A real (East) German restaurant with real German food: spiced meat, brawn, smoked pork, solyanka, schnitzel and much more. Very good quality, large portions. However, the potato side dishes (coquettes, potato turnovers, etc.) are all ready-made products. It can take a while until the food is on the table. The interior is traditionally rustic. The service is friendly and in a good mood. The shady guest garden is cozy.

Great food, steak with spicy meat, exotic pan and farmer's breakfast, huge portion, delicious, cozy atmosphere on the farm, service great, always a saying, so a great evening, we'll be back.

The search for a restaurant with German cuisine in the Schorfheide took us to Grünling in Templin and it was an absolute hit. All dishes were freshly and deliciously prepared, we were served very friendly and overall the small restaurant exudes a cozy atmosphere. We'd love to come back.

Honestly, these are the restaurants whose names you remember. As vacationers, we only came to the restaurant through word of mouth from the locals. The food is great, praise to the chef, service and ambience, very pleasant, just like before. We recommend. Thanks so much.

We were passing through when we went to the small rustic restaurant. The service was a bit rude but funny. The food was very tasty for all of us, and we can also recommend the children's meals. In summary it was a nice visit

The restaurant was recommended to us and it was really great food! The service was very polite and you could watch the chef making the food from our table, which was very clean and unhurried, so it can only be a good meal! Everything was very plentiful and tasted great! What we really liked was that the waitress gave our grandson a self-made menu with 4 different dishes and he could color in the pictures of the food with colored pencils, so the wait for the food wasn't so boring! We've never seen this before! The food is great German cuisine, perfectly prepared! A recommended traditional restaurant! Keep it up! If we didn't live so far away we would love to visit you again!

We reserved a table at short notice. We actually had a table inside, but spontaneously got one outside upon request. Were received very warmly. Great service & great for kids to get something to paint with. Drinks & food came without a long wait. A very nice atmosphere. We felt very comfortable until the end and the price was great for 5 people. I can really recommend it to everyone.

We came up with the idea of ​​having something to eat in the evening after working all day on Saturday. After I looked on Google and on their homepage and saw that they were open until 11 p.m. and there were no restrictions regarding the kitchen, we spontaneously went there. We arrived at 8:50 p.m. and were thrown out again by a female waiter on the grounds that the kitchen closed at 9 p.m. and all the appliances were already turned off. When I pointed out that it was written on the Internet that the restaurant was open until 11 p.m., she replied succinctly that yes, she should tell the boss that he would change the homepage. After all, we would have been happy with a baked Camembert. But we went back to the hotel hungry. Thank you for nothing. Where is the customer service where you just say, sit down, I'll make you a little something. But apparently restaurants no longer need that these days.

Popped in spontaneously at lunchtime on weekdays, restaurant and courtyard were very busy, rustic atmosphere, service had a lot to do, but was always friendly, nice saying on the lips and tried hard, child was given something to paint to tide over, food was very tasty, reasonably priced. Performance is also good, highly recommended

Gastestätte Grünling is a really very authentic restaurant. The quality of the food, the service and the ambience were excellent and everything somehow came together perfectly. We'll be happy to come back the next time we're in the region!!

We ate at Grünling on Easter Sunday because of the many good reviews. Unfortunately the food was rather poorly prepared. My wife's steak was very tough, my rump steak didn't rest and immediately "bleed" when cut. Plus it wasn't salted. The green pepper sauce didn't taste good at all, the peppercorns were yellow. My wife's gingerale only tasted sweet, but not like gingerale. Boiled potatoes were sold out and the croquettes were of the cheapest kind. When asked if it tasted good and I answered "probably not", the only answer I received was "hmm hmm". No apology, but a dirty look, as if I must have made a mistake. The kitchen is open and you could see that many of the ingredients were not fresh. The hygiene when it comes to runny noses that you wipe with the back of your hand and then don't wash and serve is disgusting. I can't recommend the visit and don't understand the many good reviews.

A restaurant where you feel comfortable. The service staff was very attentive. Sanitary facilities and all guest rooms appeared very clean. The food tasted like grandma made, what more could you want.

