Quaint brewery with very good beer. The food is good and the portions are large. The atmosphere is rustic and the service is very good.

I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant! We were there at Christmas and had called in advance because there are some vegetarians in the family and we wanted to know whether vegetarian dishes would also be offered at Christmas, as there is usually always a slimmed-down menu at Christmas. It was said that vegetarians were allowed to order from the normal menu. At the end of the song we arrived and there was only cheese spaetzle for the vegetarians. An absurdity if you clarify it beforehand. When we mentioned it, the service was totally unfriendly. The food was really not tasty, unfortunately many of us had severe stomach problems afterwards! Price-performance is absolutely not right! Since some of us didn't finish our portion and we didn't want the food to end up in the bin, we asked if we could take it with us. We were then given non-reusable packaging and were even charged for it in the end. That should have been said beforehand, absolute cheek! If it had been a reusable box it would have been okay, but even then you say that it costs extra and you don't just collect it at the end. My family and I were there for the first and last time!

Unfortunately, it took a long time to be served and for the food to finally arrive. The food was okay, but nothing I would come here for again. The quality of the pork was very disappointing. The schnitzel was partly still raw. How can something like this happen when something like this is prepared every day? Absolute no go. Went to eat there again after a long time and it was the last time

Undercooked pork (schnitzel) and terrible service!! 20 minutes after eating here a stomach ache for the whole family!! I will not visit this restaurant again! There must have been a change in ownership because this restaurant used to be so delicious with excellent service and food.

Rustic brewery with delicious food, good beer and nice service.

The two of us had dinner there and were actually looking forward to the evening. Unfortunately we found the Braumeisterschnitzel to be very disappointing. The portion was sufficient but the meat was dry. We felt like the sauce was past its peak (it was very dark and only tasted like malt). The salad offered little variety as it actually only consisted of green leaf lettuce. Too bad...maybe the kitchen was having a bad day. We really like drinking light drinks. The light beer offered there tasted more like smoked beer to us.

We were there on a Monday evening. The parking lot was overcrowded, so we had to park on the side street. It was pleasantly warm inside, not too loud and reasonably crowded. The time it took to order the drinks was fine. It took a long time to order the food and even longer for the food to arrive. We had to wait about an hour. The food was very tasty. Unfortunately, the schnitzel doesn't automatically come with salad, which I missed on the menu. Drink prices are okay, the price for Cordon Bleu, if you order the side salad with it, is 4.50, in my opinion a little higher at around 23.50 euros. I also had a champion cream sauce.

The food is very tasty 🤤. However, I wouldn't recommend eating there on Advent Sunday because it is very crowded.

Sorry.. The cheese spaetzle was disappointing in taste - more of a tasteless lump of cheese than a proper dish. The beer-crusted schnitzel wasn't my cup of tea either and it was slightly burnt. The service at the table was friendly, but nothing more. Unfortunately, the lady at the counter was very rude when paying, which further spoiled the overall impression. I can't recommend the brewery and won't be coming back any time soon.

Collection of various dishes after ordering by telephone. Very well packaged. Unfortunately, the quality of the dishes - with the exception of fries and salad - was very poor. “Classic cheese spaetzle with fried onions”: The spaetzle probably came from a supermarket and was dripping with oil. In fact, there were no less than 3 (!!) half fried onion rings on the “Spätzle”. Additionally a touch of cheese. Very disappointing in terms of taste. And the whole thing for a proud price of €13.90. In the second dish, the schnitzels were mostly burnt. Although it is called onion schnitzel, the onions were used sparingly. According to my observations, the quality has declined rapidly in the last 3-4 months. Ultimately, the brewery will be crossed off our favorites list for now.

