A friend recommended it to us as the best restaurant in Lenggries and what can I say: she was right.
We were there as a family of 5 and we all had Kaiserschmarrn, which was excellent quality and served in pans.
The waitress kindly pointed out to us that the portions were rather large, so we had 4 Kaiserschmarrn for 5 and in the end everyone was very full and satisfied.
We were there spontaneously in the afternoon and got a table straight away, but would generally recommend a table reservation.
The building has an enchanting charm inside and out.
The restaurant serves excellent food, in my case asparagus with potatoes, schnitzel and hollandaise sauce, and excellent service! The ambience is also very pleasant. Despite the adjacent main street intersection, it is pleasantly quiet!
The Brennofen wine bar is also a hotel. We had a double room, which was beautiful. Spacious and nicely furnished. The bed was great, as was the bathroom. We felt very comfortable. On our first evening, we had dinner in the wine bar. We opted for the very typical Palatinate dish: Fleeschkneep! It was delicious. The service and staff were very friendly. Always willing to listen and helpful. Oh yes, the breakfast was also excellent!
A very cute little German restaurant with a small beer garden. Very inconspicuous from the outside but you will be very surprised. This is highly recommended and once again a big compliment to the chef... we'll be happy to come back.👍👍👍
It was a perfect evening thanks to the great, attentive service and the impeccable food!
Absolutely reasonable value for money!
If the restaurant were larger and had a bit more space, more privacy from other guests would be possible.
The service was absolutely first-class and incorporated many "old-school" elements!
(That's what a seasoned, trained restaurateur says!)
Very friendly, very accommodating, more like a Michelin-starred restaurant. The waitresses are professionals, and the chef clearly and tangibly enjoys his job. The price reflects the effort and creativity.
Nice place, the food was tasty, but the staff didn't speak English. Prices for the Polish wallet are quite high. We didn't get a menu other than German, so we had to use the Internet and a translator and talk to the waitress in sign language.
This is truly a fantastic restaurant. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Highly recommended. The people were great and the atmosphere was lovely. We'll be back.
Very, very good German/Swabian cuisine, just wow, the service was very friendly, attentive and a top address that I would definitely recommend. Greetings from Frankfurt :)
