The food was excellent as always!! I have to give the service a few deductions this time. Apparently, we had a newer employee who brought us water bottles but didn't pour them, didn't pour us the red wine for us to taste, and then closed the door again. Hence only the three stars. But we will definitely come back if we're in Berlin.

My son and I had a great evening with a 4-course menu and wine accompaniment. Very tasty, intense aromas were conjured up in the kitchen. The service was super nice, careful, attentive and present. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. We will come back. P. S. When we went home we discovered that through a large window we had a rare view of the small, manageable kitchen from the street and terrace. An interesting icing on the cake. It's nice that you're here in the south of Berlin. ❤️

I went to this restaurant for the first time with my girlfriend as it was highly praised in all the restaurant guides. Unfortunately, the quality of the food as well as the ambience and service were poor. My monkfish was dry and I could buy and arrange the dessert cheese myself in a cheap supermarket, I don't need a star restaurant for that. My friend said her sauce and the chef's thank you tasted like ready-made food. I also asked for my glass of wine to be refilled, but the waitress forgot it. I then tried again after dinner. Then came the wine. But for 12 euros per glass I expect more attention. The dirty, empty plates also sat at the table for half an hour, which is rather unusual for a restaurant in this price range. I'm very sorry, but unfortunately I can only speak from my own experience. We were very disappointed. It was expensive and not good. I'm not a bot, I'm a human, my girlfriend too, we really went to this restaurant. Neither the food tasted good nor was the service attentive. And it was enormously and unjustifiably expensive! The owner's response clearly indicates that it is not a good recommendation because they do not want to deal with their mistakes. Apparently there are enough customers, so this review won't hurt either. Well then! Anyone who has money will also come here. For us it was a special occasion that went really wrong.

The two of us were at Jungbluth for a special occasion (birthday) and had a 4-course menu (surprise/best choice, one with fish and one with meat) and were very enthusiastic. Even if you don't drink wine, you will receive very friendly advice and very attentive service here. Very special selection of dishes and different ways of preparing the individual components with really surprising taste experiences. A very good price-performance ratio for this exclusive kitchen. The only point of criticism is the somewhat cool guest room. However, we were sitting right by the window when the snowstorm started outside.

We were able to enjoy a delicious 4-course menu with wine accompaniment. As guests, we determined the time for the next course by emptying our wine glasses. So we had a lot of time. Very tasty selection and the right wines. A very good price-performance ratio for this exclusive kitchen. Small downside, I found it a bit too cool in the room, perhaps because we were sitting right next to the window.

The food was outstanding! We had an evening for two and each had the 4-course menu with wine accompaniment. I knew what good cuisine I could expect, but the wines were also excellent. I was only able to afford the evening with a voucher, but if you're looking for something really special for a special occasion, you can only recommend Jungbluth.

Yet, while the service and food quality impress, the overall ambiance could benefit from a bit more polish. The interior, though evocative of past charm, now appears somewhat dated, and on our visit, a lapse in cleanliness was noticeable when leftover food was found on the floor beneath our table. In sum, Jungbluth offers an exceptional lunch for those in search of fine dining during the day. With some refinements in both menu variety and attention to the dining environment, this promising venue has the potential to elevate its overall appeal even further.

Highly recommendable! Outstanding food, freshly cooked, creative but approachable, incredibly tasty. Very friendly service. Nice and casual atmosphere. Could even cater to complicated food intolerance requirements within our group in a way we've never encountered elsewhere. And even had a Philips air purifier on top of the wardrobe in one of the dining rooms for those interested in air quality (can't say if it was running, though). Overall a very lovely experience. Will definitely go back.

We ate a four-course meal including wine accompaniment. It was a dinner for two. The food was exceptional and the wine pairing was great. We were also able to have some influence if you don't like strong wines or certain dessert wines. The prices are extremely high, but this is a very classy restaurant that you should definitely only eat at very rarely on special occasions. We knew the prices in advance from the homepage. We would love to come back for a wedding anniversary or something similar.

Refreshing team that not only puts their heart and soul into it. Small, fine menu. We were presented with a feast for the eyes and the palate. Extra requests are fulfilled immediately. Stylish ambience. We felt very well looked after in this wonderful restaurant.

We were at Jungbluth for the fourth time and had the four-course menu with wine accompaniment for the fourth time. It was once again excellent. The food is prepared with a lot of love and the different components are perfectly coordinated. You can always rely on the wine recommendations for the courses. The wines are very tasty and go well with the respective courses. The team is friendly and attentive without being too present, so that you can chat in peace and enjoy the time. It is also very pleasant that you can determine the pace of the courses yourself (within limits, of course). If a glass is empty, the next course follows.

