The location is really pretty, but that's about it. At first we wanted a table inside, but the employee told us that there were no tables left inside. Two minutes later, the next colleague offered 3 tables to choose from. The order went quite quickly. Unfortunately, one order was wrong - the chanterelle schnitzel was supposed to come with spaetzle as a side dish, which my colleague was looking forward to all day - it then spontaneously came with fried potatoes, without any indication. Stupid. Afterwards we were told that spaetzle was out. The pork knuckle was partly very dry and burnt in other places. Oh well. The salad with the beetroot was mediocre - and the bread that was served from yesterday. We found one service person to be committed, the other two unfortunately less so. We won't come again.

The pork schnitzel has a very strong taste. For the price you can expect more quality. It's quite good there for drinking.

I had one night in Frankfurt and just wanted real German food and beer (and maybe a schnapps) and this place does not disappoint! Such a nice place too, nice people, and with the natural wood and looking out on the park.

Excellent meal, friendly waiters as well. Small inconvenience, presence of wasps in quite large numbers... but that didn't stop us from enjoying the meal.

The staff is too slow, we waited an hour just to order, that's how long it takes them to bring us something, and the drinks are terrible, they mix everything with mineral water, not recommended.

Had dinner here on Saturday evening and it was really tasty. We had schnitzel with bacon and fried eggs, fried potatoes. There was a small salad as a side dish. Freshly prepared, served hot. For dessert there was Kaiserschmarrn. The drinks are served chilled. A very friendly and attentive staff. As a warning, there was a hint that there were a lot of wasps outside who were interested in the food and drinks. We then “escaped” from the outside in. A very nice evening.

Unfortunately the service was too overloaded. The ladies did their best. Management should rethink staffing.

The quality of the food should be significantly better for the prices quoted, you can find it much better elsewhere! It's a shame, because it all sounds very imaginative and you sit very nicely!

Very tasty food. Everyone will find something on the menu. There is also something for kids. Children are treated well and are welcome. This time I was just sitting a bit off to the side and the lady came and just couldn't get around. The assistant waitress brought us the glasses quickly and flawlessly. But food? Everything took forever (Friday evening)... Toilet is outside the building under the tower (you have to go out once). This is also the toilet for the Lagom Café opposite. There is meadow all around... you can also step out there for a moment with the kids or the dog. It is not barrier-free, but the toilet only has one staircase. The view of the skyline is really worth seeing.

"A hipster brewery in a wealthy neighborhood with traditional German cuisine. We couldn't find a good restaurant with excellent food in Frankfurt for a week. The food here also turned out to be a problem. We chose the farmer's plate, which was supposed to contain the best of German cuisine. A piece of pork knuckle (inedible, dry,unchewable), a schnitzel (like the school version of schnitzel steamed in a pot all morning, with moist, peeling breadcrumbs), a piece of meatloaf (the kind from Kaufland) and a grilled white sausage (also the kind from Kaufland). Awfully disgusting cabbage, too sweet potatoes and a single potato dumpling, which was a mushy, gelatinous lump of starch. I can't believe people in Frankfurt actually eat this and consider it good food. But the beer was good."

Wir haben Kaiserschmarren und zwei Getränke bestellt, von dem eins falsch serviert wurde. Unser Kaiserschmarren war steinhart und ungenießbar. Der Service war nett jedoch musste ich die Bedienung mehrmals darum bitten mir die Rechnung zu bringen da bereits die erste Bitte direkt vergessen wurde.

