Jungbluth in Berlin

It is well known that anyone who constantly describes their sense of taste as “tasty” has either lost control of their taste or has none at all. After my visit to Jungbluth with friends, I had no other choice this time: it tasted extremely delicious! It was beyond the scope to appreciate every single enjoyment of the three-course menu here. The kitchen team has, among other things, succeeded excellently in teasing out the flavor that characterizes each ingredient, which you are always looking for and rarely find. And serving sea bass and steak so perfectly is an art in itself. Everything applied and presented by a naturally friendly and competent service team at an acceptable price. Good vibes at all. Chapeau Jungbluth!

There is a pleasantly informal atmosphere here. The dishes are colorful and surprising in their taste combination. My daughter-in-law is thrilled: In my entire life, my parents have never invited me to such a great restaurant.

Definitely great service, dishes (meat/fish) definitely too small for the prices quoted, value for money is not right here, there are better addresses in Berlin. Background noise is extremely loud when the restaurant is full!

Is recommended - but since I also pay attention to the price-performance ratio, it is simply too expensive for me. Otherwise simply and nicely furnished, very friendly staff. Had the surprise menu. At the beginning, two types of bread with a few dips were served. Neither the bread nor the dips were particularly convincing (not bad by any means, but not abnormally awesome either). The 3 courses were good. The wine with it was by far the best, really very good!

Delicious food and quick and attentive service gave us a great evening. We sat in the old kitchen, a small separate room. So the 6 of us were able to have a great chat. Many thanks to the whole team. Keep it up!

We had a lovely experience on a Thursday evening. Outstanding food but an unpretentious environment - great! We enjoyed the wine but forgot to note the name of the vineyard. I wrote an email the next day to ask what it was, and the chef himself wrote back and sent the detailed information! Great thought and care here.

The Jungbluth impresses in every respect: the friendly and courteous service, the creative and exciting menu with very acceptable prices, the cozy and pleasant ambience inside and outside, but above all the dishes themselves are a wonderful culinary delight per se, which we will not soon forget and which has put a blissfully satisfied grin on our faces. Our icing on the cake was the elegant, extravagant interpretation of Black Forest cake for dessert - simply wow! We'll be back, that's for sure!

An unforgettable culinary experience! I chose the surprise menu and was thrilled. Very sophisticated, high-quality dishes prepared with love. The combinations of ingredients were harmonious and yet incredibly exciting. Visually presented so beautifully that I had to look at the dishes before enjoying them. The price-performance ratio is more than reasonable. The service was friendly, attentive and quick. The ambience is relaxed and stylish. I felt very comfortable and am looking forward to the next time.

I haven't eaten so well in a long time! We had the 3 course meal (Jungbluth's choice) and sat outside in the lovely outdoor area. Two young but very motivated, committed and good-looking waiters sweetened our evening. The portions were just right, but I think maybe a little too small for tall men 😄 we'll definitely be back 👍🏼

I invited a good friend for his birthday and had a very, very nice evening. The service was great, very attentive and accommodating. Now to the food, we had the menu and our own selection from the menu. Every course and every dish was wonderful and special. We were very impressed and satisfied.

We also had the 4-course surprise menu and I agree with Kuschke on everything. Only our visit day was different. With this menu you can confidently place yourself in the carefully choosing hands of the house. Great food, great wines. I would immediately subscribe to the Sauvignon Blanc for the rest of my life - and beyond. And then the sea bream... Super aromatic! And under? When I say rice now, it's a complete understatement. Go and try it out!

We were here on June 25th, 2024 to try the 4-course surprise menu with wine accompaniment and water and coffee. We were thrilled. Starting from the service (Elliot), the food and the wonderfully selected wines for each course. Should not be missed. We'll be back soon.

