Jungbluth in Berlin

I've never experienced anything like what I experienced at Jubgbluth today, whether in Germany or anywhere in the world. Overall, it's the best I've ever experienced. Ambience, selection, service, appearance, and quality of the food and wine/drinks: 150 out of 100 points, you can't get more than that!! I'm a critical person. Having grown up in the hotel/restaurant industry, and with the demands and awards of a restaurant, my expectations and standards grow. Both were more than exceeded at #Jungbluth!! Mine refers to the JUNGBLUTH 4-course menu including wine pairing, water, and coffee. It's a shame I'm from Stuttgart, otherwise I'd have a new favorite restaurant. Thanks to the entire Jungbluth team, please keep up the good work.

As a family, we're repeat customers and always enjoy coming to Jungbluth for special occasions. The staff is exceptionally friendly and provides competent advice without being intrusive. The dishes are small works of art, prepared with great dedication and taste. And most importantly: they taste great! I rarely let myself get carried away with reviews. But this time, I simply couldn't help it: WOW! I've rarely spent such a pleasant evening in a restaurant. The service literally anticipates your every need without being intrusive. The food is of such exquisite quality and prepared with such love that you'll want to shout for joy. We had an absolutely perfect evening at jungbluth. The service truly stood out; the staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional, making us feel special throughout the meal. The food was the star of the show—each course was exquisitely flavored and presented with incredible creativity. The dishes were so beautifully arranged, as you can see in the pictures I've posted. Also great varieties: fish, meat or vegetarian options available. They are rumored to get a Michelin star soon and they definitely deserve it. It's a wonderful experience from start to finish. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! I would come back any day.

Jungblut is located at Lepsiusstrasse 63, 12163 Berlin. They offer surprise menus with creative meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes, along with German wines. A real highlight in Steglitz. Rather fine, modern cuisine, good wine selection. Attentive and friendly service, reasonable prices. Always happy to return, reservations are recommended, as it's (rightfully) busy.

I had high expectations after reading so many great reviews, and I must honestly say they were exceeded. I ate here with my family for my grandma's birthday last week, and it was simply fantastic. The food was amazing, beautifully presented, colorful, and delicious! We had a wine pairing with some really exciting wines. The service was excellent, friendly, and the atmosphere was appropriately pleasant for a Friday. I'll definitely be back!

A Culinary Revelation – À La Carte at Jungblut Our visit to Jungblut was a true delight from start to finish. The service was also excellent: friendly, competent, and with the right feel for the guest. Each course was served with a brief but very informative explanation – just right to round off the experience without being intrusive. We were guests here as part of a private gathering. We had a lovely meal on the terrace. Excellent food as part of a multi-course menu and very good wines. Attentive, friendly service. Conclusion: Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.

First of all,I should mention the service and the staff in the kitchen.We had the most lovely waitress and waiter.They were all amazing,you feel like they are good team. Fish and cucumber soup was so delicious.The desert ,chocolate mousse with berries was fantastic..so delicious.And thank you very much for the complimentary desert,it was also a hit with pistachios.Thank you very much for your kindness.

I had a very negative experience here today. The online menu listed Skrei from Lofoten and St. Peter's fish fillet for fish. Instead, there was salmon and monkfish. I was told the website only offered a sample menu. It says so at the top of the page. Correct. So I ordered monkfish. I was assured it would be quick. Half an hour later, I was offered salmon as my first course. I said I hadn't ordered it and repeated what I had ordered. Twenty minutes later, the waiter came back to ask what I had ordered, saying the kitchen couldn't remember. I would have to wait another thirty minutes for the food. I decided to leave. What a shame. I like the restaurant's concept.

Our favorite restaurant in the Steglitzer Kiez severely disappointed us tonight. A completely overwhelmed staff, apparently understaffed on a Sunday evening, served us almost entirely without a smile. It took two hours to serve one appetizer and three main courses. And even when I went to the counter to ask when the main course would be served, not a single word of apology was heard. And during the entire wait, we didn't see a single server so we could order another glass of wine. It really doesn't work that way. Unfortunately, Jungbluth is becoming a dead end. What a shame!

Good service; the surprise menu is especially recommended. Sitting outside is lovely in the summer.

A great choice if you want to try something gourmet. Creativity is their greatest strength. The place has a great atmosphere, the drinks are delicious, and there are always exciting dishes on the menu. Give yourself the opportunity to try different options—it's really worth it.

We had to wait almost an hour for the (shared) starter. The main courses were nicely presented, but tasted nothing special, lacking that certain something you'd expect from a gourmet restaurant. The monkfish was bland and undercooked. There was no vegetarian main course. Overall, unfortunately, it was disappointing.

