We stumbled upon this place by chance, and we were able to get something to eat even at 9 p.m. The food was delicious, and the price-performance ratio was definitely right. The service was also very friendly. I would definitely come back here again. Very nice, quiet beer garden.

Four of us spontaneously dropped by last night and were curtly directed to a table in the winter garden by the stressed and unfriendly receptionist – everything inside was fully booked. It wasn't a problem for us. However, it took a very long time for us to order drinks and food. Even worse: Our appetizers arrived at the same time as the main course. Our request to take the main course back so we could eat the appetizer first was ignored. Instead, the waiter simply placed the appetizers on another table because there was no room at ours – completely unprofessional. The side salad didn't arrive either – when we paid, we saw that it had been sitting at the counter the whole time and had simply been forgotten. The food tasted fine, but not worth the price. The pizza was dry, the pancake pan was okay. The aperitif was half full, but they just refilled it – no new glass. When we politely addressed the problems with the waitress, she reacted aggressively and loudly – no apology, just excuses. The supposedly large crowd wasn't understandable either – we sat by the door and only saw a few guests arrive. Overall, a disappointing evening. Unfortunately, we can't recommend the restaurant.

The food wasn't good. Whether it was the meatloaf with halved potatoes from a jar (instead of fried potatoes) for 18.60, a pizza that was worse than a frozen pizza, or the rösti casserole with an undefined sauce, the high prices were in no way justified. The ambiance was the best thing about the restaurant. We certainly won't be eating there again, I'm sorry. We were very disappointed.

I just ate there with friends for my birthday. We received a very friendly welcome and prompt service, and the drinks arrived quickly. The side salads and tuna salad didn't take long to arrive. They were beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. Everyone's food arrived at the same time; everything was fresh and truly delicious. The vegetables and fried potatoes were divine. The tartofu and espresso were top quality. People kept asking for drinks. We were more than satisfied; if I had 10 points, I would give them. The restaurant is very nice and comfortably furnished; you feel welcome. I don't understand the negative reviews. I would like to share our experience with you. We wanted to celebrate a birthday in the restaurant as a family (9 people). Unfortunately, everything went wrong! Three people ordered chicken schnitzel, which was exactly what they had stated when ordering. The server made a mistake and they got chicken fillet. The three people understood that mistakes can happen, but we were blamed because the server only took orders by number (which was not communicated to us) and tried to make us believe it was a schnitzel. When they cut into the meat, all three noticed that it was still raw inside!!! Then two dishes were brought out that made me lose my appetite and unfortunately I couldn't eat my food anymore: as soon as the two dishes were served, a musty smell, like cat food, was noticeable. At first we didn't think it was from our food. But afterwards it was clear that both dishes were made with expired meat! Again the server told us that the smell was from the mushroom sauce. When we pointed out to her that she should try it and smell it on her own, she noticed and took the food back. The two people ordered something else. We all understood that mistakes can happen, but they deliberately tried to mislead us. Likewise, there was no stress that day, as there were only three tables with two people each. Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately, I can only give it one star. We had a reservation for lunch on a Sunday at the end of June 2025. Even taking our drink order took over 20 minutes. After the drinks were finally served, we tried in vain to order our food. After 45 minutes, we finally managed to get through to a server who hadn't bothered to attend to us until then. We were told that it would take at least another 45 minutes from the time we placed our order until we could get our food. We then paid for our drinks in frustration and left the restaurant hungry. We won't be coming back and would advise against visiting the restaurant.

You can sense a genuine passion for hospitality here, which enriches the experience immensely. Questions about the menu were answered competently, and time was taken for each guest. This contributed significantly to the relaxed and pleasant atmosphere that characterized the entire evening. But what would a restaurant visit be without excellent food? Here, too, the Waldhausstube did not disappoint at all—quite the opposite! The delicious taste of the dishes completely won us over. I personally opted for the Cordon Bleu with fried potatoes, and I must say: an excellent choice! The Cordon Bleu was perfectly prepared, juicy, and flavorful, while the fried potatoes were cooked to just the right degree and wonderfully seasoned. It was a dish prepared with care and fresh ingredients and tasted simply delicious. My boyfriend was also delighted with his choice, which underlines the consistently high quality of the cuisine. Whether you're looking for a relaxed dinner with friends, a romantic evening for two, or a getaway in nature – everyone will find something they like here. The combination of the idyllic location, outstanding service, and delicious food makes every visit a highlight. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Waldhausstube and am already looking forward to my next visit!