A review I made on Google about the Brauhaus was deleted by Google after a complaint from Brauhaus. Can that be grasped? This way you can avoid bad reviews. But the unfriendly male service outside again and the small amount of food actually happened, a witness was there. In a larger group, the small amount of food was also noted among witnesses. We'll never go there again and can't recommend it to anyone. The rating was as follows: Now we've finally had enough with the brewery. 1. Portions are becoming smaller and more expensive. 2. If you come at lunchtime, you have an unfriendly waiter who thinks he has to educate the guests. Last summer we were outside and waited forever for service. When asked about it, he said we didn't have to sit outside. Now again: we go out, sit down, wait, another couple comes, sits down, studies the map. After a while I go in and ask politely if we can order. Wait again. Then the waiter finally comes. We: closed menu, our neighbors who arrived later: are still engrossed in the menu. Where does the waiter go, looking at both of us? Of course to the next table! I ask politely and the waitress says she has to educate us! We don't go there anymore. We had similar experiences in larger groups, none of us go. Addition: after a complaint with Google, this review should be deleted. I'm doing it again here. It happened just as I described it, there is also a witness! It's not without reason that the review received 5 likes, possibly from people who had similar experiences in the brewery. Of course you can get rid of bad reviews, can you believe that? You can no longer trust good Google reviews.

Absolutely nogo this restaurant food underground for the price.

The female service was really very friendly and everything worked out great. However, the male service was a disaster. A really very unfriendly guy was overwhelmed with everything and was almost in tears. Well, I would say he missed his job.

Twelve of us had dinner there with visitors from the USA. The brewery looks beautiful and we also had a great raised table in the middle. But unfortunately the food and the service were very poor. The only thing that went well and went quickly were the drinks at the beginning. It was a Saturday, but the restaurant wasn't really full. We had already been waiting for the food for about 50 minutes when the waitress came and said two of the dishes we had ordered were unfortunately out and what they would like to have instead. We knew it would take longer to eat. We were slowly getting impatient. The two re-ordered meals arrived after 15-20 minutes, but the other 10 meals were still missing and still didn't come after another 30 minutes. We asked several times and didn't understand why only two meals came. Unfortunately, when the food finally came after a total of over 2 hours, we were further disappointed. The Braumeister Schnitzel was very dry and the fried potatoes were not fried potatoes. The potatoes weren't cooked through and barely fried. The fries, however, were burnt. When we complained and would like to speak to the manager, we were told there was no manager available or on site. After a long discussion we got a discount and a case of beer. However, we were so disappointed that we would have preferred not to pay anything at all. We will never eat there again.

Just a brewery! Rich cuisine, but lots of schnitzel

There were 2 of us. Ambience is ok. Only the two waitresses were very inattentive. We would have drunk more if we hadn't had to call for service every time. The food was plentiful only the fried potatoes were still very raw inside. But then there was a schnapps on the house. Price is ok. The food also came pretty quickly.

It's always an experience to come here, we had a great evening at the Brauhaus Castel!! Best address far and wide if you like German cuisine and delicious beer. Even without a reservation with larger groups, you can always find a place.

After several years, we spontaneously went there again for dinner, 4 people with a dog. We were assigned a table and after briefly studying the menu, the extremely friendly and open-minded waitress arrived. But she first brought the dog a bowl of water before they considered us (as a dog owner, that alone is worth 100 points). The meal was perfectly timed between starter and main course. All of the food was high quality and plentiful, so we took some leftover home with us. The ambience? It's a brewery and therefore a bit rustic, which then fits with the overall picture. We will be guests there again this week.

Service staff very attentive and friendly. Beer is good but the food was nothing

Loveless cuisine with little demand for good quality. When we asked for bread to go with the salad, this order was skillfully ignored. The menu was probably supposed to be pork pre-eaten with Spätzli, the pieces of meat were very rare and the Spätzli were taken from a dry package My portion of spaetzli could be unraveled in the mushroom cream sauce without any lumps, but the culinary pleasure was very limited. My conclusion: not recommended.

Absolutely authentic Bavarian restaurant with a brewery. Great range of Bavarian food at honest prices. The home-brewed beer is absolutely top notch. The price-performance ratio is fair and appropriate. The portions are almost too big

Went there with a group of 60 people, service was full of stress, you couldn't get any bread, the main course came out of a bag and was done carelessly. I will avoid it in the future.