We enjoy eating out a lot without often leaving reviews, but Jungbluth deserves a special mention: excellent, flavorful cuisine where the individual components were showcased very well, a balanced flavor experience; I've rarely tasted such good Ibérico, accompanied by crisp vegetables and a delicious sauce. The desserts are also wonderful. The prices for the wines by the glass (in the menu, not the current specials) are absolutely reasonable, and there are also non-alcoholic options. The non-alcoholic rosé I tried was very good, without any artificial aftertaste or overly sweet taste. The service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. Four of us ate here and we absolutely agreed: Jungbluth is truly highly recommended!

Long before our dinner at the Jungbluth restaurant in Berlin-Steglitz, we reserved the "Alte Küche" via email – a completely uncomplicated and quick process. Enjoying our surprise menu in the private room, in a private and convivial atmosphere, was a special experience. The food was, as always at this restaurant, outstanding, the wines first-class, and the service extremely friendly and patient with us. The Alte Küche is ideal if you want to bring a few people together to get to know each other.

The surprise menu has never disappointed us: always perfectly prepared and presented. The wine pairing is also highly recommended.

We rarely and very much like to come to the Jungbluth and have always received friendly and attentive service. I can fully recommend this restaurant.

I've been going to Jungbluth for years. Very good, well thought-out food, also for vegetarians, with lots of creative ideas. I usually choose the three-course menu. To start with, there is bread with four different creams, followed by a surprise from the kitchen, a "spoon dish", and then the starter is usually a very good soup. With enough time, the main course comes, everything is always explained very well by the server. The dessert is also excellent and I always feel full.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a 4-course meal at this fantastic restaurant - and all I can say is it was an absolute highlight! Each course was excellently coordinated with creative taste, precise craftsmanship and prepared with great attention to detail. Particularly noteworthy is the homemade dessert, which was not only a visual dream but also taste-wise a crowning achievement. The wine accompaniment was excellently selected and complemented each dish wonderfully. The dessert wine in particular was a real discovery, slightly sweet with dates and southern aromas, probably from the region south of Lisbon. Simply heavenly! The service was also very attentive and the atmosphere was stylish yet relaxed. Water was served throughout without having to ask for it - a small but nice point that rounds off the overall positive impression. When it comes to value for money, all that can be said is that it is absolutely fair for what is on offer.

The food was excellent as always!! I have to make a few compromises when it comes to service this time, we apparently had a newer employee who brought us water bottles but didn't pour them, didn't pour the red wine to try and then closed again, that's why only the three stars. But we will definitely come back if we are in Berlin.

My son and I had a great evening with a 4-course menu and wine accompaniment. Very tasty, intense aromas were conjured up in the kitchen. The service was super nice, careful, attentive and present. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. We will come back. P. S. When we went home we discovered that through a large window we had a rare view of the small, manageable kitchen from the street and terrace. An interesting icing on the cake. I went to this restaurant for the first time with my girlfriend as it was highly praised in all the restaurant guides. Unfortunately, the quality of the food as well as the ambience and service were poor. My monkfish was dry and I could buy and arrange the dessert cheese myself in a cheap supermarket, I don't need a star restaurant for that. My friend said her sauce and the chef's thank you tasted like ready-made food. I also asked for my glass of wine to be refilled, but the waitress forgot it. I then tried again after dinner. Then came the wine. But for 12 euros per glass I expect more attention. The dirty, empty plates also sat at the table for half an hour, which is rather unusual for a restaurant in this price range. I'm very sorry, but unfortunately I can only speak from my own experience. We were very disappointed. It was expensive and not good. I'm not a bot, I'm a human, my girlfriend too, we really went to this restaurant. Neither the food tasted good nor was the service attentive. And it was enormously and unjustifiably expensive! The owner's response clearly indicates that it is not a good recommendation because they do not want to deal with their mistakes. Apparently there are enough customers, so this review won't hurt either. Well then! Anyone who has money will also come here. For us it was a special occasion that went really wrong.

The two of us were at Jungbluth for a special occasion (birthday) and had a 4-course menu (surprise/best choice, one with fish and one with meat) and were very enthusiastic. Even if you don't drink wine, you will receive very friendly advice and very attentive service here. Very special selection of dishes and different ways of preparing the individual components with really surprising taste experiences. A very good price-performance ratio for this exclusive kitchen. The only point of criticism is the somewhat cool guest room. However, we were sitting right by the window when the snowstorm started outside.

