Excellent Greek restaurant - delicious, great atmosphere, reasonable prices. We go there often.

The Bootshaus Marbach is a beautiful location directly on the Neckar with a relaxed atmosphere. The food is fresh and delicious. We were very impressed by the quality. The staff is friendly and attentive, even when it's busier. we'd love to come back!

Ester bike trip in March 2025. Great weather and crowds of people wanting to enjoy the great weather. A huge queue at the checkout. We wanted to leave again, but then we waited. We were at the checkout in no time and were able to place our order. As soon as we paid by card, the drinks were there. We ordered different food, salad and steak. All the food was ready at the same time and could be picked up (beer garden). We enjoyed all of the meals very much and were beautifully presented and adequate in quantity. We would come back at any time...

Idyllically located directly on the Neckar. Great food and good organization with the buzzers. Then you don't stand unnecessarily at the food counter. Quality and quantity is great. We'll be back.

The drinks menu offers everything you would expect in a beer garden - including well-chilled beer. The service is friendly and attentive, even when it's busy. For me, Bootshaus Marbach is the best restaurant I have visited so far! The idyllic location directly on the Neckar creates a wonderful atmosphere in which you can relax perfectly. The food was simply fantastic – fresh, tasteful and prepared with love. I was particularly impressed by the Greek specialties such as gyros and souvlaki. The portions were generous and every bite was a delight. The service was also great! The staff was friendly, attentive and really cared about the guests' well-being. Despite the restaurant being busy, everything ran smoothly. Whether for a cozy meal with friends or a relaxing afternoon by the water – the Bootshaus Marbach is absolute number one for me. Bootshaus Marbach – Greek enjoyment directly on the Neckar We had a wonderful evening at the Bootshaus Marbach! The location right on the water is fantastic, especially at sunset. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere simply made you feel good. The food was a highlight: tender gyros with Metaxa sauce, perfectly grilled souvlaki skewers and aromatic lamb chops - all fresh and incredibly tasty! Also ideal for families: our children had fun in the play area while we enjoyed the food. An all-round successful evening – we will definitely be back!

We spent a very nice evening in the boathouse and were completely thrilled! The location right on the water is fantastic. The food was excellent: fresh ingredients, lovingly prepared and tasty. The selection of drinks also left nothing to be desired, with a great selection of beers and refreshing drinks. The staff was super friendly, attentive and took great care of us. We will definitely come back and can recommend the boathouse to anyone who wants to enjoy good food, a nice ambience and a great view.

We always enjoyed coming here... We wanted to come back with our visit today, but unfortunately it wasn't possible because dogs aren't allowed... I can't understand it, since it's still a beer garden and now only has a tarpaulin all around. We took our money to the Greek...The 1 star is just because I can post it.

The surroundings are pretty and there is also parking. Queuing is ok, once you order it goes very quickly. The food... edible. But nothing more. Unfortunately, it wasn't our case at all. We chose to be safe and have schnitzel with fries and sauce. We tried fries without sauce and then just dipped them in the sauce. That meant we didn't eat it all. They were the worst of the entire dish. I didn't like the schnitzel, but my partner thought it was completely fine. This gravy or whatever it was supposed to be was ok. The Hugo was very driver friendly xD In the future we prefer to enjoy the place with things we brought with us.

The food is good. Price is normal. Everything is self-determination. It has benches outside in the open air and inside with glass for a complete view of the Neckar. The staff are friendly. Will go there again.

It's nice to sit in the sun in summer with a view of the Neckar. Works even in the October sun.

They were the worst gyros I've ever eaten. The meat appeared to be warmed up and tasted like it was cooked. It was not just my impression, but also that of my friends. The other ingredients except for fries were just as bad. The salad was average. It's actually a shame because the restaurant is in a nice location.

We recommend eating there at any time. Lots of space for children with a great children's playground. Right on the Neckar, straight into relaxation!

The entire workforce disappears to cheer on the rowing race. The guests stand in line for 20 minutes and don't see any rowing races for that long. In my opinion, really not the attitude to run a restaurant for guests.

So worse service is no longer possible if you can't even order or find anyone from the restaurant. There was a DIN A4 sheet hanging in front of the order counter that the staff currently has to cheer on the rowing team. They will come back in 3 - 5 minutes. Generally not acceptable for a reputable restaurant, but it would be fine for me if they had come back after 3-5 minutes. But unfortunately there was a 15 meter long queue in which everyone shared the same opinion. The stars make up the rest of my review.

Beer garden is located directly on the Neckar and the Neckar cycle path. Therefore well suited for a break. In the beer garden there is only self-service, drinks can be taken away directly and you get a "beeper" for food. Prices okay and fries and red sausage were good too.

