Zum Hirsch W. Gehrig in Heppenheim (Bergstraße)

I'm not a fan of the ambiance, but I can imagine that many people like it. It's in the style of the old houses from back then. The food tastes very good for the price, although the portions are sometimes relatively small. The service is always fast, but you notice that when it's busy and the stress becomes really apparent, the friendliness decreases. Not to the point of being unfriendly, but questions like "Do you like it?", "Can I offer you something?", etc. are largely absent. A major drawback are the invoices issued. Boy, boy, if the tax office or your tax advisor ever sees that, they'll be in a rage. But all in all, I'm always happy to come back.

The restaurant of my childhood. Every time you ordered, you'd go play in the woods and climb the hills. The food was always great, the service incredibly friendly, you could order anything you wanted, and you were never disappointed. The view over the entire valley was also beautiful.

Fresh salads, very good quality and value for money. Plus friendly service. Highly recommended!

The Schmuckerstube is wonderful, the asparagus with schnitzel and boiled potatoes was fantastic, the friendly service was also great today, we'll be back.