The ambiance is quite nice, but that's it. The food mostly tastes average to bad, like convenience food, and is relatively expensive, especially the packet sauces. The portions are rather small. The worst part, however, is the service and the lack of organization. Our reservation for 20 people was never confirmed, but a table was set, but for too few people. It took ages to order, and drinks arrived after about 35 minutes. The food was spread out over about 60 minutes, and the first few people were already finished by the time the last ones got theirs. A few orders were mixed up, and one meal was completely forgotten. And all this during a weekday, when the place was almost empty. All in all, not recommended at all.

Disappointing Visit – Unfortunately, Not Recommended Our visit to the restaurant was anything but satisfactory. There were four of us and we paid a total of €152 – however, the value for money was absolutely not justified. Food: Of the four main courses, only two were acceptable (chicken steak and pork medallion). The other two (frozen schnitzel and frozen cordon bleu) were clearly ready-made products – tasted poorly and served in very small portions. Service: The wait was long, and we had to try several times to get the staff's attention. The service was generally inattentive and unengaged. We unfortunately lacked friendliness or interest in the customer. Dessert – a complete nuisance: A dessert menu was not offered. Instead, we were verbally given a few options: vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce, "Hot Love," tartufo, and tiramisu. However, we were served three cream sundaes, even though we had explicitly stated that we didn't want cream. Only after further inquiry was this (reluctantly) changed. What we then received: two tiny scoops of very poor quality vanilla ice cream – for a whopping €7.90 per portion! The waitress reacted rudely to our inquiry and emphasized that they had already thrown away three desserts – as if it were our problem. Conclusion: Poor communication, overwhelmed and unservice-oriented staff, and a "boss" who apparently doesn't take criticism. Dissatisfaction was also evident at other tables. For us, one thing is clear: Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing evening. We won't be back.

We were there today. The food was excellent, as always. But do you have to clean the hallway when people are still sitting inside? And why do some people get liquor after their meal and others don't? Because it's 9pm! As I said, the food was good, but the service was a bit disappointing!

Unfortunately I can only give one star. It was a bit fuller today, we had reserved a table. We were given drinks and then nothing else happened for a while until we called attention to give our food order. This was also taken up by a friendly waitress. Unfortunately our food didn't come. We waited for 3 hours and kept pointing out that we had been waiting for a long time. The drink service was good and we also made it clear to the waitress that we knew it wasn't their fault that there was only one person in the kitchen and the place was full. Unfortunately, the waitress became very rude to us at the end and said that we hadn't been forced to come. There was no communication whatsoever about the fact that it was probably a bit chaotic in the kitchen. That would have helped to deal with the situation differently instead of repeatedly pointing out that we have been waiting here for a long time. We didn't get any food at all and then left. Too bad.

A unique experience, a shame for the beautiful ambience, the service was uncoordinated and inattentive, the food was not price-performance ratio. I noticed discussions and cell phones being pulled out at a next table where the bills were being checked. Our table [approx. 15 people] was already ignored at this time, so we had to go to the checkout. The invoice amount was unclear and I was refused a receipt, so I gave in and paid. Interesting business model, but it only works once per guest, because I prefer to eat where I feel welcome

Very cozy restaurant located in the forest. There are paths all around for hiking. The boss is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food very much.

Unfortunately the food was miserable. The schnitzel was frozen food fried in old fat. Roasted the vegetables with a Bunsen burner (you could smell them). The sauce for the Cordon Bleu came from a package and nothing was seasoned with spices. Definitely unreasonable for the prices. The neighboring tables were each offered a schnapps on the house when paying, but we weren't. Service leaves a lot to be desired. It's a real shame for this great hut, but we were extremely disappointed.

Since I'm planning on visiting Wetzlar again at the weekend, I looked at the reviews of the Waldhausstube. Unfortunately, a lot has changed for the worse, and apparently the owner has also changed. Nevertheless, a restaurateur should respond to his visitors, no matter in what form. A lot is now being observed over the Internet, and every host should be aware of that.

