Unfassbare Location mit Blick über Dresden oberhalb der Elbe. Dem Ambiente Tischdecken gut und Stoffservietten. Dann wäre es high end! Essen super lecker und reichlich. Service freundlich, aber etwas träge. Restaurant war nicht besetzt, wenn es voll besetzt gewesen wäre, wär es, glaube ich schwierig geworden…

Durch das herausragend freundliche Personal war der Abend ein Highlight. Vielen Dank.

Super gelegener Biergarten mit deftigen Preisen.

Tolle Lage, schönes Ambiente. Aber leider waren beide Gerichte lauwarm, die Tagliatelle völlig zerkocht und geschmacklos. Auch der "krosse Lachs" inkl. "glasierte rote Beete und cremigem Erbsenpüree" erwies sich als völliger Reinfall. Das hat einfach nach nichts geschmeckt - und kross war da gar nichts.

Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht ganz. Hatten Tagiatelle für 21€ von der Portionsgröße her aber nur eine Vorspeise, sind nicht satt geworden, des weiteren fehlte bei allen Essen auch die Würze. Man hat einen fantastischen Blick auf die Elbe/Elbterassen aber für das Essen werden wir definitiv nicht mehr kommen.

Wir waren Gast bei einer privaten Feier. Leider machten die Servicekräfte einen sehr "planlosen" und überforderten Eindruck. So wurden Getränke teilweise wiederholt vergessen, kamen sehr spät usw.. Das Buffet war gut, leider haben wir uns aufgrund des Namens mehr erhofft. Schade.

Reservierung glatte Pleite. 10 Tage vorher reserviert (4 Plätze) für Do. Mittagessen und bestätigt. 1 Tag vor dem Termin noch eine Erinnerung erhalten. Als wir mit unseren Gästen dann eintrafen wusste vom Personal keiner Bescheid; "wir wenig verstehen, haben heute eine geschlossene Gruppe" ... die Bestellerinnerung war also ein ausgesprochener Witz. Da hat offensichtlich niemand den Hut auf!!!

Enttäuscht! Bei Sonne draußen sehr schön, nicht alle Plätze belegt. ,"Haben sie Geduld, sie werden platziert", oder so ähnlich stand auf dem Schild.Zwei Kellner gingen mehrfach an mir vorbei, ich wurde ignoriert 🙄Also selber angesprochen, dann freundliche Platzierung und auch schnelle Nachfrage. Ich wollte gerne Hühnerfrikassee mit Reiskroketten, letzteres war aus.Kulinarisch fragwürdig das Angebot, ich könne Pommes oder Kartoffelsalat dazu haben🤔Ich entschied mich für die Spargelcremsuppe. Es dauerte nicht lange, sie war sehr hübsch angerichtet und geschmacklich i.O. Allerdings war für 9.50 Euro der tiefe Teller nur halb voll und von einer " Creme" Suppe weit entfernt. Da sie gut nach frischem Spargel schmeckte , habe ich sie trotzdem gegessen. Ich zeigte dem Kellner noch, wie die zwar weiße, aber dünne Spargelbrühe vom Löffel rann. Er meinte nur, er werde es in der Küche sagen. Keine Entschuldigung, kein Preisnachlass, keine kleine Aufmerksamkeit für mich als unzufriedenen Gast.Schade. Die tolle Aussicht und die ☀️haben es erträglich gemacht.Das nächste Mal gehe ich vorne zum Imbiss.