It was a decent meal, professionally executed, from high quality produce. However, there were too many minor points stopping it from rising to a fully satisfying dining experience. Some of the flavour combinations were not bold enough and seemed to play down to the safe side (for instance the panna cotta was too bland even with the toppings) while others were a bit too pronounced and could have benefited from a surer hand in the kitchen (for example the red rice base of the main that was salty to a point that made it over power the finer ingredients instead of accentuating them). But the main point that stopped it from rising to a truly special dining experience was a lack of passion: there was no guidance or recommendation for choosing from the menu and when the plates arrived, the "story" of the food was not presented (where did ingredients come from, why this direction was chosen? etc.) as you'd expect with this type of cuisine. In fact with a few of the dishes the staff did not even say what was being served but simply left our order on the table, which at this level is disappointing. All in all, nice concept of concentrating on a few well sourced and well executed dishes, fair pricing, but could certainly do better and rise to the next level. I look forward to that happening. It is well known that anyone who constantly describes their sense of taste as “tasty” has either lost control of their taste or has none at all. After my visit to Jungbluth with friends, I had no other choice this time: it tasted extremely delicious! It was beyond the scope to appreciate every single enjoyment of the three-course menu here. The kitchen team has, among other things, succeeded excellently in teasing out the flavor that characterizes each ingredient, which you are always looking for and rarely find. And serving sea bass and steak so perfectly is an art in itself. Everything applied and presented by a naturally friendly and competent service team at an acceptable price. Good vibes at all. There is a pleasantly informal atmosphere here. The dishes are colorful and surprising in their taste combination. My daughter-in-law is thrilled: In my entire life, my parents have never invited me to such a great restaurant.

Definitely great service, dishes (meat/fish) definitely too small for the prices quoted, value for money is not right here, there are better addresses in Berlin. Background noise is extremely loud when the restaurant is full!

Is recommended - but since I also pay attention to the price-performance ratio, it is simply too expensive for me. Otherwise simply and nicely furnished, very friendly staff. Had the surprise menu. At the beginning, two types of bread with a few dips were served. Neither the bread nor the dips were particularly convincing (not bad by any means, but not abnormally awesome either). The 3 courses were good. The wine with it was by far the best, really very good!

Delicious food and quick and attentive service gave us a great evening. We sat in the old kitchen, a small separate room. So the 6 of us were able to have a great chat. Many thanks to the whole team. Keep it up!

We had a lovely experience on a Thursday evening. Outstanding food but an unpretentious environment - great! We enjoyed the wine but forgot to note the name of the vineyard. I wrote an email the next day to ask what it was, and the chef himself wrote back and sent the detailed information! Great thought and care here.

An unforgettable culinary experience! I chose the surprise menu and was thrilled. Very sophisticated, high-quality dishes prepared with love. The combinations of ingredients were harmonious and yet incredibly exciting. Visually presented so beautifully that I had to look at the dishes before enjoying them. The price-performance ratio is more than reasonable. The service was friendly, attentive and quick. The ambience is relaxed and stylish. I felt very comfortable and am looking forward to the next time.

The Jungbluth impresses in every respect: the friendly and courteous service, the creative and exciting menu with very acceptable prices, the cozy and pleasant ambience inside and outside, but above all the dishes themselves are a wonderful culinary delight per se, which we will not soon forget and which has put a blissfully satisfied grin on our faces. Our icing on the cake was the elegant, extravagant interpretation of Black Forest cake for dessert - simply wow! We'll be back, that's for sure!

I haven't eaten so well in a long time! We had the 3 course meal (Jungbluth's choice) and sat outside in the lovely outdoor area. Two young but very motivated, committed and good-looking waiters sweetened our evening. The portions were just right, but I think maybe a little too small for tall men 😄 we'll definitely be back 👍🏼

We also had the 4-course surprise menu and I agree with Kuschke on everything. Only our visit day was different. With this menu you can confidently place yourself in the carefully choosing hands of the house. Great food, great wines. I would immediately subscribe to the Sauvignon Blanc for the rest of my life - and beyond. And then the sea bream... Super aromatic! And under? When I say rice now, it's a complete understatement. Go and try it out!

