We ate there in the beer garden today on September 5th, 2024. In my defense, we were there about 7 years ago. The first impression is pensioners without end. Which is not a negative point because the waiters were very friendly. The menu was clear and mostly pork. We ordered steak gratinated twice, once as a side dish with salad and once as a side dish of mixed vegetables, both with fried potatoes. Of course, the vegetables were sweet and sour without being blanched right out of the bag. The fried potatoes convention. Bacon and onions were fried beforehand and added afterwards. The cheese for baking seemed like it was a processed cheese from the supermarket. The craziest thing was that Ragout Fang was from a can. After asking the waiter, he even denied that it was canned meat or overcooked chicken and claimed it was pork 😁 so sorry, of course you can eat better for 16 euros per person. But please not under these conditions. The salad dressing tasted like it came from the bottle. Unfortunately I can't recommend it any further. Nevertheless, the waitress remained friendly and always had a fresh saying on her tongue.

Food and service were okay, price for 6 people €158.50! Unfortunately, what we didn't like so much were the seating options with outdoor lighting! Chairs and tables old and worn...also incredibly uncomfortable! What we were also missing were the details...e.g. a tablecloth...decent seat cushions...enough beer mats for the glasses...just a little more attention to detail! Thank you for letting us visit you.

Wednesday is schnitzel day and a full house! In the early evening you could still choose between two free tables, so it's better to reserve in advance. Of course, schnitzel should be eaten. The drink order was taken quickly and friendly and delivered. They were asked about their choice of food. The choice fell on the schnitzel with fries. After about 10 minutes the food was on the table. Probably schnitzels will be well prepared. Two schnitzels with a piece of lemon, about 15 fries and ketchup were served per plate. The breading of the schnitzel could have been crispier. The taste and thickness of the meat was very good, it was tender. 15 fries are maybe 30 grams, maybe a little small. But for 8.99 euros I think it's okay. The fries were very hot and crispy. This offer promises equally good things for other days. Just try it once!

Very good and inexpensive home cooking, nice service. Beer garden a bit noisy because of the street, but that can't be helped.

We were there on Wednesday for Schnitzel Day. For €8.99 you get two schnitzels with fries 🍟. The schnitzel was of good quality and the fries tasted good too. In my opinion, a small salad was still missing and it could easily cost 1-2€ more. The waitresses were very friendly and often asked whether everything was OK and whether there were any further requests.

If you're looking for a cozy, quaint little pub, this is the place for you. The food is delicious, the service is always friendly. It's a great place to linger and end the evening. This is also the right place for family celebrations. We always enjoy going here.

A cozy beer garden where you can get a shady lunch spot even in the heat. The service was extremely friendly, food and drinks came quickly and all tasted delicious! Thumbs up - highly recommended! (Quark cheese, tomato soup, salad with cheese wedges, mushroom ragout)

Very good home cooking and fast service. The range of food and drinks is very diverse. There is also a separate room for undisturbed parties. The buses stop right outside, but it is not suitable for wheelchairs.

We were looking forward to German, home-style cooking, like it always used to be, but we were really disappointed. Everything happened very quickly, potatoes were so white and unseasoned, very watery, tongue looked like it had been in water for three days and was sticky , dumplings were very small and the sauce was a ready-made sauce. Everything was prepared without love. Ok, lack of staff, but that's not how you keep customers, even if the prices are cheap. Plus point, the service is very friendly.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the food. I was really looking forward to the beef tongue with asparagus that I ordered. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The tongue was tough, I could only cut it with great difficulty and therefore only with great effort could I eat. As well The 3 pieces of tongue still had the skin on. This should be removed before preparation. The asparagus tasted watery and unseasoned. Overall, this meal was a disaster. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Bridget

We ordered because there were 12 of us. Without reservation can lead to problem. We were at the restaurant on time. A friendly waitress was there immediately. The order went through. The menu was appalling. No price increases, how does that work? Delicious food. Good wine. Good choice. If you visit this restaurant you can't go wrong. Nice, rustic restaurant, quietly located with attentive service. Waiting in a group here, had different dishes. Unfortunately, in the dishes that included boiled potatoes as a side dish, the potatoes were not fully cooked. The quantity of meat could have been larger than fire meat. Overall the food was good. Would come here again to eat. It's a shame that Saxony is advertised as regional and there are mainly Bavarian beers on the menu. In any case, the service was great, there were two large groups there, but the food came almost at the same time and you didn't have to wait long for new drinks.

We've eaten there very often. We know that you shouldn't be very hungry with these portions. But looking back at the Christmas card, after thinking about it for a long time, I can't resist writing a review. There were three of us. Two people - including me - had a dish of dumplings. The dumplings were tasteless, colorless and odorless industrial dumplings that were bought cheaply. I've never been served anything like this before. When we asked, they wanted to tell us that the dough was bought ready-made, but the dumplings were formed themselves. Nonsense! No two hand-formed dumplings look the same. Away from the dumplings now - I had wild goulash. Even if everything "only" came to €15.90, I expect more than 3 pieces of goulash!!! All together, i.e. 2 industrial dumplings and 3 pieces of goulash with red cabbage (which is really just penny stuff) was just a bad joke! Serve up something like that in the old federal states and you won't have any guests after 2 weeks! Getting super rich with power by serving children's portions of industrial products to guests is not honorable. We won't be coming back! Service is okay, noise level in the restaurant is unbearable.

I went to Slaughter Day with my wife in January and we can only recommend the Grunaer Casino. We really enjoy going here for dinner, of course only with a prior reservation. Spontaneous is a game of chance. Food is delicious, good service and friendly staff. Always happy. 👍👍👍👍

We had a colleague meeting in a relaxed atmosphere. The service staff was always on hand, the food was to everyone's satisfaction: very tasty, sufficient and not too expensive! We'll come back here!