We have found our new favorite restaurant for tavern cuisine ❤️ - First of all, the service was prompt and friendly. - My schnitzel was super fried, the cheese spaetzle pulled strings, just as it should. My Kaiserschmarrn was the best I've had so far, nice and fluffy and caramelized. - For the price you definitely can't complain. We'd love to come back. And if I really had something to criticize, it would only be the Wiener Schnitzel, which could be a touch thinner and the vanilla sauce with real vanilla, but I definitely can't deduct any points for that.🫶

The Pauline, as a contract restaurant of the Paulaner Brewery, is a worthy successor to the former Liebe Laube Hope. The food is upscale, home-style with a Bavarian accent, beautifully prepared and also tastes good. The interior design is attractive, but the best thing is in the beer garden or on the terrace when the weather is nice, when you sit directly in the Europagarten and the children, for whom there is also a rich menu, play in the almost adjacent playground. A visit is also recommended during the Christmas season, when the classic roast goose is on offer.

Overpriced salad: Complaints are apparently not welcome My complaint about incomplete ingredients in the manageable (= quantity and products used) but high-priced salad (€16.70!) was initially ridiculed by the service staff, then the conversation was simply abruptly broken off. Bitter to be treated so disrespectfully as a regular guest for years. I would like to briefly mention here that for this price you can get multiple times as much with various high-quality and fresh ingredients from various Poke Bowl suppliers in Frankfurt. The price-performance ratio for the spring salad offered here is simply bad. Double shame!

I don't know who gives such good reviews. Very nice service, nice place but the food is a disaster. We ordered a salad with asparagus, which consisted of just lettuce, a sliced ​​asparagus and strawberries and cost €17, thin schnitzel, breading ready. A nice “beer garden” of a different kind in the Europaviertel. The children can play in the adjacent playground (sand, climbing frames, swings, seesaws and the like) or romp around in the Europagarten, maybe even play football in the football field 100 meters further away, while you can have a beer outside (which is more expensive than other places) or in the rain Enjoy in the cozy indoor area. Even though it has rather higher prices overall, the Pauline is definitely worth a detour. A clear recommendation in the European Quarter!

Absolutely excellent. The service is very friendly, the portions are very good and very generous. You clearly get what you pay for, the value for money is very good. The waitresses are very nice and speak English. The setting is exceptional, calm with the possibility of eating facing the park I highly recommend

I went looking for a restaurant. The staff were really friendly. The food tasted so good that my kids ate it all.

Came here after flying into Frankfurt and the food is amazing!! :) Portions are quite big and the mushroom sauce for the schnitzel is very flavourful - the currywurst is also is a great choice! Would definitely recommend, service is great and the restaurant is very open with lots of natural lighting - great to come on a nice, sunny day!! :)

Somehow I like the contrast between the artificial Europa Allee and the rustic design of this restaurant. The veal schnitzel was of course great and the freshly tapped Paulaner is hard to beat.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe im Februar 2024 in der Pauline. Man sitzt hier grundsätzlich sehr angenehm. Ausblick auf etwas triste Häuserblocks eines Neubau-Wohngebiets. Die unmittelbare Umgebung lässt sich am ehesten noch als DDR Plattenbau in „schick“ beschreiben. Die Speisekarten wurden uns auf den Tisch gelegt und leider nicht wie üblich jedem Gast ausgehändigt. Junges Servicepersonal, wirkte tlw. überfordert. Es kamen Sachen doppelt, dann das falsche, dann auch mal lange niemand mehr. Eine Erklärung der Gerichte kann man hier vergessen, man kann im Grunde froh sein, dass man bedient wird, aber das war es dann auch schon. Der Service wirkt alles in allem nicht ganz professionell. Man war aber auch nicht unfreundlich. Die Qualität der Speisen war durchwachsen. Die Spinatknödel waren ohne Geschmack, das Dressing des Marktsalats mit Linsentalern war eine geschmacklose Pampe, das Sellerieschnitzel war ganz OK. Beilagensalate schwommen in geschmacksneutralem Joghurtdressing. Wienerschnitzel kam mit einem Berg Pommes, ungewönlich, aber geschmacklich in Ordnung. Die Currywurst war nichts besonderes. Das Rumpsteak war eine Frechheit. Ziemlich sehnig, zäh und innen noch roh, außen keine Röstaromen, sondern seltsam blaß, etwas abgestandener Geschmack. Ich muss leider sagen, das war meiner Meinung nach nicht mehr ganz frisch. Das Martgemüse als Beilage entpuppte sich als verkochte Zucchini und Paprika. Die Bratkartoffeln waren geschmacklos und latschig, keinesfalls kross. Leider ein Fail für €30. Eingangsbereich eng und es roch leider am Eingang nach Toilette. Muss man nicht wiederholen. Besser fernhalten.