I actually never write Google reviews like that, but after what we experienced yesterday I don't think that's right anymore. (Attention, since so much of what happened was partly only written in semicolons) - Good food back then (2022) Yesterday we were there with a couple who were friends of ours, it was just disappointing and we all left there speechless.. DISASTER. Where should I start... - Ordered our food (my husband: starter of hand cheese with music and as a main course bones (spare ribs) with a side salad in addition, our friends: 1x cordon bleu and side salad & 1x chef's salad and I 1x the beauty salad) - After 10 minutes the food came (all at once). We noticed that the hand cheese with music (starter) was missing. When my husband politely asked the waitress about the hand cheese with music, her answer/question was: “Oh, you wanted that as a starter?” We then looked at each other very surprised and my husband said that it was an appetizer and that he had specifically ordered it that way. Well, the end was that he got the starter and the main course at the same time.. - Complete evening: In addition to the female waiter, there was also 1 male waiter, but you could literally look for her, not really present in the area - Food with my husband and his friend was okay, my salad was okay (although I could have made something like that at home). From my friend DISASTER. She hardly ate anything and suddenly had a tickling/burning sensation on her tongue (she has no intolerances). We then all tried their salad and all had this tingling/burning sensation on our tongues/palate. It also tasted as if something had gone rancid in the salad, we don't know exactly whether it was the tuna or the sauce. Taste wise flop. We told the waitress, she then took the salad plate with her and tried the side where no one had eaten yet. She came back and said: “Yes, it’s a bit strong, it’s a strong sauce”. None of us found the sauce strong and she didn't say anything about the biting/burning. That had nothing to do with a strong sauce! - We then had something to drink there, talked and our men suddenly said: “Oh, now the dog is going into the kitchen”. (At first we thought it was a dog that belonged to guests sitting at a table in front, until we realized that it was the dog of someone who worked there) Well, that's when we all forgot about it. A dog goes into the kitchen in a restaurant!! It doesn't work at all. - Last but not least, shortly after 10 p.m., we were literally indirectly kicked out by gradually turning off the lights, turning off the TV, music and the waitress standing behind the counter and putting on our jackets. (Although it's open until 11 p.m.). If you don't feel like working in an industry like this with customers and opening hours like this, then you shouldn't! - The issue of dealing with customers can definitely still be improved - She didn't charge us for the salad but all in all it wasn't worth the money and we definitely won't go there again. It's a shame that the restaurant is going downhill so much, my husband and I were there often back then. Never go there again!! - Our friends have stomach problems today.

We had lunch with you this afternoon. The restaurant is very clean, the service is very friendly and attentive. We had an appetizer that was very tasty. Maybe a little expensive, but everything was fresh and homemade. The salad plate with strips of beef was not only a feast for the eyes, it also tasted fantastic. The tortellini with porcini mushrooms was fresh, homemade and excellent. Highly recommended, it was the best meal we've eaten out in a long time! You are awesome!!!!! We'll definitely be back! 👌

I have to say, unfortunately, that was the worst schnitzel I've had in a long time. It was full of tendons and fatty. That's what I expect from a snack bar for €6.90, but not for more than €20. Far too expensive for what they deliver. Everything costs extra, too. I'm sorry to say, but I won't be having it again. I hope you change something about your kitchen.

Food was ok, but the waiter wasn't happy when I said with my sauce that I didn't want any mushrooms in it... Generally rather unfriendly They also miscalculated when ordering 2 dishes and 2 drinks…

The ambience is, as usual, very cozy and nice. However, that was the only positive thing about our visit. The food was simply terrible. My guess: ready-made schnitzel, ready-made sauce, canned mushrooms. You could also say that the potato pancakes were more like potato pancake soup. Far too much of the bad sauce. I don't want to get started on the gristly schnitzel. There was nothing positive about the dish, apart from the cheese, which was okay. My companion's pork fillet was tough, undercooked in places, and also served in ready-made sauce, which also cost an additional €3.50. You had to hunt for the fried onions that we ordered with it. But then to charge an additional €3.50 for that is almost cheeky. The great sauce with the canned mushrooms and the missing fried onions costs a whopping €7. Not bad. Luckily, the waitress kindly managed to get us the extra charge for the onions waived. Because the prices for food in this restaurant aren't on the low side, you expect decent food and not some ready-made stuff where nothing is right. We've always been quite satisfied, but this was our last visit for a while. Finally, we were offered a tiramisu, which we politely declined—luckily, because it, too, is clearly a ready-made product, nicely displayed in a refrigerated display case at the entrance.