The “traditional pork roast” was just something to walk away from. Lukewarm-cold, carelessly slapped on it and completely mushy. Dumplings fart dry, hello.

The atmosphere was nice and our service was excellent, but I was disappointed in the schnitzel. Even with the sauce it was dry which surprised me. I think all of us were a little disappointed in the schnitzel.

We had lunch today for lunch and it was simply great and delicious. Always my pleasure.

12:00 p.m. a table reserved by phone for 7:00 p.m. for 2 people. After calling 5 times, someone answered the phone. So far so good. Arriving at 6:50 p.m. the store is full. No table free. Wait 30 minutes at the bar table. There we are warned that the food will take time. Okay, let's order while standing up. A beer at the same time. But, there are no more dumplings or roasts... Standard Bavarian food is just mentally flying away... well okay It takes 7:15 p.m. for the first sip from the glass. 10 minutes later a table. Yeah... "but you're sitting with someone," the young waitress throws at us." Barely good... The people are friendly though, that's fine. Beer empty... I can only order it with difficulty. Everyone gets their drink at the table, but the beer doesn't come. The same thing happens with another drink. After an incredible 2 hours we receive our food. The fried potatoes are coarse cubes, some of them still raw. Taste wise a 4 to 5. The meat is ok. Similar with the 2nd plate. The dishes are not really hot, which means half of the plate is cold. Our table neighbors complain directly because everything takes so long. So we are not an isolated case. And when I read through various reviews, the chef is often overwhelmed. The waitresses were all nice and really tried hard. The salad was free as an apology! Aha, so you know about the problem... 35km one way...Not so fast anymore. No recommendation although the atmosphere is great. Too bad.

Sorry, but that really doesn't work!!!!! Were there with 12 people and waited more than 2 hours for the food, without prior notice from the service staff! (After several complaints, no insight from the staff) Unfortunately the food was also mediocre. The potatoes were too raw, the schnitzels and fries were too well cooked. We won't be coming back!

The cabbage roll advertised on the menu hasn't been available for months. Even if you come to eat at 1 p.m. on Friday, there is no stuffed cabbage. It's a total mystery to me how this works. Then why don't you remove the dish from the menu? The best thing is that we are now traveling from Frankfurt for the 4th time (!) and call beforehand to ask about the dish - but in vain! Nobody answers the phone, even though there are only 6(!) tables with 4 people each occupied. The store seems to be doing well.

Absolutely disgusting. 🤮 save your money. Our meal was completely cold and the pork was so dry I could hardly cut it.

Das Essen war vorbestellt und kam schnell. War aber qualitativ eine Katastrophe. Die Käsespätzle waren Nudeln aus der Packung und enthielten keinen Käse dafür der Salat eine Raupe. Die Reklamation wurde unfreundlich abgetan. Ein Nachtisch würde trotz zweifacher Bestellung nicht gebracht. Der andere Apfelstrudel war ebenfalls aus der Packung. Preis-Leistung stehen in meinem Verhältnis. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Ewig auf das Essen gewartet ( 1,5 Std ! ). Getränke auch erst 1/2 Std nach der Bestellung. Die waren gut. Aber als dann das Essen kam, waren wir entsetzt. Keiner hat aufgegessen. Es sah nicht nur merkwürdig aus, es schmeckte auch so. Teilweise konnte man es schon als widerlich beschreiben. Ging an diesem Abend auch noch ganz vielen anderen Gästen so. Die Kellner/innen waren sehr nett und bemüht aber sie sprachen ihren Frust und Ärger über die gesamte Situation ( hier wurde die Küche genannt ) offen aus. WIR WERDEN DIESEN LADEN nie wieder aufsuchen. Unfassbar !

