Perfect wonderful food, as always. Super friendly service and great ambience. The food and the friendliness of the staff there are always consistently excellent!

Been here for dinner. All in all it was really very good and super tasty. The atmosphere is very cozy, the decoration is wild and perhaps a bit overloaded. Here, more is definitely more. The service was very friendly and everything came to the table warm in a reasonable time. The food itself was really excellent. Despite the mostly classic cuisine, all dishes were prepared in a modern way. And even though everyone was actually full, the surprise dessert was arrested. Everything can be recommended without exception. Since everything was so great, there are two tiny points of criticism. Either I was unlucky and got the rest of the bag of chips or you should consider changing the manufacturer. I only had a lot of very small pieces in the basket, which I personally didn't like. In addition, the lid of the incredibly delicious Mühlenburger was completely burnt. I wouldn't have given it out like that, even though to be honest no one would eat it anyway. But that doesn't detract from the great rating. Keep it up. We'll definitely be back.

Wir waren mit Freunden am 3.Advent zum Entenessen verabredet. Uns wurde bei der Reservierung ein separater Raum angeboten - dieser war absolut top. Wie das ganze Restaurant liebevoll eingerichtet. Unser Essen war erwartungsgemäß lecker, die Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Und von wirklich freundlichem und aufmerksamem Personal serviert. Jeder in unserer bunten Runde war wieder einmal begeistert. So schauen wir erwartungsvoll auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Vielen vielen lieben Dank für die schönen Stunden! PS: Von dem Gewusel in dem alten Gemäuer sollte man sich nicht stören lassen - es wollen halt Viele Gutes genießen.

We had a wonderful Christmas dinner with the whole family today. As every year, the location is beautifully decorated and the service is super nice. Everything is perfect, see you next year! We'd love to come back.

Food good, service great, atmosphere difficult. Homemade croquettes take my heart by storm. The remoulade with the fish was a coarsely chopped egg salad and not eaten. The fish itself was great again. But the rooms are neither uniform nor tastefully decorated and the front garden desperately needs tidying up. The location is actually really picturesque.

Since everyone looks at the plate next to them when the delicious dishes are served and had the thought... oh if only I had🤔🤔🤔, this is intended to highlight the diverse... something for everyone... selection. Cuisine, service and high quality in all aspects go hand in hand. We all went home very satisfied with the feeling of having experienced something excellent. A small I still have inspiration. Reservations by email would give the mill team more planning security. And enable guest loyalty in a contemporary way. We look forward to the next time and wish the mill team a happy holiday. Wir hatten vorab reserviert, gott sei dank war sehr voll. Ich denke mal ist ein Geheimtipp für Fremde , nette flotte Bedienung immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatte Gans und waren mehr als zufrieden und kommen gern wieder. Danke für die Gastfreundlichkeit und werden Sie weiterempfehlen.

Today we went to the mill with 4 people to eat goose. Everyone had a 1/4 goose with side dishes. Meat excellent, side dishes (dumplings, sauce, red cabbage and Brussels sprouts) very good. Served hot, beautifully presented. Very nice service, very friendly, very attentive. Always with a smile. I'm willing to pay the higher, but definitely reasonable, price. We'll be happy to come back.

Super cool, quaint restaurant, service was quick and friendly, beer from the mug, food was super tasty. Greetings from the kitchen ➡️ a potato soup. For free. Where else can you find something like that? The salad for the main course was also very good. Delicious dressing, fresh, good combination. Definitely worth a visit.

Today we had a wonderful evening in a restaurant that not only impresses with its tastefully designed ambience, but also with its excellent service and outstanding cuisine. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, so we immediately felt welcome. To eat: We ordered the veal Wiener Schnitzel with crispy fries, truffle pasta with scampi and a perfectly fried beef fillet. All dishes were incredibly tasty and seasoned with great attention to detail – simply a culinary delight! Overall, an all-round successful experience that we can warmly recommend. If you are looking for quality and enjoyment, you have come to the right place.

Were there for the first time last night and had reserved a table for 5 people in advance. The food was fantastic, the service was top notch and the ambience was excellent and decorated with great attention to detail. All in all we were very satisfied and will definitely come back.