We ate very well, every course tasted great. The dishes were beautifully presented - as we all know, the eye eats well… good selection of wine. The service was attentive and we felt really comfortable. Gladly again and again, unfortunately only occasionally as I don't live in Berlin

We had a wonderful evening with exquisite food and excellent wine. It was so nice that I will be celebrating my big birthday with a larger group at Jungbluth. The enjoyable taste of wine and food was just the start of the big birthday on Sunday: The Jungbluth is the perfect restaurant if you want to celebrate carefree. There were 24 of us who spent enjoyable hours on the terrace with the hedge facing Lepsiusstrasse. The four-course menu with choices was delicious. The cuisine has proven its high quality to delight all guests, even weak eaters. The service was professional/experienced and at the same time charming, funny and attentive. It was a wonderful evening and I thank the team from the bottom of my heart. This celebration will last for a long time.

We had a company dinner last night with our customers, the food and service was excellent, our guests were very impressed, thank you for this wonderful evening!

I’m Going to tell you a story… in fact six stories. Meals happen every day. But an experience remains. We just had the most memorable meal of a life time. The last time my taste buds were tantalized like this, was in Venice when I was 12 years old and I enjoyed my first REAL dining experience. It began with a greeting from the kitchen consisting of an onion panna cotta. Now don’t ask me how you make onion panna cotta but it was glorious. The true essence of the onion was clear yet delicate. And the texture was mouth watering. Following this we had a smooth paprika soup. The Smokey taste of the paprika was combined excellently with the velvety soup. Next up was a crunchy fried piece of pig belly that made my mouth water. Combine with the Soya sesame reduction, I was immediately transported to cloud 9. As if things weren’t already good enough, we were then greeted by a piece of salmon with peas and asparagus. The fish melted in my mouth as it should, and the asparagus was cooked to perfection. The main course consisted of a piece of lamb back, with spinach, and potato gratin. The lamb could be cut like butter and was seasoned to perfection. The gratin was warm and soft on the inside, with a delicate crunch on the outside. By this point we were stuffed, but were greeted by the finale: a finely curated cheeseboard, along with a chocolate mousse with hard exeterior and hazelnut ice cream. They were the proverbial cherry on the cake. During our dining experience, we drank the accompaniment of wines that the team paired superbly with each course. I cannot speak highly enough of what Andre and his team are doing at Jungbluth. It is the epitome of fine dining, and they find the perfect balance between experimentation and traditional tastes: harmonious like a choir. Thank you!

Were for the first but definitely not the last time. The dishes are very tasty, everything was right - juiciness, crunchiness, bitterness, umami and a certain something else. Not an exaggerated price-performance ratio. Thank you very much!

A journey through the excellent world of taste at Jungbluth is always worth it! We had a completely perfect evening for two with the best food and great staff.

The food at Jungbluth is very fine: one component of each course was salty, sweet or sour, so that great flavor combinations developed in the mouth. The highlight was the perfectly cooked lamb. Unfortunately, the portions were far too small and, with three courses together, were just a little more than a starter. I also think that part of a perfect evening of fine dining is that you don't get up hungry after three courses. I think a few more side dishes on the plates would be a good idea. So I would only recommend the Jungbluth to a limited extent.

Wonderful! Do you know how you carefully order something in a restaurant that you probably like - and then you're disappointed? Here it's the other way around: don't worry, order anything, let yourself be surprised - it will be delicious! Otherwise you don't like...? Here already! This restaurant is really something special!

There were four of us at Jungbluth and we all chose the 4-course “surprise menu” with wine accompaniment, sometimes with fish, sometimes with meat as the main course. We were all absolutely thrilled with the taste, composition and appearance of the food and wine. I would also like to say a big thank you to the absolutely friendly and attentive service team and send many gourmet greetings to the kitchen. Keep it up!!! It was a very successful evening.

