Overpriced moved outs. I was really looking forward to the beer garden, poor service. Because the season is ending. OK?! Then, to top it off, I had to wait an extremely long time at the checkout until I had drunk my drink. And for what the undressed person threw the plate at me for 6 euros. Disappointed 2 times from 2 visits

Waited for a quarter of an hour directly in front of the bar, two people at a time. Five behind the counter. Thanks. No. Are further…..

Food wasn't that good, everything was warmed up quickly. Service was also very slow. A lady has to serve all the tables so she will come back later. She has time for the local grandpas but no time for strangers. It's a shame, it's a nice location.

Heads up, must make a reservation. Which is challenging for me, as someone who isn't fluent in german . Which is why i checked their website before we set off on our bike ride. We biked out to this restaurant with our kids, who were really looking forward to having a family meal together there, but we were told by an unfriendly host that we couldn't get a table - we would have been happy with a drink menu, outside on their patio but the restaurant was practically empty, it was 4pm on a saturday- very disappointing for our family, my young son started to cry from disappointment- very embarrassing to be turned away from a restaurant. We have family visiting next month and had planned to bring our extended family there, but this was not a good experience.

Perfect fillet steak! Everyone else in our family of 12 was thrilled too!

Good food, nice and fast service, fair prices, just a bit cold in terms of the decor.

Great beer garden, great location - we were here to celebrate a wedding with very dear friends and enjoyed it from A to Z. Rustic, beautiful ambience, very tasty food and super friendly people who run the shop with a lot of passion and professionalism - happy to come again at any time!

Unfortunately very disappointing. As we waited for takeaway food, the burgers that were delivered to the tables looked pretty darn good. The burger we unpacked at home was much more reminiscent of one from a large fast food chain, both visually and in terms of taste. Way too expensive for what we got.

We were here on a weekday afternoon. I would have liked to drink a non-alcoholic shandy. Unfortunately there was no non-alcoholic beer ("we don't have it there"). The choice then fell on a sports drink but only because there was no alternative in the area. Very unfortunate. The prices are already decent. Otherwise, of course, you sit wonderfully. The view over the Rhine and Rolandseck is unbeatable. I'm looking forward to the work on the restaurant's old location, which will hopefully begin soon, and I hope it goes well.

It's a shame that the Waldhaus is closing!

Cared for with warmth and hospitality, you can only feel comfortable here. A fantastic, friendly, cozy and tidy place with surprisingly loving details! We would like to go back to Wallerei immediately!
