The food was disappointing. My least favorite meal during my trip. Service was ok.

Ate very tasty. Everything was fine.

I love coming here and always look forward to the delicious cooked cheese schnitzel! The fried potatoes are also highly recommended. Afterwards there was a delicious ice cream dessert. The ambience could be spiced up a bit now but remains true to its old German style. The drink prices are fair, the staff (especially the bosses!) are friendly and in summer the Fohlenhof is a great place to go with its outdoor area. See you soon!

Unfortunately, the food isn't particularly good, nor is the service. We wouldn't come back. Above all, the vegetarian/vegan food is carelessly prepared and far too expensive.

Service sehr unkoordiniert. (War 3x bei uns am Tisch (4 Personen) um die Bestellung aufzunehmen. (Lag nicht an uns, da wir wussten was wir wollten. Der Espresso kam kalt an, in der Teekanne (wir hatten Schwarzen Tee bestellt war im Filter noch ein alter Früchtetee Beutel (war wahrscheinlich schon mitgespült worden, da er keine Farbe mehr abgab). Es dauerte ewig bis wir dann eine neue Kanne mit Teewasser bekamen….. Selbst beim Abräumen wo man fragte, ob der Espresso, der sich noch in der Tasse befand mitnehmen könne und wir nochmals drauf hingewiesen haben, daß er kalt angekommen war, kam keine Entschuldigung.

The visit was a while back, but I remember it fondly

I've been to the Wirtshaus am See a few times and every time it's been simply outstanding! The food is a real treat - whether it's schnitzel, knuckle or white sausage, everything tastes great! The view over the lake is particularly impressive, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The freshly tapped beer rounds off the experience perfectly. There is an Oktoberfest in October that I really want to visit next year. I can only recommend the Wirtshaus am See – everything is just right here!

The ambience is really nice, although it can get louder when it's full. In terms of price-performance ratio, the food is always okay, but unfortunately the service has a lot of problems keeping up. This means that the drink you ordered with your meal might not arrive until the end of the meal, or the dirty dishes might end up piling up on the neighboring table. Nevertheless, the staff tries very hard 👍

The rump steak was not medium rare, but rather bloody, the fries that were on the same plate were soaked in blood, there were small bags of mayonnaise like at the chip shop, the schnitzel was covered with mushroom sauce, which was done by frying it until it was crispy beforehand if it then got soggy becomes. They didn't respond to my complaint at all. The whole restaurant looks old. I haven't eaten so badly in a long time.

We were there for lunch around 3 p.m. Food very good, service perfect!