We tried it again after the food was terrible last time, we thought it couldn't get any worse, but we were wrong! The meat smelled and tasted spoiled after it was with us after about 2 hours, the waiter didn't serve us for half an hour and the beer came after about 1 hour (stale)! All in all, the worst restaurant visits of my life! We also saw mice and for us the Brauhaus Castel is now just called Grauhaus Castel because everything was horrible when we visited!

Wir, d. h. Familie und Freunde, sind Gäste seit der ersten Stunde. Wir waren bis jetzt eigentlich immer im grossen und ganzen zufrieden. Aber gestern wurde ich mit dem Essen derb enttäuscht. Mein bestelltes Schweinenackensteak war erstmal noch halb roh. Die Kellnerin hat es höflich mitgenommen, damit es nochmal gegart wird. Nach dem weiteressen merkte ich dass das Fleisch komisch schmeckte, mein Mann meinte, es riecht auch komisch. Zudem war es sehr durchwachsen, mit Fett und Sehnen, was mir die freundliche Kellnerin bestätigte. Die Pommes waren auch sehr ölig und nicht knusprig. Auf mein Feedback an eine andere Kellnerin meinte sie sofort, dass sie das Essen von der Rechnung abziehen, was ich sehr lobenswert finde. Ich hoffe, es bleibt bei diesem einmaligen Reinfall. Hatte schon mal Lebensmittelvergiftung, brauche sowas nicht nochmal.

I was in the brewery again after 20 years and was looking forward to the visit. What can I say?! It was little attended. We were assigned a table and drinks were taken after 10 minutes. I specifically ordered a non-alcoholic wheat beer since I was the driver. The food was a disaster, the fried potatoes were huge cubes that were still raw, the Brauhaus Schnitzel was too small for the price and not to my taste. The crust was much too coarse (that's my personal opinion, of course). The meat was bland and far behind what I'm used to there. The highlight, as it turned out later, was that my beer wasn't alcohol-free at all. "It could happen," was the reaction of the waiter, who could only be distracted from his cell phone at the counter by shouting and waving. I will never visit this restaurant again. I don't usually give bad reviews, but that was myself for me the summit.

Impossible. We picked up the menu ourselves. Waited forever for our drinks. The food took over 1.5 hours to arrive. A meal ice cold, all the schnitzels were burnt. After a long wait, several guests left the brewery pissed off without food. By the way, the beer is stirred with a spoon so that the foam rises again. Well then, cheers!

So rarely eaten so badly. After 25 minutes the first waitress came to serve us. We already got the tickets ourselves. Then after 1.5 hours a burnt schnitzel arrived which I immediately let go back. So once and NEVER again. I would have preferred not to come here.

I would have preferred to give zero stars if it had been possible. From the staff to the food, it's a complete disgrace. We had to get the tickets ourselves, drinks arrived after 30 minutes and food only after well over 90 minutes. Schnitzel burnt not edible, other dishes not cold and not edible. Unfortunately a huge disappointment!!

Cozy beer garden. The beer was also very tasty, unfortunately after 2 hours there was still no food!!!! There was no response at all to questions or simply gossiped about the chef. So you can't recommend this restaurant. Too bad!!!

We were looking forward to Bavarian food and a nice cold fresh beer. Unfortunately, despite instructions, nobody cares about their guests in the beer garden. What a shame!!!!

I was probably unlucky here today, the potatoes with the green sauce were tough, as if they had been lying around for a long time, the sauce was sandy, as if the herbs had not been washed carefully. I won't be coming here again.

That was a rather disappointing evening. Drinks were good, service was nice but the food was really bad. Chanterelle schnitzel with fries. Schnitzel has no taste, not baked in a pan, but frozen. Fries reheated with no taste. The side salad was good. We were there with 15 people and everyone was disappointed. We won't come back.