Oster-Brunch 2026 - eine Katastrophe Wir hatten uns für den Osterbrunch am Ostersonntag rechtzeitig angemeldet und uns drauf gefreut. Für 49 Euro sollte da ja Einiges zu erwarten sein. LOCATION: Wir kamen am Lingnerschloss an: wunderschön gelegen mit Blick auf das Elbtal, sonniger Tag. Punkt 10 Uhr sind wir in das Restaurant gekommen, der Eingangsbereich schien neu zu sein. Anmeldung und dann wurden wir in einen anderen Raum geführt, in dem der Brunch statt fand: OHNE WORTE! Die Decke war zum Teil noch in der Renovierung, Wände noch nicht verkleidet, der Fußboden mit Schutzbelag ausgefüllt. Auf dem Tisch stand ein Aufsteller aus Plastik mit Namen und den Speisen, kaputt. ESSEN: schlecht bis durchschnittlich... alles lieblos hingerichtet am Buffet, Butter nicht mal annähernd für alle Gäste da, Kaffee aus Thermosbehältern (nicht mal ein Kaffee Automat), die versprochene Live Eier Station blieb auch aus, auf die Nachfrage nach Rührei wurde nur gesagt vom Personal "Da heult gleich einer"... Und das obwohl der Gast und andere Gäste daneben standen. Die Bedienung kam mit einer Wurstplatte und nahm die restliche Wurst von der fast leeren Platte und legte diese auf die neue Platte drauf. Sowas macht man in der Küche aber nicht vor allen Leuten. Aufbackbrötchen, ganze 2 !!!!! Sorten Marmelade, Honig aus Plasteschälchen. Und hinter dem Buffet lagen elektrische Verlängerungen wirr in der Gegend rum, Ordnung ist ein Fremdwort. Das Mittagessen, ganze 2 !!! Sorten Fleisch bzw Fisch als Auswahl... Wild und Fisch, das war es... sonst nur Beilagen... mehr nicht. Wasser und Kaffee durfte man sich selber aus der Thermosbehätern holen... diese waren "liebevoll" auf Aperol Spritz Kisten drapiert... Und die Bedienungen: viele "Anfänger". Suchten ewig die Tische bzw Tischnummern... dann wurde man auch mal gebeten, die Teller gleich zusammen zu stellen... sowas geht nicht... Als Dessert: 1 !!!!! große Schüssel mit irgendwelcher Pampe und trockene Osterlämmer & Rüblikuchen. Jegliche Beschriftungen an den Speisen fehlte sowieso... TOILETTEN: Unsauber, selbst um 10:30 keine Papierhandtücher aufgefüllt. Nach der Bitte um Nachlegen selbst nach 2 Stunden nichts in Sicht. Wir haben echt gedacht, für den Preis und das Ambiente wird es TOP... jedoch war es ein FLOP! Und im Übrigen: wir waren nicht die Einzigen, die so dachten... als wir gegangen sind, haben sich andere auch mit beschwert,dass dieser Brunch schrecklich war. Ein Gutschein oder Geld zurück wurde auch nicht angeboten... wahrscheinlich reicht diese Art von Bewirtung den Bewirtenden aus. GUTER SERVICE/AMBIENTE & STIL SIEHT ANDERS AUS!

Das Ambiente ist ein Traum. Hervorzuheben ist das besonders höfliche, angenehme Personal. Ich war gestern vor Ort und das professionelle Auftreten der Kellner und Kellnerinnen ist mir sofort aufgefallen.

Über 30 Minuten Wartezeit eigentlich zu viel für einen SB-Imbiss. Aussicht und Angebot waren dann aber Entschädigung genug.

Leider nicht zu empfehlen Service Personal total überfordert trotz Reservierung und Beschwerde hat es anderthalb Stunden gedauert bis das letzte Getränk da war und zwei einhalb Stunden bis alle ihr Essen hatten, Preise wie vier Sterne auch die Portionen aber nicht die Qualität. Bei unserem Besuch gab es auch nur eine Sonderkarte mit vier Hauptgerichten und eine Kinderkarte die Anklang gefunden hat.

Die Gerichte entsprechen weder dem Preis, noch der Location. Der Tafelspitz ist hier eine reduzierte Portion mit Brühe, Besteck auf Nachfrage. Das Hühnerfrikassee enttäuscht ebenfalls, auch die Beilage. Schade, bei der Location hatten wir andere Erwartungen. Und die Gerichte mit ausschließlich Kartoffel-Gurken-Salat sind sehr einfach gehalten.

