The extensive renovation a few years ago created a great historical ensemble...good cuisine...nice ambience...we'd love to come back.

We were there for dinner. It was very tasty and we really enjoyed it. Will definitely come again. Can only be recommended. Really 10/10 points. Excellent cuisine and very nice staff. Keep it up

Very clean rooms. Friendly staff. Absolutely rural location and correspondingly quiet. If there are a lot of hotel and restaurant guests, parking spaces could become scarce. Breakfast wasn't really my thing. But in the truest sense of the word it is a matter of taste. No buffet. You are served a platter with ham, salami and cheese. Plus two small jars of jam. There were only rolls. A fruit juice drink made from various fruits. Probably freshly pressed and very tasty! Egg dishes as desired.

So yes..many are right with your reviews. But a few comments should be allowed. I stayed there overnight...everything was great...everything was clean...stairs a bit narrow but ok. So, now the things that weren't such a hit. The food: Ordered shrimp in a garlic sauce...that still worked. The bread with it (why does the kitchen give out something like that... I can't understand) Dry, hard, the boss didn't want to accept the complaint at first. This was the starter: But it gets even better. The rump steak is amazing...why would you give something like that out? Hard dry not suitable for chewing...bad. Left half on the plate. No question from the employees why? We're not talking about a low price. The white wine was good...that should also be mentioned. Let's get to breakfast: Wooden board, two cheap slices of cold cuts (Aldi or Lidl) What the salt was supposed to do...I don't know. Conclusion: Hotel just great The courtyard is great The staff great The kitchen should work on ITSELF.

A magical café...restaurant...such friendly service is no longer a given today. Coffee and cake were very tasty...we would love to come back and try the delicious cuisine....

Consistently good service and very good, freshly prepared cuisine for years. It's becoming increasingly rare to find service this good here in Germany: fast, friendly, accurate, professional. Maybe it's because the restaurant management is always there and sets a good example.

A really excellent breakfast and great service

We had dinner there with a group. The restaurant looks great and everything is clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, something went wrong when ordering the drinks and the wrong drinks arrived, which we accepted anyway. The starters were very good, especially the bacon-wrapped plums. However, there is still some room for improvement when it comes to the main courses. Especially for the vegetarians, who can only order pasta in addition to a curry, the portion size was far too small and the price was far too high. In general, I have the feeling that the price-performance ratio for the main courses is not ideal. The dishes are too expensive for the amount you get. It would be nice if it was more or the price was lower. In addition, the same dishes did not have the same quantity for different people. We pointed this out to the staff and more was provided as a gesture of goodwill, which speaks for very good service. Everything was also very good in terms of taste.

Hotel with breakfast service in a small town near Bassum

We visited the restaurant here and were thrilled. Great ambience in a rustic country house style, but still a touch of elegance. Friendly staff and good service. We had asparagus in season, once with salmon and once with farmer's ham, with potatoes and hollandaise sauce. The food was without a doubt, great, well crafted, great regional quality and beautifully presented. We'd love to come back!

I've been here several times and it always tasted good and the service staff were also very friendly. If you are looking for the country, I will like it very much. The location itself at the Mühlenteich is very nice. During all my visits without exception, no matter who it was, the service staff were always very friendly and competent.

We were there for coffee. Very tasty cake. Unfortunately the cake we ordered was not brought to the table. But this one was also delicious. The service could try to be more attentive. It can't be that you only get an ice cream after 15 minutes and seriously when you ask again. There should also be a reserved table available and not the guests being moved around.

The food was delicious, really different. We did not spend the night there.

We were, once again, passing through to the north and were happy to turn around to visit this hotel. The service was again top. Friendly, empathetic staff. Price-performance ratio more than okay. The room was nice and very quiet despite the wedding celebration in the house. Breakfast as always was sufficient and very tasty, I especially love the homemade orange jam :). Thank you for everything. I'll be happy to do it again when I get the chance and I'll keep my fingers crossed that your plans for the front building can be implemented quickly. (There must still be good, hard-working staff somewhere!)

Good atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food.

We didn't use the hotel or the restaurant here, but we saw the outside area, which is very well maintained. The house is romantically located on the water. For us it was the starting point for the hike on the “Scheunenweg”, approx. 5.3 km through wonderful, lonely nature with the chirping of birds.

The menu should be corrected... Country breakfast is called spreads and jams... there was only one of each and the orange marmalade wasn't to everyone's taste... selection would have been great. The platter of cheese with 2 rotten grapes and very bad-tasting mozzarella that we ordered was rated as "bad" by 4 people - the cherry on top. After speaking to the service person, only one came and well... it's a shame they knew breakfast there differently.

I was pleasantly surprised, the rooms are really very small, but VERY clean and everything you need is there.

Went there for the first time today after a recommendation. All I can say is, super super nice, really great restaurant, very nice café, great ambience. The breakfast was prepared with love, the table was very lovingly set. Very nice staff. I would always like to go there again. Only recommended.

Unfortunately, the cakes are of a lower standard and are not worthy of such an ambience and the associated price level. I can't say anything about the hotel itself because we only came to the café.