Unfortunately that was nothing. Somehow our meal was not a good one. We came on a recommendation - and left without being able to give one ourselves. If you want to cook so ambitiously and as a chef you trust yourself to bring the ingredients and components to the plate so perfectly that you don't respond to guests' requests (the request if you can have a dish without wild garlic pesto, because you have wild garlic didn't like it, the answer was: "the kitchen doesn't like it when the guests change something about the side dishes - they're already coordinated with each other the way they should be"), it's just stupid if you only wait after the one you've given up Order comes back and has to admit: "Unfortunately, for your three plates of eagle fish, we would have to change the eagle fish to sturgeon, we don't have any left". Not only does the kitchen have to be expected to know by/at 6 p.m. whether it has enough main ingredients for one of the 2 fish dishes (and a total of 5 main dishes) on the menu. It's even stupider that the "perfect coordination" of all the ingredients doesn't mean that the wild garlic pesto can be left out - but it does allow for the replacement of the rather mild-tasting eaglefish with a very strong (unfortunately also fishy-smelling) sturgeon. Probably because of the kitchen and not the guest No matter - if the food had really been perfectly coordinated, I wouldn't have complained about this pretentious way of dealing with guests. But unfortunately the dishes were over-decorated and complex, without being particularly sophisticated or tasty it's somehow "two different things". But if the two things are limited to bringing an ingredient to the plate in two slightly different puree forms (as happened with the dessert with the sour cherry additions) or, as with the amuse gueule, a tasteless carrot puree and an equally tasteless slivered (supposedly roasted) Carrot slice, then two things quickly become one. Two kinds of spinach (once over-salted, once not) and a saffron risotto that was so "al dente" that you bit into half-cooked rice grains that were dry on the inside... All of that can happen. But it's just stupid when it happens with one with a very self-confident attitude that doesn't show that you're really interested in the guests' wishes - but rather in your own self-realization. Did we eat it up: yes (we were really hungry and the portions were - at prices just under 40 EUR). the main courses - rather small; if you didn't want to leave hungry, you had to eat it all - just not really good). As here, when I was asked at the end of the meal how it was, we remained silent. Firstly, because at the end we weren't even asked anything in the way that made it clear that a real answer wasn't wanted ( except: yes, everything is great). This whole atmosphere had already arisen when we asked for a blanket to protect us from the evening chill shortly after taking a seat on the terrace. We got them - but everything always seemed slightly passive aggressive: we didn't really feel welcome, and there was no incentive to get involved in detailed feedback. May it be an incentive to work on it.

The menu at Jungbluth is uncomplicated and speaks to thoughtful, confident decisions. Creative choices by the chef; flavorful memorable meal. Fully attentive yet discreet service. Peaceful outdoor seating, lovely on a spring evening.

The food was wonderful as always. Service has a few weak points. Waited a long time for the second glass of wine and the soup from the menu was forgotten. I assume this won't happen again.

Sehr gutes Essen - der Service war eine Katastrophe: unaufmerksam, inkompetent, mangelnde Kenntnis der Speisen, keine Serviceorentierung, Rechnung sollten wir halbieren oder selber aufteilen. Man hatte das Gefühl jeder Wunsch, ob ein Bier oder eine separate Rechnung eine Zumutung und Belastung für den Kellner war.

Wir waren äußerst positiv von dem Essen überrascht, auch der Service und die Location waren sehr angenehm. Das Essen hat in allen 3-Gängen einfach fusioniert-ein Gang ist in den nächsten perfekt übergegangen und sowohl optisch als auch geschmacklich eine glatte 10! Wir kommen sehr gern wieder…

Great fine dining in a neighborhood atmosphere. Compact, ambitious map with a fairly local feel. Outstanding service. Only recommended to a limited extent for vegetarians (at least according to what the menu offered today (main courses 2x meat and 2x fish).

My husband and I were in Jungbluth for the first time and felt very well looked after here. The team is warm and accommodating, even with special requests. We had the 3-course Easter menu, where we were impressed and enjoyed every course in its composition. We will definitely come back and would happily recommend the Jungbluth!

The 1st and 2nd courses were my highlight. 🥰 We've been to star restaurants several times and the Jungbluth definitely doesn't have to hide here even without a star. We came here because of a gift voucher and are absolutely thrilled! We had the 3-course surprise menu in the vegetarian version and it was incredibly delicious. All the carefully selected ingredients, tailored to the different flavors, simply resulted in an excellent overall composition. We thoroughly enjoyed the menu and finally ordered another dessert and the cheese platter because we just couldn't get enough of the incredibly good food. The service was also extremely friendly, very accommodating and, above all, very attentive. We can only recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back!