Definitely a restaurant that is good to visit. The service is nice, the location is cozy. The food was generally quite solid, unfortunately my knuckle was a bit stringy, which made it difficult to cut and eat - but there was absolutely nothing wrong with the taste. Only the beer sauce was a little too thick and a little too spicy for my taste, unlike the very liquid version we know from Bavaria. All in all, a good performance, although a few percent were missing - hence "only" 4 stars.

So for me there is nothing negative to say. Reserved in advance, as always friendly and good service, delicious food at fair prices. See you next year, Gladly again.

Besser als erwartet gefiel uns Pauline im Europagarten. Wir waren während eines Messebesuchs zweimal mit Gästen zum Mittagessen im Pauline und wurden freundlich und schnell mit gutem Essen bedient. Wir kommen gerne wieder, auch mit mehreren Geschäftsfreunden.

Wir waren 2023 zum traditionellen Gans-Essen in der Pauline, da das immer ein Highlight für uns war. Leider nicht ganz so in 2023. Die vorangegangenen Jahre war die Gans perfekt gegart und die Haut sehr knusprig. Wir haben verstanden, dass die Gänse seit 1 Jahr sehr teuer geworden sind, auf Grund der Vogelgrippe 2022 hat sich das Angebot halbiert. Viele bieten Gans nur noch auf Vorbestellung an. Deshalb waren wir froh, auf Nachfrage in der Pauline Gans auf der Speisekarte zu finden. Leider war die Gans nicht so wie erwartet: die Haut war labberig, so als ob das Tier in der Friteuse vorgegart wurde und in dem Backofen noch einmal warm gemacht. Knödel und Rotkohl waren in Ordnung. Wir geben gerne etwas mehr Geld aus für eine gut und frisvh zubereitete Gans aus. Wir hoffen Pauline findet zurück zur früheren Qualität

The park, a perfect setting for leisurely strolls and basking in the sun, boasted expansive outdoor spaces resembling a charming beer garden. Now, let's talk food. It's decent, with schnitzels that hit the mark and a grüne sauce that adds a delightful touch. However, the service this time was like a rollercoaster of confusion. Mistakes rained down like confetti. No garden salad with the schnitzel, wrong orders arriving like unexpected guests. Attempts to remedy the situation felt like a jigsaw puzzle with mismatched pieces. Eventually, the correct salad made its grand entrance, but alas, I had already indulged in the "wrong" order. Overall, not the smoothest ride. In fairness, this hiccup in service isn't the norm. Perhaps the maestro of service is on a vacation escapade. Here's hoping for a swift return to the usual excellence!

Wir gehen gern hierher. Das Essen ist gut, die Servicekräfte sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Ambiente ist stimmig. Schön im Sommer ist der große Außenbereich, besonders mit Kindern. Die zusätzliche Terrasse mit Blick auf den Park lädt zum Feierabend-Bier oder - Wein. Verlässliche Standard-Speisekarte mit ergänzenden jahreszeitlichen Angeboten. Jetzt Richtung Weihnachten empfehle ich unbedingt das Lebkucheneis zu probieren. Ich hätte dafür noch einen Extra-Stern gegeben, wenn es möglich gewesen wäre.