We ate at the Waldhaus and were greeted less than warmly. After we had chosen a table, we were asked about drinks and also about the food. We told them what we wanted for starters and main courses. A friend wanted a starter as the main course. According to the waiter, this wasn't possible. She was told that she had to bring the starters together and that she should "eat more slowly". She ordered the baked feta with fresh oven-baked baguette, as stated on the menu and without honey, because she has several allergies. The food arrived (starter and main course together) and the waitress brought the feta (four mini rolls of pasta) with honey. She asked in surprise whether my friend could eat it anyway, as it had been prepared incorrectly. So the waitress knows that it is incorrect and brings it anyway? And everything was always very unfriendly. The food was then placed there, of course there was no oven-baked baguette as stated on the menu. After we asked politely, the answer was "no, that's not part of it", which was also very unfriendly. My food was cleared away in my face, even though I was in the middle of eating. After our friend ordered a cocktail, she received it with a plastic straw that was chewed and had lipstick on it. stuck to it. Even when we pointed this out, the staff became increasingly unfriendly to us instead of apologizing (as they should have). You spend a lot of money there, and the service and friendliness are zero. And then they turned off the patio heater while we were still eating, so it quickly got cold. After 30 minutes, a man came and turned it back on. It was our first and last visit to this restaurant. The ambience is really nice, and that's about it.

Super cozy decor, true to its name. I had the Waldhaustopf (forest house pot) with two beef steaks, medium-rare on the inside and perfectly seared on the outside, pork medallions slightly pink on the inside, fried jerked beef, and fried potatoes with mushroom sauce, along with a side salad. Except for the fried potatoes (soft, lacking roasted flavors, and underseasoned, feedback on this was well received), everything else was delicious. The owner was super friendly, attentive, and very nice. My good friend had the liver, which she really enjoyed.

The two of us were the first guests in the restaurant at 5:00 p.m. The reception was very friendly. When ordering Wiener Schnitzel, my wife was strongly advised to add a sauce (which was charged extra) because "it would otherwise be very dry." This surprised me quite a bit, as I've only ever eaten Wiener Schnitzel without sauce. Instead of the sauce, we ordered a side salad (which also costs extra). The schnitzel came with a small vegetable side dish, which was very good. My Bellschuh meatloaf already included the side salad, so we both received that as an appetizer, as requested. The main course was served just 8 minutes after ordering. How do you prepare something like that in such a short time? My meatloaf was warmed up, reflecting the short time it took. The fried potatoes, unfortunately, were not crispy and tasteless as a ready-made product, but the Mediterranean vegetables were very good. The liqueur served on the house at the end was a nice gesture, but it didn't compensate for the poor value.

Unfortunately, the food for all 4 of us wasn't good, we also said that the comment was that no one had complained today. Last but not least, the bill was not correct - €63 was too much - sorry, that's not possible :-(. If we had received a voucher for 1 meal for the next visit as an apology, we would have gladly given the restaurant another chance - but not like that.

Food is always super delicious. The portions are always enough to fill you up. With a baby and a sick grandma, we often have special requests that are always taken into account. When it comes to staff, I would say it depends on who you have. Some are motivated, some less so. Overall, I can recommend the place.

Very nicely located restaurant with great interior design. Is beautifully situated in the countryside and a bit away from the city. The food is served in beautiful plates. You might think the pizza came from the freezer with a dough-like base. Schnitzel and potato pancakes were e.g. Prices reasonable.

Das Ambiente und die Bewirtung sind sehr gut. Ich hatte einen Auflauf ,Reibekuchen mit Schnitzel und Champion Rahmsoße .die Puffer waren gefrostete Supermarkt Ware ( dementsprechend einfach nur matschig und geschmacklos) ! Auch die Soße schmeckte nach Fertigpulver. Sorry ,kann man leider nicht empfehlen.