We didn't like it. Whether fried potatoes or fries, lukewarm, not crispy, just dipped in fat and served lukewarm. Unfortunately the meat didn't taste good either, it was hard, overcooked, tasted like it had been warmed up several times and wasn't entirely fresh. We left a lot behind. I was there a few years ago (even then the food wasn't that great) and wanted to give the place another chance. But it is and remains not a good restaurant, not good cuisine. Only the beer is okay, nothing else. The service is also disinterested. The managing director should think about whether such a restaurant can exist in the long term.

Just put them up on the Stars and Stripes poll for 2025. #1 spot in Wiesbaden for me

Beer is a matter of taste, mine wasn't. The food, oh dear. The soup is lukewarm and salty. The main course, in my case the Casteller pan, was huge but very tough, and the salt was probably all in the soup. My recommendation is clearly to another restaurant. Wouldn't go there again as my fellow visitors' food was also rated as cold and tasteless. Definitely thumbs down

Very tasty food Among other things, we had a pork knuckle Rarely have I seen/eaten such a good and crispy knuckle. The portions are really big. The price-performance ratio is more than suitable. There are also fish and vegetarian dishes on the menu. We'll be happy to try these on your next visit. I can only recommend this inn. We'd love to come back.

Food is great as always. Service is typical for a German restaurant, meaning not overbearing but peaceful and plentiful. Great family gathering place that will not disappoint. Been coming here for 2 years and plan to continue as long as we live here.

Also, mein Name ist schwarzböck christian und meine Leidenschaft sind Steaks, ohne es zu übertreiben, mein teuerstes Steak war vom kobe Rind, mir ist bewusst das ich kein kobe Rind bekam, jedoch habe ich nicht wirklich einen unterschied dazu gemerkt, das RumpSteak war phänomenal, wirklich ausgesprochen gut, wenn ich es bewerten soll dann muss ich sagen, aus ganz Mittel Europa war dies mein zweit bestes Steak in meinem Leben, sehr zu empfehlen :ps diese Bewertung wurde nicht gekauft ,googelt meinen Namen ich schreibe auch Bücher zum Thema Essen also allen einen guten Appetit

One of the best steaks I've ever eaten, almost the same as the Kobe beef I've eaten, I'm Austrian and hate off-the-shelf food, my name is Christian Schwarzböck, I'm from Austria! I WRITE BOOKS ABOUT COOKING! So really guys if you're reading this, go there and eat this rump steak, it's incredibly tender, juicy and this explosion of flavor in your mouth, so what can I say, it was one of the best in all of Central Europe and I can say that because I I covered around 3000km a week and had already seen a lot, I was speechless and when I returned to my truck I had a smile on my face until I arrived and even longer, which I have rarely felt so intense and satisfying, many thanks to the whole team in the brewery and a special compliment to the chef, in my opinion he should deserve a lot more because he makes this restaurant really big. Thank you very much. In my next book I will dedicate a page with photos to you. Long live the brewery in Mainz

We went there for lunch spontaneously, four of us. What was great was that we were able to get a seat even without a reservation, despite the fact that it was very full. Both inside and outside. The food was delicious and the waiter was cool and friendly. He apologized to us because it took a little longer to take the order. 150 people would be served at the same time. With this in mind, the food arrived quickly after it was ordered. The only negative point here would actually be that we sat at the table for about 20 minutes until the order was taken. Only this one waiter was responsible for the outside area; sometimes you would see a second waitress, but she would quickly leave. All in all a great place, you just need to be patient at rush hour.

Once a beautiful location for Bavarian flair and cosiness, it is becoming increasingly outdated. What's a shame is the lackluster service. Empty plates remain for a long time, requests for food or questions about the menu remain careless and impersonal. The food was okay, value for money too. It's a shame that a location like this no longer has the charm it used to have.