Food excellent...service not! With the 4-course menu with wine accompaniment, the wine came with the course or after the course or not at all. The young waiter seemed a bit overwhelmed. But the food is great...no matter what you eat 5 stars. Oh yes, one more thing, maybe include fruit brandies from Prinz, for example.

For this restaurant to be so popular, it wasn't what I imagined. The food was ok. I've eaten much, much better. I had ox cheeks, which were good but the puree and other side dishes were undefinable. Fine dining looks different. The service was great and so was the ambience.

We had high expectations from a previous visit, but they were far exceeded!! We had 4 course surprise menus with meat, fish and vegetarian, accompanied by wine and water/coffee here in the house called the “Jungbluthabend”. Everything presented perfectly and accompanied by exciting wines. Plus, downright loving service. The price-performance ratio is sensationally good! Thank you for the great evening, we definitely have to come back to Berlin to eat at Jungbluth!!

A very, very special restaurant, where serious attention is paid to the guest. We had chosen a surprise menu and only had to say whether it was meat, fish, vegan or vegetarian. There were actually 4 courses, but there were 7 with the many greetings from the kitchen🤣 It is a gourmet restaurant and if you want to experience a special evening that will remain in your memory, this is the right place for you.

We had a reservation (via The Fork). When we arrived (on time) at 7:30 p.m., the waitress told us "Yes, we have a problem, the table isn't ready yet". We looked around, but all the tables in the restaurant were occupied. So we asked, “Which table?” and she said "Back in the old kitchen." We've been going to this restaurant for ten years and really appreciate the food, but sitting alone as the only guests in the secluded "Alte Küche" room, at a table that wasn't even set, seemed like a strange suggestion to us. Instead of apologizing for not honoring the reservation, the young lady said "some guests really like going to this room". Well, first of all, goodbye Jungbluth.

Essen von sehr guter Qualität, aber viel Getue um reichlich "nouvelle cuisine" schischi bei dem man mit sehr überschaubaren Portionen , dann zuhause gerne noch ein Sandwich essen möchte. Gebremst rustikales und eigentlich recht angenehmes deutsches Gasthaus-Ambiente passt aber nicht zum so auch formulierten hohen kulinarischen Anspruch einer Spitzenküche.

Natürlich nicht günstig, aber exzellentes Essen mit klasse Service. Die Karte wechselt alle paar Wochen und es wird sehr aus saisonale Lebensmittel geachtet!

Wir sind jetzt zum vierten Mal bei Jungbluth essen gewesen und jedes Mal begeistert. Es ist nicht nur eine Gaumenfreude, sondern auch eine Augenweide. Wie ein Kunstwerke angerichtete Teller mit viel Liebe zum Detail spiegeln sich auch im Geschmack wieder, angefangen bei der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert. Der Service ist sehr nett und aufmerksam, und das Ambiente ist ungezwungen und sehr gemütlich. Vielen lieben Dank. Bereits jetzt freuen wir uns auf den nächsten Besuch!

Nach wie vor ein Geheimtipp in Berlin. Haute Cuisine, erstklassige Qualität, liebevoll zubereitet. Für € 51 ist das 3-Gang-Überraschungs-Menu geradezu ein Schnäppchen. Man kann zwischen Fisch, Fleisch und vegetarisch wählen, was dann serviert wird entscheidet der Koch. Einen Punkt Abzug für den Service. Offensichtlich leidet das Jungbluth wie viele andere an Personalmangel. Der Kellner war ausgezeichnet, aber für die Anzahl der Besucher war es ein Kellner zu wenig.

Haben 2 mal das Jungbluth Menü gegessen, sehr aufmerksamer Service. Gut abgestimmte Gerichte. Preis-/Leistung stimmt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wohl jeder hat wohl „sein“ Lieblingstestaurant. Dieses ist seit sechs Jahren unseres für besondere Anlässe. Das Personal ist von einer solch ausgesuchten Freundlichkeit und Fröhlichkeit, dass wir nie enttäuscht worden sind von Fachwissen und Ansprache. Alle haben immer gute Laune. Respekt dafür! Und das Essen? Es war bisher immer ausgezeichnet. Immer.