The Waldschenke is located on the edge of the Wetzlarer Finsterloh. A small log cabin, lovingly and stylishly furnished with a great beer garden. The menu isn't too big but there is something for everyone. The service is great and accommodating. The food tastes very tasty and is also reasonably priced. There are parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant, but there are also plenty of parking spaces in the surrounding area.

Unfortunately, not happy with the decision to eat there for the second time. Apparently there was a lack of staff, the food came after a long wait, unfortunately no cutlery. I don't understand it, there can be enough cutlery in the jugs you put on the table, my antipasti plate should be cold/warm. It was just cold, no spices, salt and pepper could also be on the table, you can make it very difficult for yourself as a restaurateur. I won't recommend it and won't stop there again, it's a shame, it's in a nice location.

There were four of us there including the dog. Very friendly staff. The food was extremely good. For dessert there was a delicious masala which we later bought at the Italian wholesaler in Giessen. So we have a memory of the restaurant for even longer. We'd love to come back.

The location is very pleasant, a bit off the road but still very easy to reach. There are not too many parking spaces available, but you can also park on the street. The staff was friendly and everything I could see was clean. I have to say the food was good, but the portions were too small for my taste or the prices were 10% 15% too high in my opinion. A bit of iceberg lettuce with it 5 chicken breast strips and 3 leaves of arugula for €14.90 Beer was lukewarm. Was stored and served unrefrigerated. Staff (boss?) very unfriendly. Young waitress is snippy, has to run to the restaurant 5 times to do the billing and has us calculate the total because he can't calculate 14.90 plus 3.60. We were there for coffee in the beer garden 3 weeks ago and were ignored for 25 minutes, even though only one other table was occupied. Coffee was almost cold here. Service is different. All in all: Not here anymore. .Great! Very good food, exceptionally prepared (the eye eats too). Very friendly staff. Pleasant atmosphere. We come more often now.

We stayed in the waldhaus with 5 people and 3 dogs. It was a holiday. Everything was very good. Delicious food, schnitzel with asparagus, baked potatoes with vegetables, salmon and pizza. The atmosphere was great and the staff, despite a lot of stress, were very friendly. We're looking forward to next time.

In dem Thunfischsalat, müsste man den Tunfisch lange suchen,so wenig war darin. Angegeben war mit Tomaten und Gurken. Es befand sich genau 2 keine Gurkenscheiben und eine Viertel Tomate darin. Mein Mann hat sein Hackfleisch stehengelassen, weil es aus sehr vielen Brötchen Bestand. Die weibliche Bedienung so unfreundlich, das zwei Damen gegangen sind. When we arrived on time after a three-hour hike and were looking forward to a beer and food, the table had been taken elsewhere. Since the owner changed, you can't really speak of anything good anymore. I can't agree with the good reviews. An incredibly unfriendly waitress. We received expired milk and asked if we didn't want to put it in our coffee. It's no longer what it used to be, first and last time with the new owner.

I've been eating there regularly for years. Unfortunately, in September 2023 and on April 28, 24, I had to observe and experience a very strange situation. First the positive: The dishes taste good. The food is served very attractively. Now the negative: Unfortunately you wait about 20-30 minutes until a service person or the boss looks at you and then perhaps comes to the table to take drinks and food. We sat for at least 45 minutes before anything from the order was brought. During this long waiting time, we were able to repeatedly observe discussions between the boss and other guests. There were also very loud, aggressive arguments with guests. Yelled after the guests as they left the restaurant. The boss can't handle any criticism! Due to such a tense atmosphere, it was clear to us that we just wanted to eat quickly and leave. Last year our food was mixed up and forgotten. We looked past that. But this Sunday we found that nothing had improved, in fact it had gotten worse. A pity! I will no longer enter this restaurant.

Been here for the first time. My daughter and mother-in-law have already raved about it. Lots of wood inside. Very cozy. Invites you to linger. The service is courteous and friendly without being intrusive. I had a forest house pot. The taste is very good and also very plentiful. My wife had a Greek salad with fish and pizza bread. Huge portion and very tasty. Campari/O, Pinot Blanc, espresso wonderful. I haven't drunk anything hotter yet. Small, strong, black. That's how he has to be. Clear recommendation for further visits. Last visit on April 17, 2024: Note to the owners: buy grappa glasses. Is important for the eye. And do not serve chilled. Max. room temperature!!!