My husband surprised me with a visit to the Heimbacher Mühle and, as always, I was completely thrilled. I have been working in the catering industry for almost 30 years and I can say that everything is really right here. People still cook properly here and you won't find any convenience products in any of the dishes. Really first class, because you have to look for a long time to find a restaurant that still uses really good products and doesn't resort to quick options. The service is also outstanding, no wish remains unfulfilled. Cheers!!! The beef fillet and the venison goulache were a dream!

A beautiful retreat just outside Frankfurt in an idyllic location in the middle of the Spessart. A wonderful unconventional garden with beautiful tables. The stream roars in the background and you feel completely at ease. We were warmly welcomed with a smile and had a wonderful evening. Thanks to the super nice team, Else who does her rounds and is the soul of the house, the freshly caught pan-fried trout and the dessert. I have never seen such a beautiful dessert menu with such a selection. The semolina pudding with the plums, like my grandmother's ❤️. We felt very comfortable and haven't had such a delicious evening in such a beautiful atmosphere for a long time! Thank you all for your hospitality.

Delicious meal outside under a large canopy. For me 3 types of fish with salad and tagliatelle with pesto. For my husband the rump steak. Very generous portions and so tasty. The outside area is also attractively and pleasantly decorated. Payment can only be made with a German bank card or German credit card, otherwise in cash. Nice detail next to the outside terrace is a meadow with sheep and geese. You don't smell anything

After a long time we were back at the Heimbacher Mühle! When I entered, I was amazed at the ambience. The food was super good, we felt like we were on vacation!

It was my first time at Heimbacher Mühle and I was totally thrilled. When you get there you will find a really beautifully located restaurant in the middle of nature. A beautifully landscaped outdoor area invites you to eat and linger. Very friendly service staff lead you to the place and regularly ask if everything is OK. The drinks are very tasty, especially the cocktails and the homemade lemonades. The food is super tasty and also plentiful. It's not cheap but the quality of the food is definitely worth it. It's definitely not the last time I've been there and I'm already looking forward to the next time.

We came here spontaneously during the weekday lunchtime during a short motorcycle tour and got a nice spot in the courtyard. Food was delicious, service was very friendly, but we waited a long time for our food (salad and fish), even though there wasn't really much going on. Prices are very high for the region, but also very tasty and fresh. We would definitely come again :)

Absolut fantastisches Essen und top Service! Wir haben dort nach einer Wanderung gegessen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, viele frische Kräuter, super Saucen und Gemüse der Saison. Das Personal ist sehr schnell und durchweg aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir hatten Forelle, Wildgulasch, Pfifferlinge mit Semmelknödeln und Salat mit Ziegenkäse. Große Abwechslung auf der Karte und viele tolle Desserts. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Had a lovely evening here, they had wild boar goulash which was delicious, the salmon burger was the biggest burger I have seen, more like a tower, was really tasty and lovely evening for two people. We were at the Heimbacher Mühle for the first time today and are absolutely thrilled with everything. The first impression upon entering was “how cozy” and this feeling of coziness was crowned with “being welcome”. All the employees, whether boss, senior boss or everyone else, were super warm, always ready for a little joke or a little kindness and, on top of that, everyone was very attentive, which increased the feeling of well-being and gave us a fun stay. The cocktails are worth testing out one or two new creations and, above all, they look great in the great glasses. And to top it all off, the food was absolutely top class. I have rarely eaten so, so, so well. It was certainly not the last time we were guests. Thank you for the lovely lunch with you. Keep this refreshing natural friendly way of dealing with your guests. We were there for lunch with 7 people. We had liver dumpling soup, rump steak with asparagus, grilled fish platter, venison schnitzel, game goulash, roast wild boar and pork medallions. The salad was served in a bowl and everyone could take whatever they wanted. We recommend. We'll definitely come back.

Great restaurant and cafe! A beautiful place with a nice garden and many places both inside and outside. We 'only' enjoyed coffee and cake, but there are many dishes on the extensive menu with different themes each month. Plus homemade juices, spritz and much more. The service is very nice and attentive. Definitely worth a stop!

We've been coming here on Good Friday for ages and are never disappointed. The mill is always extremely busy, but the service always has everything under control! :) The dishes taste really excellent, and the schnapps are also delicious. The interior is totally quaint. We really like being here because we are very well looked after and can eat very well.