Was ein Abend! Hervorragendes Mehrgangmenü mit passenden, auserlesenen Weinen. Lockerer Profi-Service mit ausgezeichneter Gastro-Rhetorik. Einfache aber warme Atmosphäre im Gastraum. Speisen geschmacklich eine Rundreise. Spitzenzubereitung beim Iberico-Schwein und das beste Dessert der Stadt! Gesättigt und angetrunken. Vielen Dank.

Das Jungblut ist ok, ich hatte mir allerdings etwas mehr versprochen. Das Essen war gut, aber nicht überragend, der Service war leider nicht immer aufmerksam, und wenn für meinen Geschmack zu viel Brimborium. Die Ausstattung ist angemessen!

Essen war Preis-Leistungstechnisch sehr gut, mit tollen Kreationen und Geschmackskomponenten, aber wenn man nach dem Bezahlen der Rechnung nur ein "Danke" bekommt, der Kellner schnell verschwindet und keinen Wunsch für einen schönen Abend oder einen guten Rutsch übrig hat und auch zwischendurch eher "kalt" gefragt wird, wie es denn sei, ist bei dem Service für diese Art von Lokal auf jeden Fall noch Luft nach oben.

Unser erste Besuch heute zum Weihnachtsmenue wird mit Sicherheit nicht der letzte Besuch gewesen sein. Das Weihnachtsmenue war fantastisch, insbesondere der Zwischengang und die Nachspreise aber auch die Suppe und der Hauptgang waren super.

Made an online reservation which was accepted and I was on the Taxi going there when I noticed I had an email saying my reservation was cancelled. No phone call no explanation. I ended up taking the Uber all the way there as this was already paid for. From the outside the place looks lovely. It also didn't look full. I can't comment on it. But I think a phone call would not have been to difficult to manage. disappointng

Mein Erlebnis zum vegetarischen Menü: überraschend Einfallslos. Ich hätte für 46€ ein etwas raffinierteres Essen als einen Salat, ein Perlgraupenrisotto mit zufälligem Gemüse und einem eher langweiligen Dessert erwartet. Der Service war sehr Freundlich und das Ambiente ist gelungen und stimmungsvoll, aber umgehauen hat es mich nicht.

Wir hatten eine tolle Weihnachtsfeier mit hervorragendem Essen, tollem Ambiente und sehr freundlichem Personal. Es war ein rundum gelungener Abend! Vielen Dank!

Eigentlich essen wir sehr gerne ab und zu im Jungbluth. Haben es auch immer gerne Freunden empfohlen die es nicht kannten. Leider wurden wir heute ziemlich enttäuscht … Wir waren zu acht dort und die Vorgabe des Restaurants war, dass dann nur ein Überraschungsmenü möglich ist. Kann man bei der kleinen Karte machen, dann muss man aber wirklich überrascht werden und alles muss echt gut sein … Zwei Personen durften das Gänsemenü nehmen, die Portionen waren Prima, und geschmacklich war es auch gut. Die anderen sechs durften nicht auswählen und hier wirkte es eher (sorry), wie ein Sparmenü. Die Suppe als Vorspeise war geschmacklich gut, aber sehr dünn, die Belugalinsen konnte man zählen. Bei der Hauptspeise, vier hatten Fleisch, wurde aufgeschnitten was noch da war … Der erste von uns bekam noch richtige Stücke, dann wurden sie auf den folgenden Tellern immer kleiner und der letzte hatte dann vier kleine Endzipfel … Die Nachspeise konnte keinen Preis mehr gewinnen, weil die beiden Gänge vorher nichts waren. Wir sind keine Menschen, die übervolle Teller und riesige Portionen mögen, aber wir sind heute eher mit Hunger nachhause gegangen. Es wäre vielleicht hilfreich gewesen, für Manche die Möglichkeit eines Viergangmenüs anzubieten, dann hätte ich meinen Söhnen zuhause nicht noch essen machen müssen … Wobei wir bisher mit einem Dreigangmenü im Jungbluth immer sehr zufrieden waren. Keine Ahnung was das heute war, aber ich denke es wird lange dauern bis wir wiederkommen, dafür gibt es in Berlin einfach zu viele Möglichkeiten, schade …