Ich hatte dort eine Familienfeier organisiert, die lange im Voraus geplant war, und sie endete in einem totalen Desaster. Das Menü stand fest, ebenso unsere Ankunfts- und Mittagszeit. Die Küche ließ mit dem Essen über zwei Stunden auf sich warten! Es war so peinlich. Meine Gäste waren am Verhungern. Ich wusste nicht, was ich sagen sollte. Das Personal wich Konfrontationen aus und mied unsere Tische. Die Erklärung war, dass das Restaurant ausgebucht sei. Ich glaube, die Küche hatte unsere Reservierungen einfach vergessen. Sie kümmerten sich lieber um die Leute im Garten, anstatt ihre Versprechen zu halten und unsere Familienfeier zu bewirten. Sie haben uns diesen besonderen Tag verdorben! Absolut unzuverlässig. Und als das Essen dann endlich serviert wurde, war die Suppe wässrig und der Spargel völlig roh.

Drinnen wie draußen kann man wunderbar sitzen und genießen. Essen und Trinken lassen keine Wünsche offen. Wir waren nur zu zweit. Wenn man mit mehr Leuten kommt sollte man vielleicht besser reservieren. Vorallem am Wochenende.

Wir waren nach einem Wandertag noch einen Sundowner auf der Terrasse genießen. Ein wunderschöner Ausblick über die Elbwiesen und Dresden, der Schmandkuchen war einfach super lecker und das Personal ganz bezaubernd freundlich - ungeachtet dessen, dass wir gerade nicht "in Schale" geworfen waren, weil dieser Besuch umgeplant war. Ganz gemütliche Sitzplätze und Decken für draußen, ich habe mich gefühlt wie in einem kleinen Urlaub.

13.03.26 Ich war am Vormittag in den Schlossgärten spazieren und hab an der Lingnerterasse eine Pause eingelegt. Obwohl noch es noch nicht geöffnet war, war es möglich eine Tasse Kaffee in der Frühlingssonne zu genießen. Vielen Dank an das sehr zuvorkommende Personal.

Sehr geehrter Herr Howanski, am 21.02.2026 war ich mit insgesamt 3 Personen Gast Ihres Hauses. Im Anhang finden Sie Fotos, wie wir die Tische und die Eindeckung vorgefunden haben. Kurz gesprochen; für ein Haus Ihrer Kategorie ist dieser Zustand mehr als ein Armutszeugnis, noch dazu, wenn so etwas dann Ihren Gästen angeboten wird. Selbst der angebotene Tischtausch durch den uns bedienenden Kellner brachte keine Veränderung, da auch diese Tische rundherum beschädigt waren. Das hier eine erhebliche Verletzungsgefahr, bzw. Beschädigung der Kleidung der Gäste besteht, steht wohl außer Frage. Des Weiteren war auf Grund von offensichtlichem Personalmangel der Service unterirdisch. Ein „Kellner“ war eine ungelernte Kraft, welcher in keinster Weise über gastronomisches Wissen verfügte. Mein Latte Macchiato brachte er mir das Glas von oben mit den Fingern anfassend und stellte dieses Glas, so wie es war, einfach auf den Tisch - kein Teller, kein Löffel, kein Zucker - nichts war dabei. Ebenso vergingen ca. 30 min., bis die Getränke serviert wurden. Zur Küche muss man sagen, dass der Koch sein Bestes gab und das Essen auch schmackhaft war. Ein Gespräch mit dem Kellner, welcher auch die Abrechnung machte (ich habe hier leider keinen Namen, kann aber sagen, dass er Rastalocken trug), ergab, dass dieser zwar versuchte alles ihm Mögliche zu tun, aber mit den beiden Hilfskräften, die ihm zur Verfügung standen, die Hauptlast im Service einzig und allein auf ihm lag und er somit in keinster Weise in der Lage war das Restaurant gemäß dessen Ansprüchen, welches dieses nach außen hin vertreten möchte, gerecht zu werden. Er teilte uns dann in einem vertraulichen Gespräch mit, dass die eine Servicekraft eine völlig ungelernte Aushilfe sei und man diesem jeden Handgriff erklären müsste, selbst das Befüllen von Gläsern, oder das Herstellen von Heißgetränken wie z. B. meinen Latte Macchiato, etc. Das Urteil durch „unseren Kellner“ für den zweiten Keller fiel auch nicht sehr positiv aus. Mir teilte er mit, dass dieser in keinster Weise über Fähigkeiten zum Mixen von Cocktails verfügte und diese Tätigkeiten auch von ihm übernommen werden müssten. Schlussendlich musste er sich selbst um die Bestellaufnahme und Abrechnung bei den Gästen kümmern. Das dieses Konzept so nicht aufgehen kann, ist verständlich. Ich würde Sie bitten, mir zu diesem mangelhaften Zustand ein Statement zu übermitteln und eine Aussage zu treffen, wie Sie den Service in Zukunft bei Weitem verbessern möchten. Bis zur Rückmeldung durch Ihr Haus, bzw. der Abstellung der Mängel, sehe ich mich auf jeden Fall außer Stande, Ihr Haus wieder aufzusuchen, oder irgendeine Empfehlung in meinem Unternehmerkreis für Ihr Haus auszusprechen. Die Geburtstagsfeier geriet zu einer einzigen Enttäuschung. Eine Stunde warten bis zum ersten Getränk. Vorspeise vergessen, haben wir noch mit Humor genommen. Das das Rinderfilet für knapp 40 Euro dann statt Medium noch Rare, zäh und mit Sehnen durchsetzt war, haben wir die letzten Jahre auch noch nirgends erlebt. Service war auch unterdurchschnittlich. Es fehlt ständig Besteck und eine Getränkebestellung war auch ein reiner Glücksfall. Aus dieser schönen Location kann man deutlich mehr daraus machen.