After a visit to the thermal baths we were hungry and found this great place where you can eat very tasty food. It fully deserves 5 stars. Everything was right from the service to the food and the cozy atmosphere. Keep it up 👍👍👍

Glad to have found this cozy place! The fact that we only managed to get two seats speaks for the popularity of the restaurant. Despite the busyness, we immediately felt welcome and were kindly informed that it might take a while - but the kitchen and service were still quick. Most of the people around us were already eating and everything looked delicious. We also enjoyed it wonderfully. The waitress didn't show any signs of stress, and even though she was handling the service almost alone when the house was full, she was attentive and considerate and still had a cheerful saying on her lips for everyone. We are looking forward to the next trip to Templin, perhaps in the inner courtyard!? Absolutely recommended! :) Conclusion: Rustic atmosphere, well-rehearsed, friendly team, tasty dishes, good portions, affordable prices.

Das Essen war Lecker, die Preise für Essen und Getränke sind günstig im Vergleich zu anderen, ändert sich aber wahrscheinlich im nächsten Jahr. Ambiente urig aber altbacken. Die Herrentoilette war unbeheizt. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir waren als Familie mit 8 Personen dort, das Essen ist sehr gut. Aber der Service lässt zu wünschen übrig. Die Bedienung ist zwar freundlich, das ist aber auch alles, wir haben Sie nicht oft gesehen. Man musste zum Tresen um etwas nachzubestellen. Wir hätten gerne noch länger gesessen, aber man war an unserem Umsatz nicht interessiert.

Wir haben dort zu Abend gegessen, Reservierung ist hier angebracht. Es ist eine rustikale kleine Gaststätte, der Service ist freundlich und schnell. Das wichtigste das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt und der Preis war mehr als angemessen. Ich kann die Gaststätte mehr als weiterempfehlen.

Wir hatten ein Tisch bestellt. Mussten 1h auf das Essen warten, ohne Info aus der Küche. Die Portionen waren recht überschaubar, nicht wirklich zum satt essen. Preise ok. Die Bedienung war sehr zurückhaltend. Das Essen an sich ok, dem Preis entsprechend. Wir gehen nächstes Mal woanders hin.

Gute deutsche Hausmannskost. Freundlicher, schneller Service. Und man kann die Zubereitung beobachten, da es eine offene Küche gibt.

Die Gaststätte Grünling bietet deftige Hausmannskost - wer Sternenküche sucht, der ist hier sicherlich falsch (was aber nach meinem Eindruck für ganz Templin gilt). Wer mehr oder weniger futtern möchte wie bei Muttern zu Hause ist dagegen richtig. Natürlich ist deutsche Küche angesagt. Die Portionen sind o.k. und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Das kleine Restaurant hat ein einladendes Ambiente, eine ansprechend ausreichende Speisekarte und einen sehr flotten Service. Extrawünsche werden gern erfüllt und im kleinen Hof sitzt man, eingebettet im Grün, sehr schön. Über Geschmack lässt sich trefflich streiten, doch sicher ist es geschmackvoller und gesünder, wenn auf Fertigprodukte der Systemgastronomie verzichtet werden könnte. Ein selbstgemachtes, frisches Salatdressing würde nur wenige Cent teurer sein, aber den Salat die Krone geben😉

Man kann sehr lecker Essen und sitzt in einem schönen Biergarten.

3x waren wir hier in unserem Urlaub essen. Muss ich da noch mehr schreiben? :-) Ok. Eins vorweg. Die Speisekarte ist sehr fleischlastig. Genau mein Ding. Den Kindern hatte es das Würzfleisch angetan, da es ohne Pilze ist. Laut Bedienung ist ein Würzfleisch immer ohne Pilze - nun gut, ich kenne auch andere Varianten. Es gab bei den 3 Besuchen neben Würzfleisch auch Soljanka, Schnitzel, Kasslersteak, Hühnchen. Alles lecker und frisch zubereitet. Bedienung freundlich, schlagfertig und flott. Uriges Ambiente. Sehr zu empfehlen.
