Food was good but it took forever. Only recommended for lunch if you have time. However, the waitress also seemed to be a cook. That was another top performance.

Pfennig Fuchser! A hidden gem. The service is warm and loving, like your own mother's. The schnitzel: fresh and poured into the pan with oil from the bottle right in front of your eyes. Cider, naturally cloudy – from nature to nature. “Delicious” is an understatement, otherwise we wouldn’t have ordered a delicious third Tellersche. The place is cozy and warm, like my Frankfurt. A Texan and German. Come out clean, full, happy, happy and satisfied.

It took an hour for the food to come out after ordering. Instead, there was no tipping culture.

The only thing worse than the service was the food. Completely dry, no sauce and the beef was so tough and stringy that it was barely edible.

Dinner tonight was amazing. My Hunters Schnitzel was made to order. I loved how fresh and crispy it was, along with the mushroom sauce. Great service. I miss living in Germany, and this place brought back memories.

Relatively small, and that can be somewhat intimidating, with a small but hardworking staff, they sell good food for a very fair price. I was given an English menu, probably because my German is noticeably flawed, but I had no complaints. Service was friendly and patient by German standards, while retaining the business-like indifference which is the cultural norm here.

A very basic German local restaurant. When you enter, you will nod your head at the heavy and quiet atmosphere. It's a place where only local people come, but it feels like there aren't many people there. When I went there, four men were drinking beer and an old couple was talking nonsense. I liked it more because the servers weren't overly friendly. They give detailed explanations, but I feel like I'm in Germany because they only pass on information without a smile. The food is not particularly delicious, but the prices are cheaper than in the city and the basics are good. I ate Haksen, but the outside was very hard. The inside is soft, so it's okay to eat it in small portions. The portion size is quite large and an adult man could eat his fill by himself. Overall satisfied. I intend to visit again if I get the chance. The kitchen seems to close around 20:30. disadvantage - Card calculation not possible. There is an ATM not far away. - A bit far from downtown. If you happen to pass by near Jungang Station, stop by and you won't need to walk 30-40 minutes to eat there.

Der Abend fing gut an, die Bedienung teilte mir gleich bei der Begrüßung mit, dass ich ca eine Stunde Geduld haben muss bis mein Essen kommt. Meine Antwort war,“ kein Problem wenn ich schon mal was zu trinken bekomme. Nach ca zehn Minuten bekam ich endlich eine Speise— und Getränkekarte. Nach weiteren fünfzehn Minuten kam die Bedienung wieder an meinen Tisch und fragte was ich gewählt hätte. Ich bestellte ein Weizen vom Fass und eine Schweinehaxe. Alle Gäste rundum, die nach mir kamen, hatten ihre Getränke schon als ihr auffiel dass ich noch ohne Getränk war. Die Bedienung kam dann mit einem Pils 0,4 stellte es hin und bevor ich etwas sagen konnte war sie schon wieder weg. Das Essen kam dann erheblich schneller als erwartet, nach ca 30 Minuten. Ich war positiv überrascht, und bestellte ein weiteres Bier. Das Procedere von der ersten Getränkebestellung wiederholte sich. Während ich gegessen habe bestellte ich ein weiteres Bier, ich warte heute noch. Die Schweinhaxe war dem Preis angemessen, geschmacklich sehr gut nur etwas trocken und nicht wirklich heiß! Es ist sehr schade dass dieses gute Restaurant sich durch zu wenig Personal selbst ruiniert!

I've been here twice and had the cordon bleu once and the paprika schnitzel once. Both things tasted really delicious. I just found the accompanying fries a bit strange, but still okay. At least nothing was left both times. The employees seem very stressed, especially when there is a lot of traffic, which sometimes makes communication seem a little unfriendly (without meaning any harm). I actually wanted to eat here a third time, but was greeted with the words "The meal takes an hour." But if the restaurant isn't full and you eat here, you can enjoy the cozy atmosphere. At around €20 per person (for food and a drink), I think the prices are absolutely reasonable. Gladly again!

