We were there for lunch on a Sunday and had pumpkin soup from the seasonal menu, which was very tasty.

The service was really great. Super nice waitresses. The main course was rather mediocre but the quark balls and the pancakes were very tasty.

Had the roulade there. All I can say is that it was absolutely cruel. The worst roulade I've ever tried. Lukewarm and only tasted like old rancid pork fat, as there was no tasty smoked belly to be found inside, just a big old piece of pork rind. Again, never again! It's a shame about the beautiful cellar and the view, but with the quality of the food like this we'd rather go somewhere else.

It is without a doubt the most beautiful beer garden in Bonn and I used to go here quite often, despite the high prices back then. Since the price of the 0.5 beer has risen to over €6 and the food portions have become smaller and smaller, I've lost a bit of interest. The competitors can do this for €4.90, with table service and rent for a guest room, etc. You would expect a lower price for self-service and exclusively outdoor dining. In any case, €6.20 is too much. I still come occasionally, but the unpleasant feeling remains that someone here just wants to make money...

Very nice beer garden with a view of the Main.

We arrived at the dairy this afternoon with 16 cyclists and were warmly welcomed. The service took great care of us, even though it's actually self-service. We ate and drank deliciously. The beer garden burger was great! Unfortunately we were too full for the very good looking cake. We'll be back! P.S. There is a charging station for e-bikes.

Wir kommen seit Jahren gerne zur Burg. Aussicht super schön und Essen in Ordnung. Aber heute war der Handkäse unterdurchschnittlich. Er kam in einer Miniportion daher, zäh wie Kaugummi und geschmacksneutral. Ich kann die schlechten Bewertungen nachvollziehen, der Pächter sollte aufpassen : Eine schöne Aussicht ist nicht alles...

It is not permitted to bring and consume your own food and drinks in any restaurant. Then the restaurant may soon close its business due to disrespectful guests. And unfortunately, a great place and meeting point for many respectful guests would then be ruined.