Mich hat das Niveau der Teller positiv überrascht. Geschmacklich alles sehr rund und die Portionsgröße für den Preis mehr als angemessen. Der Service sehr freundlich, wenn auch nicht perfekt

Sehr zu empfehlen. Obwohl wir zwei Stunden vor der reservierten Zeit ankamen bekamen wir einen Platz und wurden sehr kompetent, freundlich und aufmerksam bedient. Einmal mussten wir zwischen den Gängen etwas warten, wurden aber freundlich informiert, dass wir nicht vergessen wurden und es bald weiter geht. Eine Servicekraft konnte nicht immer das servierte Gericht beschreiben, machte dies aber durch freundliche Entschuldigung und sympathisches Auftreten mehr als wett. Die Weinempfehlung und das Essen waren sehr lecker und fein abgeschmeckt (der Lammbraten war etwas zu fettig). Preis Leistung ist angemessen. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend und kommen, wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind, sehr gerne wieder.

Ich bin sehr enttäuscht von dem Umgang mit Kunden in diesem Restaurant, da Einzelreservierungen hier leider keinen Wert zu scheinen haben. Für meinen 30 Geburtstag habe ich bei Jungbluth einen Tisch reserviert. Dies habe ich bereits im September getan, da mein Geburtstag auf das erste Adventwochenende fällt und ich nicht das Risiko eingehen wollte, kurzfristig keinen Tisch zu bekommen. Einige Wochen später erhielt ich eine Stornierungsinfo ohne jegliche Begründung. Auf Anfrage erhielt ich die Info, dass es wohl eine größere Reservierung gäbe (private Veranstaltung) und sie meine Reservierung deshalb leider stornieren müssen. Meine Alternativen waren zu dem Zeitpunkt alle voll ausgebucht (wie bereits befürchtet, da Adventwochenende). Wirtschaftlichkeit hin oder her, so geht man meines Erachtens nach nicht mit Kunden um. Auf meine letzte Nachricht bekam ich nicht mal mehr eine Antwort... Das Essen kann ich nicht beurteilen, empfehle aber allen, die ein besonderes Event geplant und keine 100 Alternativen haben, lieber woanders hinzugehen. Reservierungen werden hier leider nicht ernst genommen.

Hervorragendes Restaurant, wir hatten Martinsgans, war sehr gut, es gab sogar Nachschlag. Guter Service und Preise, die für dieses Niveau sogar günstig sind.

Ich wähle ja gern mal Außenseiter aus und meistens habe ich Glück. So auch hier. Das Restaurant ist innen eher unspektaktulär aber das Essen überzeugt. Dem Gruß aus der Küche folgte ein leckeres Zwiebelbrot mit verschiedenen Aufstrichen. Dann gab es Seeteufel mit Spinat und anschließend Joghurtmousse mit Beeren. Sooooo lecker. Weinauswahl auch sehr zufriedenstellend. Muss man unbedingt mal ausprobieren

Großartiger Ort für ein cooles & leckeres Dinner Wir waren zu unserem Betriebsausflug zu 6. Im Jungbluth und hatten viel Spaß. Guter Vibe des Service, super Überraschungsmenüs und nette Weinauswahl. Hat uns wirklich sehr sehr gut gefallen und sollte es uns mal wieder nach Berlin treiben, kommen wir hier auf jeden Fall wieder vorbei! Danke für den tollen Abend!

Sehr leckeres Essen und sehr freundliches Personal

Great The food was excellent however our evening was ruined due to the attitude of the head waitor. We ordered the 3 course menu however wanted to choose our dessert at the end. The original waitor, very friendly the way, unfortunately did not mention to us that our choices were not included within the 3 course deal. Unfortunate, albeit just an error. Upon receiving our bill and pointing out that we had the 3 course deal, the head waitor was patronising, rude and very unprofessional. This was a mistake / misunderstanding on the part of the restaurant. Rather than coming to us, apologising for the error and rectifying, he was rather aggressive and proceeded to make it out as our error for not asking. It is a real shame given the quality of the food however we would certainly not recommend to anyone.