Wir waren zum Abendessen da und sind sehr begeistert, schöne Atmosphäre, nicht zu nobel, aber durch das tolle Ambiente auch nicht zu legere und super freundliche Kellner! Der eine hatte seinen ersten Tag und war sehr sympathisch mit guter Bedienung schmeckt das Essen doch gleich doppelt so gut! :-)

Die Speisen aus der kleinen Karte sind gut. Meist fehlt das I-Tüpfelchen um sehr gut zu sein. Das Personal ist freundlich, manchmal fehlt es an etwas Aufmerksamkeit. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr schön gestaltet und die Aussicht ist unschlagbar. Die Tische wirken etwas kahl.

Lecker und eine herzliche Aussicht! Was möchte man mehr! Sehr empfehlenswert.

Das Erlebnis, traditionelle Speisen zu probieren, war wunderbar; es hätte jedoch etwas mehr Garnierung und Kartoffeln vertragen können...

Wir waren als Team zur Weihnachtsfeier am 12.12.2025 dort. Leider hat das Essen und der Service nicht gepasst. Auf jeden Gang haben wir 1 Stunde warten müssen. Das Essen war übersichtlich und hat nicht dem Preis entsprochen. Es ist eine schöne Location und die Führung im Lingnerschloss war fantastisch!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Schloss Café ☕️ in Dresden is simply beautifully situated! 🌟 The Albrechtburg public transport stop is just a short walk away, making it very convenient to visit. 🚍 Especially during the Christmas season 🎄🎅🎄, the café is a romantic spot. The Christmas market on the terrace creates a magical atmosphere, and the fantastic view of the city is simply breathtaking! 🎄🏰✨ I enjoyed a cappuccino and a slice of cake there, which perfectly rounded off the day. ☕🍰 A true delight! I highly recommend this café and am already looking forward to my next visit! 🤗

Delicious food and friendly staff. Everything was noticeably freshly prepared and tasted fantastic. Especially lovely at Christmastime with the little Christmas market on the terraces.