Very nice to sit on. When there is a lot of activity, gyros meat is not completely cooked through.

Food is a disaster! Calamaris have a bad smell, gyros are very gristly, the bifteki filling didn't just consist of feta cheese. The rather brown mass was really disgusting. Last but not least, the fries were sticky. A complaint about almost full plates was rejected. Sorry, that doesn't work at all. It's a shame because the atmosphere is very nice. But only one point for that.

Nice beer garden with a good opportunity to go running in Marbach afterwards. There are negative points for the wasp nest, which spoiled our food due to the many wasps. Nothing against the food - it was indescribably delicious, but couldn't be enjoyed with 5 wasps approaching. Maybe check its wooden facade... they disappeared there...

The food is rather bad. But you sit quite nicely. Every now and then, untalented live musicians shout poorly covered songs into the beautiful Neckar Valley.

The location of the beer garden is unique. You sit directly on the banks of the Neckar and you can see the railway viaduct on one side and the lock on the other side - you don't see or hear any cars. Every now and then large boats come by and there are often rowers on the Neckar. A stop for the Neckar ships is right next to the beer garden - get off and be in the beer garden - that's how I imagine paradise. There is enough seating in the sun and shade. A beautiful playground for small and large children is integrated. The naturally cloudy cellar beer is very tasty. If there is a large crowd, a special serving trolley will be opened so that the waiting time is reduced somewhat. The dishes are more mass-oriented. In winter you can eat well in the restaurant. For the number of visitors, things usually run relatively quickly. Concerts take place regularly on Sundays and public holidays in summer - admission is free. Overall, the prices are reasonable for what is on offer and investments are made regularly. This year there is a new glass pavilion, which can also be completely opened. Free WiFi has also recently been available in the boathouse. In summary, I can say that I don't know of a beer garden in the area with such a great atmosphere - it's always worth a visit. From the main cycle path west of the Neckar there is a beautiful footbridge with an entrance directly down to the beer garden. *************** 5 years have now passed and Pana seems to have earned enough now. He switched from AMG to Porsche, which he also places prominently in such a way that every visitor can immediately see where the money is. But you can also experience this in other ways. On an ordinary summer evening, there is exactly one small edition with a cash register where everything happens. Orders are taken, the tap is drawn, and food is served. So you stand and stand in a queue that leads all the way to the stairs behind and you practically don't make any progress, and nobody cares. Buying a SIMPLE DRINK takes at least 25 MINUTES - this is absolutely unacceptable. There is an urgent need to reorganize. Process food separately - if there is normal demand, open a second cash register and definitely employ more staff. Other beer gardens can do it better. I wasn't the only one who thirstily changed locations after waiting forever and was served quickly and well. Or you can bring your drinks with you and sit on the beautiful bank - without any hassle! We have enjoyed coming to the Bootshaus for years because of the location, the music and the delicious food. We were there twice recently, but were very disappointed with the small portions and the price-performance ratio was no longer right. We don't want huge portions, but we don't want mini portions either. A giant plate with a small recess for the salad looks like a lot, but it isn't. We will come again when there is live music, only eat if something changes. What a shame!

Beautiful location directly on the Neckar, children's playground within sight of the tables. I would have associated the name with fish dishes, but the food was delicious nonetheless. Self-service.

A very nicely landscaped beer garden, very large with a playground for the little ones. There are loungers available for sun worshipers right on the Neckar (ship pier). The food was also very good. Relatively large selection. So short and sweet, there is something for everyone

Beer garden with a nice view of the Neckar. There are good parking options close to the restaurant, about 150m away. The beer garden is self-service and the staff is friendly. Prices ok. The fries also tasted okay, a few were crispy, a few were unfortunately a bit soggy. Could be better but are satisfactory. Ketchup and mayo only come from very small, chargeable portion sachets - reduces the fun of eating. Also bad for the environment. The beer tasted good. The glasses are clean, no bubbles forming on the edge of the glass. The beer garden impresses with its view and location in the middle of nature. However, the garden area is not particularly carefully designed. The piled-up stone floor with beer tent sets set up seems a bit careless overall. If you just want to solder one in when the weather is nice and don't have high expectations, you won't be disappointed.

Some of the gyros on the gyro plate were raw or tasted like they were cooked. The fries weren't fried properly either. A friend who ate the same thing 3 days ago reported the same thing. It's a shame, this dish used to be much better. Service, waiting time and of course the location were great

We were there for two European Championship 2024 games from around 5:00 p.m. What was immediately noticeable was the consistently good, smooth organization and structure in the service. The beer garden was packed, but the waiting times were okay. The quality of the food is ok, the gyros are a bit “mushy” but still ok. The atmosphere in the beer garden on the Neckar is of course great.