Very bad service! The waiter had no desire to serve us from the start. The waiter was very unfriendly and gave snarky comments… not professional!!!! We waited more than 1 hour for the food. Food was ok but nothing earth-shattering. Unfortunately not recommended at all

Came here to have a good schnitzel with bratkartoffell. And a dunkel beer of course. Beer is great but the braumaister schnitzel was very dry with a lot of cereals on top and too little sauce. The bratkartoffels were not really good. Kinda coarse fries. Not butter baked real potatoes with onion and some bacon. The house, or castle, is really magnific. Another choice of food and this might have been a 5 star experience. Update: I go here today again and meet a friend for nice evening in the beergarden. Had a lovely Wurstsalat and the bratkartoffell were gresy, fron real potatoes. Busy evening there but service with good humour. Danke! Changed the verdict to all 5.

Food takes a solid 1 1/2 hours from order to table, and that's when the restaurant isn't really full. Average taste, nothing really homemade. After an hour of waiting, the information came that the food was coming soon. Then it took another 30 minutes. That won't work. My second glass of beer was also forgotten. I then canceled because we wanted to leave.

First of all, a friendly welcome at the bar, drinks and menu took a relatively long time, we then waited a full 1 hour 40 minutes for the food and were put off with "the food is coming soon". 2 meals came, the 2 other dishes then took another few minutes, so we couldn't eat together. The food was below average. The cheese spaetzle was not edible, the fried onions were comparable to rubber. When we mentioned this to the waitress, we were reprimanded in an unfriendly tone, saying that you couldn't expect homemade spaetzle in such a large establishment. The guests at the next table, who were there before us, waited almost 2 hours for their food and ultimately left the restaurant without eating. All in all, unfortunately not recommended.

There’s only one person who is the waiter, cashier and chef and is doing all the work. I ordered my food with my group and waited 2 hours to hear that he did not get my order and wasted my time.

This has to be one of the best german restaurants I have ever been to I would totally recommend coming here if your new in Wiesbaden

We had a spontaneous lunch there with family and visitors and were very satisfied. Delicious food with good value for money. 👍

The beer tasted very good, the food, we had a pork knuckle, was unfortunately very tough and fibrous and the spaetzle was overcooked.

I ordered the original Bavarian roast pork and was happy that I liked it so much 😋. The service was very attentive and we got a good seat, it was a nice evening 👍👍👍.

Really a shame!! Baked potato normal: some!!! green leaves - bissi salad ad ons like cucumber peppers and co - also mini small addition but included! At Bauhaus you can get a potato on the sauce for 16.9! A chicken mini steak cut into 5 snippets and 1.5!!!! Champions cut - I had fun putting it together... a salad leaf!!!! I asked the waitress where the rest of the salad was on the plate - so I was supposed to order another one for €4?! Why don't you make guests happy right from the start - green background made of lettuce leaves like ALL OTHER restaurants do...

......as a regular customer, living in the immediate vicinity, especially A regular about once a week for 2 dark beers. (so 1 measure and cheaper here than at oktoberfest 🤣) After Corona, the kitchen staff and service changed a lot. ......the new staff wages a power struggle among themselves, which the guests unfortunately notice here and there. 🤢 The kitchen has deteriorated to the old days, but the new head chef Thomas is now trying to change this again. (sorry - the so-called fried potatoes are not as such and also the kässpätzle without onions, this is more like cheese cream noodles. 🤷‍♂️) It's worth a visit, also because of Bavaria. ambience and the hearty “swine” for anyone who likes it to eat. (....at Easter the lamb ragout in dark beer sauce was great 👍) ....that's generally why there are a lot of "Americans" & "foreign citizens" there as guests there. Brewery as such is separate from gastronomy as such! ...the master brewer “Friedel” has been an experienced specialist for years and very friendly during a guided tour, I can only recommend it. "Indiana Stefan" , Mainz-Kastell, Castellumstr.😎 ps: the website needs to be revised regarding “our team”! - not enough mentioned who keep the “load” running. .....also that no brunch is currently offered.

We've been to the brewery twice recently and it was good. Normally priced, service OK. Green sauce with boiled potatoes was very tasty. Overall good. Gladly again.