We had a wonderful evening with exquisite food and excellent wine. It was so nice that I will be celebrating my big birthday with a larger group at Jungbluth. The enjoyable taste of wine and food was just the start of the big birthday on Sunday: The Jungbluth is the perfect restaurant if you want to celebrate carefree. There were 24 of us who spent enjoyable hours on the terrace with the hedge facing Lepsiusstrasse. The four-course menu with choices was delicious. The cuisine has proven its high quality to delight all guests, even weak eaters. The service was professional/experienced and at the same time charming, funny and attentive. It was a wonderful evening and I thank the team from the bottom of my heart. This celebration will last for a long time.

We had a company dinner last night with our customers, the food and service was excellent, our guests were very impressed, thank you for this wonderful evening!

I’m Going to tell you a story… in fact six stories. Meals happen every day. But an experience remains. We just had the most memorable meal of a life time. The last time my taste buds were tantalized like this, was in Venice when I was 12 years old and I enjoyed my first REAL dining experience. It began with a greeting from the kitchen consisting of an onion panna cotta. Now don’t ask me how you make onion panna cotta but it was glorious. The true essence of the onion was clear yet delicate. And the texture was mouth watering. Following this we had a smooth paprika soup. The Smokey taste of the paprika was combined excellently with the velvety soup. Next up was a crunchy fried piece of pig belly that made my mouth water. Combine with the Soya sesame reduction, I was immediately transported to cloud 9. As if things weren’t already good enough, we were then greeted by a piece of salmon with peas and asparagus. The fish melted in my mouth as it should, and the asparagus was cooked to perfection. The main course consisted of a piece of lamb back, with spinach, and potato gratin. The lamb could be cut like butter and was seasoned to perfection. The gratin was warm and soft on the inside, with a delicate crunch on the outside. By this point we were stuffed, but were greeted by the finale: a finely curated cheeseboard, along with a chocolate mousse with hard exeterior and hazelnut ice cream. They were the proverbial cherry on the cake. During our dining experience, we drank the accompaniment of wines that the team paired superbly with each course. I cannot speak highly enough of what Andre and his team are doing at Jungbluth. It is the epitome of fine dining, and they find the perfect balance between experimentation and traditional tastes: harmonious like a choir. Thank you!

Were for the first but definitely not the last time. The dishes are very tasty, everything was right - juiciness, crunchiness, bitterness, umami and a certain something else. Not an exaggerated price-performance ratio. Thank you very much!

A journey through the excellent world of taste at Jungbluth is always worth it! We had a completely perfect evening for two with the best food and great staff.

The food at Jungbluth is very fine: one component of each course was salty, sweet or sour, so that great flavor combinations developed in the mouth. The highlight was the perfectly cooked lamb. Unfortunately, the portions were far too small and, with three courses together, were just a little more than a starter. I also think that part of a perfect evening of fine dining is that you don't get up hungry after three courses. I think a few more side dishes on the plates would be a good idea. So I would only recommend the Jungbluth to a limited extent.

Wonderful! Do you know how you carefully order something in a restaurant that you probably like - and then you're disappointed? Here it's the other way around: don't worry, order anything, let yourself be surprised - it will be delicious! Otherwise you don't like...? Here already! This restaurant is really something special!

There were four of us at Jungbluth and we all chose the 4-course “surprise menu” with wine accompaniment, sometimes with fish, sometimes with meat as the main course. We were all absolutely thrilled with the taste, composition and appearance of the food and wine. I would also like to say a big thank you to the absolutely friendly and attentive service team and send many gourmet greetings to the kitchen. Keep it up!!! It was a very successful evening.