This is how you imagine a rustic, cozy restaurant. There isn't a dish on the entire menu that I wouldn't order... The service (woman) is really friendly and really great. The food is very moderately priced and tastes just like mom used to eat. There is nothing to complain about here except that you should make a reservation as it is very busy. 0.5 l beer from Munich on tap (Hacker Pschorr) for under €4.50. Fantastic, we would love to come back and are already looking forward to the beer garden in the summer...

It was pretty crowded today. Probably because of the weekly action day. Nevertheless, we got seats without having reserved. Fast service, good food, friendly staff.

This restaurant is always worth a visit. It shows that you can work economically and well even without massive prices. Highly recommended for lovers of home-style cuisine.

Wir haben die GASTSTÄTTE schon oft besucht. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich, die Bedienung sehr freundlich und Preis, Leistung stimmt, trotz 19%. Wir warten auf wärmere Tge, so daß man wieder draußen sitzen kann. Also Daumen hoch!!

Gemütliche Gaststätte mit sehr freundlichem Servicepersonal. Getränkewünsche wurden schnell aufgenommen und erfüllt. Essen sehr lecker und ausreichend.

Wir haben hier zu Abend gegessen am Geburtstag meiner Mama und haben nach Karte bestellt. Den Tisch haben wir zuvor reserviert. Die Bedienungen waren freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Essen warm, lecker und reichlich. Kommen immer wieder gerne hierher.

Klassische, bürgerliche Gerichte im rustikalen Ambiente. Das Essen ist sehr gut & der Service aufmerksam. Nur die Stühle sind sehr unbequem. Hier ist die Zeit stehen geblieben und das ist gut so. Ich komme gern wieder.

Sehr freundliche Personals, gut bürgerliche Küche, keine lange Wartezeit, gut für Feierlichkeiten z.B Geburtstag o.ähnliches .Preisverhältisse sehr gut. Reservierung für Feierlichkeiten ist ratsam, weil gut belegt ist. Sonst ist immer Platz vorhanden.

Nachdem das Parkplatzproblem gelöst ist - meist schwierig einen direkt zu finden, findet man hier leckeres Essen zu einen günstigen Preis vor. Die Zubereitungszeit ist für frisch zubereitet angemessen, ob das stimmt, weiß man ja nicht wirklich (einige Sachen werden sicherlich vorbeitet/"Instant" sein. Eine Platzreservierung ist mittlerweile Pflicht.

Ein deutsches Restaurant in welchem zu einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gegessen werden kann. Zum Restaurant gehört noch ein Außenbereich/Biergarten. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf alle Fälle.

Preiswerte und gute Küche. Bei sehr gutem Wetter soll man reservieren sonst könnte es knapp werden. Habe aber bisher immer einen Platz bekommen.

Schnitzelgerichte schmecken eigentlich immer sehr gut. Feuerfleisch ist halt nicht so wie man es aus vielleicht Privat kennt, sondern mit einer Art Letscho gemacht.

Deutsche Hausmannskost vom Feinsten. Wers mag ist hier richtig.

Was für eine traditionelle Küche. Lasst es Euch schmecken. Mit Staropramen als Beilage. Was macht man noch im Casino, Karten spielen.-)

In den vergangenen Jahren waren wir immer mal wieder im Neugrunaer Casino. Bisher stimmte das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Solide Küche, fertig. Gestern war es bereits das dritte Mal in Folge eine herbe Enttäuschung: ich aß Spargel mit Schinken. Der Spargel war zerkocht, die Sauce Hollandaise aus der Packung, schmeckte nur salzig und nach Geschmacksverstärkern. Die Frechheit war jedoch der gekochte Schinken: drei Scheiben aus der bekannten runden Discounter Verpackung. Eine echte Frechheit! Wir werden das „Restaurant“ in Zukunft meiden. Schade.

Sehr gut organisierte Feier mit leckerem Essen und freundlicher Bedienung. Enttäuschend war allerdings die Leistung des DJ sehr schlechte Qualität der Musik. Die auch kaum zu hören war.

Wir waren Anfang November zum Klassentreffen im Neugrunaer Casino. Leider wurden wir in einem winzigen, kahlen und schmalen Raum platziert, obwohl es dort einen größeren gibt. Das Essen war ein Witz. Ich hatte Schnitzel mit Schinken und Käse überbacken. Das Schnitzel war winzig, der Schinken bestand aus einer halben Scheibe Lidl - Formvorderschinken und der Käse war nur leicht angeschmolzen, aber keinesfalls überbacken. Ich als Koch, würde mich schämen so etwas dem Gast zu schicken. Der Kellner war normal nett. Allerdings nur bis zu dem Zeitpunkt als der Zeiger 22 Uhr anzeigte. Da ist nämlich dort ohne Wenn und Aber plötzlich Schluss mit Gastlichkeit. Selbst nach geradezu flehenden Worten wurde uns ein Abschlussgetränk nach 22 Uhr verweigert, obwohl der Kellner sich zu dem zuvor schon beim Abkassieren üppigen Trinkgeld von jeder der 20 Personen die wir waren noch einmal Trinkgeld hätte verdienen können. Stattdessen wurden wir in kürzester Zeit rauskomplimentiert. So einen Rausschmiss hab ich bis dahin noch nirgendwo erlebt. Also nichts gelernt aus der Pandemie. Den Wirtsleuten scheint es an Geld nicht zu mangeln. Na vielleicht kommt es ja noch mal zu einer Pandemie. Da könnte es passieren, dass sich die Inhaber wünschten, anders mit zahlenden Gästen umgegangen worden zu sein.... Fazit : Leute, geht woanders hin. Da wo der Gast noch als Gast und nicht als störendes ETWAS behandelt wird.