We've been there twice now. Once in the summer and again for the "Winter Magic" event. The grounds are beautiful and the view is magnificent, but the food and drink are a disaster. Everything feels completely neglected. The service is sometimes abysmal, and you can tell they don't really want to be there. The Winter Magic event is an outrage. Five overpriced food and drink stalls with only English-speaking staff, who clearly have no clue what they're doing. That was definitely the last time we'll be up there. What a rip-off! Those guys should be kicked out of the castle...

Unfortunately, we can only write this review if we first give it one star. Despite having a reservation through OpenTable for 6 pm, we arrived at the restaurant yesterday at 5:45 pm and were told that the kitchen was closed and the restaurant was now closing. Absolutely disappointing and embarrassing in front of our guests from Trier!

We were here in October. The view over Dresden from the terrace was beautiful. The interior is spacious. The service was very good, and so was the food. It was even cheaper than we expected! One star deducted for the really poor lighting in the parking lot at night (a flashlight is recommended!) and the cobwebs in the restrooms. But that's really nitpicking!

Always worth a visit. We strolled through the park and treated ourselves to a small drink while enjoying the fantastic view.

The food was good, the staff very friendly, and the location was special.

Friendly waiters and amazing view on a sunny day! Price was not high, and very interesting that we got two slices of cake for each order. I am not sure whether it was standrad there or just because we went late in the afternoon.

The view is amazing, but the service today was unbelievably slow and frankly, just incompetent. It took 35 min to serve beer and wine, yes they were friendly and smiling but it took soooo long it was painful. Of courE no „sorry we are really trying“. And of course the beer was literally half full…I am sad because I really love the place but theE 3 stars are only for the location. Please improve, you are not a 1 stars student bar.

Disappointment! We had to wait a very long time to order our drinks, and the food wasn't filling us at all. When we read that the owner was also upset about his second home in Ullersdorf, we weren't surprised by the poor and boring service and the small portions. If you want good service and food, you should definitely look for other restaurants.

Self-service, we can handle that, very friendly owner, snack bar atmosphere, the tarte flambée was delicious and of course the view of the Elbe meadows!

The food is incredibly delicious, and the service, ambiance, and view are first-class! We'd love to go back!

We had a reservation at the restaurant – but unfortunately, even the beautiful view couldn't make up for the fact that we had to wait over an hour for a waiter. Many tables were filled with guests waiting, with empty glasses, without food, or even without a menu. Meanwhile, the waiters stood inside at the bar, seemingly idle, without a "We're sorry, but the kitchen is currently overloaded" or anything similar. We generally understand longer wait times if they are openly communicated and perhaps apologized for. But in this case, we felt simply ignored. The second waiter, who apparently wasn't responsible for our area, reacted annoyed whenever we even tried to make contact to order the first drink or food. This shouldn't happen in such a beautiful restaurant – and if problems do arise, at least a brief explanation or apology would be the least we could do. We then went to the beer garden across the street, where we were very politely served our food within a few minutes… still a shame.

We went to brunch on March 23, 2025. For such a great ambiance (a castle), the tables (without tablecloths) had more of a bistro feel. The price of €39 plus rather expensive drinks is far too high for what was offered. The rather simple items at the buffet took forever to refill, or, like dessert, didn't come at all. The taste was also very disappointing. For example, fresh fruit and vegetables, spices, and a wider selection of cheeses were missing. The hot portion was absolutely bland, and the food was more reminiscent of a bad cafeteria. Dessert also offered only two different options, which were unfortunately poorly prepared. I definitely cannot recommend the brunch, which is a shame, because the view is wonderful.

Fantastic ambience. Food was good. Two waiters were very, very friendly, except for one. No one came to our table for a long time; we wanted dessert, so I had to call out "Excuse me" from a short distance away. How else would I have gotten any attention? No one even looked at us. This waiter was absolutely rude and grumbled and gesticulated in an annoyed manner, so much so that even the other guests looked annoyed. Completely contrary to the lovely ambiance. When we paid, he remained very irritated, so we'll never come back. It's a shame for the others who were friendly and apologized for him. At first, we thought, oh, we'll have to come back here...but now, unfortunately, that's over! A "Wait, I'll be right there" (my own experience in the restaurant industry) and everything would have been fine.