Large portions, ok price, there is a lot of room for improvement in terms of taste. Price for the evening with starter, salad, main course and drink, without dessert, was €33.50, rounded up to €35. Asparagus cream soup, floury and tasteless, not a good seasoning. With 5 pieces of asparagus on top and 3 slices of baguette. Coleslaw was good. Casteler Pfännchen - knuckle removed from the bone with spaetzle and mushroom cream sauce was average. Haxe was more on the dry side. The spaetzle tasted very bland, the sauce and the soup were too floury and not well seasoned. However, mushrooms were very tasty. Water was drunk. Thank God the question as to whether the desserts, apple strudel or chocolate cakes were homemade was answered in the negative. There probably won't be a second visit. Which is a shame because I would have liked to try the beers.

Leider keinen guten Eindruck hinterlassen: nachdem wir hereinkamen, 5 Minuten am Eingang warteten und von der Bedienung, die hin und her lief, völlig ignoriert wurden (nicht mal unseren Guten Tag erwidert) haben wir uns einen Tisch selbst ausgesucht und Platz genommen. 10 Minuten später konnte ich die Aufmerksamkeit einer Kellnerin, die stets pflegte, Augenkontakt zu vermeiden, endlich auf mich richten, indem ich sie 2-mal hintereinander (und das 2. Mal etwas lauter) rief. So bekamen wir 2 Karten vom Tisch nebenan auf unseren Tisch quasi hingeworfen. 15 Minuten später nahm eine zweite Kellnerin, deutlich höflicher als die erste, unsere Bestellung entgegen. Nach einer langen Wartezeit kamen die Getränke, beide Biere leider fast Zimmertemperatur wurden schnell warm. Nach ca. 20 Minuten servierte die erste Kellnerin das Essen: genau so lieblos wie sie früher die Karten auf den Tisch hingeschmissen hatte, ging sie mit den Tellern um. Diese stellte sie teilweise aufeinander hin, Hauptsache schnell weg sein. Der Spießbraten war ok, der Schnitzel aber sehr fettig. Als wir fertig waren und wollten schließlich zahlen, hob ich die Hand in Richtung der ersten Kellnerin, sobald sie mich aus ca. 3 Meter Abstand erblickte, machte sie eine komische Miene, drehte sich blitzschnell um und verschwand. Sie kam dann 1 Minute später, ignorierte uns und fing an durch alle anderen Tische zu laufen, ihnen die Rechnung bringend und unseren Tisch sehr aufmerksam vermeidend. Schließlich kam die 2. Kellnerin mit der Rechnung und wir sind schnell davongeeilt.

The food and convenience were poor, and the service outside was really unfriendly. The store itself has potential, which unfortunately is not being used at all.

Hello, we had dinner there on Mother's Day. I had chosen cabbage roulades on the menu. When I ordered I was told that these were out. So I spontaneously decided on asparagus with salmon. Unfortunately the salmon (commercial product and small portion) was raw inside. Not just glassy, ​​really raw. I asked the server if I could put the salmon in the pan again. She took the whole plate with her. So I couldn't eat the potatoes with sauce that were served separately. After what felt like an eternity (everyone at the table had finished eating!) the plate came back, but it was completely unappetizing. With the words: "Hopefully they're not fed up now!" Everything except the salmon was cold. The eighth of lemon that was previously on the plate was gone. So that wasn't a good experience. But the kicker was the price for this cold, carelessly served meal: €34.90

This is one of our favorite German restaurants. Great selection of foods for a whole family. We live how they always have seasonal foods, specials, and beer.

The ingredients are fresh and delicious But the beef is a bit tough

We had a trout that smelled and tasted old and spoiled, was taken back without comment or apology, and when we complained later we were simply told that it could happen. It smelled so strong that this cannot and should not happen to a chef. The bratwurst tasted sour, we weren't sure if it was spoiled. The waitress was very nice and attentive and then ordered us a very good Amaryllen schnapps. It was the first and LAST time.