Das Essen ist lecker, gute Qualität und wechselnde, kreative Saison Karte. Gelungene Auswahl. Man kann draußen im Grünen sitzen, bei großer Hitze wäre es hilfreich mehr der vorhandenen Schirme aufzuspannen. Die Bedienungen sind immer sehr freundlich aber nicht immer sehr aufmerksam, manches mal bekommt man nach Anfrage einen Aschenbecher, wenn man nicht fragt dann gibt es auch keinen. Essen wird schnell serviert dafür öfter längere Wartezeiten wenn man zahlen möchte. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Gestern zum wiederholten Mal hier gewesen. Service wie immer sehr nett und machen einen sehr guten Job. Leider hatte der Koch keinen guten Tag. Die Linsentaler waren zu weich und der Teller lieblos angerichtet. Beim Jägerschnitzel zu wenig von der Sosse, an deren Geschmack auch gefeilt werden könnte. Kaiserschmarren wohl aus Fertigteig.

Kleine Karte. Essen lecker. Bedienung freundlich. Preislich okay. War insgesamt gut.

Great place to eat near the Messe, nice vibe and friendly service. The roast goose dish is well worth it and the beer on tap is perfect!

Waren mit 4 Leuten Mittwochs Abends gegen 20:00h zum Essen dort. Es war gut besucht, aber wir haben problemlos einen Tisch bekommen. Das Ambiente ist urig , gemütlich. Die Biersorten vom Fass wussten alle zu überzeugen. Ich hatte den Oktoberfestteller, welcher mehr als satt machte und unglaublich lecker war. Die Kollegen hatten die Winzerpfanne und das Schnitzel vom Hirsch. Alles sehr ansprechend und köstlich. Das Servicepersonal war schnell, wortgewandt und wirklich freundlich. Da gibt man gerne Trinkgeld. Wir kommen wieder!

Essen war ganz gut, aber leider viel zu teuer und hat sehr lange gedauert.

Aufgrund einer Dienstreise hat es mich nach Frankfurt verschlagen und meine Kollegen haben als Abendlocation das Wirtshaus ausgesucht. Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Abend hier. Die Locatiom hat mir sehr gut gefallen..Eigentlich mitten in der Stadt, aber trotzdem mitten im Grünen 👍. Man hat hier einen sehr schönen Ausblick (vor allem wenn man noch nach oben auf die Aussichtsplattform geht). Das Angebot an Speisen ist normal sehr groß. Leider hatten wir an dem Abend wohl etwas Pech. Wir hatten uns eigentlich alle unsere Gerichte ausgesucht und als wir die Bestellung aufgeben wollten,meinte die Bedienung nur das fast alle Gerichte mit Pfifferlingen aus sind. Sorry, aber meiner Meinung nach sollte man so was gleich sagen wenn man die Karten bringt. So mussten sich 4 Kollegen mit ihrer Essensauswahl umentscheiden 🤔. Das Essen kam dann recht schnell und hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Bei der Nachspeise, dem Kaiserschmarrn, waren wir leider enttäuscht. Hier merkt man sofort das dieser nicht frisch und vor allem selbst zubereitet wird. Er war im Teig viel zu fest und überhaupt nicht fluffig. Wir kommen aus München und sind auch sehr oft in Österreich und in den Bergen. Wir wissen also, wie ein guter Kaiserschmarrn sein muss 😉. Dieser hier war leider Nichts für uns. Würden wir nicht wieder bestellen. Ansonsten war alles in Ordnung und wir hatten einen schönen Abend 😊

Pauline ist eine Top Location. Wir haben hier unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. Wir waren soooo zufrieden und unsere Gäste auch. Das Essen war vorzüglich und der Service mehr als zuvorkommend. Hier auch nochmal ein riesen Dank an Dani, die den Service und Ablauf gemanagt hat. Jedes Restaurant kann froh sein sie bei sich zu haben. Danke liebes Pauline-Team, wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Tag und kommen immer gerne wieder! ❤️

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant in einer ruhigen Lage. Man kann dort den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Das Essen war sehr lecker,wie die Limonade und das Eis. Preislich ist ist normal.

