We visited on Saturday and had a fantastic time! My wife had the veggie burger – it was absolutely amazing! It was served with probably the best sweet potato fries we've ever eaten. Even I, who's not usually a big fan of sweet potato fries, was completely won over and pleasantly surprised. I had the roast beef – and I have to say: it tasted like Grandma's! Truly delicious, you could really taste the red wine in the sauce. Overall, it was a great, harmonious dish. The service was fast, reliable, and super friendly. You can really tell that the team creates a great atmosphere and that the restaurant is run with a lot of passion. The menu, design, and drink selection are also lovingly thought out. We also had the homemade lemonade and two drinks to finish – both highly recommended! A little insider tip: The bench at the bar is perfect for a cozy chat with two or three people. Overall, it was a really nice and fantastic experience—we'll definitely be back and bringing our favorite people with us!

The ambiance is modern, cozy, and designed with great attention to detail. The food was a dream – fresh, creatively presented, and simply delicious! I can especially recommend the rump steak, which was truly exceptional. The service was also attentive, but not intrusive. I'll definitely be back – finally, a restaurant that perfectly combines quality, taste, and atmosphere. Highly recommended! 👏🍽️

The food is very good and tasty. The portions are too small for the price. There weren't enough fries with the burgers, and the burger itself was a bit too small for the price. The schnitzel was good, but there weren't enough fries. It's very small, and you should make a reservation. The ambiance is dated and reminiscent of a pub from the 80s. The upholstery is damaged here and there, and after a visit, your clothes smell so bad of French fry grease and kitchen odors that you could wash everything at home. Very friendly and attentive service. There could be more selection for dessert. Addendum, since the owner responded so nicely. Something could be changed! Renovate the restaurant, replace the upholstery, and install a better filtration system in the kitchen. Better food purchasing, so the portions can be adjusted to the price. Furthermore, the owner could be more open to criticism and not write such a blunt response.

The food tasted good but we found the portions a bit small, the service could be a bit friendlier, the place is clean but when you go in you think you're back in the 80s. Addendum: even if the service is busy, you can still be friendly!

I've been eating there regularly for a long time and can only give the kitchen high praise. Very high quality and always new ideas. The drinks are also excellent. Price/performance ratio 100% okay.

Now one of the best addresses in Kahlgrund for down-to-earth food with interesting variations. Since, among other things, regular customers are present due to the operation of the tennis hall and the space is limited, you should definitely make a reservation if you are in a larger group.

Der Burger war super super lecker. Leider mussten wir oft sehr lange warten bis mal jemand kam, was teilweise schon etwas ärgerlich war. Selbst die Zahlungsabwicklung dauerte 10 Minuten obwohl außer uns nur noch 2 weitere Tische belegt waren.

Bardzo dziękujemy za miłe przyjęcie i pyszne jedzenie. Mimo pełnej sali zostaliśmy naprawdę miło potraktowani. Bardzo dziękujemy i życzymy samych sukcesów i nadal tak fantastycznego podejścia do kuchni i gości. Pozdrawiamy właścicieli.

Unscheinbarer Name, super Essen. Kleiner Biergarten, ihr solltet reservieren. Wir waren 3 Pärchen. Der Beilagensalat sehr lecker, sogar laktosefreie Salatsoße mit Sonnenblumenkerne. Wir hatten 3 Knoblauchschnitzel der helle Wahnsinn, 1 Schnitzel mit Cognac-Pfeffer Sauce, 1 Chili-Cheese Burger (keine Fertigpatties), ein bisschen mehr Schärfe wäre gut gewesen. 1 Rumpsteak 200g in bester Qualität. Als Beilage hatten wir Fry'n Dips Pommes und Kroketten. Allen hat es sehr gut geschmeckt, da warten wir auch gerne ein kleines bisschen länger. Die Chefin war heute alleine im Service und hat es gewusst. Wir kommen wieder!

Haben das Lokal durch den Schlemmerblock gefunden . Super leckere Pommes und Burger. Schöne Terrasse. Unbedingt Tisch reservieren.

Sehr gutes Lokal mit wirklich guten Speisen. Sehr sympathischer Koch der gerne auf Extrawünsche eingeht. Wir waren jetzt schon öfters dort und alles war ok. Einziges Problem ist, daß die Gaststätte relativ klein ist, man muß also besser vorher reservieren.

Top Gerichte, meines Erachtens die beste Küche in dieser Region.

Das Essen war gut, aber die Kellnerin (Chefin?) an Unfreundlichkeit eigentlich kaum mehr zu toppen. Die vorangehenden negativen Bewertungen kann ich nur bestätigen, so ein Verhalten würde man eher in einer Justizvollzugsanstalt vermuten. So etwas habe ich zuvor jedenfalls noch nie erlebt.

Wenn ihr auf gutes, frisches und super leckeres Essen steht, dann seid ihr hier richtig. Steaks genau richtig. Burger sind ein Traum und die Pommes sind selbst gemacht und schmecken super. Und die Leute dort sind super nett und freundlich.😁👍

Eines der besten Schnitzel (ich hatte das Paprika -Rahmschnitzel) das ich je gegessen habe. Im Sommer kann man angenehm draußen sitzen. Insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber guter Service und günstige Preise.

Sehr nette Gastgeber, spitzen Qualität ohne Schwankungen. Reservierung ist zu empfehlen.

Ich hatte einen Salat, der wirklich sehr lecker war. Ab 22:00 Uhr waren wir die letzten Gäste an diesem Tag, ab dann wurde uns sehr deutlich gezeigt dass wir gehen sollen. Das Licht wurde zum Teil ausgemacht die Musik wurde abgeschaltet und die Chefin hat ihre Tasche auf die Theke gestellt. So geht man nicht mit Gästen um ,wenn die Öffnungszeiten bis 23:00 sind. Auf so eine Gastfreundschaft können wir in Zukunft verzichten.

Heute zum ersten Mal dort gewesen und ich muss sagen, ich habe schon lange nicht mehr sooo gut gegessen. 👍 Der Salat ein TRAUM und die Umbestellung wegen meiner Allergie kein Problem. Das Schnitzel mit Paprikasoße einfach perfekt. Der Service aufmerksam und schnell. Das Ambiente draußen toll, mit Decken und Heizstrahler. Weiter so!

Sehr freundliches Personal, angenehme Atmosphäre, man sitzt sehr schön im überdachten Biergarten und -ganz wichtig- das Essen war wirklich lecker. Wenn die Salate als Hauptspeise noch etwas größer ausfallen -die Beilagensalate sind top- gibt es den fehlenden Stern auch noch 🙂.