Unfortunately that was nothing. Somehow our meal was not a good one. We came on a recommendation - and left without being able to give one ourselves. If you want to cook so ambitiously and as a chef you trust yourself to bring the ingredients and components to the plate so perfectly that you don't respond to guests' requests (the request if you can have a dish without wild garlic pesto, because you have wild garlic didn't like it, the answer was: "the kitchen doesn't like it when the guests change something about the side dishes - they're already coordinated with each other the way they should be"), it's just stupid if you only wait after the one you've given up Order comes back and has to admit: "Unfortunately, for your three plates of eagle fish, we would have to change the eagle fish to sturgeon, we don't have any left". Not only does the kitchen have to be expected to know by/at 6 p.m. whether it has enough main ingredients for one of the 2 fish dishes (and a total of 5 main dishes) on the menu. It's even stupider that the "perfect coordination" of all the ingredients doesn't mean that the wild garlic pesto can be left out - but it does allow for the replacement of the rather mild-tasting eaglefish with a very strong (unfortunately also fishy-smelling) sturgeon. Probably because of the kitchen and not the guest No matter - if the food had really been perfectly coordinated, I wouldn't have complained about this pretentious way of dealing with guests. But unfortunately the dishes were over-decorated and complex, without being particularly sophisticated or tasty it's somehow "two different things". But if the two things are limited to bringing an ingredient to the plate in two slightly different puree forms (as happened with the dessert with the sour cherry additions) or, as with the amuse gueule, a tasteless carrot puree and an equally tasteless slivered (supposedly roasted) Carrot slice, then two things quickly become one. Two kinds of spinach (once over-salted, once not) and a saffron risotto that was so "al dente" that you bit into half-cooked rice grains that were dry on the inside... All of that can happen. But it's just stupid when it happens with one with a very self-confident attitude that doesn't show that you're really interested in the guests' wishes - but rather in your own self-realization. Did we eat it up: yes (we were really hungry and the portions were - at prices just under 40 EUR). the main courses - rather small; if you didn't want to leave hungry, you had to eat it all - just not really good). As here, when I was asked at the end of the meal how it was, we remained silent. Firstly, because at the end we weren't even asked anything in the way that made it clear that a real answer wasn't wanted ( except: yes, everything is great). This whole atmosphere had already arisen when we asked for a blanket to protect us from the evening chill shortly after taking a seat on the terrace. We got them - but everything always seemed slightly passive aggressive: we didn't really feel welcome, and there was no incentive to get involved in detailed feedback. May it be an incentive to work on it.

The menu at Jungbluth is uncomplicated and speaks to thoughtful, confident decisions. Creative choices by the chef; flavorful memorable meal. Fully attentive yet discreet service. Peaceful outdoor seating, lovely on a spring evening.

The food was wonderful as always. Service has a few weak points. Waited a long time for the second glass of wine and the soup from the menu was forgotten. I assume this won't happen again.

Man hatte das Gefühl jeder Wunsch, ob ein Bier oder eine separate Rechnung eine Zumutung und Belastung für den Kellner war.

Wir waren äußerst positiv von dem Essen überrascht, auch der Service und die Location waren sehr angenehm. Das Essen hat in allen 3-Gängen einfach fusioniert-ein Gang ist in den nächsten perfekt übergegangen und sowohl optisch als auch geschmacklich eine glatte 10! Wir kommen sehr gern wieder…

My husband and I were in Jungbluth for the first time and felt very well looked after here. The team is warm and accommodating, even with special requests. We had the 3-course Easter menu, where we were impressed and enjoyed every course in its composition. We will definitely come back and would happily recommend the Jungbluth!

We came here because of a gift voucher and are absolutely thrilled! We had the 3-course surprise menu in the vegetarian version and it was incredibly delicious. All the carefully selected ingredients, tailored to the different flavors, simply resulted in an excellent overall composition. We thoroughly enjoyed the menu and finally ordered another dessert and the cheese platter because we just couldn't get enough of the incredibly good food. The service was also extremely friendly, very accommodating and, above all, very attentive. We can only recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back!

It’s been my first visit to Jungbluth and it’s been an incredible experience! Me and my friends chose all 3 surprise menus and have been blown away by the creativity and the quality of each dish. Everything was perfect and the waiters were incredibly nice as well. Can’t recommend it enough. 😊

Food excellent...service not! With the 4-course menu with wine accompaniment, the wine came with the course or after the course or not at all. The young waiter seemed a bit overwhelmed. But the food is great...no matter what you eat 5 stars. Oh yes, one more thing, maybe include fruit brandies from Prinz, for example.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a remarkable Michelin-starred restaurant in Berlin that redefined fine dining. The ambiance was refreshingly homey, steering clear of pretentiousness. The culinary experience surpassed expectations, with a focus on local and simple ingredients transformed into delectable dishes bursting with umami. Very good food but unfortunately really small portions. Service was great. Would love to come back.

For this restaurant to be so popular, it wasn't what I imagined. The food was ok. I've eaten much, much better. I had ox cheeks, which were good but the puree and other side dishes were undefinable. Fine dining looks different. The service was great and so was the ambience.

In preparation for a wedding we ate a 4-course meal. The composition of the dishes was very successful. The accompanying wines went excellently. Thanks to the great service and the very cozy atmosphere, it was a great evening. We are already looking forward to the celebration.

We had high expectations from a previous visit, but they were far exceeded!! We had 4 course surprise menus with meat, fish and vegetarian, accompanied by wine and water/coffee here in the house called the “Jungbluthabend”. Everything presented perfectly and accompanied by exciting wines. Plus, downright loving service. The price-performance ratio is sensationally good! Thank you for the great evening, we definitely have to come back to Berlin to eat at Jungbluth!!