Wir waren mit drei Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern hier. Die Spargelsuppe war komplett versalzen und wurde auch nicht besser, als man uns anstandslos Ersatz (mit deutlich mehr eingearbeiteter Sahne) brachte. Die Suppe wurde am Ende aber trotzdem abgerechnet!!! Die Kässpätzle für 15,50 Euro, welche eigentlich Knöpfle waren, kamen schon lauwarm auf den Tisch, da sie auf einer kühlen Keramikpfanne serviert wurden. Der Käse war dementsprechend schon relativ fest. Die Unmenge an Röstzwiebeln stand in keinem Verhältnis zur Menge der Kässpätzle. Der Beilagensalat war mit Abstand noch das beste. Für 14,70 Euro gab es zwei überschaubare und geschmacklich harmlose Spinatknödel, die in reichlich Butter „eingelegt“ waren. Auch hier hat der Beilagensalat das Hauptgericht getoppt. Der Wiesn-Salat mit Linsentalern für 15,40 Euro war in Ordnung und wäre wohl von uns allen bestellt worden, wenn wir gewusst hätten, was uns ansonsten erwartet. Wegen der fehlenden Qualität sind die Preise völlig ungerechtfertigt. Die Service-Kraft war sehr freundlich, hätte aber wegen des Mangels der Suppe anders reagieren müssen.

Bestellt hatten wir beide das Schnitzel mit Pommes. Geliefert bekamen wir 2 Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln. Das Schnitzel war ein trockenes Convenience-Schnitzel. Die nicht bestellten Bratkartoffeln waren nicht durchgegart und sehr fettig. Der kleine Salat enthielt trockene Salatgurken-Scheiben, die darauf hindeuten, dass sie schon eine Zeit gelegen haben. Da hatten wir uns in Summe mehr versprochen, weil der Preis eben auch nicht der einer Pommesbude ist. Angesprochen auf das Schnitzel meinte die Bedienung, das sei "definitiv frisch" - eine glatte Lüge, die man, neben der Küche sitzend einfach durchschauen konnte. Dass statt der bestellten Pommes Bratkartoffeln geliefert wurden, wurde mit der Begründung "das hat meine Kollegin mir falsch weitergegeben" beantwortet. Keine Entschuldigung, die Lüge und überteuert. Nicht meine erste Wahl

Die Lage ist schön und das Lokal ist schick eingerichtet. Die Qualität der Speisen ist allerdings nur durchschnittlich und kein Grund, nochmal vorbeizukommen.

Das Essen war wie immer ausgezeichnet. Schneller und freundlicher Service und die Lage direkt am Europagarten ist einzigartig. Wir hatten eine Winzerpfanne mit Schweinefilet (Medaillons) und unser Sohn einen Kinderteller mit Schnitzel und Pommes. Preise sind auch im neuen Jahr 2023 noch sehr fair (ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis)

Wir haben heute sehr nett gegessen hier. Das essen war lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Der eine vergebene Punkt ist für das recht gemütliche Ambiente innen wie außen. Null Punkte für Service - dieser war unterirdisch. Trotz Tischreservierung wurde uns ein Sitzplatz mit klebriger Tischplatte zugewiesen. Die Servicekraft hat auf unsere Bitte nach Reinigung tatsächlich versucht, die eingetrockneten Ketchup-Flecken mit einem Tempo zu beseitigen, weil sie keinen Lappen finden konnte! Der gesamte Thekenbereich war randvoll mit schmutzigen Gläsern, Flaschen etc. Nicht gerade eine Einladung, wenn man zur Tür rein kommt und dieses Chaos sieht. Null Punkte auch für das Essen. Die Auswahl war wegen "ausverkauft" eingeschränkt und das was letztlich serviert wurde, war lauwarm bzw. im Kern teils kalt und sah aus, als käme es direkt aus der Mikrowelle. Wir waren 4 Personen mit 4 unterschiedlichen Gerichten und keiner möchte ein 2. Mal dort essen gehen.... Schade! Aber hier ist definitiv sehr viel Luft nach oben.....
