No veg but that’s not unusual in Europe. If in the region I would definitely visit again.

Eten verdient zeker een vijf. De wachttijd was lang zowel voor eten, drinken als rekening. Zeer Vriendelijke bediening.

Hurtig betjening. Måske også lidt for hurtig, da man nærmest ikke nåede at tygge af munden før ens tallerken blev hentet. Manden var ganske fornuftig, dog var kyllingen nok lige til den undertilberedte side. Lækre rosmarinkartofler. Prissætningen var helt fair, og vinen god. Lokalerne lidt kolde og uden den store charme.

Gullaschen med vildt kød var meget lækkert. Vildtburgeren var ikke noget specielt. Jeg fik rejer og de var ok men ikke noget specielt. Til frokost fik vi flame kuche de var alle super gode. Der var desværre ikke mulighed for at få creme brulle . Der var meget sød og venlig betjening.