One of the best views of Dresden and the Elbe River. The ladies at the snack bar are very friendly and helpful. Plan more time and enjoy the magnificent view or a relaxing stroll through the parks of the neighboring palaces.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. The only good thing is the view. The food is too expensive for what's served. The cordon bleu was more like frozen food. The service is nice, but the wait times are far too long, even though it wasn't that busy. One also wonders why such a beautiful place like this terrace isn't maintained more.

The service was really good, leaving nothing to be desired. The food, however, wasn't worthy of a restaurant. The portions were very small, and the chicken Caesar salad simply lacked flavor. The crispy chicken was a convenience store-bought, pressed meat. The pasta with the 4!!! small shrimp and the missing fennel could easily be made at home... A real shame

We had reserved lunch for Whit Monday. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we had to eat in the restaurant. It was a very nice location with a great view. Unfortunately, we waited two hours for the food, which was very simple but expensive. Several guests left the restaurant because they weren't served. The only warm vegetable was asparagus. The espresso after the meal was cold.

We were celebrating a family event with 25 people and had ordered a buffet. Preparations started a bit late, but the service staff was very friendly and competent. The food was excellent, and we had a wonderful celebration with perfect weather and a magnificent view over Dresden.

Disappointing Easter Brunch – Unfortunately, Not Recommended We had reserved a table for 3 adults and 2 children for the Easter brunch and were very disappointed overall. For €39.50 per person, we expected much more. The breakfast buffet was extremely limited: simple rolls, honey from a single-serve package, and a limited selection of cold cuts and cheeses. Milk and oat milk for the children's cereal had to be ordered separately and paid for additionally – absolutely incomprehensible at a brunch price of this high. We hoped the lunch offerings would be more convincing, but were disappointed here too. The mushroom and bell pepper soup were mediocre. The main courses were rabbit leg and roast lamb – the legs were extremely dry, the roast lamb was good. The vegetables were bland, the potato gratin was overcooked, the "fragrant rice" was overcooked and resembled more like rice porridge, and the gnocchi were simply reheated. The desserts (panna cotta and chocolate dessert) were okay, but nothing special. We paid €250 for 3 adults and 2 children – for brunch and non-alcoholic hot and cold drinks. Three glasses of sparkling wine and two glasses of juice were included in the brunch. Unfortunately, the value for money here is not at all good. The view is beautiful, but the food was more reminiscent of a cafeteria than fine dining. We were looking forward to a festive start to Easter Monday – good food in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, the Lingnerterrassen couldn't offer either. Such a shame!

Went on a Sunday when the weather was nice. All tables were occupied or not cleared. We waited specifically for the waitress who was serving another table to ask if we could sit down. She didn't immediately say she would ask her boss and left us there. After we watched how she didn't ask anyone for the next 10 minutes, didn't clear tables, just handed out cakes, we went to the restaurant opposite. If you say we have no capacity or the events are already too many and we are understaffed, these are all understandable reasons. But being lied to is very inappropriate.

We were there on the weekend, it was quite busy but the service was attentive and friendly. We had very tasty pasta and Wiener Schnitzel for lunch and then tried some really good cake. A clear recommendation for the egg pie and the carrot cake. We'll be back

Waiting time for food 2 hours, waiting time for drinks 45 minutes. Schnitzel with potatoes and asparagus and hollandaise sauce for €30: the schnitzel was good, the asparagus was cold and not soft and the hollandaise sauce was also cold and very thin and tasted like almost nothing. It was almost empty and we had reserved as a company and still had to wait so long. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately long waiting time, I sat at the table for about 2 hours from arriving at the restaurant until eating. Food was okay but for the price you would expect warm plates/food. Unfortunately the dining room was very cold.