We were able to enjoy a delicious 4-course menu with wine accompaniment. As guests, we determined the time for the next course by emptying our wine glasses. So we had a lot of time. Very tasty selection and the right wines. A very good price-performance ratio for this exclusive kitchen. We ate a four-course meal including wine accompaniment. It was a dinner for two. The food was exceptional and the wine pairing was great. We were also able to have some influence if you don't like strong wines or certain dessert wines. The prices are extremely high, but this is a very classy restaurant that you should definitely only eat at very rarely on special occasions. We knew the prices in advance from the homepage. We would love to come back for a wedding anniversary or something similar.

We were at Jungbluth for the fourth time and had the four-course menu with wine accompaniment for the fourth time. It was once again excellent. The food is prepared with a lot of love and the different components are perfectly coordinated. You can always rely on the wine recommendations for the courses. The wines are very tasty and go well with the respective courses. The team is friendly and attentive without being too present, so that you can chat in peace and enjoy the time. It is also very pleasant that you can determine the pace of the courses yourself (within limits, of course). If a glass is empty, the next course follows.

It was a decent meal, professionally executed, from high quality produce. However, there were too many minor points stopping it from rising to a fully satisfying dining experience. Some of the flavour combinations were not bold enough and seemed to play down to the safe side (for instance the panna cotta was too bland even with the toppings) while others were a bit too pronounced and could have benefited from a surer hand in the kitchen (for example the red rice base of the main that was salty to a point that made it over power the finer ingredients instead of accentuating them). But the main point that stopped it from rising to a truly special dining experience was a lack of passion: there was no guidance or recommendation for choosing from the menu and when the plates arrived, the "story" of the food was not presented (where did ingredients come from, why this direction was chosen? etc.) as you'd expect with this type of cuisine. In fact with a few of the dishes the staff did not even say what was being served but simply left our order on the table, which at this level is disappointing. All in all, nice concept of concentrating on a few well sourced and well executed dishes, fair pricing, but could certainly do better and rise to the next level. I look forward to that happening. As restaurateurs, we can only warmly recommend the Jungbluth: an excellent 5-course menu, perfectly matched with a wonderful wine accompaniment, first-class service and an absolutely fair price-performance ratio. It is well known that anyone who constantly describes their sense of taste as “tasty” has either lost control of their taste or has none at all. After my visit to Jungbluth with friends, I had no other choice this time: it tasted extremely delicious! It was beyond the scope to appreciate every single enjoyment of the three-course menu here. The kitchen team has, among other things, succeeded excellently in teasing out the flavor that characterizes each ingredient, which you are always looking for and rarely find. And serving sea bass and steak so perfectly is an art in itself. Everything applied and presented by a naturally friendly and competent service team at an acceptable price. Good vibes at all. Chapeau Jungbluth!

There is a pleasantly informal atmosphere here. The dishes are colorful and surprising in their taste combination. My daughter-in-law is thrilled: In my entire life, my parents have never invited me to such a great restaurant.

Definitely great service, dishes (meat/fish) definitely too small for the prices quoted, value for money is not right here, there are better addresses in Berlin. Background noise is extremely loud when the restaurant is full!

Is recommended - but since I also pay attention to the price-performance ratio, it is simply too expensive for me. Otherwise simply and nicely furnished, very friendly staff. Had the surprise menu. At the beginning, two types of bread with a few dips were served. Neither the bread nor the dips were particularly convincing (not bad by any means, but not abnormally awesome either). The 3 courses were good. The wine with it was by far the best, really very good!

Delicious food and quick and attentive service gave us a great evening. We sat in the old kitchen, a small separate room. So the 6 of us were able to have a great chat. Many thanks to the whole team. Keep it up!

The Jungbluth impresses in every respect: the friendly and courteous service, the creative and exciting menu with very acceptable prices, the cozy and pleasant ambience inside and outside, but above all the dishes themselves are a wonderful culinary delight per se, which we will not soon forget and which has put a blissfully satisfied grin on our faces. Our icing on the cake was the elegant, extravagant interpretation of Black Forest cake for dessert - simply wow! We'll be back, that's for sure!

I haven't eaten so well in a long time! We had the 3 course meal (Jungbluth's choice) and sat outside in the lovely outdoor area. Two young but very motivated, committed and good-looking waiters sweetened our evening. The portions were just right, but I think maybe a little too small for tall men 😄 we'll definitely be back 👍🏼

I invited a good friend for his birthday and had a very, very nice evening. The service was great, very attentive and accommodating. Now to the food, we had the menu and our own selection from the menu. Every course and every dish was wonderful and special. We were very impressed and satisfied.

We also had the 4-course surprise menu and I agree with Kuschke on everything. Only our visit day was different. With this menu you can confidently place yourself in the carefully choosing hands of the house. Great food, great wines. I would immediately subscribe to the Sauvignon Blanc for the rest of my life - and beyond. And then the sea bream... Super aromatic! And under? When I say rice now, it's a complete understatement. Go and try it out!