Staff was so semi friendly. A bit dirty outside. But the food was extremely tasty. So overall it's still pretty good.

Unfortunately I can't agree with the good reviews. I have the impression that a lot of finished products are used here. The taste of my potato pancakes was mediocre at best. 3 stars anyway because of the ambience.

We ate here while passing through. A beautiful place surrounded by greenery. The food was good too, just way too big of a portion. Less is more should be the motto here, not the other way around :)

Just a bad day or the declining branch? The dining room was only half full, but we waited an hour for a standard pizza and a schnitzel. In between, with the wrong food at the table. Then twice the wrong sauce on the schnitzel. The third dish was correct but the fries were layered and cold. And at the climax the waiter comes and gets cheeky: "Next time you'll have to be more articulate when ordering," No apology - just cheeky.

Great service and fresh dishes. Food was also good, but several dishes lacked the finishing touch of spice. The plates are huge and exceptionally large. It's almost difficult to fit several plates next to each other on the table, but it's still possible.

Sehr gemütliches Ambiente, etwas außenliegende Location. Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Wir hatten die Ofenkartoffel mit Salat und Gemüse und ein Cordon Bleu mit Bratkartoffeln und Gemüse mit Sauce Hollandaise. Beide Gerichte waren geschmacklich sehr gut und waren sehr schnell serviert, wir waren aber auch die ersten Gäste an diesem Tag. Die Menge war für uns völlig ausreichend für ein gutes Abendessen. Für jemanden mit großem Hunger könnte es knapp werden. Es gibt aber auch noch diversen Nachtisch auf der Karte, sodass man auch noch gediegen was nachbestellen kann. Das große Getränk (Softdrink) ist 0,5L! Auch eher selten heutzutage. Die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und fragte auch zwischendurch ob man noch Wünsche hätte, aber nicht zu oft, also genau richtig. Die Preise sind fair aber moderat. Ich komme sehr bald wieder, absolut empfehlenswert.

Die Sport Jugend hat hier Das Weihnachtsfest mit essen verbracht es Wahr überwiegend gut der Service auch und das ambiente War zufriedenstellend war ein gelungener Abend.

Sehr leckeres Cordon Bleu und als Nachtisch Schwarzwälder Kirsch. Die super leckeren Gerichte sind liebevoll dekoriert. Sehr nettes und Freundliches Personal. Es kann direkt vor dem Restaurant geparkt werden. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich mit Holz eingerichtet mit indirektem Licht. Wir kommen gerne wieder und werden es unseren Bekannten gerne weiterempfehlen.

Zuvorkommender und freundlicher Service. Auf der Speisekarte findet man auch typisch hessische Gerichte wie zB Bellschuh.

Mein Essen war überteuert und minderwertig! Hatte die Vorspeise Nr.12!! Feta in Blätterteig. Riesenteller war mit einer nicht dazu passend schmeckender klebrigen grünen Soße reichlich verziert, dazu 4 fettige Blätterteigröllchen. Den Feta hab ich gesucht indem ich die Röllchen auseinander gewickelt habe. Was ich fand, waren Bleistift dicke trockene Stückchen, einfach nur eklig. Preis Leistung Ambiente im Innenbereich kitschig bunt, Wintergarten schön. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich!

Einzigartiges Ambiente in Wetzlar. Almhüttenflair oder auch heller Wintergarten. Man hatte die Qual der Wahl. Die optisch sehr ansprechenden Gerichte wurden auf außergewöhnlichen Teller serviert. Eine leckere Bruschettascheibe gab es als kleinen Snack für den Hunger, der anschließend durch das Hauptgericht kunstvoll vertrieben wurde. Ein Traubenlikör auf's Haus rundete die köstliche Speisung ab. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir waren äußerst zufrieden. Gerne kommen wir wieder. Telefonische Reservierung wird empfohlen.

Das Essen war frisch, lecker, optisch sehr ansprechend angerichtet und definitiv keine Fertigware! Service freundlich und gut orientiert. Nicht gerade billig, ABER: Preis-Leistung ist durchaus gerechtfertigt. Sehr gerne wieder!