We got to the restaurant a little late on time and then had to be patient. 15 minutes until the first water was at the table, 20 minutes later we could order drinks. After another 20 minutes they finally arrived and we were able to place our food order. Due to the waiting time so far, we skipped starters and dessert and only ordered main meals. These lasted another hour and one meal was completely forgotten. In total we spent 2.5 hours and the follow-up appointment could not be kept on time. The quality of the food was mixed, sometimes only lukewarm, the asparagus was sometimes woody. Price-performance wasn't right, the service was friendly during his sporadic visits.

We visited all three castles with the beautiful gardens on a beautiful spring day, the wide view was simply wonderful and you can also find a quiet, cozy place with many visitors. I can only recommend a snack for normal and upscale people. I can only recommend the castle 🏰 Eckbert was the beautiful and mysterious one for us 👍 let's go

Unfortunately we weren't served and the table wasn't cleared either. After waiting for some time we left again.

This place could so easily get a 5 star, however the staff made us feel like we were annoying them. It’s also very pricey, for two cups of coffee and two pieces of cake we paid 20€. The coffee was 12€ yep let that sink in, for filter coffee. We also went at the end of breakfast and it was so windy and rainy, they wouldn’t let us sit inside. It’s little things like that, for paying customers that I just can’t understand. Like be more accommodating. The cake is amazing ! The flamkuchen was also great, along with a salad and potato soup. The interior isn’t the most comfortable, but wow what a beautiful view you get. So if I stayed at the hotel next door again, I would return. Otherwise, probably not.

We called in advance to see if there was a vegan selection for brunch. Unfortunately, despite the promise during the phone call, there were no vegan dishes except for fruit and vegetables. The price-performance ratio is therefore very unbalanced. Definitely not recommended for vegans. Unfortunately, the friendly service often took a long time until drinks were delivered. Ambience very nice. Unfortunately the food was unsuccessful.

Got there via Groupon. Very nice atmosphere at the Ligner Castle near the Albrechtsburg. Service was very good, as was the main course. However, the creme brulee was just a “mass” with caramelized sugar pieces in the mixture. The “banana dessert” was okay. The toilets in the restaurant itself didn't work and you had to/could use the ones in the Lignerschloss. All in all, a nice evening with deductions.

It used to be run as a noble restaurant due to the beautiful rooms. Nowadays they don't even cover anything when making a reservation and the menu has a very small selection. When we asked, we were told that the Lingnerterrassen was run as a bistro. We thought it was a strange idea in such a wonderful place. It was also cool in the large room. For us it only comes into question as a beer garden/for a coffee.

A very nice welcome was followed by very good service. The drinks were cleverly created and deliciously refreshing. It's worth taking a look at the wine list - maybe a Kretschko would also be suitable here ;-) For each dish, we chose variants with chanterelles and were completely impressed. The view and the ambience invite you to linger. There were two of us and we would love to come back...

We were here for brunch. The price of €39 plus quite expensive drinks is too much for what is on offer. Filling up the rather small quantities at the buffet took forever or, as with dessert, didn't happen at all. There was nothing special in terms of taste either. For example, we were missing fresh fruit or vegetables and a wider selection of cheese. Even for dessert there were only two different things. I definitely can't recommend the brunch.

Wir waren zur Silvesterfeier 2024 mit unseren Freunden. Das 5 - Gängemenü war ausgezeichnet und es blieb kein Wunsch offen! Die musikalische Untermalung während des Menüs war unterhaltsam und sehr angenehm. Ein Lob dem aufmerksamen und flinken Servicepersonal. Ein tolles Begrüßungsgetränk und eine schöne Tischdekoration rundeten alles ab. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten den Jahreswechsel gemeinsam in einer tollen Atmosphäre begehen. Vielen Dank! Wir kommen gern wieder.

A fantastic view from the "Bau Wunder" over the Elbe valley to historic Dresden.

Great ambience... BUT what borders on intentional bodily harm is when I explicitly ask when ordering whether the dish I want is free of nuts or something similar, this is confirmed, an allergic reaction occurs quite quickly when I eat it, and I ask in the kitchen and she claims not to have used any nuts or anything nut-like, I take the leftovers with me and then find pistachios in them, there is very little room for interpretation. For me it's definitely never again!