Dieser laden lag genau gegenüber meines hotels,u ich dachte echt,wow,hausmannskost u deftig halt. Hatte mich für das gulasch mit nudeln entschieden. Es war wenig los bei 5-6 tischen. Ich habe auf die bestellung etwa 35 min gewartet u war entsetzt. Eine kleine portion u nicht mit nudeln,sondern spätzle! Was soll ich sagen,es schmeckte nach nix,weder die nudeln ,noch das gulasch. Das fleisch war alles fast nur wabbelkramm,kaum echt mageres fleisch,u echt nicht essbar. Würde ich nichtmal meinem hund zum fressen geben. Bin eigendlich leicht zufrieden zu stellen,aber das war echt ne frechheit!

Small but very welcoming place, there were 2 of us on 2 tables together, they put other guests in, in Italy this rarely happens, but that's fine, it makes for conversation. Service efficient but a little slow but everything was full so it was understandable. Decent food, I first had a decent onion soup, then a cordon blue, I remembered that it was supposed to have ham and cheese but I didn't see the ham. The creaming was a little too thick. So not enough.

The traditional German restaurant reviewed, the boiled pig's feet are very delicious, the frankfurter sausage is also good but the portion is small. There's only one waiter outside, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and it seems like you can only pay by credit card here.

The beach is disastrous due to seaweed and algae that foul both the beach and the air. We complained about this and had received the reply from the tour guide that it is a natural problem. We replied to her that this is not a natural problem, lack of interest and labor. I showed the tour guide pictures from other hotels that are close to us. The beach was perfect. We wanted to move to another hotel and had received the answer that we should pay 800 euros for 8 days. At the hotel there are many Americans who unfortunately drink alcohol next without a break and encouraging themselves during all the criticism and do not show the slightest consideration that there are other hotel guests. The music level at the beach is all too loud. Despite pointing out unfortunately nothing happened. You expect that there will be various sports activities, but unfortunately this is not the case. Food is ok but no more so. There are some kind and talented staff in the restaurant, e.g. Vincento, Leonardo and a few more.

Cash only. Very friendly service. My Lunch was excellent. The Schweinshaxe was served with sauerkraut and roasted potatoes. The skin was crispy and tasty. I’d recommend.

Rude and appaling treatment. Don't come here if you're a tourist! They'll treat you badly. We arrive and the first thing the waiter does is pointing at our seats, no hello or welcome. She doesn't even give us the menu or remove the dirty dishes from our table. She ignores us. We finally order but she comes back 5 mins later saying she can't find our order. We had ordered literally a few minutes prior with her. She gives us our food but not the forks and spoons. I tell her that. Annoyed, she sighs "I know" and disappears again. Again, I have to catch her attention. She gives me a plate with fork, knife and towel and sends me to the table. What kind of behaviour is this? Am I supposed to do your job? Disgusting! In the mean time the table next to us got the food and several drinks in the matter of minutes. This makes me think: are we treated differently because we are strangers? Terrible. And the food? My plate was cold. There was no water or soft drinks avaible. Run away from this place!

A somewhat outdated restaurant. The rooms look like they did 40 years ago. The restaurant is always well filled. The food is German, home-style (schnitzel, knuckle, salad). All very tasty.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommene Speisegaststätte. Die Räumlichkeiten sehen aus wie vor 40 Jahren. Das Lokal ist immer gut gefüllt. Das Essen deutsch, gutbürgerlich (Schnitzel, Haxe, Salat). Alles ist sehr lecker. Und günstig. Wir waren zweimal da und wurden nicht enttäuscht.

We are frequent hotel guests. I've eaten here several times. I wish they would offer the creamy peppercorn sauce for the schnitzel. In Mainz and Wiesbaden this is standard with the schnitzel. Need to improve the mushroom sauce. It is too thin and watery.

It's late, but we walked to the restaurant from the hotel. There was a place nearby that sold Schweinhaxen and schnitzel. Although the haxen was too hard Inside is delicious The cabbage kimchi was great. Food is good overall

The ambience of this restaurant is really very good. The soup was excellent, unfortunately the meat was raw and spoiled everything else. We waited a long time for our food, we had to call the waiter several times to serve us drinks. You see blood on the plate, that is unacceptable. Therefore I have to give a bad rating overall!