I had dinner with my girlfriend and a friend at the Heimbacher Mühle. Both the schnitzel and the burger were very good. We were also served a carrot and ginger soup as a welcome from the house. This was also excellent. I would also like to highlight the service. My friend accidentally spilled a coke. The tablecloth was then immediately replaced and order was kept in a very polite manner. We ordered another coke and on the bill we noticed that it wasn't charged even though we spilled the other coke. Something like this is not a given and is a very nice service. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone as the food and service are excellent.

We ate at Heimbacher Mühle for the first time today and were totally satisfied. The welcome was very friendly and almost friendly. Despite the stress, everyone was in a good mood and, last but not least, the food tasted excellent. “Only” a small menu was offered at lunchtime and this selection was already great. We will come back and try the evening menu.

For me the best restaurant in the Spessart area. The food is excellent, the service is super friendly, the atmosphere is homely, cozy and familiar. In the warm months there is also a really nice outdoor area with a mill stream babbling through it. My parents enjoyed eating there back then and since then they have only had positive experiences.

Today I was at the Heimbacher Mühle for the first time. I was invited to a party and didn't know the restaurant. The Heimbacher Mühle is located just outside surrounded by meadows and forest and is ideal for a stop after a hike. The restaurant offers sufficient parking spaces. As the name suggests, it is an old mill building that has been converted into a cute restaurant. The restaurant is divided into different rooms, each of which is ideal for family celebrations. What was surprising was the many different facilities, from a dignified small room with a festive table to a small "knight's hall" to a living room atmosphere, everything was there. The food was indescribably good. You could tell that not only is the food freshly cooked here, but that everything is actually made from scratch. I emphasize that I have rarely eaten so well. The way the food was prepared was also exceptional and with attention to detail. The service was extremely friendly and warm, I would even say, almost family-like. In summer, the large outdoor area becomes a beer garden, which, according to reports, is just as extraordinary as the restaurant itself. I'll definitely come back.

Leider kam ich gegen Nachmittag und kurz vor Schließung der Küche. Dennoch erhielt ich eine kleine Auswahl an Gerichten, welche ich wählen konnte. Der Kellner war überaus freundlich und dabei nicht aufdringlich. Das Essen sehr lecker und von guter Qualität, jedoch etwas teurer. Das Ambiente war einladend, detailreich dekoriert und nicht überladen.

Wir kommen schon viele Jahre zum Gänse essen hierher und es ist immer eine Reise wert. Das Essen super lecker, das Personal schnell und freundlich. Schön ist auch, daß Dir Oma.mit Ihren 88 Jahren fest integriert ist.

Waren dorthin eingeladen worden. War ein bisschen so als ob das Personal etwas überfordert war. Bis das Essen kam,hat es ziemlich lange gedauert. Villeicht hatten die einen schlechten Tag. Hat aber dann auch geschmeckt.

Preis-Leistung 1a. Wer gute regionale Gerichte sucht ist hier richtig! Man merkt, dass es ein Familienbetrieb ist. Toll!

Es dauert sehr lange bis das Essen serviert wurde.

Eines meiner absoluten Lieblingsrestaurants! Gehe seit über 20 Jahren dort hin. Die Bedienung und das ganze Team ist super freundlich, die Anrichtung des Essens wunderschön, das Ambiente draußen wie ein gemütlicher Garten. Die Karte hat zu viel Auswahl an Gutem!😂 Da kann man sich nie entscheiden. Alles super lecker! Und dafür nicht teuer. Die Qualität und die geschmackliche Reise sind jedesmal ein Genuss.

Septeber 2023: Wir landeten hier zufällig während einer Radtour und wurden mehr als angenehm überrascht. Die Mühle liegt idyllisch an einem Bach. Schon als wir an den Nebentischen die ersten Speisen sahen, wussten wir, dass wir hier goldrichtig sind. Ein Gericht sah besser aus als das andere. Unsere mittlerweile hohen Erwartungen wurden mehr als erfüllt. Unser Essen war zum Niederknien gut. Selten habe ich so leckere Sößchen gegessen, auch die Kroketten und Spätzle waren hausgemacht. Absolut empfehlen kann ich den köstlichen Wildgulasch und die Schweinelendchen mit frischen Pfifferlingen 😋. Hier werden wir sicherlich noch öfter landen. Nachtrag Ende Oktober 2023: Zwischenzeitlich waren wir noch einige Male hier und jedes Mal wieder begeistert. Ich kann diese Location absolut empfehlen 👌. Sie eignet sich auch toll als Start und Ziel einer Wanderung.