Waren auf der Durchreise von unserem Kurztrip, und wollten gerne noch was essen. Im Internet gesucht und das Waldhausstuben lud uns ein. Lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen wie da. Die Pizzen 🍕 ein Traum, Spare Rips super lecker 😋. Service freundlich und nett, die Kids wurden lieb empfangen. Sollten wir da nochmal in der Nähe sein werden wir auf jedenfall wiederkommen 👍👍👍👍

Sehr gute Auswahl an Speisen. Der Waldhaustopf ist besonders zu empfehlen. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Schönes Ambiente und ein sehr schöner Wintergarten mit mediterranen Pflanzen runden das Gastronomieerlebnis ab. Sehr empfehlenswert, am Waldrand gelegen.

Sehr schön gelegenes Restaurant die Hauptstraße hört man nur sehr dezent. Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, an und an ist viel los da kann es auch Mal etwas dauern da laut Aussage "die Speisen frisch zubereitet werden". Wir waren mehrfach hier und waren noch nie enttäuscht worden

Chef hat mich angeschrien als ich auf dreckige Teller am Buffet hingewiesen habe. Zudem mussten wir zwei Stunden auf das essen warten. Ich wäre gegangen wenn es nicht die Taufe meines ,,Enkelchens" gewesen wäre!

War nach langer Zeit wieder mal hier essen und ein wenig enttäuscht. Das Ambiente und der Service waren sehr gut. Ich hatte ein Rumpsteak mit Bratkartoffeln und Grillgemüse bestellt. Das Rumpsteak war medium-rare statt medium. Die Bratkartoffeln, waren keine richtigen Bratkartoffeln sondern eher geschwenkte Pellkartoffeln und das Grillgemüse war sehr wenig. Für den Preis hätte ich wirklich mehr erwartet. Schade!

Wir sind heute spontan nach dem Paintball dort essen gegangen. Ich hatte um 17 Uhr angerufen und noch eine Tischreservierung für 4 bekommen. Es liegt echt schön am Rande vom Städtchen umgeben von Wald. Service sehr aufmerksam und nett. Essen war zügig fertig und gut. Speisekarte abwechslungsreich und lecker , mir fehlte nur die Getränkekarte. Leider laut Karte kein Nachtisch (hätte aber auch nicht mehr gepasst, wir waren satt ) Wir bekamen Bruschetta als Vorspeise aufs Haus, Gruß aus der Küche und am Ende einen kleinen Schnaps. Sehr weiterzuempfehlen

Wir waren am 22.09.23 zu dritt in diesem Lokal essen. Reserviert hatten wir für 19:30 Uhr. Es hat sehr lange gedauert bis das Essen da war. Leider gleichzeitig nur für 2 Personen. Ein paar Minuten später sagte man das dritte Essen käme gleich. Selbiges wurde nach weiteren 5 Minuten ohne jegliche Entschuldigung nochmal erwähnt. Mit reichlich Verspätung konnte die dritte Person endlich auch essen. Das Lokal war nicht voll und mir ist nicht erklärlich wie das passieren kann. Zumindest wäre eine Entschuldigung eventuell mit einem Drink aufs Haus angemessen gewesen. Die Speisen waren gut, die Location ist gefällig. Nur wenn man als Gast das erste Mal kommt, hinterlässt der Service nicht gerade den besten Eindruck.

Das Restaurant befindet sich in einer sehr ruhigen Ort. Das Essen war lecker und die Kellner waren sehr freundlich obwohl sie überfordert waren. Ich kann nur das Restaurant weiterempfehlen.

Inhaber und Bedienung sind super freundlich. Auf der Speisekarte ist für jeden was dabei. Auch einige vegetarische Gerichte ! :-) Das Restaurant ist wirklich schön und mit Liebe gestaltet. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist auch total in Ordnung. Es gibt einen schönen Außenbereich, einen Wintergarten (eher für Frühjahr/Sommer) und einen Innenbereich. Das Essen schmeckt richtig gut, kann man wirklich nur empfehlen.

Manchmal nettes Personal, leider hat die Freundlichkeit nachgelassen, schönes Ambiente, klasse Speisen, gute Preise und schöne Lage im Grünen. Servicesqualität lässt nach, Gruß aus der Küche wurde vergessen, Salat kam zu spät, dem Wunsch nach weglassen der Pommes wurde vergessen.