The ambience is great right at the front, you can escape the hustle and bustle of Frankfurt in this classic German pub 👍🏻 Unfortunately the service wasn't good that evening, my order was asked again after 10 minutes and you waited longer for your drink than you would have liked. It would be busy, okay, but since there were only about 10 people there it was a bit difficult to argue... Just because of the ambience and the good prices, I would be happy to give it a second chance and come back soon.😊

And when you have a beer in hand, what's a little time? I can't speak for all the food but the Snitzel, potatoes and side of Red cabbage was delicious. I have been here twice now and will definitely come back.

Frankfurt, a notoriously expensive city. Halfway between the train station and the fair. Shank with sauerkraut and 2 beers of 0.5 in a bottle for 22 euros........lots of stuff!

The worst food I've had in the past four years while traveling all around Europe . I also had this food in Köln and Düsseldorf . However, here in this restaurant, the meat is excessively oily and challenging to chew. I ended up using mustard sauce to counteract the oiliness. The potatoes were also terrible, extremely salty. Typically, I manage to finish everything in restaurants, but this time I couldn't. I almost threw up after having it for lunch. I wonder if the workers there even eat this food themselves. Even dog food could taste better than this. 🫣

The 2 servers are about as friendly as a snake, as a matter of fact. Did not get ANY GREETINGS, we had a party of 4, we had to wait by the bar, and the waitresses acted like we were in the way. Service after we were seated yook about 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowlede we were there. Brought 3 soup to the table, I mentioned we are to get 4, her reply was " I only have 2 hands" " trays are remarkable when there is more than a server could carry" I received wrong dish but didnt mention it, so I kept it. Asked for another drink, never showed. Asked again for another drink, it didnt show again. Was going to ask for dessert, but could not get anyone to come.back to table...I understand being overloaded, all they have to do is to acknowledge we were there and let us know, but the servers.DID NOT CARE IF WE WERE THERE OR NOT. Been comi g to Frankfurt for many years, worse restaurant we have been to and definately will not go back!

Preis-Leistung war in Ordnung. Restaurant war voll, leider wie in so vielen Restaurants nur eine Bedieneung die alle Gäste bewirtet hat. Essen war sehr günstig. Kann man nochmal wieder machen.

Wow! Wer auf Deutsche Küche wie bei Muttern steht, ist hier sehr gut bedient. Schönes kleines Restaurant mit Optik einer altdeutschen Kneipe.

Sehr schönes, uriges Wirtshaus. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich uns zuvorkommend. Wir hatten jeweils das Jäger-, Zwiebel-, und Paprikaschnitzel, dazu noch eine Schweinshaxe. Die Portionen sind üppig, aber nicht maßlos überladen. Man wird ordentlich satt. Geschmacklich waren die Schnitzel und die Haxe topp, Schnitzel schön dünn, saftig und Knusprig, so wie es sein sollte. Die Haxe war aussen sehr knusprig und innen zart. Es gibt Pils und Hefeweizen vom Fass. Allgemein ist die Atmosphäre im Lokal eher ruhig, leise Musik im Hintergrund und die Gespräche der anderen Gäste erzeugen eine gemütliche Stimmung. Bei den Toiletten gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Die Lage ist an sich gut, sehr zentral, jedoch gehört das Viertel nicht zu den besten in Frankfurt. Dennoch ist der Ruf wohl eher schlimmer als die Realität, nicht so wie man es rund um den Hauptbahnhof kennenlernt. Wir waren mit Gästen aus Asien da, hat perfekt gepasst. Preislich mehr als fair für die gebotene Qualität. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Ich übernachte öfter im Frankfurter Bahnhofsviertel und ich gehe dort gerne essen, zwischen einem Überangebot an Döner und Asiatisch für mich ein Highlight. Es ist ein einfachaches und leckeres Restaurant mit einer freundlichen Bedienung...

We went here once 1 year to enjoy the schweinshaxe! Apart from that the restaurant is really close to the Frankfurt Hbh station. The rump steak is also fantastic!

What a wonderful and hospitable place to eat and enjoy some traditional German food. Their Eisbein (Pork Knuckle) is outstanding. Took a while for the food to arrive but was worth the wait and as others have commented, there is no rush here.