We had dinner with our family on Christmas Day. At the beginning we had to wait about 15-20 minutes (outside in the cold!). The goose leg was catastrophic, the porcini mushroom soup was super tasty. The dessert was just ok. Unfortunately, that was a tragedy and we won't be going there anymore.

Das Gebäude ist sehr schön und mit viel Liebe zum Detail wiederhergestellt, außen und innen. Waren zum Abendessen dort, sehr angenehmes Ambiente, freundliches und zuvorkommendes, aber nicht aufdringliches Servicepersonal. Das Essen sehr lecker und ansprechend angerichtet, wir wurden ausreichend satt und die Preise sind moderat. Der Espresso war nicht nach meinem Geschmack, aber da bin ich auch sehr empfindlich, deswegen möchte ich keinen Sterneabzug geben. Haben für Freunde gleich einen Gutschein für einen Geburtstag mitgenommen. Freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch!

Wir waren nicht zum ersten und sicher nicht zum letzten Mal hier! Sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Sehr gut ausgebildetes Personal in ausreichender Anzahl im Gastraum. Zu keiner Zeit aufdringlich. Sehr schöner Gastraum in dem wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt haben. Feine Karte aus der wir sofort etliches hätten bestellen wollen, dazu noch Empfehlungen des Tages. Das Essen war sensationell lecker und die Wartezeit war angemessen. Vielen lieben Dank

Wunderschön renoviert und auch die Räumlichkeiten zum Essen sind sehr schön geworden. Die Auswahl und die Qualität des Essens hatte ich mir dementsprechend noch besser vorgestellt. Aber solide 4 Sterne!

Tolles Restaurant, schöne Atmosphäre und leckeres Essen!

Wir waren zum Essen im Restaurant und ich muss sagen, das Essen war hervorragend! So gut habe ich lange nicht mehr gegessen! Preise sind absolut in Ordnung, der Service ist sehr gut! Super freundliche Bedienung und lange warten mussten wir auch nicht, obwohl alles frisch gemacht wurde. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir waren dort essen, das Ambiente ist schön! Leider wurden die Vorspeisen vergessen, das wurde aber schnell korrigiert. Das Hauptgericht war bei mir leider so versalzen, dass ich es nicht aufessen konnte... Leider hatten Wir auch nicht genug Zeit, um es nochmal in die Küche gehen zu lassen.Aber immerhin hat man es mir angeboten! Die Kroketten kriege ich zuhause als Tiefkühlkroketten besser hin! Der Salat & die Salatsoße war dafür recht fade. Bei meinem Vater kam dann das Hauptgericht letztendlich lauwarm auf den Tisch. Es war ein recht schöner Abend, das lag aber am Wetter. Schade!

Na een lange reis op de motor 🛵 hadden we deze tussen stop voor een goede nachtrust wel verdiend. En dan ook nog op de rust gevende plek. We hebben ook dan over heerlijk gedineerd de kok is in mijn ogen en smaak pupillen dan ook een Meester in wat hij doet. Na het avondeten hebben wij ook heerlijk nagetafeld met een borrel. We mochten net als alle andere gasten ook blijven zitten na 21u 👍🏻😋 En na de borrel zijn we naar bed gegaan. Rond 8u werden we weer wakker dus zijn we naar het ontbijt gegaan. Wat we daar op tafel kregen was ook weer voortreffelijk 👌🏻😋 Wat hebben wij genoten bedankt Zum Mühlenteich🥰

Modern,bei der Speisekarte findet jeder etwas.Nettes Personal.Einen Manko gab es keinen Cremant nur Prosecco der fürchterlich war.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit Sitzplätzen auf dem Hof und einer Terrasse direkt am Teich. Wir haben nur einen Cappuccino getrunken aber man wurde sehr nett und aufmerksam bedient.

Das Restaurant ist sehr freundlich und sehr chic, einladend, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen war nicht nur sehr schön angerichtet, es war auch qualitativ und sehr lecker 😋 Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen! Preisleistung in Ordnung.

Wunderschön, aber mit kleinen Kindern gänzlich ungeeignet. Die Umgebung ist nicht abgesichert. Viele Gefahrenstellen. Leider gibt es nirgendwo einen Hinweis auf die Öffnungszeiten der Mühle, sollte sie überhaupt öffentlich zugänglich sein 🤷 Über das Essen usw. kann ich keine Bewertung abgeben, da wir nicht bleiben konnten

Super leckeres Essen in sehr idyllischer Lage

Wir waren hier schon häufig essen und wurden jedesmal freundlich bedient. Das Essen ist IMMER sehr lecker. Nun war es soweit und wir durften unsere Hochzeit beim Mühlenteich feiern und was sollen wir anderes sagen, außer dass dies alle Erwartungen übertroffen hat. Super freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Zeitmanagement, überragendes Essen und sehr leckere Getränke. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam. Es wurde alles möglich gemacht um diesen Tag perfekt für uns zu gestalten. Einfach Danke!