The only complaint about the brunch was that the refills were poor. Also: duck, lamb and fish are not for everyone, a “neutral” dish like chicken was missing.

Went there for brunch today, the food wasn't good enough for the money. It wasn't bad, but not really good either. It took a long time to get everything ready and supplies were slow. But the ambience (including the view) and the staff were top notch. So I wouldn't come back for brunch.

I was there for an event. The location is very nice, especially the view over the city. Unfortunately, the room itself wasn't very comfortable. Renovation work was probably taking place, which had not yet been fully completed. So it looked unfinished which spoiled the ambience. It was also very cold. In the large, light-flooded room there were only small radiators, which did not manage to warm the room. That was a shame. In the restaurant area, however, it was significantly warmer. The employees were nice and accommodating and the food was good too.

Very nice atmosphere and when the weather is good it offers a panoramic view of Dresden.

On Sunday lunchtime/afternoon we were guests at the Lingner Castle. It was a very nice stay and the gastronomy is impressive. The food and drink was great and the service was very friendly and accommodating. We would be happy to come back.

Stumbled across this so stopped for an afternoon tea under the parasols on a hot day. It is a little on the pricey side but the cakes were tasty and the view from the terrace overlooking the Elbe meadows and river spectacular. Given its location and it being a weekend, it was quieter than expected. Service was quick and unobtrusive - a fine find.

One of the most beautiful places in Dresden, wonderful view over the Elbe valley and the city of Dresden. On the other hand, the restaurant is not an adornment for the place, careless service, long waiting times and staff that mainly entertain themselves. A pity. Not again.

You certainly can't go wrong when it comes to food, we would always recommend taking a look at the menu in advance as there are changing weekly menus. The food was good, but we simply expected more due to the location and the somewhat high prices. The service was top and we have no complaints here. Regarding the ambience, we were very disappointed here. Yes, the location, the view and the castle are beautiful. If you ignore this and concentrate on the ambience of the restaurant, you unfortunately have to realize that it is not harmonious and that everything is a bit old - be it furniture or dishes. In short: you can't go wrong eating here, especially in the outdoor area. But if you're looking for something special, you'll probably be a little disappointed here - depending on your expectations.

Great location with a very good view. However, that was it. Despite reservations, everything took an infinitely long time. The starter was served quickly, but the main course wasn't served until over an hour later. If you accept a reservation for two parties and guests in the garden, you should plan the service accordingly. In the end, food was served about 1.5 hours after ordering. It's shocking that this coincides with the other reviews here, as it has obviously been going on for a long time. The prices are excessive for the quality and service provided. Just because it's a castle? The service should match the price. The association that is renovating the castle is doing a great job. But an expensive restaurant is exactly not what Lingner had in mind. I cannot recommend this for a planned celebration. Maybe for a stopover in the beer garden, because it's a nice spot at the end and drinks and food are also available at the snack bar.

When visibility is good you can see the Eastern Ore Mountains ridge. On the city anyway. The ambience is great, the staff is very nice, no one can help the limited kitchen, but it still tasted very good.

Allein wegen der Anlage lohnt sich schon der Besuch. Gemütlich im Café ein sehr leckeres Stück Kuchen essen oder im Biergarten die Aussicht geniessen. Toller Ausblick auf die Stadt. Wir sind während der Fahrt mit dem Hop-on-hop-off Bus anders dortigen Haltestelle spontan ausgestiegen und waren eine ganze Weile dort. Die Außenfassade könnte ein bisschen Pflege vertragen, aber das stört dem Gesamtbild nicht.

We ate a tartare accompanied by three (3) pieces of cold bread and a salad. We didn’t receive any condiment, and even after asking we did not receive oil, as that’s not provided even upon request. The waiter’s tone discouraged us to ask about garlic or butter for the bread. Luckily, the location was great, but we won’t return.

Everything was perfect here, even the weather was good. Highly recommend the cakes in the restaurant.