Nice atmosphere despite the commercial area. Very flavorful beer. Attentive service. However, the S-roast was not good. Sauce too thick. Meat good but lukewarm. Dumplings cold. It's a shame, otherwise 5 stars.

Classic brewery with Bavarian cuisine. Prices are current. Good and unusual for a small brewery is a non-alcoholic wheat beer.

I've been there again for a long time and asked myself: why not more often? Everything is just right, in terms of service (the waiters are really very friendly and attentive despite being busy), relaxed atmosphere, beautiful outdoor area, good selection of dishes including Bavarian cuisine and very tasty and the beers are also very good. Please keep it up!

Cordon bleu is horrible - tough meat (hard to cut or chew) disgusting molded meat inside and a spoonful of cooked cheese and, to top it off, fries that don't deserve the name. Neither hot nor crispy - just mushy. I couldn't eat them. I left the brewery happier.

Shortly after taking the order, the food was brought directly and well before the drinks. Despite requests, cutlery was not brought and we had to take it from the neighboring table. The knuckle, which was light and only a third crispy, tasted okay. Haxe was complained about, but we were immediately made to feel guilty by saying: "Then we'll take it back and throw it away." My cordon bleu was so dry, small and dark that it couldn't be cut. The beer was good. The staff is not open to criticism. There was no soap anywhere in the toilets. The waitress received the information in an unfriendly and annoyed manner. It's a shame that such a beautiful brewery has become so bad. We wish you all the best and hopefully we will soon realize that the food will be of much better quality and passed on to the guest in a more appreciative manner.

I've been there twice now. I had the vegetarian tarte flambée once and cheese spaetzle once. You could eat the tarte flambée, although it was a disgrace for the price. The cheese spaetzle was a disaster. Cheap ready-made food for an expensive price.

Mega cool food, great quality + absolutely perfect price. Service 1A, attentive, super friendly, everything is just right! We always enjoy coming back.

I have no idea how to rate this stay, beer was good, as was the raspberry spirit. The food in our case, pork schnitzel, was only served lukewarm and very dry. It was okay overall, but wouldn't order it again. The fact that as a waitress you shout loudly in the kitchen so that the guests can hear it, I have no idea whether that really has to be the case. Service friendly...

Das einzig positive das Bier schmeckt gut .Leider ist der Service genauso so unterirdisch wie das Essen. Auf die Getränke 20 min gewartet, die Ofenkartoffel war eine Pellkartoffel, der Salat war angerichtet mit einer fetten Mayonnaise pampe. Tisch wurde bis zu Zahlung der Rechnung nicht abgeräumt. Service komplett überfordert obwohl der Biergarten nur zu einem Viertel gefüllt war. Alles sehr amateurhaft und hat nichts mit Gastronomie zu tun. Die Krönung : Ein Koch kam kurz zur Tür und ich konnte seinen völlig verdreckten Kittel sehen. Und wenn ich dreckig meine dann meine ich auch dreckig. Also kein Dreck von einem Tag Arbeit. Wenn ich das vorher gesehen hätte, dann hätte ich nie im Leben was zu essen bestellt.

The atmosphere is cozy and rustic. The service was very nice. The beer was good. The food was served quickly. The food quality was rather poor. The sauerkraut tasted very raw, the schnitzel was dry and the breading was soggy, not a good taste. The apple strudel was not homemade. More like everything is prepackaged. We'd love to come back to drink beer, but not to eat.

So we were there for the first time and the quality of the food isn't even worth 1 star. All cheap products, not even your fried potatoes are crispy. The taste of meat or mushrooms is not present or bad. The pretzel, supposedly fresh from the oven, chewy, rubbery,... Just way too expensive. We're never going there again. Service was nice and also joking.

I have known the Brauhaus Castel for a very long time. The service was always good and with very few exceptions the food was always delicious (they are all just people in the kitchen). We enjoyed the chicken breast with fries and sweet and sour sauce. I thought it was particularly nice that we got two plates, a robber plate, because I wanted to share my portion.
